There were also deaths in Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. The massive storm system unleashed winds that triggered deadly dust storms and fanned wildfires. In Oklahoma, over 300 houses were damaged or destroyed, and large areas of land burned down. 9 tornadoes ripped through Alabama.
Floods batter Italy after Florence sees a month’s rainfall in one day on March 14, causing rivers to swell across the country. Red alerts were in effect across Italy, including Florence and Pisa, following an extreme flooding event that triggered multiple landslides and caused widespread damage.

The blaze left primarily young people dead and injured due to burns, smoke inhalation, and a stampede in the desperate effort to reach the building’s single exit. 15 people were detained for questioning after a preliminary inspection revealed the club was operating without a proper license. The number of people inside the club was at least double its official capacity of 250. “We have grounds for suspicion that there is bribery and corruption in this case.”

Both Syria and Lebanon are increasingly growing more unstable. Israel has been preparing for the chaos, insisting that not only the IDF stay in southern Lebanon but continue to attack both Hezbollah positions throughout Lebanon and Islamic Jihad bases in Syria. Israel’s government views both as enemies. The only way to ensure protection for Christians and Druze in the Levant is for Israel to extend its military oversight over the entire area – southern Syria and the whole of Lebanon.
