Satan never lets up on the Saved

So many people expecting to be raptured write off Bible prophecies that will be fulfilled after the rapture and during the tribulation period with statements like, “I’m not concerned about that. I’m not going to be here anyway.” I’d like to propose a friendly argument to that line of thinking; I firmly believe those types of thoughts are placed in our hearts and minds by Satan himself?

It isn’t enough for the crazy uncles of this world to leave a Bible and a few Rapture Ready articles, etc., in a left-behind box somewhere. That is only half of the ballgame. What good does it do to leave food, supplies, equipment, etc., only for that left-behind loved one to go to hell with a full stomach?

I know many of you reading this are playing the entire ballgame the way I believe God wants you to play it. But for those who might have different degrees of the pre-mentioned attitude, I will offer the following suggestions.

At the end of 2018 the world population was 7.7 billion. Over 2 billion claim to be Catholics and Christians, so they have varied degrees of beliefs in salvation – which is only through Jesus Christ. Many Catholics believe salvation is through Mary (Jesus’ mother) and/or the Roman Catholic Church. Since we don’t know what is in the hearts and minds of Catholics, we have no way of knowing how many Catholics are truly saved.

The same holds true with Christians. Some are Christian in name only. Then add in the false teachings, the prosperity gospels, false religions like Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc., and that number of truly saved is not clear.

So let’s say 5 billion are Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, and a host of other minor religions, cults, etc. That is a lot of folks in such a short time remaining before the rapture. After that, the only Gospel available will be what we all leave behind in left-behind boxes, etc., plus the works of the Holy Spirit, the two witnesses and the 144,000.

The Apostle Paul left us good instructions as he told us of his own feelings and beliefs in Philippians 1: 23-30. In part Paul said, “For I am in a strait betwixt two; having a desire to depart and be with Christ; which is far better. Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.”

Since all of Paul’s writings are inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, he is telling us what God expects for us to do in our remaining days on earth. If it is good enough for the great Apostle Paul to record as a teaching in the Bible, it ought to be good enough for all of us to practice in these final days on earth?

As long as you crazy uncles are still on this planet in mortal form, Satan is going to be all over you like a bear on honey! Collectively, you are one gigantic pain in the butt to Satan’s plans and desires for God’s creation. As long as you are here, you are bringing people to God, both before and after the rapture. After you are raptured, Satan no longer can mess with your minds. You will become “outta sight, outta mind.” You will be under the complete protection of God Almighty Himself. Even an extreme fool like Satan knows better than to mess with God, even if he could. Then Satan, his minions and his gestapo, the antichrist, the false prophet, etc., will have God’s remaining left-behind human creation on earth all to themselves.

Of course, the omnipresent Holy Spirit of God will be available to any of those left behind but they have to seek Him out. God does not force Himself onto anyone. So crazy uncles need to introduce the Holy Spirit to as many before and after the rapture as possible.

The left behind will also have two Jerusalem witnesses and 144,000 Jewish teachers that will be revealed after the rapture. But those left behind need to be educated and alerted as to what to look for. A most important point to be made clear to the left behind is what was covered in early articles in this series, and that is there are only two kinds of survival during the horrendous 7-year tribulation period.  That is physical survival for up to 7 years and spiritual survival for all of eternity.

Those left behind will have a choice to make and, regretfully, not all will make the right decision. The lake of fire is forever. It never burns out. And considering that there may well be five-billon left-behind souls on earth, it looks very good for Satan.

So it is very important that believing followers of Christ go to work now on that five billion and work at breakneck speed to spread the saving gospel to as many as possible. If you are shy and timid to do the Lord’s Work, it will be held against you at the believer’s judgment (Bema seat) by Our Lord and Savior. You are saved, and your slothful behavior won’t keep you out of an eternity in heaven; but imagine, if you will, the face-to-face chastisement from an angry Christ at your final judgment for letting Satan have control of your hearts and mind?

To some of you, it may seem like a rough row to hoe. But it will be well worth it in the eternal hereafter when your earthly life on this planet is complete. Satan is putting those timid, shy and slothful thoughts into the minds and hearts of some crazy uncles as he is trying to win left-behind souls away from God.

I realize five billion is a big number, and no one expects for them all to be saved. An undetermined number will take the 666 mark, so they will be forever lost. No hope at all for them. But the remainder are fair game, and you will be rewarded with crowns and the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” at Christ’s judgment for His Church.

So reject Satan’s temptations to go lazy on God’s Great Commission. Let us all put forth 100% effort in these end-of-days to leave this earth with service that was pleasing to Our Lord.

Another of my wild theories

One of my theories is this: By the time the 2020 elections roll around, there might be under 100 Democrat Socialist secular humanists running against Trump for president. The overwhelming majority of them know they don’t have a chance to win the nomination, but I believe that isn’t why they are running. Imagine 100 loons spouting out outrageous lies daily in rapid-fire sequence. President Trump will wear out his trigger fingers on Twitter responding to them all. And that is exactly what he will do.

The enemies of America have to stop him from doing good things for America and Americans in order to have a chance to win, so distraction will be one of their tools. Obstruct him from keeping his campaign promises and then use it against him!

Really appreciated your latest in Rapture Ready!

I was struck by the Sermon on the Mount statements of Christ in Matt 7:21, and so did a survey of the NT to better understand what is the Will of the Father, since my failure there – in His eyes – is for all eternity.

Your adjurations to the reader are spot on!

I am so concerned for the nominal Christian, the fence-sitter, the head-believer who is not whole-hearted, nor compliant with His whole counsel. I fear there is a huge number of such who need to immediately repent – Today is the Day of Salvation!

Will of the Father

Matt 7:21 (Jesus speaking of our individual final judgment): “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the Will of the Father who is in heaven will enter.” V23: {to the others} “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness….”

At this point there is no further appeal – we are banished! We dare not brush by this, as Christ’s earthly ministry constantly pointed to His doing the will of His Father in Heaven. So, what is this will of the Father for us?

Ephesians 5:8-10 “Walk as children of Light…trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. V17: “So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

I Timothy 2:1-4 “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good acceptable and perfect.”

Col 1:9-10 “…we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will…so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects….”

Luke 13:47 (Christ giving a parable of the slave who was not expecting his master’s imminent return): “And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes.”

Romans 14:23 “…and whatever is not from faith is sin.”

Repentant (It is recommended you read/even memorize King David’s Psalm 51.)

Matthew 22:28-31 “…which one did the will of his father?….Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.”

II Corinthians 7:9 “…for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God…For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation….”

Reverent

Matt 23:9 “Do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.”

Matt 23:22 “And whoever swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.”

Support the spread of His gospel, and none other

Matthew 9:37-38 “…therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Matthew 15:8-9 (from Isaiah) “This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine the precepts of men.” (This is repeated in Mark 7:6-7.)

Mark 7:7 “Neglecting the commandments of God, you hold to the traditions of men.” V13: “…thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.”

Mark 12:14 “…but teach the way of God in truth.”

Mark 12:24 “Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the scriptures or the power of God?”

Luke 1:67 “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people.”

Titus 3:1-7 “…be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men. For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

“But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

This survey shows that it is supremely important to align ourselves with God’s will in and through Christ, if we are to be found acceptable in His sight! You are challenged by His Word to search yourself and confess those things that are hindering your complete assurance in Him.

A second issue will arise in the future – just after the ‘rapture’ or calling up of those ‘Alive in Christ’ as spelled out in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. Those who believed themselves to be Christians, but Christ did not call them up (in other words, left behind), they will be in panic, and seek to remedy their plight. The true church is gone, but buildings remain, and the apostate churches will remain in operation – the full fury of the tribulation is about to commence.

The Book of Revelation 6:11 describes God the Father confirming that more ‘fellow servants and their brethren who were (yet) to be killed as they had been….’ Rev 13:7-12 refers to these Revelation Saints who will be sought out for killing by the antichrist. Rev. 14: 7-10 calls all living souls to Fear God and give Him glory…worship Him….(but) if anyone worships the beast and takes his mark on forehead or hand, they are doomed for eternal destruction and torment.

The saints are told in verse 12 to persevere in keeping the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. It will be a time of horror and regrets for not seeking Christ with their whole heart when it was first offered – take care of business now!

Perhaps you know a ‘nominal Christian,’ or claiming Christ but not walking in righteousness: James 5:18-19 “My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins!”

Prayer List info and guidance

A good way to build a stronger prayer life is to print off hard copies of Prayer Lists #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11 and following, and at any time of day or night when you as an individual want to pray to the Lord, take out your printed copies and read/pray over them again. This is also great for family group prayer and home-church group prayer. God has a very big memory, and all prayers are recorded by Our Lord and Savior.
