Tragically, many people go to their grave having been deceived about what happens after death. They need to know that their life will not be over after their last breath is taken. Rather, it is just the beginning of eternity which has no end. People will find themselves in one of two places. They will spend all of eternity either in a place of unimaginable joy and peace or in a place of misery and indescribable suffering. God’s Word says, “it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment” (Heb. 9:27).

Knowing this, it is puzzling how people often spend an inordinate amount of time investigating things of temporal value, but when it comes to seeking wisdom about eternity, many people cannot be bothered. It is because no one seeks after (the true) God, and only a few find the narrow way that leads to life (Mat. 7:14, Rom. 3:11). Their lack of concern and lack of interest for the truth is disturbing and lamentable as they travel down the broad way to destruction (Mat. 7:13).

Misplaced Faith

Some people blindly put their faith in religious leaders because they assume their leaders would never deceive them. Yet, the Lord Jesus warned us, “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Mat. 7:15). They are dangerous because they can easily deceive unstable souls with a false and fatal gospel. Paul also warned of false teachers in the church. He wrote: “…from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears” (Acts 20:30-31).

Our only protection is to test every man’s teaching with the supreme authority of Scripture because “evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” (Acts 17:11; 2 Tim. 3:13).

The Source of Spiritual Deception

Satan is the god and ruler of this world system of evil. He is the master deceiver and the father of lies (John 14:30, 8:44; 2 Cor. 4:4). He knows people will rarely believe an outright lie, so he cleverly mixes truth with error to deceive the whole world (Rev. 12:9). Satan uses his lies to tempt, seduce, divide, blind, destroy and kill. His powerful seduction is on display throughout apostate Christianity. Paul forewarned us when he wrote, “The Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1). Professing Christians who have never been born again will turn away from God’s Word to follow demonic doctrines.

While some Protestant churches have departed from the faith, Satan’s greatest and most deadly counterfeit of Christianity is the Roman Catholic Church. This deceitfully insidious religion hides its false and fatal gospel with a thin veneer of truth that seduces over a billion indoctrinated people. Religious deception is the deadliest kind of deceit because of its eternal consequences.

Satan’s Most Destructive Deception

All the religions of the world teach the fatal lie that man must merit salvation through good works and religious activity. This “is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Prov. 14:12). Only biblical Christianity proclaims that salvation is by grace alone in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Anyone who embraces a works-righteousness salvation has nullified God’s grace, which is the only means by which God saves sinners (Rom. 11:6; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5). Satan knows this, which is why he has created all his “grace-nullifying” religions that all lead to death. God’s truth must expose this fatally consequential lie! Man can never do what Christ has done.

Truth Bearers Are the Only Hope for the Deceived

As Christian truth-bearers, we have been given an awesome responsibility and a divine privilege. We are to guard, proclaim, uphold and defend the truth against any and all opposition. In doing so, we must expose the lies that undermine the truth of God’s Word (1 Tim. 6:20-21). Deadly deception will continue to seduce and entrap people unless we stand firm and gird our loins with the truth (Eph. 6:14). We must proclaim the truth in love to those who have been deceived by religious indoctrination. It is not love when we allow unbelievers to march proudly towards hell’s gate without compassionately confronting them with the true Gospel. The more passionate we are for the truth, the less we will sanction sinful lifestyles, accept false religions, put up with errant teachings, and disobey the great commission.

May our Lord be glorified as we testify to the truth just as He did!

The Left’s Fixation with Tucker Carlson

I rarely watch the Tucker Carlson show on Fox News. My TV viewing time is down to about five minutes each day when I watch the national news. It deeply concerns me that dozens of liberal media outlets and the Biden administration are fixated on everything Tucker has to say.

Tucker Carlson Tonight is the top show in cable news, averaging 2.81 million total viewers, followed by Hannity with 2.59 million, and The Five with 2.53 million. The closest show from the left is The Rachel Maddow Show with 2.27 million.

Carlson has weathered waves of ad boycotts by the efforts of other networks to badger companies to stop running ads on Carlson’s show. CNN openly supports efforts to boycott its rivals and does not see a problem with using mafia tactics to control the flow of news.

Ad boycotts won’t work because ads only bring in a portion of major networks’ income. Unlike advertising revenue, cable fees are more guaranteed and split among channels carried by providers like Comcast or Spectrum. Those proceeds for Fox come from cable subscribers regardless of whether they ever tune in.

While cable fees continue to fall as more Americans cut the cord, Carlson is at the center of the network’s streaming strategy with his new talk show “Tucker Carlson Today” and long-form documentary series “Tucker Carlson Originals,” both of which are behind a paywall on the FOX Nation app.

Tucker has addressed the topic of “cancel culture” several times. “In January, Simon & Schuster — the gargantuan publishing house — canceled a book by a senator from Missouri, Josh Hawley, because a mob of democratic activists told them to,” said Carlson.

Salon.com tried to argue that he undermined his own argument and should be canceled for misrepresenting the truth. I think salon.com should be canceled for stupidity. Democratic activists have gotten all types of books banned or canceled because they differ from the leftist ideology. The Nazis banned books, but at least they were mostly honest about their reasons.

Tucker Carlson is often called a White Supremacist. And He’s giving Fox viewers exactly what they want. Carlson is labeled a white supremacist because he rejects replacement theory, Black Lives Matter, and a host of other racist leftist organizations.

When the Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot said she would only do interviews with reporters from minority races, Carlson was right to call out her bigotry. Lightfoot claims that 99 percent of her critics are motivated by racism or sexism.

With nearly 2,000 people shot so far, 2021 is Chicago’s deadliest year in more than a decade. Lightfoot deserves to be criticized because she has been a horrible mayor. She’s too busy looking into the past to see the problems of today:

“Look at my predecessors. Did people say that Rich Daley held tea sessions with people that he didn’t disagree on? Rahm Emanuel was a polite guy who was a uniter? No. Women and people of color are always held to a different standard,” Lightfoot said.

Last week, Carlson said that The National Security Agency (NSA) has been monitoring the communications between members of his crew with the intention of getting the show canceled. An NSA Whistleblower revealed to Carlson that the Biden Admin was spying on him. The NSA responded to the claims with a blanket statement:

“NSA has a foreign intelligence mission. We target foreign powers to generate insights on foreign activities that could harm the United States. With limited exceptions (e.g., an emergency), NSA may not target a US citizen without a court order that explicitly authorizes the targeting.”

It is troubling that the NSA is a secret organization that allows no replies to any allegations. The NSA has used this same deceit for years: they can spy on US citizens’ communications without “targeting” the American. The NSA has extremely broad authorities to collect communications without “targeting” a person.

When Biden won and we lost control of the senate, I thought the Democrats would quickly turn America into a Soviet-style Gulag. God has kept the Democrats in a perfect state of confusion, which has kept things amazingly stable. People like Carlson are being used to hold back the darkness that the enemy craves to operate in. The only reasonable answer to “Why is God still restraining?” is the rapture.

“I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you” (Exodus 23:27, New King James Version).

Is the Time at Hand?

One can almost physically feel evil’s powerful pull at the godly restraints imposed by Heaven’s Love and wisdom. Wickedness exerts its mesmerizing influence on this generation from its high places, inducing an insanity that can only be defined as the reprobate mind given in Romans 1:28.

Those of us fifty years of age or older can but blink and wonder at the upside-down world as it continues to descend into a madness of sorts. Those younger, for the most part, don’t seem to notice the deliberate deconstruction of all we of the 50-plus generation recognize and by which we are vexed.

I refer to such developments in America as the following.

* Disdain for human life in the form of abortion.

* The slaughter of babies in their mother’s wombs doesn’t seem to matter to more than half of our numbers. The younger generation –the baby-producing ages—especially don’t seem to notice and care. (And I realize that there are those who do care about the unborn among this age. But they are in the minority, and a significant minority at that.)    

* Disregard for formerly moral principles.

* Marital status means nothing to a growing percentage of America’s population. Statistics bear it out. Sexual activity outside of the marriage bond is as common as any other entertaining, social activity.

* Embrace of homosexuality as more normal than heterosexuality is now the “enlightened” view.

* The norming of same-gender sexual relations has over powered today’s culture in a brief time. If one doesn’t embrace the social construct that biblical      prohibitions are no longer relevant and that it is perfectly normal for men to have sex with men and women with women, then it is the one holding such an outmoded view who is the great sinner, not those who are “enlightened.”

* Welcome of new thought in adult-children sexual relations is a growing reality within progressive ideology. –Thus although there is no realization that such thought is not new at all, but is as ancient as every civilization that has lived and died.

* Such organizations as the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which was not too long ago seen as among the most disgusting and perverted of groups, now are considered acceptable under growingly lenient circumstances. It all depends upon whether such relationships as adults and children being sexually involved are “consensual”–which in itself is as reprobate a concept as any that could be devised, in this writer’s view.

Thankfully there are Christian and other groups organized against this pedophile movement to normalize such filthy and evil activity. But it is a satanically driven trend that will not be stopped as mankind devolves ever deeper into total depravity.

Even public libraries and schools are becoming ever more involved in this movement to bring adults and children together in this unholy way.

Dolly Madison Library in Fairfax, Virginia has invited preschoolers, babies and toddlers to attend ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ to celebrate ‘Pride Month.’

“Celebrate Pride Month by attending Drag Storybook Hour cosponsored by Fairfax County Public Library and The McLean Community Center. Registration required. All Ages.”…

The event will take place on Saturday, June 26 from 10:30 am to 11:15 am.

Event planners invited “babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children.”…

The Fairfax Republican party slammed the library for inviting young children to Drag Story Hour in celebration of pride month.

And the powerful tug of that luciferian hand, pulling this generation farther from godly restraint, manifests in the arena of commerce. All who want to live under a more moral society and culture are increasingly marginalized by the wicked forces of earthly, financial power.

Amazon, which is on track to be America’s largest retailer next year, launched its charity program Amazon Smile in 2013. The company has banned multiple conservative organizations since then, because it relies on the anti-conservative Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) to decide what groups qualify for the program.

WORLD News Group reported in 2020 that “Liberty Counsel, Family Research Council (FRC) and the American College of Pediatricians” are not allowed on Amazon Smile. Alliance Defending Freedom was reportedly removed from the site as well. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter, and The Satanic Temple are all free to collect donations from the program.

The AmazonSmile program is fairly simple. “Shop at smile.amazon.com and we’ll donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to your favorite charitable organization—no fees, no extra cost,” the website explained. However, Amazon will not let just any charity into the program. “Organizations that engage in, support, encourage, or promote intolerance, hate, terrorism, violence, money laundering, or other illegal activities are not eligible to participate. Amazon relies on the US Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Southern Poverty Law Center to determine which registered charities fall into these groups,” AmazonSmile’s about page said.

We know, of course, who are the “intolerant” in today’s definition of the term. Christian organizations, in particular, are not allowed to participate in the charitable largesse of the beneficent Amazon money masters.

The transgender  curriculum is becoming ubiquitous throughout the nation’s public school systems. Children in grade school are taught that God’s Word, the Bible, is wrong. That they can be whatsoever gender they wish.

And as parents begin to catch on to this type of hellish inculcation and attend school board meetings to protest, the school officials in some cases are contriving ways to obfuscate their nefarious doings.

Another such brief on a link further emphasizes the satanic tug at the knot teeing this generation to the last vestiges of its moral moorings.

All of this means that the stench of these end times must be singeing the nostrils of a Holy God. It is more than appropriate to ask if this is not that time He forewarned of in the one book we are promised His blessing if we read and heed. Is that time at hand?
