New footage of mystery drones shows ‘glowing orbs’ over New York. A New Jersey Mayor shared new footage of ‘glowing orbs transforming into drones’ over Long Island, adding more intrigue to this ongoing mystery. Michael Melham, Belleville mayor, has been outspoken about the unexplained phenomena plaguing his state and the greater tri-state area since mid-November when the drones first appeared. He shared the bizarre footage on X, saying the clips ‘appear to show glowing orbs turning into drones. Verified not to be planes via flight tracker. They hover. Glow. Then move.’ Melham said he is still getting reports of drone sightings ‘all over New Jersey, and even Long Island.’
New Jersey still appears to be the epicenter of drone reports following the first sightings in November, when eyewitnesses reported ‘car-sized drones’ flying above a military base and President Trump’s golf course. But since then, hundreds of other reports have surfaced across the Northeast and even from several southern states, including Virginia, Kentucky, and the Carolinas.

Republican Rep. Tim Burchett said, “They tell me something’s moving at hundreds of miles an hour underwater… as large as a football field, underwater.” Burchett, known for claims that the U.S. government is hiding existence of UFOs and other alien activity, said anything is possible given “the vastness of God’s great universe.” However, he told Americans not to worry about the suspected extraterrestrials’ extraordinary advances. “I’m not worried about them harming me,” he said. “I mean, with those capabilities, they would have barbecued us a long time ago.” No evidence has been produced of intelligent life beyond Earth.

Foul language (or implication of it) is unnecessary in this or any advertisement. Yet, that is apparently what Dunkin’ intended. This inappropriate slogan is repeated throughout the commercial.

He concluded by telling the crowd braving the cold, “Your hearts are warm and your spirits are strong because your cause is just and very, very pure,” and thanking them for valuing every child as a “beautiful gift from the hand of our creator.”

Major storm lashes Ireland and Scotland with hurricane-force winds. Forecasters had issued a rare “red” weather warning, meaning danger to life, across the whole island of Ireland and central and southwest Scotland. Ireland bore the brunt of the storm first, hit with wind gusts of 114 mph (183 kph), the strongest since World War II, as a winter storm spiraled in from the Atlantic before hitting Scotland. A man died after a tree fell on his car in County Donegal in the northwest of Ireland.

Israeli gov’t orders IDF not to complete withdrawal from southern Lebanon. The Israeli government ordered the IDF not to complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon, contrary to original terms of the ceasefire agreement. The terms of the ceasefire deal had set a 60-day deadline that expires on Jan. 26 for the IDF to pull its troops from Lebanon. IDF commanders were told that Israel continues to negotiate with the new U.S. administration to receive its approval to extend the deadline by several days to weeks.
Trump says he’s ‘hopeful’ Iran deal can be reached without Israeli military strike on nuclear program.
Asked if he would support Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, Trump first replied, “I’m not going to answer that,” adding that he’d soon hold high-level discussions on the issue. “It would really be nice if that could be worked out without having to go that further step,” Trump said.
