We are a big part of His Plan
As we members of Christ’s church sit patiently awaiting the rapture while witnessing our little hearts out to the lost, deceived and spiritually ignorant souls presently alive on earth, maybe we need to pause from time to time and give thanks to God that we are where we need to be in order to spend eternity with Him in heaven.
We could just as easily have been born to a strict militant Muslim family in Iran. Instead of Bible study we would be learning the fine art of bomb building. Instead of growing stronger in the Lord and awaiting His rapture, we could have easily gone to a large wedding party at age 18 and blown-up many innocent people plus ourselves into smithereens.
Or we could have been born in a pagan country or into a cult or in a radical Hindu village or in an MS-13 Central American satanically controlled mob of gangbangers. Or born centuries ago in China or central Africa or to a Native American tribe where the name of Jesus Christ was unheard of.
Some of us might not have realized just how lucky we are to be where we are today. Our souls just might have been born in a different body in a different time in a different culture. God placed us all where we are today for His own plan and reason. We are to serve Him in these end-times as the church age draws to an end. So we must make every effort to serve Him to the best of our God-gifted abilities. Don’t take our many blessings for granted. We are among His chosen.
He did this for us, and the least we can do is attempt to bring souls to Him. It is His Plan for us. During His millennial reign, we must attempt to insure that as much of His creation as possible be with Him in His eternal heaven.
Especially considering the Rapture Ready (RR) readership alone, it is mind-boggling to even guess at how many times our Lord will shout the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” when that time comes?
Even though RR is, and has been for years, the #1 Christian Bible Prophecy website in the world, there is still a massive host of solid Christian believers worldwide who do not know of or follow the site. But many of them read and study from the same Bibles we use in the same manner.
And that is to take His Words literally. He means what He says. He doesn’t play word games with us. He tells us like it is. His Word is 100% truth. There are no errors or contradictions in His collection of words. You can take every word to the bank. All of us don’t understand every verse in the Bible, but the Holy Spirit is everywhere to teach the world – all that request His guidance. Very, very simple.
But the world we now live in is increasingly becoming pagan and run by heathens. Outside of our true church is an apostasy foretold by Bible writers – accelerating false teaching and lies directly from Satan into a massive falling away to where, now, our true church is truly the remnant church. For every good event that serves His plan, there are several from Satan. For the most part, it isn’t our fault. There are a lot more of Satan’s evildoers than there are of us. “Many are called but few are chosen” (Matthew 20: 16, 22:14).
As the church age comes to an end, there is an ever-increasing avalanche of satanic evil being thrust upon us all at once by Satan and his minions. How do we respond to this? We are saved, so it would be easy to cower-back and wait upon the Lord to do all of the heavy lifting? Or we can join His all-powerful never-to-be-defeated army and be on the winning team that conquers evil and puts the demons, imps and fallen angels into their proper place. Again, God gives us all free choice on what we do with our lives and His blessings.
We can do something about it. We can make our small remnant church larger at the rapture, plus increase the crazy-uncle campaign to leave behind soul-saving materials for the left behind to hopefully join us at a later date in paradise. We just can’t give up on this stinking world because there are too many souls to be saved. The more lost souls there are to be saved, the more success we should be having. We need to walk into Satan’s spiritual pit of vipers.
Time is running out, and there are many souls to be saved. One day we will all have to face our Lord and hear a list of things we did and didn’t do in His Name.
More survival tips
Here is a plus thing that doesn’t take a lot of time and money for crazy uncles to be doing now for the left behind. Needless to say, finding food in the wilderness will be a major concern, and those left behind will be going into the 7-year hell on earth blind and not knowing what’s going on. After all, if they would have listened and followed the lead of the crazy uncles, there would be no problems at all up in the clouds. But they didn’t listen. So now on to “Plan B.”
Hardtack is actually a flour cracker easy and fast to make. This was a main staple during the Civil War since there was no refrigeration (“C” rations in my day; I don’t know what they are called now). MRE’s, trail mix (except for thing like nuts and raisins), etc., and Hardtack, if prepared and stored properly, will last for years upon years.
Crazy uncles can be preparing a batch of hardtack daily and storing it away in left-behind rooms, closets, many, many boxes, etc. Be sure to write the preparation date and flavor on each batch with instructions to eat the oldest first.
Start with a cup of room-temperature water in a mixing bowl and slowly mix in 5 to 6 cups of flour with salt (until the mixture is very stiff so you can knead). Put a light coating of flour on your preparation area, board, countertop, etc., and put the large, thick & stiff dough ball in the center. With a rolling pin, roll out the dough ball to a ½-inch sheet and try to keep it as rectangular as possible. With a knife or pizza cutter, cut into squares about the size of a saltine cracker. With a fork, poke holes in the cut squares. The holes help dry all moisture out of the inside of each cracker. The moisture will shorten the shelf-life, so that is a main reason to date each packet so as to eat the oldest first.
The added salt does a couple of things. It adds flavor to the hardtack. It also puts salt into the left- behind’s diet that they will need for good health.
Much of the food they will eat will be raw fruits, vegetables, and leafy produce (grow a lot of spinach, no matter if you like it or not and eat raw like in salads). The seed is easy to harvest and save. Plant much more than you need each year. It never hurts to have too much.
Back to hardtack: Have your oven preheated at 375-degrees and slide your baking sheets with crackers inside for 30 minutes. Then remove from the oven, flip each cracker over, and put back into oven to bake the other side for another 30 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 250 degrees for another 30 minutes. This ensures and extends long-term storage time, so crazy uncles need to do this as we don’t know the time of the rapture. This ensures no moisture in the crackers which causes mold and spoiling from the inside out. Completely cool before packing and storing away. Pack so as not to allow moisture and condensation to get in after a long period of time. Check your stash frequently.
The hardtack crackers are anything but tasty by themselves, so they need to be doctored up in the boonies; the left behind will have to make do with what is available. Crazy uncles can also stockpile items like jam, jelly, preserves, peanut butter, sliced pickles, canned fruit, etc. In the boonies the left behind can crumble up hardtack and add to soups and stews to make them more filling. They can also crush up raw fruit, berries, etc., and spread on the hardtack.

Crazy Uncles can add to the stash they are collecting for their left-behind loved ones and whoever else might stumble onto these needed supplies. Crazy uncles need to establish the habit of stopping at yard sales and flea markets where a lot of bargains can be had at very reasonable prices. Dollar stores are also a good place for bargains. Army Surplus stores may not have the low prices, but items you can’t find elsewhere may be available there.
Yard sales may give one the impression that the only items they have are a ton of used clothing, broken- down TVs and worn out lawnmowers; this is far from the truth. Combine flea markets, yard sales and Dollar stores for just a few of the articles that can be found at cheap prices such as candles, duct tape, zip ties, vinyl gloves, mini sewing kits, rain ponchos, aluminum foil, all sizes of trash bags, etc.
So you aren’t wasting time and money, regularly stop and browse these places.
Look through this site and print off information for your left-behind boxes.
Suggestions for tribulation-period hideouts from antichrist’s gestapo are offered by Anthony Hamm. He suggests the Appalachian Mountain Range (Smokey Mountains, Cumberland Mountains, etc.) in the eastern USA. The gestapo will have a difficult time using vehicles in the canopy which is very thick, plus the fog is very dense which makes helicopter use dangerous. Drones might not be very useful.
There is plenty of good water with lots of game and edible plants. It is rough traveling on foot. Plenty of fuel for fires. Make good use of forward scouts. Beware of mountain lions, bears, wild boars, mountain folks who don’t want to be bothered and want to be left alone, etc. Print off maps of the mountain ranges before you start out. Also pack in a compass or two. Put in weatherproof lightweight envelopes or containers.
Machetes might be a hindrance, so tomahawks and hatchets might be better.
If you are a swamp rat (Florida to Louisiana) or Okefenokee, you will have plenty of food and will have good use of a machete. But remember, one-third of the trees and all grasses will be burned due to some of God’s harsh judgments being poured out on a sinful and disobedient earth.
The best way to survive these harsh judgments and difficult living is to come to Christ now and go to be with Him in the rapture.
This is about the best time of year to be collecting seed catalogs and stocking away seed for the left behind. Many companies offer free catalogs by mail while most have online catalogs. I will list a group of companies I have ordered from over the years:
That isn’t all I ordered from, but I was dissatisfied with some so I didn’t wish to pass them on to you. When ordering seed, be sure to note where their principal location of the seed company’s operation is located. This will indicate where much of their seed is grown, processed and packaged for shipment. You want to get seed that was grown and harvested at nearly the same climate as where you are located. For example, seed grown in Florida won’t produce as well in Minnesota or Montana but will produce well in Texas or California. Seed isn’t just seed.
Those left behind need to be left instructions on how and when to harvest their own seed for next year’s planting. Also a simple book on homestead gardening (no city or urban gardening books).
The most important rule is to harvest way more seed that you think you will ever need, and to keep good written records of dates, what and where the seed came from. You will know in upcoming years what seed produced well and which seed didn’t. So paper (legal pads, spiral notebooks, scratch pads, etc.), #2 lead pencils, and lots and lots of small envelopes are a must for the left-behind boxes.
Their first year in the boonies will mainly be experimental in more ways than one. First, it will be a new experience to many of them, especially the city slickers who don’t have a farm or rural background. But that might not fly well with a lot of country folks currently. I have observed some of my farm friends at local grocery stores and outdoor markets buying a lot of fresh produce. On a lot of items, I have wondered why they don’t grow it themselves. My wife and I still garden; but since I became handicapped and she is now age 67, it has been cut back a lot. Last year we only planted sweet potatoes, cantaloupes, onions, tomatoes, peppers, and our fruit orchard. We also have 3½ acres to mow regularly.
Of course, there are lots of good reasons why farm folks buy at stores, markets, etc.
(1) You can buy at outdoor markets just about as cheap or cheaper as growing it yourself. Plus, at local markets the pick-up truck farmers are usually local farmers, so there is little worry about buying strawberries or tomatoes imported from Mexico, Brazil, etc., where health standards and disease control are nearly non-existent.
(2) Many farm kids just don’t come home after school and do chores anymore. They usually get an after-school job at Dairy Queen, etc., for spending money. Going to high school costs a lot more than it used to. Many parents can’t afford yearbooks, ballgames, proms, kid’s cars, etc. We had three kids in high school at the same time. Plus, mine and my wife’s cars, our front-yard driveway looked like an auto salvage yard and used car lot combined!
(3) The healthcare system has really been a downhill mess for years but really gained speed during the Obama years with his one-payer socialist programs. So many stay-at-home farm moms/wives had to find outside jobs with healthcare as a fringe benefit to see that their families had some coverage. Therefore the garden work, feeding the chickens, mowing the lawn, canning garden produce for the winter, etc., had to stop because mom had a job.
Sure, that extra minimum-wage paycheck coming in helped a little since American food wholesalers were buying so much produce from Mexico, South America, etc., therefore cutting the throats of the American farmer and putting many out of business.
The small farmer and businessperson couldn’t afford healthcare. Believe me, I know. Thirty years ago my health insurance premium was $450 a month with a $7,000.00 deductible with skimpy coverage from an independent insurance agent. My wife went to work full-time as an RN nurse, and our monthly premium dropped to $275 with a $100 deductible in a group employee plan at the hospital she worked at with excellent coverage. And her paycheck was a lot better than her part-time hospital job with no benefits.
But we were lucky as she was a registered nurse. So many farm moms/wives just had a high school education and were working minimum wage jobs with poor fringe benefits.
Back to the left-behind in the boonies: the average farm kid might not know as much about farming as they used to, so wilderness survival might be difficult for all. So buy a lot of how-to books for the left- behind boxes!
It is most important that crazy uncles leave behind a good supply of seed for the left behind to plant and grow their own crops. Be sure to date all packets of seed. We don’t know when the rapture will come (winter, fall, spring, etc.) or the year. So new seed can become old seed if the Lord tarries. So it is important for crazy uncles to keep stockpiling fresh seed year after year (and dated). Stockpile a lot of heirloom seed that is disease-resistant. Plant a large variety of crops. Some will germinate and sprout. Some won’t. And others will sprout runts.
This seed should be used by the left behind for the first growing season until the left behind can harvest and save their own seed for season #2. But they need to use both the crazy uncle’s left-behind seed plus their own in season #2. They don’t know how their own seed will germinate and grow. So they want to be sure something germinates and grows in season #2.
Left-behind folks are urged not to throw away the envelopes and packets crazy-uncle seed comes in. Those envelopes, etc., can be used over for the following seasons. Crazy uncles are urged to leave behind lots of spinach seed.
The left behind will have other problems to cope with:
(1) A bad weather year that effects crop growth;
(2) Scientists tell us the insect population worldwide is shrinking rapidly and dying off, which effects the pollination and cross pollination of plants;
(3) antichrist’s gestapo discovers your wilderness hideaway so you are forced to move, thus leaving all planted crops behind;
(4) drastic event like a forest fire, tornado, drought, flooding, etc., that causes crop loss and failure;
(5) hiding crops from the gestapo. Never plant a conventional garden out in open sunlight in long, straight, cultivated rows. This can easily be spotted by air patrols yet alone foot troops. Hide plantings in natural surroundings, pulling weeds around plants and allowing for sunlight to shine on plants. Something like a corn stalk can easily be seen, so plant in deep, out-of-sight, undercover away from living area.
I have mentioned in previous articles that once the left behind find a camp location, they should immediately find an alternate camp area several miles away. They can stash supplies, seed, long-term storage food and equipment there, dig out cellars and plant gardens so the new camp is ready to move into in case they have to flee from their old camp on immediate notice.
I’ll repeat that one of the first things the left behind should do is scout their area for food that grows in the wild. These food sources will be more hearty and stand up better in nature’s elements than domestic plantings. So they need to have both domestic-grown and wilderness-grown food, plus they need to be drying fruits and veggies, making jerky, pemmican and hardtack for winter use, crop failures or having to move. Again, crazy uncles need to be making up these long-term shelf life foods and storing it away for the left behind.
I hate to keep repeating myself, but these things are important. The entire world will be in utter turmoil, confusion and disruption. Grocery stores will be emptied quickly. Those left behind that you are concerned about most will experience sudden cultural shock and disruption. Planet Earth will be an out-of-control madhouse immediately after the rapture.
The following will be a short list of the seed crazy uncles need to leave behind, and those folks left behind need to harvest and save the seed for the next six years remaining in the tribulation period. I have added to the lists in previous articles, plus additional comments and suggestions.
I would urge those left behind to plant as many root vegetables as possible. All root vegetables draw many nutrients from the soil. The focus on crops should be nutrition and maintaining one’s good health. This will mean eating food that one usually doesn’t like. There are no medical clinics and few doctors and dietitians in the boonies. In previous articles I pointed out a need for each left-behind person to have a seven-year supply of One-a-Day vitamin supplements. I get them in 200-count per bottle which figures out to 13 bottles for seven years. Root veggies are much easier to conceal underground than tall corn stalks or a watermelon and cantaloupe patch. Corn stalks and watermelon patches are out of place in the middle of the boondocks, so they are a dead giveaway to human existence in that area for the gestapo.
Some of the root vegetables I suggest are carrots, white potatoes, parsnips, turnips, rutabagas, onions, artichokes, radishes, ginger, etc. For good health the underground crops should include sweet potatoes (yams), beets, garlic and turmeric.
So you can’t stand beets or turnips? Get used to it. Hold your nose and chug them down! Your life depends on it.
Above-ground vegetables will require planning and concealing off the beaten path and in heavy brush areas. Whenever you plant something in the brush, be sure to pull weeds and brush plants in about a foot diameter from each planting. The weeds, etc., will draw nutrients and moisture, thus starving your planted crop.
Plant lots of beans and spinach, which is essential for good health. Saving bean seed for next year is easy but spinach seed is a bit more difficult. Wait until the spinach plants flower and the leaves start to turn brown. Put paper newspaper pages, etc.) under the dead plants and shake the plants. The tiny seeds will fall off the plants and be caught on the paper. Plant a lot of spinach – half for eating and half for seed. Collect lots and lots of seed. Put in marked envelopes and put in a cool dark cellar for next year’s plantings.
Other vegetables you can plant but are much harder to conceal from the gestapo are squash, pumpkin, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. To save seed, wait until they are ripe. When you break open to eat or cook, scoop out pulp with seeds out of the center and wash in cool water until the pulp is gone (washed away) and the seeds remain. Then air dry the seeds for a week in the open (on a sheet of newspaper), put in marked envelopes and store in cellar until spring. The biggest-sized seeds produce the best crop.
The left behind can also plant perennials that come up every year on their own. This includes asparagus, artichokes, and rhubarb (only eat the rhubarb stalks; the leaves are poisonous). Many herbs are perennial like chives, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme, and others.
More on Hardtack
We briefly covered making hardtack in article #55 and others, but here are some suggestions to make it a bit more tasty. We suggested adding up to a tablespoon of salt to the flour before mixing, but there are other dry seasonings you can add like chili powder, cinnamon, garlic powder, pumpkin pie spice, chocolate powdered drink mix, pepper, etc.
You can also use liquid seasonings like vanilla, different flavors of artificial extracts, lemon extract, etc. But I suggest that you take the liquid flavoring and mix it thoroughly in the cup of water before mixing with flour. And if you use a tablespoon of flavoring, you should probably use a cup of water minus one tablespoon of water, then mix flavoring in water thoroughly before adding flour.
And then you mark the date on each container of hardtack, writing the flavoring also on the packet. I don’t think the left behind will want strawberry-flavored rabbit stew!
In the boonies, don’t throw anything away. Tin cans, cardboard boxes, wrapping string, bailing wire, used tinfoil, empty soda bottles, etc., can be used again for something else. Even discarded stuff by other people. If they pitch it, latch on to it.
Here’s what I’ve done. I bought a child’s baby toy doll, dismembered it, put price tags on each part, painted them blood red, and hung the bloody parts in a tree in my front yard with a sign saying, “Thou shalt not murder.” Then I wait for knocks at my door from the ungodly when I explain to them of their hypocrisy and how Jesus can deliver them. No matter if they accept or reject, I have told them.

I heard an argument about how to be with God. They said all paths lead to God. I say that’s correct. All paths do lead to God no matter what you believe.
But all paths lead to God before the Great White Throne judgment that leads all to an eternity in the Lake of Fire except one. That one exception is Jesus Christ. His path will put you before God to hear the words, “Well done good and faithful servant.” The “one way” is worth it. Salvation is a free gift from God. Only a fool would pass it up.

Prayer List info and guidance
A good way to build a stronger prayer life is to print off hard copies of Prayer Lists #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11 and following, and at any time of day or night when you as an individual want to pray to the Lord, take out your printed copies and read/pray over them again. This is also great for family group prayer and home-church group prayer. God has a very big memory, and all prayers are recorded by Our Lord and Savior.
