UN, US, and Israel :: By Terry James

We’ve looked many times at Israel’s destiny and what things will look like for that prophetic nation as the time of Christ’s return nears. One primary prophecy in this regard is from Zechariah, as we have looked at many times.

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zechariah 12:1-3).

My purpose here, as usual, is to focus on how near we must be to that promise found in the great unveiling of the glory of the King of all kings when He breaks through the dark, tumultuous clouds of Tribulation at the time of Armageddon (read Revelation 19:11).

God has promised His chosen people of His chosen nation, Israel, that, even prior to Armageddon, He will intervene at the time all the world tries to force Israel from the midst of nations. He tells through the prophet Zechariah that all nations will eventually come against Israel.

All the nations of the world are represented to one extent or the other by the United Nations (UN). Can we see any anti-Israel bias in this organization at present?

We consider the following news item excerpt to find an answer.

18 September 2024 Peace and Security

The United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to adopt a resolution that demands that Israel “brings to an end without delay its unlawful presence” in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

With a recorded vote of 124 nations in favour, 14 against, and 43 abstentions, the resolution calls for Israel to comply with international law and withdraw its military forces, immediately cease all new settlement activity, evacuate all settlers from occupied land, and dismantle parts of the separation wall it constructed inside the occupied West Bank.

The General Assembly further demanded that Israel return land and other “immovable property”, as well as all assets seized since the occupation began in 1967, and all cultural property and assets taken from Palestinians and Palestinian institutions.

The resolution also demands Israel allow all Palestinians displaced during the occupation to return to their place of origin and make reparation for the damage caused by its occupation. (“UN General Assembly demands Israel end ‘unlawful presence’ in Occupied Palestinian Territory,” By Vibhu Mishra, UN News)

All of this is in answer to one of the most heinous attacks in history–that perpetrated by Hamas against Israel on October 7, 2023.

Satan has seemingly entered the mind of much of the world—at least those represented in the UN who have joined in voting to come against the Jewish state. But the Lord, who watches over Israel and who neither slumbers nor sleeps, has guaranteed severe countermeasures against the satanically inspired anti-Semitic forces of history.

All who curse Israel will be cursed, and all who bless Israel will be blessed, as it is written (Genesis 12:3). We can examine the nations and peoples of history that have cursed God’s chosen and find them in the dustbins of history, or not at all.

Germany’s downfall and history of domination by a satanically inspired Soviet regime is modern proof of God’s promise to curse those who curse Israel. The Soviet Union itself dealt harshly with the Jews, and it, too, was cursed and continues to be so to this day, as once again called Russia.

The United States has been mightily blessed, on the other hand, having been instrumentally used by Israel’s God in bringing the Jews again into the land God promised them.

Satan is obviously working with all his being to bring anti-Semitism to America–particularly infecting a significant number of youthful minds within the Ivy League schools.

At the same time, the Lord has, I’m convinced, raised a champion for Israel in the US at this juncture so near the end of this Age of Grace.

Like his manners or not, President Donald J. Trump continues to prove his friendship with and his determination to protect Israel in its modern reincarnation –this while the geopolitical and national political left joins those UN forces arrayed against Israel, blaming the Jews even for what happened that evil day of October 7, 2023.

It is flabbergasting that even Jews within the American government and within the institutions of higher learning, such as Harvard, Columbia, and others, join the mantra to remove all Jews from the river to the sea, as is the luciferic chant promoted by mainstream news media each and every day.

However, it is heartening that God obviously is meeting this Zechariah 12-level hatred with strength to safeguard Israel emanating from the most powerful nation-state on the planet. I strongly suspect that we are about to witness that power on display against Israel’s chief nation-state enemy and its attempt to produce nuclear weaponry, which Iran would certainly use, as vowed, to destroy Israel – this action against Iran being probable despite critics who lately declare that Trump seems to be noncommittal or even have a change of mind on destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons laboratories.

For this reason–the protective nation-partnership with Israel—and the fact that God’s family, the born-again, remain in this country, there is hope that the United States will survive this end-of-the-age, satanically spawned evil at least until Jesus steps out on the clouds of Glory and shouts “Come up here!”

Here is how to be part of that family of God that will hear Jesus when He calls in the Rapture.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

From Jew to Completed Jew: Miracle From God… :: By Geri Ungurean

He Wanted to Assure Me That Jesus is Lord

I bring this article out frequently because it is miraculous what God did in my life. If you have not read this before, I do hope and pray that it blesses you!

But today I was just about knocked over by something which I will reveal at the end of this piece.

But before I tell the readers, I must repost the original article:

Originally written in 2015, I bring this article out every few years. And I pray that some of my people might happen upon it and believe in their hearts that Yeshua was and IS the long-awaited Messiah of the Whole world.

If you have Jewish friends who are searching for truth, perhaps this article would open their eyes!

This story makes my heart leap inside my chest whenever I tell it. Being Jewish, it was miraculous enough that the Lord opened my eyes to Jesus and helped me see Him with my heart. But what transpired a couple of weeks later was truly a gift from Him.

After the glorious night of my salvation, all I wanted to do was read my Bible. I honestly forgot to eat meals sometimes because I was so absorbed in His Word. I wanted to please Him in every way. Almost instantly, I knew that He wanted me to stop doing certain things. I had an aversion to off-color TV shows and movies. Soap operas were gone forever, and I had been addicted to them for years.

I saw the world differently. It was like He gave me new vision, like I was seeing people through His eyes. I wanted to stop every person I saw and ask them, “Do you know Jesus?” I was even able to discern people who loved Him. It was a certain look in their eyes. When I would finally ask if they knew Him, the answer was almost always, “Yes” and if not, it gave me an open door to tell them about Yeshua and His love for them.

My Jewish parents and siblings were not so thrilled. Well, perhaps that’s an understatement. They thought I was completely meshugana (crazy in Yiddish). But I quietly treasured in my heart that I knew the truth, and I prayed that my family would one day know it as well.

A week before my water baptism, I spoke to a lady at a Messianic congregation in Maryland – Beth Messiah. I was very excited to know other Jews who knew the truth about Messiah Yeshua. She was as excited as I was. She asked me if I had looked at Isaiah 53. I had not, but I told her that I would look after our conversation. She told me that she would mail to me literature about Beth Messiah.

Isaiah 53. OY! How did I miss that for so many years? It was an accurate description of Yeshua being led to Calvary to be slaughtered for the sins of the world. I read it over and over. I could not believe that such a picture of the Crucifixion was in my Old Testament that entire time.

I wanted to obey Him in all things. My friend told me about baptism and how He wanted us all to be baptized after we were born again. I told her that I wanted to be baptized—the sooner the better. Then the day of my baptism came.

As I came up from the water, I uttered some words which I did not understand. I felt that God wanted me to remember these words, so I kept repeating them quietly to myself. The next day, I received an envelope from Beth Messiah. There was a cover page that told about the congregation. I saw the first words that I had said, “H’brit Chadashah,” on this page.

My heart was beating so fast. Beside the words was the translation: “The New Testament.” I realized that I had spoken Hebrew! I was not Bat Mitzvah’d – only confirmed in my synagogue, so I did not learn Hebrew.” Then I saw the next word I had said, “Yeshua,” which means Jesus.

But the last word I had said was not there. It was “mannah” and I had to know what it meant. I called the home of my rabbi. His wife answered. I told her who I was and that I found a word and thought it was Hebrew. I told her it was “mannah.” She said, “Of course, that is Hebrew. It is manna, the bread from heaven.”

Well, I almost passed out. I had said in Hebrew: “The New Testament of Jesus is the bread from heaven!” What a glorious gift to receive from Him; a confirmation that what I believed was TRUE and given to me in Hebrew.

I told a Baptist minister this story. He told me that in 38 years of hearing “tongues” stories, mine was the first one he believed. He said that it was done in accordance with Scripture. He told me that he would never forget it.

What I learned today:

Do you know what BETHLEHEM means in Hebrew?

Beth means HOUSE.

Lehem or (Lechem) means BREAD.

HOUSE OF BREAD!!

Brethren – does that excite you as it does me?

Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do?  Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always” (John 6:30-40).

COME, LORD JESUS!

How Can I Be Saved?

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!
