Donation Drive Feb to May

This is the first donation drive of 2024, and I hope this year will be the one where the Lord calls us home. The world has gotten so bad that praying for death in addition to the rapture is looking more reasonable with each passing day. If someone was a known believer, I no longer see the sadness in the news that he or she died peacefully in their sleep.

I recently was wondering if I was going to leave Earth ahead of the rapture. Over the past several months, I was suffering from symptoms that were rapidly getting worse by the day. I woke up one morning thinking the death process may have kicked in. I was in constant pain, taking three types of pain pills. I couldn’t remember some of the most basic functions of the site. I also had very low energy levels.

My body was so badly malfunctioning in my blood sugar and heart rate that I had to check into the local hospital for a couple of days. The hospital staff treated my symptoms quite well, but they couldn’t find the root cause.

It turns out I had a severe allergic reaction to a product I was taking to treat my insomnia. I’m not going to mention any drug names because I can’t remember them. I take five drugs each day, and I couldn’t name a single one. Only my doctor and Walgreens know my prescriptions. Walgreens is very good at tracking your refills, and it even has pictures of the pills.

I think we would be a thousand times better off if pharmaceutical firms just numbered their drugs. I read the drug name on a pill bottle, and it leaks out of my mind like water through a sieve.

Because I was taking a generic form of Ambien to help me sleep, many of my friends thought that this sleep aid was the source of my problems. I started cutting the pills in half to reduce the dosage, but the symptoms only continued to get worse. I even went cold turkey on “Ambien” for over a week with no positive result.

I thank God for the people who prayed for me because I don’t know how I focused on the true source of the problem. Once I figured out what was making me sick and stopped taking it, a week later, I had made a sudden recovery that was like night and day.

One of my mistakes was thinking I was taking too small of an amount of something to do me any harm. You can’t use the amount of a chemical you take as a dosage warning guide. The poison ivy oil that makes people break out into a rash could sit on the head of a pin.

I have a new respect for people who have an allergy to peanuts. I thought these folks were simply hypochondriacs. When I was a kid in elementary school, we had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches served all the time, and I don’t recall any student ever being rushed to the hospital for eating peanuts. We used to get peanuts on airplanes, but now crackers are the only snack option.

If any of you have an unexplained illness, you might try eliminating the stuff you consume one by one to possibly root out the source of your affliction. Because many people are wired differently with allergies, you can’t rely on a doctor to locate the source of your symptoms.

A few days ago, I was contacted by a worker at Google who was wondering why I had locked down my ad account. I told him it was because of his company’s discriminatory policy against Christians. Because he was from India, he had no idea what I was talking about. He was just eager to get his $3.50 per hour paycheck, and all the policy decisions were made back here in the States.

I have not spoken with anyone from Google who works in the US in about eight years. If a giant asteroid crashed into India, all the social media sites would suffer a complete meltdown.

After putting me on hold to check why we were having problems with Google, he came back to say our ads were being blocked because we were targeting non-Christians. A Bible vendor would probably like to sell Bibles to people who don’t own one. I have a wide collection of Bibles; if a salesman for the Good Book rang my doorbell, I’d tell him I’ve already got plenty of them.

I don’t know how he can get our ads to only go to the followers of the Christian religion. I’ve never had a questionnaire form that asked me if I accepted God, Buddha, or Satan as my Lord and Savior.

Swimming with Gators

Some time ago, I considered the title Swimming with Gators for a book I was thinking about writing. It would, in my imaginative stage of thoughts, be about politics in America, presented from an end-of-the-age Bible prophecy perspective. The subtitle I had in mind was Staying Alive in the DC Swamp.

I approached a Washington DC insider friend who worked within the US government in a relatively influential position. He liked the title and concept but didn’t at the time want to co-write that book. So the idea just sort of fizzled, as book ideas do more times than not.

Still, the title continued to effervesce and finally has emerged here as a commentary on the end-times stage-setting going on in our nation and around the world.

I guess Lot, Abraham’s nephew, during the days leading up to God’s judgment on the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, would say that he was ”vexed.” At least that’s what the Genesis account says about the only righteous man to be found in the cities at the time. The righteous Lot was, the Bible account says, “vexed from day to day” dwelling among that wicked citizenry.

So I hope this article’s title frames to some extent a similar sense of “vexation” for those of us who desire moral uprightness in our cities and our nation. I believe many do sense that we are surrounded by swamp creatures. Much of our government leadership seems to thrive in creating for the rest of us the kind of swamp-like conditions in which they so lustily swim.

Their jaws are lined with row after row of what I view to be anti-American executive orders and legislative and judicial avarice. They afflict our daily lives by taking self-serving bites out of constitutional governance inspired by God—who, our founders acknowledged, gave us inalienable rights.

It seems, though, that these “gators” we swim with aren’t content to merely deal treacherously with those who are morally upright—particularly with those with Christian values. The DC “swamp,” as it has become known, is determined to, as Barack Obama stated when he was a candidate for president of the United States, “fundamentally transform America.”

His perceived view of America found the nation as a wicked place born of slavery. He set about to change America into a Marxist-socialist model –a type of inculcation under which he was raised. Michelle Obama, the first lady, then told those she was visiting in foreign lands that she was for the first time proud of America –now that her husband was elected to fundamentally change the nation, I presume.

With that transformation underway with a vengeance, the swamp set about to open America’s borders, allowing illegal aliens to flow from every quarter of planet Earth –including young men of military-forces age from places in the Middle East and even from Red China. The year just past set all sorts of records in the illegal invasion of our southern borders. I heard a report that there are now more who have entered illegally just within the years of the Biden administration than entered legally through the migration process in more than sixty years. Perhaps this is the change Mr. Obama envisioned when he made his statement before becoming president.

There are those who applaud this administration’s open-borders policy and who champion a movement to tear down the Statue of Liberty – because, in their view, it represents xenophobia and a symbol of America’s bigoted, racially evil past.

But the even more egregious danger from the swamp creatures in DC, I believe, is viciously underway by the use of developing surveillance technologies being used in conjunction with judicial, third-world tactics to bring about an Orwellian transformation. The following excerpt of a piece dealing with this, I think, informs further.

“You had to live – did live, from habit that became instinct – in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized.” – George Orwell, 1984

Tread cautiously: the fiction of George Orwell has become an operation manual for the omnipresent, modern-day surveillance state.

It’s been 70 years since Orwell – dying, beset by fever and bloody coughing fits, and driven to warn against the rise of a society in which rampant abuse of power and mass manipulation are the norm – depicted the ominous rise of ubiquitous technology, fascism and totalitarianism in 1984.

Who could have predicted that 70 years after Orwell typed the final words to his dystopian novel, “He loved Big Brother,” we would fail to heed his warning and come to love Big Brother.

“To the future or to the past, to a time when thought is free, when men are different from one another and do not live alone – to a time when truth exists and what is done cannot be undone: From the age of uniformity, from the age of solitude, from the age of Big Brother, from the age of doublethink – greetings!”- George Orwell

1984 portrays a global society of total control in which people are not allowed to have thoughts that in any way disagree with the corporate state. There is no personal freedom, and advanced technology has become the driving force behind a surveillance-driven society. Snitches and cameras are everywhere. People are subject to the Thought Police, who deal with anyone guilty of thought crimes. The government, or “Party,” is headed by Big Brother, who appears on posters everywhere with the words: “Big Brother is watching you.”

We have arrived, way ahead of schedule, into the dystopian future dreamed up by not only Orwell but also such fiction writers as Aldous Huxley, Margaret Atwood and Philip K. Dick…

What once seemed futuristic no longer occupies the realm of science fiction.

Incredibly, as the various nascent technologies employed and shared by the government and corporations alike—facial recognition, iris scanners, massive databases, behavior prediction software, and so on—are incorporated into a complex, interwoven cyber network aimed at tracking our movements, predicting our thoughts and controlling our behavior, the dystopian visions of past writers is fast becoming our reality…

Surveillance cameras are everywhere. Government agents listen in on our telephone calls and read our emails. Political correctness—a philosophy that discourages diversity—has become a guiding principle of modern society. We are “swimming with gators” as surely as are our representatives we elect do just that. But the “gators” in the American government, as those within the WEF, UN, and all within the Ephesians 6:12 cabal of wickedness in high places are about to bite off more than they can chew.

The Lord Jesus Christ is going to at any moment intervene catastrophically, call all believers to Himself, then drain the swamp this world has become.

Here is how to go to Him when He calls believers to Himself.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10: 9-10).

Hoofbeats

I purchased Billy Graham’s book, Approaching Hoofbeats, not long after its publication in 1983. I cannot remember all that I thought as I read it forty years ago, but I know the book sparked hope regarding the nearness of the Rapture. As a young pastor at the time, I loved preaching about Bible prophecy and Jesus’ appearing.

As I recently skimmed its chapters, the stark differences between then and now leaped off the pages. Some of the signs that four decades ago seemed so indicative of the nearing Rapture pale by comparison to all that we see today.

The Antichrist Rides

It’s only been in the past six years or so that Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF) have come out of the shadows and revealed their true intentions to the world. They have invited the news media into their once-secret meetings and revealed their true intention to enslave the world under “Build Back Better,” which is a euphemism for their intent to create a Marxist, totalitarian world government.

I am definitely not suggesting that Klaus Schwab is the coming “man of lawlessness” as Paul describes in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10. However, he does provide an apt illustration of how the antichrist will gain control of our world under the cloak of promoting peace.

By 1983, I had heard of a group called the “trilateralists” who were pushing for a one-world government at the time. Today, however, the emerging framework for the type of world domination that we read about in the book of Revelation is front and center for everyone to see, yet so few are paying attention to the nearness of the time when the white horse will ride across the earth.

The Threat of Nuclear War

In Approaching Hoofbeats, Evangelist Billy Graham wrote about the threat of a devastating nuclear war, which was a major concern at the time. Today, however, this danger has reached the point where most analysts believe it’s likely to occur in the next few years.

Citing the significant risk for a nuclear war, a group called “The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists” made headlines on January 23, 2024, by resetting their Doomsday Clock back to ninety seconds before midnight. Below is a quote from their latest press release under a section titled “The Many Dimensions of Nuclear Threat:”

A durable end to Russia’s war in Ukraine seems distant, and the use of nuclear weapons by Russia in that conflict remains a serious possibility. In February 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to “suspend” the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START). In March, he announced the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. In June, Sergei Karaganov, an advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, urged Moscow to consider launching limited nuclear strikes on Western Europe as a way to bring the war in Ukraine to a favorable conclusion.

Today’s world is exceedingly more dangerous than it was in 1983. The prospect of a nuclear war was a possibility back then; now it’s become a matter of when rather than if.

Economic Peril

In January of this year, the national debt level of the United States reached $34 trillion, and by the end of the month, it stood at an astounding 34.1 trillion. With the announcement came the prediction that by March, this number would exceed $35 trillion.

In 1983, the debt reached $1.377 trillion. The current number is not only unsustainable for the future, but it also tells us that the black horse (Revelation 6:5- 6) will soon ride across America and the entire world. The current debt level in America will surely bring economic catastrophe.

The Lord’s restraining hand is the only reason the world has not yet experienced the worst inflation in its history. Twelve years ago, I read books by economic experts who predicted imminent doom for the U.S. economy. Their reasoning was entirely sound but for the patience of the Lord, allowing more time for people to come to faith in Him and thus escape the wrath of the Day of the Lord.

The Pale Horse

A radio interviewer last year asked me if I thought the riders of the Apocalypse were already active in our world. I replied with a firm “no.” First, I’m convinced the Rapture will happen before the Lord Jesus releases the Seal Judgments as recorded in Revelation 6. Second, although there’s violence, pestilence, and a substantial number of deaths occurring in our current world, the totals fall far short of the horrific conditions described in connection with the hoofbeats of the pale horse.

Revelation 6:7-8 says that “over a fourth of the earth” will perish as the result of Jesus opening the Seals. Even considering the disappearance of people at Jesus’ appearing, that’s still a vast number that will likely exceed one and a half billion people. The total death toll that resulted from WWII, which some place as high as seventy-five million, is horrific, of course, but it pales in comparison to what lies ahead.

The time is rapidly approaching when the world will see the fulfillment of all that John both witnessed and wrote about in Revelation 6:1-8. The Bible says that sudden destruction will overwhelm the world after the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11).

Though dreadful for those who will hear the hoofbeats in the future, the nearing of this time tells us that Jesus’ appearing is ever so close. We will be in Heaven before Jesus opens the seal judgments described in Revelation 6.

During an interview on Jan. 24, 2024, an Israeli official, Nir Barkat, a man that some think will replace Benjamin Netanyahu, said:

  • “Jihadists want to kill all non-Muslims. We may be first in line, but we are all in the same line. They call Israel Little Satan, and Big Satan is the US, and everyone else is in the middle.”

Barkat was talking about the fact that Muslims are taught that they have been tasked with converting the world to Islam (even if they must kill all non-Muslims).

He identified three groups of people that Muslims want to kill: 1) The Little Satan (Jews), 2) The Big Satan (U.S. citizens), and 3) All other non-Muslims.

Muslims believe they are at war with these three groups of people, and there can be no peace on earth until all of them are wiped out or forcibly converted to Islam.

Muslims worship on Friday, and some even say after we (the Friday people) destroy the Saturday people (Jews worship on Saturday), we will destroy the Sunday people (Christians worship on Sunday).

Islam is more than a threat to the Jews; it is a threat to every non-Muslim on earth.

Thank God for promising that Israel can never be destroyed.

Barkat added:

  • “We should very, very clearly make sure the Iranians understand that they will not get away with using proxies against Israel and sleep good at night if we don’t sleep good at night.”

He was talking about the fact that Iran is using proxies (at this time, some are calling Iran’s best-known proxies the three Hs of terrorism: Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis).

Iran is financing and arming others, but the three Hs are a particular danger at this time.

Barkat said:

  • “Iran is a legitimate target for Israel. They will not get away with it. The head of the snake is Tehran. My recommendation is to adopt the strategy that President Kennedy used in the Cuban missile crisis. What he basically said then was a missile from Cuba will be answered with a missile to Moscow.”

He was warning Iran (the head of the snake) that payday is coming, and he was suggesting that attacks on Israel by Iranian proxies should be met by attacks on Iran by Israel.

Bible prophecy teachers (even Jewish prophecy teachers) know that the Bible teaches that Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others will attack Israel in the latter years and latter days, and the attack is called the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39).

Whether Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others attack Israel first or their attack is the result of Israel attacking Iran first is not known, but this is a warning to the head of the snake: Iran’s use of proxies makes Iran a legitimate target for Israel.

Here are recent articles that seem to indicate that history is approaching or has reached the latter years and latter days.

One, concerning a peace treaty in the Middle East, the division of Israel, and the Battle of Armageddon: on Jan. 23, 2024, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres told the UN Security Council:

  • Israel’s conflict with the Palestinians has become a major threat to global peace and security (sometimes translated peace and safety).
  • Israel’s rejection of a two-state solution is unacceptable.

The globalist rejection of the Bible and their desire to establish a godless world government will take the world right into the Tribulation Period.

Two, concerning world government: on Jan. 25, 2024, Prophecy News Watch posted an article by Ben Johnson that originally appeared in The Washington Stand titled “The 7 Most Outrageous Moments of the World Economic Forum” (a globalist meeting Jan. 15-19, 2024).

Here is Johnson’s list of the most outrageous moments (or things the WEF wants).

  • A godless pagan ritual that called upon a shaman to heal planet Earth.
  • A digital ID to track everything you do (including your finances, vaccinations, travel, etc.).
  • A global tax to finance world government.
  • A way to force media (X, Facebook, Internet postings, etc.) to silence sources that criticize the globalist agenda (a way to force others to end freedom of speech so the globalists are not blamed).
  • A way to keep leaders out of office (especially Trump), and to prevent leaders that are in office from interfering with world government (a way to force leaders to do what the globalists want instead of what the people want).
  • Power for the World Health Organization to put restrictions on nations during potential crises or pandemics.
  • Allow a limited amount of pushback.

Three, concerning world government: a reader sent me a short screenshot from a recent J.D. Farag sermon that shows the schedule for dozens of international meetings and a countdown clock that shows how many years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds the world has to meet the 17 “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals.

The 17 goals went into effect on Jan. 1, 2016, and in essence, they are a plan to transform the world into a world government in 14 years (2016 to 2030 = 14 years).

Four, concerning the surrender of U.S. sovereignty and the decline of America: on Jan 25, 2024, Gateway Pundit posted an article by an unidentified contributor who suggested that the Biden administration has created two Americas: one for legal citizens that are required to obey rules and regulations, and the other for illegal aliens who are not required to obey rules and regulations.

(My opinion: The fact that the Biden administration has different rules and regulations for legal citizens and illegal aliens is undeniable.)

(More: Biden wants members of the House of Representatives to agree to some new laws on illegals entering the U.S. On Jan. 26, 2024, House Speaker Mike Johnson said, “Many of our constituents have asked an important question, “What is the point of negotiating new laws with an administration that will not enforce the laws already on the books? If President Biden wants us to believe he is serious about protecting our national sovereignty, he needs to demonstrate his good faith by taking immediate actions to secure it. He should sign an order right now to end the mass release of illegals and dangerous persons into our country.”)

Five, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity (like birth pains) of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Jan. 25, 2024, it was reported that some areas of Texas and Louisiana had received a month’s rain in 3 days.

Areas that normally get about 3 inches per month reported 14 inches, 10 inches, etc.

According to the article, heavy rain near the Gulf of Mexico is common, but “experts say climate change is increasing the severity and frequency ( intensity and frequency) of such heavy rainfall events.”

Six, concerning a rebuilt Temple: last week, I mentioned that a Hamas spokesman was interviewed on TV on Jan. 14, 2024 (it was a video that was played on TV), and the Hamas spokesman seemed to say, “Hamas started the Israel-Hamas war to stop the Jews from sacrificing a Red Heifer and rebuilding the Temple.”

On Jan. 26, 2024, there was a more extensive article, and here are a few points (in my words) about what the Hamas spokesman said:

  • The Hamas leaders believe there is a religious reawakening in Israel that will lead to the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.
  • Hamas attributes this religious reawakening partly to the fact that the Jews now have Red Heifers that can be sacrificed.
  • The spokesman called the teaching about Red Heifers a legend that is rooted in Mishnah texts.
  • Hamas also believes the problem is greater than religious Jews believing a legend.
  • That is because the Israeli government is moving away from its claim to be a secular government; it is becoming more conservative, and it is showing an eagerness to work with the Jews who want to sacrifice a Red Heifer and rebuild the Temple.

The writer of the article pointed out that many Jews (also Christians, including many pastors) do not understand the connection between the Red Heifers and a rebuilt Temple, but many Arabs get it.

(My opinion: The Jews could possibly sacrifice a Red Heifer as soon as Apr. 22, 2024 – Passover on the Jewish calendar – if the Israeli government lets them. To do so will risk a major war. Sacrificing a Red Heifer will produce the ashes, but it does not necessarily mean the Jews will immediately cleanse priests and start rebuilding the Temple. Time will tell, but Apr. 22 will be here in three months.)

(My opinion: Biden’s efforts to remove Netanyahu from office are forcing Netanyahu to rely on the religious parties to hold his government together, and this could increase the possibility that he will permit them to sacrifice a Red Heifer and rebuild the Temple.)

(One more thing: Many religious Jews believe the Messiah will give them permission to rebuild the Temple. Jesus told a group of Jews, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive” (Jn 5:43). Some excellent prophecy teachers believe this verse means they rejected the Christ, but they will accept the Antichrist. If this is right, it could mean the Temple will be rebuilt early in the Tribulation Period. That could mean the Rapture is remarkably close.)

Seven, concerning the rise of a godless world government and persecution: a recently unearthed video shows gay atheist, Yuval Noah, a senior advisor in the WEF, saying, “Human rights are just like Heaven, and like God – it’s just a fictional story that we’ve invented and spread around.”

He is saying there are no human rights and there is no God.

Here is a daily update on some of the events related to the war.

Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024 (Day 110): The fifty-fifth day of the resumed war.

  • In response to Iranian-backed terrorists firing rockets and missiles at U.S. bases in Iraq, U.S. jets struck 3 Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed groups in Iraq.
  • The U.S. struck 2 Houthi sites in Yemen that were preparing to launch anti-ship missiles before the Houthis could fire the missiles.
  • Israel reported that troops found a tunnel about 65 feet deep that connected the northern and southern parts of Gaza. It was investigated and destroyed.
  • Israeli protestors blocked trucks with humanitarian aid from entering Gaza and said they will continue to do so until the hostages are released.

Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 (Day 111): The fifty-sixth day of the resumed war.

  • Several South African banks and individuals are providing substantial amounts of money to Hamas. South Africa is accusing Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice. Israel needs to accuse South Africa of genocide for its part in funding the death of Jews and others on Oct. 7, 2023.
  • Israel struck Iranian and Hezbollah forces at an airbase in Lebanon.
  • Israel reported capturing more than 100 Hamas terrorists in the last 36 hours.
  • Amir Tsarfati said Israel has killed or disabled about 60% of the Hamas fighters.
  • According to Israel’s 1979 peace treaty with Egypt, the border between Egypt and Gaza is supposed to be demilitarized, but Israel contends that Hamas is smuggling weapons under the demilitarized zone (which Egypt denies). Israel says it must take control of the border (a violation of the treaty) to stop the flow of weapons to Hamas, and that is creating a rift between Egypt and Israel.

Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 (Day 112): The fifty-seventh day of the resumed war.

  • The UN International Court of Justice ordered Israel “to do all it can to prevent death, destruction and any acts of genocide in its military offensive in Gaza, but stopped short of ordering a cease-fire.” Prime Min. Netanyahu called in a “mark of shame” (on the court) and said, “We will continue to do what is necessary to defend our country and defend our people. Like every country, Israel has the basic right to defend itself.”
  • Israeli protestors blocked trucks with humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for third day in a row.
  • The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said it had severed ties with 12 employees suspected of being involved in the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel. The U.S. has notified the UN that it is temporarily pausing funding to the UNRWA until this issue is addressed.
  • Israeli troops are involved in intense fighting at several locations in Khan Younis.
  • Israel’s ambassador to the UN said the UN is weaponized to physically exterminate us (Jews).

Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 (Day 113): The fifty-eighth day of the resumed war.

  • Netanyahu told the Israeli people, “There is no alternative to total victory over Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
  • Iran-backed militias launched a drone attack on a U.S. base in Jordan, killed 3 U.S. troops, and injured dozens more. Biden said the U.S. will respond at a time and in the manner of our choosing.

Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 (Day 114): The fifty-ninth day of the resumed war.

  • Israel is now battling Hamas in south Gaza.
  • Efforts to broker a ceasefire are promising, but serious problems remain.

Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 (Day 115): The sixtieth day of the resumed war.

  • Deadly fighting is raging in Gaza.
  • Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded when Hezbollah fired heavy rockets into Israel. The IDF retaliated immediately.
  • At least 12 nations have temporarily stopped funding the UNRWA because some of its UN employees helped Hamas attack Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
  • Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan have agreed that there must be major changes in the PA if they are to govern Gaza after the war.
  • Hamas launched a barrage of rockets into Israel.

Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 (Day 116): The sixty-first day of the resumed war.

  • Netanyahu said Israel will not end the war without eliminating Hamas.
  • Hamas said they will not release the hostages until Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip, and Netanyahu said Israel will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip.

Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 (Day 117): The sixty-second day of the resumed war.

  • Israel demanded that UN Sec. Gen. Guterres resign because some UNRWA employees participated in the Hamas attack on Israel.
  • A bill has been introduced in Congress to permanently block the U.S. from giving money to the UNRWA.
  • This week, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken will return to the Middle East for urgent meetings to push for the release of more hostages and a ceasefire.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
