Dispensationalism in the Age of Corporate Wokeness :: By Pete Garcia

“If something is not true, then it’s not real. And if it’s not real, then it doesn’t work.” – Pastor Ken Ortize

Part I

LinkedIn is like the Facebook of the corporate world, albeit with some major exceptions. First, an almost unwritten rule of discussion is to avoid at all costs the conversational taboos of religion and politics. Secondly, you’re on there to network and find a job, so almost everyone tries to remain complimentary, and it feels every bit as much as a corporate dating website where you “sell” yourself as the next best thing since sliced bread. Lastly, you couldn’t swing a dead cat (not that I advocate swinging dead cats-just a figure of speech) without hitting 15 Fortune 500 Companies explicitly touting how multicultural, diverse, and inclusive they are these days. This isn’t just Coca-Cola or Goodyear, but almost all airlines, major defense companies, the military, and basically every business, school, and corporation.

The political correctness has gotten so out of hand and lopsided on LinkedIn that you feel sort of slimy after spending about 15-20 minutes on there. I always feel like I need a shower afterward.

Corporate “wokeness” has taken over this once professional site like an annoying computer virus releasing an endless stream of pop-up ads. Corporate wokeness should be synonymous with corporate suicide because the phrase “go woke, go broke” is not just a threat; it is a real thing. However, these multi-billion-dollar corporations are jumping on board the “woke-train” like Lemmings racing to see who could get to the cliff first. It is the most bizarre thing to watch these once Titans of Industry prostrate themselves in absolute surrender to the politically correct, effeminate new castrati of Cultural Marxism.

It began several years ago with the NFL caving to self-serving kneeling during the National Anthem by an average-to-bad San Francisco quarterback. Now, all sports are kneeling in allegiance to Black Lives Matter (BLM). Even the redneck bastion of NASCAR got on the BLM woke-train. They are even going to permit national anthem protests at this summer’s Olympic Games in Japan, which seems the height of irony. It didn’t matter that the actual BLM groups could give two hoots about actual black lives. All they cared about is promoting their Marxist ideology and destroying the nation from the inside out.

It was all about the theater of virtue signaling.

The truth is, more blacks are killed by other blacks in Chicago for one year than have been killed by cops (of all colors) in ten years. The truth is, the Democrat Party was the party of the Confederacy, as well as the party of Jim Crow. The truth is, more black babies are killed by abortion than any other race (as Margaret Sanger originally intended it to be). The truth is, if athletes REALLY cared about the causes they supposedly want to champion, they’d kneel when it mattered most – like right before a touchdown, or before a layup, or before crossing the finish line, rather than at a pre-game event when watching it was optional.

(As an aside, I wonder how long the team owners would support this wokeness if their players actually protested at the most critical points rather than when it didn’t cost them anything.)

All the kneeling and theatrics by these millionaire athletes did manage to alienate a huge portion of their fan base, but it didn’t matter. There were still enough socially unaware American’s who didn’t care about the imagery or the ridiculousness of the whole thing and just wanted to keep watching football (or baseball, basketball, etc.). The owners and stakeholders figured that they could get on board the woke train for a season, and then things would eventually settle down and go back to the way they were. But it’s not going away. It’s just drawing new victim groups to come in and protest their own causes.

Next came the LGBTQA+etc.etc. kneeling. Let me rephrase; the corporations began kneeling to these special interest groups like penitent priests. Target began offering gender-free bathrooms. Schools and state governments began dictating which gender pronouns we can use and which we can’t. Schools began allowing biological males to compete in female sports and vice versa (although somewhat disadvantageous for the latter). Then came Drag Queen Story hours at Public Libraries. Recently, Arkansas had to pass legislation to prevent gender reassignment surgeries and other permanent, life-changing procedures from being administered on children.

And this is controversial?

Really?

Children who aren’t old enough to feed themselves, work, vote, and live on their own, or about a million other things, primarily because they lack the experience and mental ability to make those kinds of choices, are now supposed to be able to permanently mutilate their bodies?

Really?

And this is controversial?

Furthermore, if you spoke up against children being exposed to explicit gay sex in textbooks or Drag Queen story hours, somehow you were an intolerant homophobe?

If you were a Christian and refused to participate in a gay wedding, you got slapped with a never-ending series of lawsuits because somehow your reserving the right to refuse service doesn’t apply to Christian owners? Funny how these militant homosexuals never seem to target Muslim business owners who would just as quickly tell them to pound sand.

We have Coca-Cola attacking whiteness. Delta, Coca-Cola, JPMorgan, and Major League Baseball are attacking the state of Georgia for having the audacity to put in some much-needed safety protocols for voting (after the 2020 debacle). Disney+ is kicking off movie stars if they are conservative. Twitter, Google, and Facebook have been steamrolling and silencing conservative and Christian voices for the past few years.

Still, it seems everywhere you turn, corporate America is racing to see who can commit fiscal suicide first. It makes zero sense to alienate your base only to appease a tiny, violent fringe group from whom you make zero $$$. Yet, corporate America is rolling over and giving up their back (think Jujitsu) to the weaker and clearly unhinged, effeminate attackers.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of examples over the past few years where this mass hysteria in political correctness has not only taken root but taken over entire industries. It’s as if we no longer have a Bill of Rights but a bunch of disconnected and ill-conceived corporate clauses that can deny service to anyone who disagrees with them – even a President (unless you’re a Christian business owner).

The once-powerful engine that powered America through the Industrial Age, defeated Communism, won the Space Race and the Cold War, is now backtracking as quickly as possible to resurrect Communism here in the USA. CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and all the other big wigs are now too terrified to stand up or speak out, even if it cost them billions of dollars and millions of customers. They are terrified that someone might call them a racist or homophobe. Terrified that MSNBC, CNN, or the New York Times might run a hit piece on them. Terrified that they won’t be lumped in with those deplorable Neanderthals. Oh, the humanity!

Part II

In his book, Infinite Game, Simon Sinek sites five pillars that help someone transition from being finite-minded to becoming infinite-minded. In a finite game, there are winners and losers, such as in chess or football. In a finite game, you can be “number one.”

In an infinite game, however, although you can lose the game by quitting, there is no way to win it; you can only win per se by continuing to play the game (for example – a marriage or business). One of the pillars he sites for being infinite-minded is having a just cause.

A just cause, as he defines it, “is a specific vision of a future state that does not yet exist; a future state so appealing that people are willing to make sacrifices in order to help advance toward that vision.” People who are infinite-minded can sell a vision and get others to buy into this vision and bring them along on the journey to wherever it is they are trying to get to. Granted, that vision could be a positive influence on society (ex. Apple iPhones) or a very negative one (as in the case of the late “Reverend” Jim Jones’ Guyana tropical paradise of Jonestown).

It is of interest to me to read a book by Sinek, whom we have zero inklings about his religious affiliation, as to this idea of the infinite mind. There is nothing in humanity, nay, the universe, which is actually infinite, apart from God. Yet, there are truths that he is tapping into because they speak to this mindset that transcends the present and looks at the long game.

Christians, of all people, should be known as the ‘infinite-minded’ people because we worship a God who is infinite in every regard. Yet, why have so many churches become so finite-minded? Why are churches, like corporations, jumping onboard the very recent and very bizarre, politically correct woke-train? Is it because they just want to remain culturally relevant in a culture bent on suiciding itself?

Or is there something more nefarious afoot?

Clearly, Satan is hard at work to destroy Christendom; that is nothing new. But what is new is the degree to which churches are jumping onboard. Could this be the ‘falling away’ the Apostle Paul wrote about in his second epistle to the Thessalonians? As Christians, our just cause is the coming Kingdom.

Make no mistake, the Kingdom is neither here in its physical manifestation (much to the chagrin of the Roman Catholic Church), nor is it some ideological pie in the sky fantasy land (much to the chagrin of Idealists). The King is coming, and He is bringing His Kingdom with Him to physically rule and reign on this earth.

Part III

“First, they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me.” – Martin Niemöller

Dispensationalists often get accused of being so heavenly-minded that we are no earthly good. It is true, at times, that Dispensationalists, as opposed to the more militant-minded Post-Millenialists and Tribulationists, or the earthly-minded Amillennialists, take a more laissez-faire approach to the goings-on of this world. It’s not that we don’t care or that we want to be martyred under a tyrannical, socialist government. We just take the Bible seriously.

By doing so, we know how this all ends.

Our “just cause” is advancing a Kingdom that is not yet here. We are passionate about bringing as many people on board ‘the Ark’ with us as possible because a flood of judgment is coming. This judgment will sweep over the entire world, and its 21+ judgments will wash away all the sin and rot that has been a mainstay in creation since Adam and Eve’s fall. Thus, watching the prophetic tides washing upon the shores of our age is just as inevitable as watching the ocean tides hit the beach.

Since Dispensationalists are just about the only remaining remnant who not only watch the times for our Lord’s return but accurately understand how all these things are to play out (and what our response is to be), it makes us doubly offensive to the world and to those who do not want the Kingdom to come.

From our perspective, we can no more stop prophecy from coming to pass than we could stop the ocean waves from hitting the sandy shores. Those who are trying to stop it, or change its direction, are like those who stand on the beach and scoop the water away with their hands. Even if we had a thousand, or a million hands with us, we couldn’t stop the tide from coming in any more than we can stop or delay Bible prophecy from coming to pass.

From the world’s perspective, the Dispensationalists are akin to those members of the Flat Earth Society. We are relegated to the fringe edges of accepted norms. We talk about things like the Rapture or Christ returning at the Second Coming, and from their perspective, we might as well be saying that Emperor Zig-Zag Zorg from the Nebula galaxy was arriving on pink flying turtles. They have completely removed us from the public arena of ideas, so much so that if we even dared speak out, we would lose our jobs, our reputations, and possibly, everything else.

In terms of American civil liberties, we are watching those rapidly erode in the age of cancel culture and political correctness faster than we could have ever anticipated. But it is no surprise. We Dispensationalists, of all people, knew those had to erode and that the US would lose its standing as the world’s preeminent superpower because the Bible makes no mention of a nation like the United States. And for those of us who have already long been censored and silenced, first by the seminaries, then the pulpits of a growing majority of churches, and then in the public arena of ideas, the rest of America is finally catching up to where we’ve already been for decades. I suppose it is less shocking for us to see it since they came for us first.

Part IV- Conclusion

Start Quote: “A lack of civil courage was as much to blame for Hitler’s rise as uncritical adoration by his supporters. The Nazis came to power using lies and dishonest means. They had suffered serious reverses in the 1932 Reichstag elections. If industrialists and bankers had withdrawn their support, the Nazis may have imploded. Instead, their sustained election campaigns gave the illusion that they were popular, strong, and well-funded.

Many Germans lacked enthusiasm for Hitler but hoped for an end to the economic chaos and violence between rival political parties since their defeat in World War I. Life wasn’t easy. Many apartment blocks were unheated. Hot water bottles were taken to bed, and in the morning, the lukewarm water was used for washing. Communal bathrooms were common, with no toilet paper. Clothes were washed with a washboard and bristle brush once a month.

Once Hitler persuaded the elderly President Hindenburg to appoint him chancellor, the Nazis immediately clamped down on universities, Catholics, and government offices, disbanded trade unions, began indoctrinating children to turn them against their parents, and supplanting religion with neo-pagan worship, deifying Hitler. They burned books because they feared anything that encouraged people to think for themselves and question what was happening. Ballot papers on the national referendum on reoccupation of the Rhineland were numbered with invisible ink. Those who voted against reoccupation were arrested.

Robert Ley, the leader of the Nazi Labour Front, stated, “Our state … does not let a man go free from the cradle to the grave. We start our work when the child is three … and do not let them go until they die, whether they like it or not.” End Quote (Source: Why Did Germany Allow Hitler?) (Emphasis mine)

Had the 1930’s “industrialists and bankers,” presumably the predecessors of our now politically correct technocracy and corporate boards of 2020, not supported Hitler, the Third Reich would have died a much-deserved death and been relegated to the dustbin of history. But because they did financially prop up Hitler and the Nazi party, the Third Reich, the Holocaust, and World War II became our history. Is it any stretch to believe that our future is playing out even now, like the early 1930s, where Big Brother is standing up and flexing his transgendered muscles to silence and muzzle normal citizens here in the land of the free and home of the brave?

The Corporate world, no matter how well-intended, is fighting with a finite mindset, for the here and now, to remain relevant. They aren’t fighting the long game while simultaneously committing fiscal suicide; they’re fighting, like most of the Republican Party, to keep the status quo. They have the money and the power, and they are fighting to keep it. And yet, they will lose everything because they (like the German industrialists and bankers) allowed cannibalistic cancer to grow in the midst of their boardrooms and society. It will turn on them and eat them alive like a zombie horde.

To the rub: In all this wokeness-propaganda, you know, it’s not really about believing men can be women or that women can be men. It’s not about truly believing that homosexuality is normal. It’s not about believing that abortion is really a form of healthcare.

I promise you, it’s not.

It is EVERYTHING about getting you to cave on what you believe objective truth to be. It is about getting you to set aside your ability to reason and use common-sense, and to accept their version of the truth, regardless of how absurd their truth is. Because if they can get you to acquiesce and mentally kneel in submission to something as asinine as swapping genders, they can get you to believe ANYTHING. The truth is, men are men, and women are women. There have only ever been two genders. Jesus (God in the flesh) stated in Matthew 19:4 that there were only two genders. So it is the height of both irony and hypocrisy for those who try to cite examples of hermaphrodites or other oddities as normal, because the rare times it actually happens in nature defies their own arguments. It is this rarity that would be like arguing why conjoined twins are the norm, and why everyone should find someone they can be surgically attached to and then accepting that as the new normal.

Those who argue that gender is somehow fluid are silent when it comes to arguing why age or ethnicity aren’t as equally fluid. Because at a certain point, if anyone can be anything, then we don’t have a society anymore; we would have absolute anarchy with everyone pretending to be anything. Furthermore, they aren’t arguing with me; they are arguing (foolishly) with God.

Homosexuality, like other forms of abhorrent behavior, has been a mainstay in human history since at least the days of Sodom and Gomorrah (circa 2000 BC). The fact that it has been around a long time doesn’t make it right or normal (like child sacrifice isn’t right or normal); it just highlights our fallen, sinful, and depraved nature of humanity. Abortion is prematurely ending the life of a sentient being – IOW, it is murdering a human being in the womb. Healthcare is about preserving or extending life, not prematurely ending it. Thus, abortion, by its very nature, is not healthcare. As for it being a choice, it seems there are two humans involved in this decision – one who is making all the choices, and the other who is (without consent) on the receiving end of all those choices. Thus, it is no longer a choice, but force.

Again, it’s not about getting you to believe things that are absurd on their face as real; it’s about getting you to set aside your ability to reason and instead accept a delusion. Satan knows his time is short, and he is ramping up an all-out effort to convert this world over as much as possible before the Rapture of the Church turns it on its head.

As Dispensationalists, we are not only Pre-Millennial but Pre-Tribulation believers in the Rapture of the Church. What this means is that the Church (the universal, corporate body of born-again believers) will be removed from the earth prior to the start of the 70th Week of Daniel (aka the Tribulation). Furthermore, by removing the Church, God the Holy Spirit, who was sent to seal the Church until the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30), will be removed (or set aside) as well.

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged” (John 16:7-11).

Now, if the Holy Spirit (the Helper, Comforter, and Restrainer) is sent to the earth, He can also be recalled from these roles. The Holy Spirit is omnipresent, so it is not like He wasn’t on the earth before Acts 2, but because His role was different, He was operating under a different set of divine orders before Acts 2, and after Acts 2. However, if the Holy Spirit is recalled, then He is no longer “convicting the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” This is where Paul states that God will send the world a “strong delusion,” and they (the Christ-rejecting left-behind world) will believe the lie (2 Thess. 2:9-11).

While we cannot know specifically when the Lord will return, the Bible states that we will:

  1. a) Know the season (1 Thess. 5:1-4)
  2. b) See the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25)
  3. c) Be caught unawares if we are not watching for it (Revelation 3:3)

The world will come for the Christian in the last days, but when it comes, it may find our empty clothes. It may find our empty cars and homes. But it will not find the Church. The Church will have already been caught up to Heaven with Christ.

You might be thinking, Brother Pete, what about all the Christians today, and for the past 2,000 years who have been persecuted? What about the Christians in Nazi Germany who suffered at the hands of the tyrannical Nazis? What about those who suffer today under ISIS, or North Korea, or in Nigeria?

I can tell you with all assuredness that just as the world has never had a nation like the United States of America before, in our end, it never will again.

We might have been a flawed nation, but we were a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles. No other nation did more to promulgate the spreading of the Gospel than the United States. We might have acted ill-tempered and foolish at times, but we continuously served as a lighthouse in the storm for the religiously downtrodden, a safe harbor for those seeking liberty and religious freedom. When our light goes out, so too will it symbolize the lights going out for the rest of the world.

Our absence from the pages of Holy Writ is, in my mind, intentional. God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10) and knew we would exist in the last days. The fact we don’t warrant a mention when nations like Libya, Iran, Russia, China, and Europe do, speaks volumes. The Rapture will absolutely decimate this nation, and in our collapse, the world will collapse. Out of that chaos will rise the final Beast kingdom, headed by Antichrist, but we will not be here to see it.

“Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who live on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).
