The Problem :: By Daymond Duck

What is the problem with Iran and the Arab nations?

Why do Iran and the Arab nations keep trying to destroy Israel?

As I see it, the problem is that God promised to give a lot of land to Israel at the end of the age, but Iran and the Arab nations don’t want Israel to get that land.

They want that land (called the Promised Land) for themselves.

Their religion (a false religion called Islam) even states that they must take it for their god (their moon god called Allah).

They keep trying to destroy Israel in a so-called Holy War to seize the Promised Land and prove that Islam and Allah are real.

But God (the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) won’t let them destroy Israel.

His name is Jehovah, and He won’t allow the destruction of Israel because He must keep His Word, and also He wants to let Iran, the Arab nations, and all the world know that He is God.

When we get right down to the nitty-gritty, the underlying cause of the violent hatred of Iran and the Arab nations for Israel is their greater hatred for Israel’s God and the promises He made to Israel.

This “great hatred” is Satanic.

Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that we are close to the end of the age:

One, concerning an increase in pestilences at the end of the age: on May 2, 2026, Greg Hunter (USAWatchdog) wrote:

  • There are multiple documented health problems caused by the CV19 vax.
  • Hulscher (Epidemiologist Nic Hulscher at the McCullough Foundation) says, “We now have four independent data sets across three countries indicating that the Covid shots resulted in a cancer epidemic.
  • It spans 350 million people in these data sets…. Brain tumors were up 19%.  Colon cancer was up 19%.
  • Then we have stomach, small intestine cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and all of these cancers surged between 2021 and 2023 (latest data available).
  • Then we have the CDC mortality records in the United States.
  • In those records, we see over 138,000 excess cancer deaths in the United States since the CV19 vaccines rolled out.
  • That’s 138,000 more cancer deaths than normal.
  • This is likely due to the CV19 mRNA vax injections.
  • Lastly, we have two other countries, Italy and South Korea, with two studies with 8.7 million people where they compare vaccinated to unvaccinated, and the vaccinated suffered increased risk of seven major cancers…. This is very worrisome, and it is now undeniable.

Two, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on May 7, 2026, it was reported that:

  • Turkey unveiled its first domestically developed intercontinental ballistic missile this week, signaling a dramatic expansion of Ankara’s military capabilities and raising new concerns across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
  • Turkey has spent recent years aggressively expanding its domestic defense industry after tensions with NATO allies and its removal from the F-35 fighter jet program.
  • Ankara now aims to meet nearly all of its military requirements domestically by 2030.
  • Turkey is also developing the KAAN fifth-generation fighter jet, producing the Altay main battle tank, expanding its naval fleet with new submarines and destroyers, and ramping up production of advanced drones and hypersonic missile systems.

(My comment: Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan has threatened to attack Israel on several occasions. This could have implications for the Battle of Gog of Magog.)

(More: On May 7, 2026, it was reported that Hamas terrorists have been conducting training in areas of Turkey.)

(More: On May 11, 2026, Gatestone Institute posted an article by Khaled Abu Toameh that said, “New revelations emerging from Israeli security investigations have shattered any illusion that Turkey’s relationship with Hamas is limited to “political support” or “diplomatic engagement.” The evidence increasingly points to a situation far more alarming: Turkey has become a primary operational, logistical, and financial hub for Hamas’ global terror infrastructure…. By allowing Hamas members to develop drone capabilities on Turkish soil, Ankara is deliberately grooming terrorists for future wars against Israel.”)

Three, concerning corruption in America: on May 5, 2026, U.S. Vice-Pres. Vance said Pres. Trump’s anti-fraud task force has identified nearly 186,000 dead people that are receiving SNAP (food stamp) assistance, and roughly 355,000 living people that are receiving duplicate SNAP assistance (twice as much as they should).

Vance said, “There are people who have Lamborghinis who currently receive SNAP benefits, and if you are wealthy enough to afford a Lamborghini, then you are wealthy enough to not receive SNAP benefits from the American people.”

Four, concerning the possibility of food shortages in the near future: on May 10, 2026, Hal Turner Radio reported that:

  • Production of food is already being affected by lack of fertilizers coming out of the Middle East.
  • Most modern fertilizers are nitrogen (urea) based, and they come from oil refining.
  • Those food production issues would get markedly worse, resulting in actual famine in some countries, and considerable food shortages in many other countries.
  • Then, too, is the Diesel fuel situation.
  • Without Diesel fuel, trucks and trains cannot operate.
  • The U.S. presently has about 43 days of diesel fuel remaining in its commercial supplies.
  • If/when Diesel runs out, the trucks and trains all stop.
  • No trucks to pick up food from farms and take it to processing centers.
  • No trucks to go from processing centers to distribution warehouses.  No trucks to take it from warehouses to supermarkets.
  • Ergo – no food on store shelves.
  • That is what’s already coming, in Europe first, and in the US likely around July 4.

(My comment: Hal Turner Radio said “if.” I don’t know what will happen, but I believe God can bring nations down anytime He wants. Much prayer is needed.)

Note: ZeroHedge has also commented on this. But they say, “Here in the United States, food will still be available. But it will cost a lot more than it once did, because farmers will be forced to pass along much higher costs for fertilizer and fuel.

  • Once Hormuz was threatened, the war changed character.
  • It moved from military targets into energy markets, shipping insurance, fertilizer costs, food production and inflation.
  • A conflict that began as a military campaign became a test of the global system’s most fragile arteries.
  • A disruption in Hormuz does not remain at sea.
  • It reaches the farm, the port, the grocery store, and eventually the household budget.

FYI: An astute reader likened this to the Days of Noah when many people will live like everything is normal and not be prepared (saved) for what is about to happen (Matt. 24:36-39).

  • “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
  • But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
  • For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
  • And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

(Reminder: For several years, globalists have been saying that we need a global crisis to bring in a global government. I am not saying this is it, but it is easy to see that the world could be facing a global crisis.)

(More: On May 11, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the HF Sinclair refinery, which has a crude-processing capacity of 125,000 barrels per day, has suffered a fire. This comes just days after another refinery fire in the New Orleans area. The refinery is critical because it primarily processes sweet crude, can handle some sour Canadian crude, and markets refined products to the Mid-Continent states. Its products include gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, renewable diesel, lubricants, specialty chemicals, and asphalt.)

Five, concerning the Euphrates River drying up (Rev. 16:12) to allow the Kings of the East (China and some of its allies) to invade the Middle East during the Tribulation Period: on May 10, 2026, it was reported that:

  • The water levels of the Euphrates have now plummeted to one of its lowest points in recorded history, according to the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).
  • As the Euphrates River’s water levels continue to deplete, people online wonder whether this is a signal of the end of times or just evidence of climate change harming the planet.

Six, concerning wars and rumors of wars and specifically Israel’s war with Hamas: on May 12, 2026, it was reported that:

  • S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said Israel may have to disarm Hamas, amid growing indications the Islamic terror group is reasserting control over parts of Gaza in defiance of a ceasefire agreement that required it to disarm.
  • Huckabee added that it may end up that Israel is the only entity that is willing to disarm Hamas.

Seven, concerning a ceasefire in the U.S.-Iran war: on May 12, 2026, Hal Turner Radio reported that Iran has informed the Pakistani mediator that it will not enter a second round of negotiations with the US unless five minimum “confidence-building” conditions are met.

Iran’s reported five minimum conditions include:

  • Ending the war on all fronts, especially Lebanon.
  • Lifting sanctions on Iran.
  • Releasing blocked Iranian funds.
  • Compensation for war damages.
  • And recognition of Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Turner said,

  • So, Iran does not seem to have changed any of its requirements from the start of negotiations, and the US does not seem to have changed ANY of its requirements.
  • As such, it seems to most rational people that these were not “negotiations” where two sides talk with each other; they were posturing where the two sides talked at each other.

Here are some war reports as they came in from the U.S. and Israel:

The U.S. calls its attacks Operation Epic Fury.

Israel calls its attacks Operation Roaring Lion.

Thurs. Day 69 (May 7, 2026) (Day 16 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Iran has launched a massive drone attack on locations in Erbil, Iraq (The location is home to U.S. military forces and the Kurds). Fighter jets are in the air.
  • IRIB, Iran’s official state broadcaster, confirms Iran has fired missiles at US naval units in the Strait of Hormuz. This is not a claim. This is the Islamic Republic announcing it.
  • CENTCOM confirmed that the guided-missile destroyers USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta, and USS Mason were targeted by Iranian missiles, drones, and small attack boats while moving through the strategic waterway into the Gulf of Oman. No American assets were damaged during the confrontation. U.S. forces destroyed incoming threats and carried out strikes against Iranian missile and drone launch sites, command centers, radar systems, and intelligence facilities believed to be responsible for coordinating the attacks. Pres. Trump said Iran would face far more severe military action if it failed to quickly reach a nuclear agreement with Washington.
  • The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked the United Arab Emirates again with cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones.
  • Trump said Iran has a week to reply to a list of U.S. demands for ending the conflict (My sarcasm: Perhaps he means a week of months or years, or perhaps he means a week before his next extension.)

Fri. Day 70 (May 8, 2026) (Day 17 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • The U.S. struck several Iranian Crude Carriers to prevent Iran from using them.
  • Iran struck vessels in – or near – the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Iran attacked the UAE with drones and missiles for the third time this week.

Sat. Day 71 (May 9, 2026) (Day 18 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • It was reported that Satellite images reveal a massive oil slick near Iran’s Karg Island. Whether it is an equipment failure, Iran is deliberately dumping oil, or what is unknown. The oil can catch fire under the right conditions.
  • It was reported that Iran-US Negotiations Stall as Key Disputes Continue Over Hormuz and Nuclear Program (A reader’s comment: Nero fiddled and Rome burned. Now the entire world fiddles, and the entire world burns.)
  • The IRGC said, “From now on, we will strike one of the US military bases or ships in the region every time the United States carries out an airstrike against an Iranian Oil Tanker.”
  • An Iranian official said, “Our missiles and drones have locked onto American targets in the region and the enemy aggressor’s ships. We are awaiting the order to fire.”
  • Following Hezbollah drone attacks on Israeli territory, Israel struck more than 85 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

Sun. Day 72 (May 10, 2026) (Day 19 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • It was reported that the International Energy Agency (IEA) has called Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz the “largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market.”
  • Trump and Iran rejected each other’s latest peace proposals aimed at ending the 10-week war.
  • Trump said the U.S. has Iran’s highly enriched uranium under surveillance 24/7, and at some point, we will go after it or blow it up.
  • Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said the war with Iran is not over. Iran’s enriched uranium must still be removed, and there are still enrichment sites that must be dismantled.
  • Iran sends a stark warning to London and Paris not to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz. Iran said, “We remind the countries that in both wartime and peacetime, only Iran can ensure the security of this strait, and Iran will not allow any other country to interfere. An intervention will be met with a firm and immediate response.”

Mon. Day 73 (May 11, 2026) (Day 20 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • I didn’t record anything.

Tues. Day 74 (May 12, 2026) (Day 21 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem announced that the terrorist group would not surrender, and called for an end to the direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon.
  • Talks between the United States and Iran are reportedly expected to be officially canceled due to Tehran’s refusal to compromise on key issues.
  • Trump said the Iranian regime would be “decimated” if it refused to agree to end the war, saying the United States would prevail “peacefully or otherwise.”
  • It was reported that Saudi Arabia and the UAE launched covert strikes on Iran earlier in the war.

Wed. Day 75 (May 13, 2026) (Day 22 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Trump will be in China today. China has been playing a major role in the U.S.-Iran conflict — even if it has done so from the margins: serving as the largest importer of oil from the Islamic Republic in violation of U.S. sanctions, meeting with top Iranian officials (including last week’s sit-down between Xi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi), and transferring weapons to Iran through third countries.
  • Saudi Arabia attacked some Iranian proxies in Iraq.

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
