Scanning a Fearful Future XII
I believe the Holy Spirit speaks to those who are attuned to God’s prophetic Word and who are doing as Jesus commanded: “What I say unto one, I say unto all. Watch” (Mark 13:37).
The Lord is speaking dramatically at the moment: “Watch! Watch the issues and events that are exploding all around you at the moment!” This is the message we’re receiving each minute of the day.
Therefore, it’s time for a “Scanning a Fearful Future” update.
Jesus said when we see all these “things” begin to come to pass, we’re to look up in anticipation of Him coming to take us home (Luke 21:28 and John 14:1-3).
These “things” we’ve been seeing come to pass for some time are now flowing in like the end-times flood Daniel described (Daniel 9:27). Great deception is in every direction, with deceivers at the highest levels of governments and religious circles prevaricating with power straight from the father of lies. The latest deception being foisted by Lucifer’s propaganda arm – the news media that assists him in his “prince of the power of the air” position while he spreads lies that mesmerize – involves the president of the United States.
Whether the shooter who almost took the life of the Republican candidate was a hireling of a globalist, deep-state cabal, or was simply a young man turned into a crazed fanatic by the months and years of the media’s brain-washing hatred, the source of the evil is the same. Satan continues to do all within his power to remove the obstacles blocking him from fulfilling his plan to set himself up, through the coming Antichrist, as destroyer of God’s order of things.
While these constant attempts to bring in the Antichrist regime accelerate at every level, those with Holy Spirit discernment can also see the truth of the mighty restraining hand of God at work through all that’s taking place.
God has promised that He will restrain evil right up until the moment believers are taken out of the way. With the Holy Spirit, who lives in every believer, ceasing the restraint of evil, the spiritual wickedness in high places of Ephesians 6:12 will have the run of the planet for a limited time.
The current battle–Lucifer’s forces versus God’s forces—is destined to become more intense by the minute. The future indeed would look fearful if not for that Great Restrainer controlling all that happens. God continues to have the evil forces in derision, as promised in Psalm 2. The Lord is almost assuredly laughing at the wicked forces of corruption that see practically every one of their plans disrupted. The following describes some of the restraining we are witnessing.
It’s important to understand that The Powers That Be (TPTB) themselves have never been so disunited and confused, incohesive and disordered.
In point of fact, all of the major implementation plans on their New World Order agenda have gone awry. Every nefarious scheme to foist a One World Government on the world community of nations has been thrown into disarray. Just look at their crazy Covid [expletive deleted] to understand their current stewpot.
Nevertheless, the power elite will continue to carry out their Great Reset since so much of their world takeover project greatly depends upon it. While I don’t believe, as the article concludes, that the assassination attempt on former President Trump was a hoax, there is no doubt the wicked forces in high places, both demonic and human, continue to do all within their dark-dimensional power to bring America down in order to remove the holdup to their Great Reset. The recent (I believe) deliberately contrived massive breakdown of vast cyberspace technology controlling, for example, airline scheduling and safety, is proof.
If you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, when scanning the future for the terrifying things that are coming, you indeed face the prospect of a fearful exercise. You don’t have to remain outside of Christ’s protection against the uncontrolled satanic wickedness about to burst upon the world. Here again is how to be assured of safety–being kept from the time that is coming upon the world of unbelievers (Revelation 3:10).
“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Paris Provocations
At the opening ceremony for the Olympics in Paris, the world witnessed a sampling of what’s ahead for it after our departure. On social media, I viewed videos of what were meant to represent two of the horses of the apocalypse. In one, I saw a veiled rider on a white horse ride through the streets of Paris with the Olympic flag behind him. The correlation between this and the antichrist riding throughout the world in Revelation 6:1-2 was clearly evident.
In another, I witnessed something eerily similar to the “pale horse” whose “rider’s name was death” (Revelation 6:7).
In a clear attempt to provoke the Lord’s fury, the ceremony also pictured drag queens seated at a table resembling the way Leonardo da Vinci painted Jesus and His disciples at the Last Supper. In Romans 1:28-30, Paul describes those with “debased minds” as “inventors of evil.” This exemplified his words.
The open display of Satan’s wiles on the world stage alerts us to how Jesus once described our adversary. He depicted him as a “murderer from the beginning” and the “father of lies” in John 8:44. A bit later, the Lord identified him as a “thief” who “comes only to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10).
These attributes were front and center in Paris, leaving us to ask a few questions.
Why Is Satan Openly Provoking the Lord?
As I pondered the images that came from the ceremony, it occurred to me that Satan might be purposely provoking the Lord to bring His judgments upon the world.
Such over-the-top mocking of Jesus and His Word went beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. Was the devil using the world stage to incite the beginning of wrath that will fall upon the world after the Rapture? (1 Thessalonians 5:1-10). Does he not realize that the book of Revelation spells his eternal doom?
Or has he deceived himself into thinking he can wipe out Israel and the human race before Jesus’ return to the earth? He seems to be picking a fight with the Lord on many fronts, which makes us wonder if he thinks he can prevail against God’s sovereign purposes. Perhaps his intent is to do as much damage as possible, knowing that his end is near.
Why Depict Two of the Four Riders from Revelation 6?
The devil recognizes the signs of the last days and, unlike most in our day, understands that the judgments of Revelation 6 will happen someday exactly as John described them. So why, then, provide the world with a preview of them with two of the seal judgments? Was this not his way of mocking the people who have become disciples of those pushing the Great Reset?
The four riders of the apocalypse will initiate a time of killing upon the earth that will surpass anything in history. By the end of the fourth seal, the judgments will have erased one-fourth of the world’s population. Jesus warned that if He doesn’t “cut short” the days of the coming Tribulation, all of humanity would perish (Matthew 24:22). Jesus’ words sum up the demonically inspired plans of the globalists who seek to enslave the people of the world under a totalitarian and Marxist regime.
His murderous agenda for humanity is nothing new. From 1980 to 2022, the Georgia Guidestones projected five hundred million as the ideal world population. In the past several years, prominent politicians and other world leaders have openly promoted population reduction as key to saving planet Earth from the supposed climate emergency.
According to one report, just this week, the World Economic Forum spoke of the need to reduce the white population of the world by one billion.
Although the devil is in our face telling of his murderous plans for us, which fulfill prophecy by the way, so few people seem to notice or care. The predominant theme from most pulpits is that Jesus will use the church to subdue all things and that it rather than Jesus will rise victorious over the evils of our day.
Why Now?
Why is our adversary openly displaying his wickedness and murderous intentions at this time? Is it not because he also understands Bible prophecy and knows that his time is exceedingly short? Is it possible he believes he can escape his fate that’s laid out on the pages of the book of Revelation?
The Paris affront to the Lord comes at a time when the devil is fiercely attacking the Jewish people throughout the world. As I write, it appears that many nations will soon launch a fierce attack against Israel, perhaps greater in intensity than anything we have seen in many decades.
It’s not a coincidence that attacks against the biblically-sound doctrine of the pre-Tribulation Rapture have also reached epidemic proportions at such a time as this. This mocking comes at a time when the saints, perhaps more than ever, need the comfort and encouragement that Jesus’ imminent appearing affords them.
I can understand why the world so vehemently opposes our “blessed hope,” but the most vocal scoffers are often fellow believers and pastors of the churches we attend. These things ought not to be.
During this time when Satan is so front and center with his wicked and murderous agenda, there’s no better place to flee than to the words of Philippians 3:20-21:
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”
There’s no other safe refuge today except that of our Savior and His comforting promises to us recorded on the pages of our Bibles.
