Three Reasons Why Jews Don’t Believe in Jesus :: By Geri Ungurean

When I have previously written on my people, and the title has “Jews” or “Israel” in it – I have been so disappointed because the readership plummets.

I pray that this will not be the case with this article. It is SO IMPORTANT, and if you love your Jewish Messiah Yeshua – you will be blessed, and He will be blessed that you care for the Jewish people.

A sister in Christ sent this video to me this morning. Tim and I watched it together and we were both in tears – happy tears! Eitan Bar, a Messianic Israeli, is captivating. Trust me, you will not be fidgety – you will cheer Eitan and his ministry on, and you will know that Yeshua smiles upon “One for Israel!”

In Eitan’s video, he explains the three major reasons why the majority of Israel’s Jews do not believe in Yeshua.

  • Replacement theology which leads to rabid Anti-Semitism: “God is finished with the stiff-necked Jews! Forget about them. All promises belong to the church – no longer to Israel!” Replacement Theology, which is taught in many mainline churches, but also in some Evangelical circles, has been so instrumental in Satan whispering this lie to the church: The promises once given to the Jews, are now transferred to the church because the Jews have turned their backs on God.

For those who have not previously read the article above, you may very well be shocked about Martin Luther and John Calvin. But don’t forget, these were mere men, still battling sin and hearing the whispers of the evil one.

Toward the end of Luther’s life, he thought that God gave him the ministry to save ALL of the Jewish people. He became so enraged when the Jews would not listen to him, that one day he wrote a sermon called “On the Jews and Their Lies.” This sermon caused the burning down of many synagogues and the slaughter of 2,000 Jews in one night.

If your pastor stays completely away from the book of Revelation, there is a very good chance that he is a Replacement Theology teacher. Brethren – leave that church and find one where the pastor/pastors love Israel and pray for them. Your leadership should talk about ways to reach the Jewish people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

  • Dual Covenant Theology (John Hagee preaches this)

Dual Covenant Theology teaches that Jews have a separate agreement with God to come into heaven. It teaches that Jews do not need Yeshua to be saved. John Hagee has preached this for years. I shudder to think of how many of my people have gone to hell because they believed that lie. ALL JEWS must come to the Father through Jesus Christ!

Eitan Bar says that Dual Covenant Theology sends Jews to hell on a full stomach.

  • Kabbalah (Talmudic) Rabbis speak against Jesus.

The Kabbalist rabbis preach primarily from the Talmud, which is NOT the inspired Word of God. Scribes and Pharisees throughout the ages have written “commentary” attempting to explain the Torah (Old Testament) to the “commoners.” In doing this, many errors have been passed down from rabbi to rabbi and then imparted to the people. Many man-made laws have been written in the Talmud. But these rabbis insist that the words of the Talmud came to them from God.

Eitan says that just as Catholics will not speak against the pope (some do), Jews will not speak against the Rabbinic leaders of Israel. Unfortunately, most Rabbis in Israel are Kabbalists.

Please hear my heart when I tell you this: When I speak of the Talmudic rabbis of Israel, I certainly am not trying to stir up hatred for them! I am a Jew and I love my people. These men are lost and they are in darkness.

Pray for them!!

Do you remember when Jesus looked down on the Roman soldiers from the Cross, He said to His Father in heaven:

“Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

That should be the prayer of our hearts towards the lost rabbis.

Brethren, I hope that this article has helped you to understand the Jewish people a little bit better. I also hope that you see the anointing upon Eitan Bar and “One for Israel!”

Just imagine, in 1948 there were approximately 30 Jewish people in Israel who believed in Yeshua. Today, there are more than 30,000!

The Lord allowed me the privilege of leading my dad (who was raised in an Orthodox home) to the Throne of God. He repented and trusted Yeshua for his Salvation!

How Can I Be Saved?

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!!
