Donation Drive May To August

Not long ago, during a conversation with a friend, the topic of Bible prophecy came up, and he shared a distressing incident involving a prophetic ministry. Apparently, this ministry has been facing scrutiny from the IRS regarding their methods of income generation. The IRS contended that since the majority of their income comes from book and DVD sales, the organization functions more like a business akin to Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

It is highly inappropriate for the IRS to intrude upon the financial affairs of any Christian ministry. Unless there were serious allegations of illegal activity, there was no justification for the government to target an organization solely dedicated to spreading the gospel message. We crossed a treacherous boundary when law enforcement was permitted to enter churches during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure compliance with medical guidelines. Granting the state the power to oversee religious institutions brings us dangerously close to the brink of tyranny.

For many years, several of our viewers on PC computers have had trouble viewing the content of Rapture Ready. The screen resolution would cause many of the articles to take up two lines. On PCs running Windows 10, two very popular screen resolutions that give viewers problems are 1600 x 900 and 1366 x 768. The two resolutions that solve the problem are 1680 x 1050 and 1920 x 1080.

Windows 11 has largely fixed this problem, which amounts to about 50% of the PC market. Windows 7 has many issues, but only around 6% of PCs still use this version. Since smartphones hold 50% of the viewing market, the problem with Windows 10 is only experienced by around 10% of RR’s visitors.

A couple of months ago, I was doing a massive cleanout of my computer files, and I came across an article from 2004 where I listed some of the media organizations that have done articles about RR. The actual number is in the hundreds, but here are a few that stand out:

Mother Jones
Australian TV
Air America Radio
Germany’s RTL Network
Cinema 36
The Guardian
The Village Voice
Dutch TV
BBC Channel 1
BBC Channel 4
Playboy Magazine
The New York Times
Time Magazine
Rolling Stone
The Daily Show with Jon Steward
The Daily Mail
Daily Kos

The one from Daily Kos was oddly comical because it showed a cartoon that had left behind folks rejoicing over the rapture. One caption bubble said, “Yippee! All the religious whackos are gone!” Another said, “At last, we’re free!”

When Tim LaHaye started the Left Behind series in 1995, he was largely responsible for getting the rapture into the public consciousness. I don’t recall the year, but I remember seeing the clear definition of the pre-tribulation first being mentioned by Newsweek Magazine.

A majority of the population may have heard of the word “rapture,” but most of them still don’t understand what it means. Hayes Brown is a writer and editor for MSNBC, and he recently spoke of a “rapture moment” saving the American people from Donald Trump. On the same network, a reporter said that Nikki Haley is staying in the race because she is hoping for the rapture.

I’m sure that MSNBC doesn’t think the former president is a saint who will be snatched away by Jesus, and Satan’s child Haley would have the Republican field to herself. One can only wonder why the godless liberal media would reference the rapture.

We live in a very strange time where general awareness of key prophetic terms has never been so widely understood. However, a detailed understanding of prophecy is at a historic low. It’s been at least 100 years since we’ve had such a drought of best-selling books on end-time events. This current scenario is a perfect description of the “think not” generation that Jesus warned would precede His return.

I’ve always operated under the assumption that the general functions of Rapture Ready are self-evident. I finally decided to list a breakdown of the key goals of the site:

General objectives:

In today’s digital age, the power of information and connectivity has become more crucial than ever. Our site stands as a beacon of knowledge fostering learning, collaboration, and growth. By supporting our site, you contribute to a vibrant online community that empowers individuals, promotes understanding, and paves the way for the Lord’s return.

A Wealth of Knowledge:

RR is a treasure trove of information covering a vast array of topics. We have several mirror sites that we hope will ensure that this invaluable knowledge remains accessible to all, nurturing curiosity and fostering biblical growth that can be shared with fellow believers.

Collaborative Learning:

Our site thrives on the principles of collaboration and shared learning. It serves as a platform where experts, enthusiasts, and learners from various fields come together to share their knowledge and experiences. By supporting our site, you encourage this culture of free collaboration that most Christian ministries severely lack.

Empowering Communities:

Communities are the building blocks of society, and our site is dedicated to nurturing and empowering them. By supporting us, you contribute to the growth and well-being of these communities. There are 80 million evangelical believers in America who often find their ability to access end-time information controlled by a small group of leftists.

Adapting to Changing Needs:

Our site is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and societal shifts. We continuously innovate to meet the evolving needs of our users and to guarantee our relevance in a fast-changing world. By supporting our site, you help us maintain our struggle against social media giants that wish to exclude us from the web.

Spreading the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ is the most important and lasting mission of all believers. Because we only see numbers, it is easy to lose sight of our impact. Our highest goal is to someday hear from the Lord, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

There are three ways you can contribute to RR: You can send a financial gift via our P.O. Box address, you can make a one-time donation, or there is a frequent option that allows you to make monthly donations. If you’re interested in signing up, find the input links on the Donation Depot page. Donations can be sent to our P.O. Box at:
