Shattered :: By Daymond Duck

On Apr. 20, 2026, Harbinger’s Daily posted an article by Tom Gilbreath (an author and a contributor to the Hal Lindsey Report) titled “Iran Is Learning the Hard Way… Nothing Can Thwart God’s Promises to The Nation of Israel).

Here is just part of what Gilbreath said (mostly Gilbreath’s words but a little in my words as I understand it, and for brevity):

First, concerning Iran’s status on Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel, Gilbreath said:

  • Iran had Israel surrounded.
  • Iran controlled Hezbollah, who had more than 150,000 missiles and rockets, and Hezbollah controlled Lebanon on Israel’s north.
  • Iran directed Syria on Israel’s northeast.
  • Iran gave arms to, and held the loyalty of, Iraq’s massive Shiite militias to Israel’s east.
  • Yemen’s Houthi rebels were over a thousand miles to Israel’s south, but with sophisticated Iranian missiles and drones, they made their presence felt.
  • Palestinian terrorists carried out an ongoing campaign against Israel from Judea and Samaria (also known as the West Bank).
  • Iran was giving money and weapons to Hamas because Hamas shared Iran’s goal of annihilating Israel.
  • Iran had oil and oil money.
  • It had the nuclear powers of Russia, China, and North Korea for strategic partners.
  • And Iran had a religious zeal to build its own nuclear weapons, along with the missiles to deliver them anywhere in the world.

Second, concerning Iran’s status today, Gilbreath said:

  • Hamas still exists and might rise again, but, for now, it is a shell of its former self.
  • Hezbollah keeps finding and firing remnants of its old missile arsenal, but it has nothing like the stockpile it had just 2½ years ago.
  • The new regime in Syria is wicked and dangerous, but it is not linked to Iran as the old Assad regime had been.
  • The Houthis, the Shiite militias in Iraq, and other enemies of Israel still exist.
  • But the Iranian regime that once fed and directed them has been shattered.

Think about this: According to the Bible, Israel cannot be destroyed at the end of the age, and Gilbreath correctly points out that Iran has been shattered.

Here is a link to his entire article.

Here are some recent articles that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close:

One, on Apr. 22, 2026, Christine Darg (award-winning journalist, evangelist, and co-founder of JerusalemChanneltv) said,

  • Let’s look together at what the Bible says about God’s sovereign plan for this land (Israel) and for all the peoples living in it.
  • He hasn’t forgotten any of you; in fact, He has specific blessings just for you!
  • The Scriptures show that God gave the land of Israel as an everlasting inheritance to the descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob—not through Ishmael (see Genesis 17:19-21 and the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 12:7, 13:15, 15:18-21).
  • That’s why many who study Bible prophecy believe a separate “Palestinian” state dividing the land will not ultimately succeed.
  • In fact, we cannot overlook Joel 3:2, strongly warning that God will judge the nations “for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel… because they… divided up my land.”
  • Let’s trust God’s Word over human politics.
  • He is sovereign, He loves us all, and His prophetic timeline leads to ultimate peace.
  • Pray with me for the peace of Jerusalem and the whole region (Psalm 122:6)—and for God’s blessings to overflow on all the families of the earth.

Two, on Mar. 13, 2026, Israel365News posted an article by Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz about a nationwide billboard campaign (by Dr. Mike Evans and Friends of Israel) thanking Pres. Trump for America’s support for Israel.

Evans called the campaign “nothing less than a Purim miracle.”

He said,

  • The courage and leadership shown by President Trump, combined with the faith of millions who believe in God’s protection over Israel, are changing the course of history in the Middle East.
  • The Sages teach that those who act courageously to protect the Jewish people merit divine recognition.
  • The Bible records, “For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory” (Deuteronomy 20:4).
  • Evans’ campaign frames Trump’s actions as aligned with that principle, portraying the president’s leadership as instrumental in safeguarding Israel and supporting its strategic position in the region.
  • By publicly thanking both God and a world leader, the campaign situates Israel’s current conflicts within a framework of faith and tangible political action.

(My comment: The Bible teaches that God raises up leaders and God brings down leaders – good and bad – meaning that Pres. Trump’s support for Israel is God’s doing to fulfill His Word.)

Three, concerning the shattering of Iran: on Apr. 23, 2026, several U.S. officials, including Pres. Trump, met with officials from Lebanon and Israel at the White House.

Israel and Lebanon agreed to extend their 10-day ceasefire for three more weeks, and Pres. Trump agreed to have the U.S. work with Lebanon in order to help it protect itself from Hezbollah.

(Update: on Apr. 27, 2026, Lebanon’s Pres. Aoun publicly condemned Hezbollah for serving “foreign interests” — a courageous stand as direct Lebanon-Israel peace talks continue despite Hezbollah’s fierce opposition.)

(Update: On Apr. 27, 2026, Israel launched major airstrikes in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley after Hezbollah killed an IDF soldier and wounded six others — exposing the ceasefire as dangerously near collapse, with Hezbollah having now fired 10,000 projectiles at Israel since the Iran war began.)

(Update: On Apr. 27, 2026, it was reported that Iran is rapidly running out of space to store its oil as President Trump continues his naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz — which could lead to “irreversible” damage to the regime’s biggest industry and lifeblood of its economy.)

(Update: On Apr. 27, 2026, an Israeli official said the Lebanese government has not taken a single step against Hezbollah since the ceasefire in Lebanon went into effect some two weeks ago. There have been no arrests, no attempts to prevent attacks on our soldiers, and no effort to stop the rocket fire.”)

(Update: On Apr. 28, 2026, Pres. Trump said: Tehran has informed Washington they are in a “state of collapse” and that the Iranians want the US to “open the Hormuz Strait” – as ‘tank tops’ loom. Pres. Trump doesn’t appear open to Iran’s proposal, which hinges on the US naval blockade ending and the nuclear issue being pushed to future negotiations. Tehran is working on a revised plan to be sent in a few days.)

Four, concerning the shattering of Iran: on Apr. 27, 2026, Mike Waltz (U.S. Ambassador to the UN) told the UN Security Council:

  • The world’s critical waterways are not bargaining chips that belong to any one country.
  • They are too important to all of us collectively as a global community to be choked off, to be mined, to be weaponized, to be attacked like two-bit pirates, because when they are, the entire world pays the price (surging oil, liquified natural gas and fertilizer prices).
  • It is absolutely clear. It’s unambiguous that, as a matter of international law, this strait is not, despite the Iranian foreign minister’s claims—this strait is not Iran’s to wield like its own moat and drawbridge.

Five, concerning the shattering of Iran: on Apr. 29, 2026, it was reported that:

  • Iran’s economy is rapidly deteriorating under the strain of war, with more than one million people out of work, and inflation soaring to crippling levels.
  • Another million jobs have been indirectly affected, as businesses shut down and supply chains collapse across the country.
  • The U.S. naval blockade has crippled Iran’s ability to export oil, its primary source of revenue.
  • Inflation has surged to 67%, and the national currency has plummeted to record lows, leaving basic goods increasingly unaffordable. Even subsidized food items are now beyond reach for many citizens struggling to survive.

(My comment: While Pres. Trump is using his maximum pressure campaign to get Iran to agree to his terms, he is using the time to strengthen and resupply the U.S. military forces near Iran.)

Here are some war reports as they came in from the U.S. and Israel:

The U.S. calls its attacks Operation Epic Fury.

Israel calls its attacks Operation Roaring Lion.

Thurs. Day 55 (Apr. 23, 2026) (Day 2 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Trump said that the 3–5-day window reported earlier was “false.” Trump added, based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so, and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal.
  • Trump said the Iranian regime is increasingly unable to meet its financial obligations, including payments to soldiers and police officers.
  • Trump ordered the U.S. Navy to shoot and kill any Iranian vessels that are laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

Fri. Day 56 (Apr. 24, 2026) (Day 3 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) revealed that there are three carrier strike groups in the Middle East for the first time since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
  • More than 15 countries started urgently advising their citizens to leave Iran immediately. They appear to believe war is imminent.
  • Iran agreed to meet with U.S. negotiators for more ceasefire talks in Pakistan.

Sat. Day 57 (Apr. 25, 2026) (Day 4 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Trump said he canceled the trip of the American delegation to Pakistan for talks on an agreement with Iran because the Iranian representatives had already left Pakistan. Trump said he told the U.S. negotiators, “You’re not making an 18-hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you’re not going to be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around talking about nothing.”
  • Following the launch of several rockets and UAVs from Lebanon, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu ordered the Israel Defense Forces to “vigorously” attack the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group.

Sun. Day 58 (Apr. 26, 2026) (Day 5 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Trumpalready signaled that he plans to keep the blockade active until a complete deal is struck with the Iranian regime.
  • Iran, through Pakistani mediators, gave the US a new proposal on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ending the war, with nuclear negotiations postponed for a later stage.

Mon. Day 59 (Apr. 27, 2026) (Day 6 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio delivered a blunt message to Iran: the U.S. will not accept any arrangement in which Tehran acts as gatekeeper to the Strait of Hormuz — demanding coordination, permission, or payment from vessels wishing to pass through what are, by international law, open waters.
  • Trump told his aides to prepare for an extended blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Israel’s Defense Min. said the seven-front War of Redemption against Iran and its regional proxies is expected to continue throughout 2026.

Tue. Day 60 (Apr. 28, 2026) (Day 7 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • The U.S. has just moved a fourth aircraft carrier (the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower) to within striking distance of Iran.
  • The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced it is quitting the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), effective May 1, because it must dramatically increase production once the war is over to make up for lost revenues and pay for damaged facilities

Wed. Day 61 (Apr. 29, 2026) (Day 8 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)

  • Trump said the Mullahs can’t get their act together, and they don’t know how to sign a non-nuclear deal to end the war. (Note: Pres. Trump needs to understand that the Islamic religion forbids the Mullahs to submit to him on anything because it teaches that non-Muslims are heathens. They believe they must always submit to Allah and never to heathens.)
  • Trump said the U.S. destroyed 80 percent of Iran’s missiles and missile factories and would take out the rest ‘very quickly if we don’t make a deal.’

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Israel is Seizing the Holy Land :: By Dr. Bill Salus

Before the watchful eyes of the world, Israel is presently procuring portions of the Promised Land in what appears to be a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. As this unfolds, prospects for a Palestinian state are diminishing, while antisemitism is escalating—highlighting the inability of the international community to reverse the course.

The collapse of the Assad regime in Syria and Mideast wars between Israel versus Iran and its proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, coupled with uprisings by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the West Bank, have provoked Israel to enlarge its borders for national security reasons.

As you read the rest of this article, realize that, firstly, these boundary expansions are located within the territories promised to the twelve tribes of Israel. Secondly, Israel’s land gains are generally accompanied by evacuation notifications, then followed by severe demolitions of the targeted cities and villages. Thirdly, in light of the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre, it’s likely that Israel will never voluntarily relinquish any of these newly acquired territories.

Israeli Expansion Into Syria In December 2024

Following the flight of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad in December 2024, Israel nullified the 1974 Agreement on Disengagement between Israel and Syria and extended its reach into Syria beyond the Golan Heights.

On December 8, 2024, the Associated Press reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli forces were moving to control a roughly 400-square-kilometer (155-square-mile) demilitarized buffer zone in Syrian territory adjacent to the Golan Heights. Israel’s move was to prevent a security vacuum in the aftermath of Assad’s fall for some of the following reasons:

  • to avoid cross-border terrorist invasions,
  • to enable preemptive defense,
  • for protection against Iran-backed groups, specifically Hezbollah, from taking over territory previously controlled by the Syrian military.

The Golan Heights, formerly known as biblical Bashan, and much, if not all, of this Israeli-controlled buffer zone, is territory that is promised to the tribe of Manasseh. The main passages that describe the half-tribe of Manasseh’s land, especially the part in Bashan that includes the Golan area, are these:

  • Deuteronomy 3:13 — Moses gives the rest of Gilead and all of Bashan to the half-tribe of Manasseh.
  • Joshua 13:29-31 — Details their eastern territory: from Mahanaim, all of Bashan, the 60 towns of Jair, and half of Gilead.
  • Numbers 32:33 — Moses assigns them the kingdom of Og, king of Bashan, along with Reuben and Gad.

Israeli Expansion Into Gaza in October 2025

Since the October 2025 ceasefire agreement, Israel has been expanding its control into the Gaza Strip using a “Yellow Line” as a demarcation border. It is marked by yellow-painted concrete blocks. While this line was originally intended to mark the boundary of an Israeli military withdrawal, it has become a “creeping” or shifting border that has, on multiple occasions, been moved deeper into the Gaza Strip.

Initially, the “Yellow Line” placed about 53% of the Gaza Strip under Israeli control. In December 2025, Israel began moving the yellow concrete blocks further west, creating a “de facto partition” of the territory. By early 2026, Israel was strengthening this line with earth berms and concrete outposts, transforming it from a temporary ceasefire line into a permanent security boundary.

The main passages that point out Gaza is to be given as the inheritance to the tribe of Judah are identified below.

  • Joshua 15:20, 47 — Informs that Gaza is to be given as the inheritance to the tribe of the children of Judah and their families.
  • Zephaniah 2:4-7 — Foretells Gaza and that portion of the Mediterranean seacoast will be designated for pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks for the remnant of the house of Judah. It says, “They will feed their flocks” there, which happens during the Messianic Kingdom.
  • Obadiah 1:19 — Says, “Those living in the foothills of Judah will possess the Philistine plains,” which would include Gaza.

Israeli Expansion Into Lebanon in April 2026

Israel began establishing its “yellow line” zone in southern Lebanon on or around April 18, 2026. The zone acts as a buffer strip to prevent access by Hezbollah into the northern border of Israel and to secure control, similar to the strategies employed in Gaza.

The area spans approximately 55 Lebanese towns and villages, including the Qana gas field in the Mediterranean. It functions as a “sterile zone,” where Israeli forces have carried out systematic demolitions and infrastructure clearing to maintain control, dismantle Hezbollah’s capabilities, and force its presence north of the Litani River—about 20 miles from the Israeli-Lebanese border.

Moreover, on March 23, 2026, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich made a definitive statement reported by The Times of Israel, calling for Israel to extend its official borders to the Litani River. He argued that the ongoing military campaign must result in a “radical change” to Israel’s geography to ensure long-term security. He compared the waterway to the Yellow Line in Gaza and IDF-held buffer zone in Syria.

Smotrich’s comments actually align with the land promised to the tribe of Asher, which will include the cities of Sidon, Tyre, and Sarafand (biblical Zarephath). As the “yellow line” map above illustrates, both Tyre and Sarafand are south of the Litani River.

  • Joshua 19:24-31 — Allots twenty-two cities with their villages existing at the time, including the sister cities Sidon and Tyre.
  • Obadiah 1:20 — Tell us the Israelis will “occupy the Phoenician coast as far north as Zarephath,” which is modern-day Sarafand. This land will belong to the tribe of Asher.

Israeli Expansion Into the West Bank (Biblical Judea and Samaria) 2025-2026

Presently, Israel is systematically legalizing dozens of settlements throughout the West Bank, which is the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria. The current Israeli government, which took office in 2022, has formally approved over 100 new settlements and authorized around 200, representing a significant acceleration in settlement activity.

On August 20, 2025, an Israeli defense ministry committee gave final approval for a controversial settlement project in the E1 zone. The plan involves building 3,400 new housing units between East Jerusalem and the Ma’ale Adumim settlement, a move widely viewed as a major threat to a contiguous Palestinian state.

On December 21, 2025, reports confirmed that Israel’s security cabinet approved the creation or formal recognition of 19 new Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

In April 2026, the Israeli security cabinet approved another 34 new settlements in the West Bank in a single, record-setting decision. This April 2026 authorization includes retroactively legalizing existing outposts and establishing new ones, deepening the Israeli presence in Judea and Samaria.

The Bible primarily identifies the region of Samaria as the central inheritance of the descendants of Joseph, specifically divided between the tribes of Ephraim and the half-tribe of Manasseh (west of the Jordan), as part of a double portion blessing.

The biblical foundation and context from which to come to this conclusion are found in the following passages.

  • Genesis 48:5, 19-20 — Jacob (Israel) adopted Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, as his own, giving them the status of tribes and ensuring they received the birthright share of the land.
  • Joshua 16:1–4 Defines the allotment for the “descendants of Joseph” (Ephraim and West Manasseh), tracing its borders from the Jordan near Jericho through the hill country.
  • Joshua 16:5–9 Specifically outlines the borders of the territory given to the tribe of Ephraim.
  • Obadiah 1:19 — Specifies that Israel will possess the fields of Ephraim and Samaria.
  • Joshua 15:1-12 — Details the boundaries of the land inheritance for the tribe of Judah, marking it as a protected southern area.

Israeli Expansion in Obadiah 1:19-20

Some, but not all, of the lands Israel will possess, as per Obadiah 1:19-20, have already been identified in this article. The full extent of the territories Obadiah allocates is displayed in the image.

“The South (Negev) shall possess the mountains of Esau, And the Lowland (Shephelah) shall possess Philistia. They shall possess the fields of Ephraim And the fields of Samaria. Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captives of this host of the children of Israel Shall possess the land of the Canaanites As far as Zarephath. The captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad Shall possess the cities of the South” (Obadiah 1:19-20).

Conclusion

In Genesis 15:18, the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.” This enormous amount of land is approximately 36 times the size of modern-day Israel, which measures about 8,630 square miles—an area roughly the size of New Jersey.

When Jesus Christ returns to establish His Messianic Kingdom during the Millennium, He will give all of this Promised Land to Israel, but as this article suggests, some of this land is already becoming sovereign to the Jewish state. In my book and DVD entitled The Future War Prophecies, I point out that Israel is about to annex Jordan, as per Jeremiah 49:2 and Zephaniah 2:8-9, as well as five cities in Egypt, according to Isaiah 19:16-18.

Thus, this pattern of Israel seizing the Holy Land appears to be just beginning.
