Associated Press (AP) was among the first to report that Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken wants Israel to halt military operations against Hamas because “Far too many Palestinians have been killed.”
AP was also among the first to send pictures of the Hamas-conducted holocaust against Israeli Jews on October 7. AP keeps repeating Hamas Health Ministry estimates that over 11,000 people in Gaza have been killed while over 1,400 Israelis were killed on October 7, “mainly in the initial Hamas attack.”
AP didn’t reveal that its reporters were with Hamas in that attack, nor does it report that the Health Ministry is a propaganda arm of Hamas. And its comparison of death tolls is not subtle. But it is outrageous. Here’s why.
Honest Reporting, a media watchdog, blew the whistle on AP and Reuters for having embedded journalists with Hamas on October 7. Honest Reporting said,
“On October 7, Hamas terrorists were not the only ones who documented the war crimes they had committed during their deadly rampage across southern Israel. Some of their atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies whose early morning presence at the breached border area raises serious ethical questions.”
It sure does, as these so-called “journalists” were in plain clothes without outward press identification. They had to know in advance but didn’t warn authorities of the attack. This means that these news organizations could well have supported, aided, and abetted the atrocities of October 7. But it is much deeper.
It’s long been the terrorists’ strategy to interweave their operations among civilian organizations and the news media so that when retaliation for their attacks commences, innocents are harmed or killed. Then, instead of terrorists being blamed, there is international outrage about how the poor “Palestinians” are being murdered by evil Israelis. The evil actions of the terrorists are then essentially justified. The media is complicit.
On May 12, 2021, Israel flattened the building that housed AP, al Jazeera, and other news reporting organizations in Gaza. On cue, the media started shaping the narrative that the terrible Israelis bombed the building, causing journalists to run for their lives. AP’s story claimed total innocence of any knowledge that the building was used as a headquarters for Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Journalists covering these terrorists cannot reasonably claim they didn’t know the terrorists’ plans—they are headquartered in the same building! That the media were sharing quarters with Hamas explains the anti-Israel news bias emanating from these news outlets.
These terrorists are evil. They use children, women, journalists, whoever, to hide behind while they do their evil deeds. And when someone gets hurt, there is an international outcry, while the terrorists get little criticism from the media. And when the media are caught, they say, “I didn’t know that.”
Yes, they did. There is blood on their hands. These media should be blackballed and their credentials revoked.
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.”
That includes the media, politicians who are complicit with them, and those demonstrating in the streets for Hamas.
