Could Tony Blair run Gaza?
Mr Blair’s plan has powerful backers, from Gulf leaders to Jared Kushner, the American president’s son-in-law. Perhaps most important, unlike other plans, it seems to have Donald Trump’s blessing. Mr Blair, Mr Kushner and Steve Witkoff, the president’s Middle East envoy, all argued the case at a meeting with the president on August 27th. (Ron Dermer, the Israeli prime minister’s confidant and minister for strategic affairs, joined in by phone.) And on September 23rd Mr Trump was said to have presented the idea to the leaders of Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia and five Arab countries. “Maybe we can end it [the Gaza war] right now,” Mr Trump told them.

Security Council on Friday rejected a last-ditch effort to delay reimposing sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program, a decision that the country’s president immediately called “unfair, unjust and illegal.” The decision on the “snapback sanctions” came a day before the deadline and after Western countries claimed weeks of meetings failed to result in a concrete agreement.

The sisters’ crime? Posts on social media – and a hashtag that demanded the end of Saudi Arabia’s system of male guardianship.

In return, Israel would release between 100 to 200 terrorists currently serving life sentences. The source did not provide details or specify which high-profile prisoners might be included in such a potential deal to end the conflict.

Faith Leaders Launch Petition Campaign to President Trump
The open letter, signed by thousands of pastors, rabbis, and religious leaders, specifically warns against reviving Trump’s previous “Peace to Prosperity” plan, which was first introduced in January 2020 during his previous presidency. The petition presents ten core arguments against territorial division, mixing religious, legal, and political reasoning. The signatories argue that “Israel’s land is covenant land” and cite biblical passages, including Genesis 15:18 and Joel 3:2, to support their position that dividing the territory “has consistently led to instability.” The letter draws particular attention to Gaza,

Tony Blair Makes List of Influential Gay Icons
The list of timeless gay icons has just received an unlikely new addition: former British prime minister Tony Blair. British magazine Gay Times revealed its latest list of influential figures to the LGBT community to celebrate the publication of its 30th anniversary issue, and picked the controversial former British leader, to join the ranks of other more traditional figures such as Boy George, Joan Rivers and Barbra Streisand. Blair, who has appeared on the cover of Gay Times twice, oversaw the legal lowering of the age of consent for gay couples to bring it in line with that of heterosexual couples. “It’s something I’m very proud of,” Blair said, referring to his status as a gay icon.

Britain may pay Palestinian Arabs due to state recognition
A group of Palestinian families is demanding an apology and compensation from Britain for war crimes committed during colonial rule. After the British government recognized a Palestinian state earlier this week, representatives of 12 Palestinian families went to the Foreign Office in London, demanding that the British government acknowledge the war crimes committed during the British Mandate in Palestine. The petitioners filed a 400-page legal petition in which they allege that they and their family members were subjected to violence, exile or repression during the British Mandate period up to 1948.

“As the prophets of Israel foretold in the Bible, you’ve turned good into evil and evil into good,” Netanyahu exclaimed, referring to Isaiah 5:20. “I say to the representatives of those nations, this is not an indictment of Israel. It’s an indictment of you,” he underscored. “It’s an indictment of weak-kneed leaders who appease evil rather than support a nation whose brave soldiers guard you from the barbarians at the gate.” “Israel will not allow you to shove a terrorist state down our throats,” Netanyahu asserted. “

Our Response to Global Darkness :: By Daymond Duck

For some reason, the following words of the Apostle Paul have been on my mind this week:

  • “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
  • Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
  • But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof” (Rom. 13:12-14).

Paul was clearly talking about his time, but his words are God’s words, and more than ever, they seem applicable today.

We are living in a dark (messed up, evil, wicked, etc.) world, and the day of our Lord’s return (the Rapture) is drawing near.

We need to prepare:

  • The night is far spent (this messed-up world is running out of time; the binding of Satan is drawing near).
  • The day is at hand (a better world is on the horizon).
  • Cast off the works of darkness (don’t allow Satan to tempt or control you; you don’t belong to him).
  • Put on the armour of light (you don’t have time to lose; prepare to stand your ground; obedience to Jesus should be your priority).
  • Walk honestly (be truthful as if Jesus were already reigning on Earth).
  • Avoid rioting, drunkenness, chambering, wantonness, strife, and envy (stop sinning).
  • Put on Jesus (copy Jesus; do what Jesus would do).
  • Don’t yield to the lusts of the flesh (sexual perversion, immorality, etc.).

I must admit that I wish I could do all of this (like Paul, I do things I don’t want to do, and I don’t do things I want to do), but this is the point: we are running out of time, and we need to get it right.

Here are some recent events that appear to signify that the end of the age is near:

One, concerning hatred for Israel at the end of the age: on Sept. 18, 2025, the UN Security Council voted 14-1 to require Israel to lift all restrictions on the delivery of aid into Gaza.

Some past deliveries have contained weapons, bombs, military supplies, etc. that wound up in Hamas’ hands.

The one vote against the resolution was a U.S. veto.

According to information underneath a picture in the article, this was the 10,000th meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in the Middle East.

10,000 meetings with no progress is one reason why I sometimes refer to the UN as the United Nothing, and I wonder how many U.S. taxpayer dollars have been wasted on thousands of useless meetings.

Two, on Sept. 18, 2025, a member of the Jordanian Armed Forces was stopped at the border between Jordan and Israel while carrying aid that was destined for Gaza.

While waiting for his truck to be inspected, he killed two Israeli soldiers before being killed himself.

For whatever it is worth, Israel and Jordan have a peace treaty, so a member of Jordan’s Armed Forces violated that by attacking Israel.

(FYI: Jordan is one of the nations listed in what is sometimes referred to as the Psa. 83 war.)

(Update: Starting on Sept. 19, 2025, Israel’s border with Jordan will be closed until further notice.)

Three, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Sept. 17, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested that the U.S. pressure Egypt to halt its military buildup in the Sinai Peninsula.

Netanyahu said it constitutes a violation of the 1979 U.S.-brokered Camp David Accords between Jerusalem and Cairo.

(FYI: Egypt is another one of the nations listed in what is sometimes referred to as the Psa. 83 war.)

Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Sept. 17, 2025, nuclear-armed Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a defense pact pledging that any attack on either nation would be viewed as an attack on both.

Five, concerning wickedness at the end of the age: on Sept. 18, 2025, Hamas said it will not release any more hostages, dead or alive, because Israel has invaded Gaza City.

They said Prime Min. Netanyahu’s invasion of Gaza City means he has decided to kill the hostages.

(Update: On Sept. 23, 2025, Israel’s military reported that it has now surrounded Gaza City.)

Six, concerning an increase in earthquakes at the end of the age: on Sept. 18, 2025, Michael Snyder (End of the American Dream) wrote:

  • The Earth has been shaken by 466,742 earthquakes so far in 2025.
  • Normally, we see between 110 and 125 earthquakes of at least magnitude 5.0 during a 30-day period, but earlier this summer, we witnessed 494in just 30 days.

Seven, concerning the expansion of Israel’s borders: on Sept. 21, 2025, Saudi Arabia cautioned Israel against annexing parts of Judea and Samaria and warned Israel of major implications in all fields if they do.

Saudi officials are slated to meet Trump on the sidelines, joined by representatives from the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey, to address the Gaza conflict and potential pathways forward.

Prime Min. Netanyahu said no decision will be made until after his meeting with President Trump next week.

Eight, on Sept. 21, 2025, the UK, Canada, and Australia formally recognized a Palestinian state.

They have violated the long-standing agreement in the Oslo Accords that statehood should be determined through direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.

Nearly a dozen countries have announced similar plans since last year, with others, including France, expected to make similar announcements on Sept. 22, 2025.

At least 150 of 193 UN member states recognize Palestine as a state.

(My comment: This clearly shows that Muslims do not keep their agreements, and many world leaders don’t care. God is in control, and He will have the final word.)

(Update: On Sept. 21, 2025, Israel’s Foreign Min. said, “Israel will not accept any detached and imaginary text that attempts to force it to accept indefensible borders.”)

(Update: On Sept. 21, 2025, Israel’s Prime Min. said, “There will not be a Palestinian state.”)

Nine, concerning Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons: on Sept. 19, 2025, the UN Security Council voted to reimpose sweeping economic sanctions on Iran over its resurgent nuclear program.

The sanctions include an arms embargo, restrictions on ballistic missile development, travel bans, and asset freezes.

Iran said the sanctions are unlawful and it will not abide by them.

Trump and Netanyahu have both said they will not let Iran develop nuclear weapons.

Ten, concerning Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons (possibly with implications for the Gog of Magog War): on Sept. 22, 2025, it was reported that Russia and Iran will sign documents this week for construction of new nuclear reactors in Iran.

Eleven, concerning the gospel going all over the world at the end of the age: it has been reported that 100 million people heard the gospel several times at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sept. 21, 2025.

Twelve, concerning all the nations hating Israel at the end of the age: on Sept. 24, 2025, it was reported that the Prime Min. of Spain said he will send a Spanish warship to protect a flotilla of activists seeking to deliver aid to Gaza.

According to this, Israel will not allow the flotilla or the Spanish warship to enter the war zone at Gaza.

Thirteen, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Sept. 25, 2025, it was reported that the Islamic terrorist group called ISIS issued the following call:

  • Hunt your prey in the streets and roads of precious America, Europe, and the world.
  • Break into their homes, kill them, and punish them with all the means you can.”

It is a clear call for the death of U.S. (and other) citizens in their own countries.

Fourteen, concerning wars and rumors of wars, and Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons: on Sept. 24, 2025, it was reported that satellite photos show that Iran has started rebuilding the nuclear sites that the U.S. and Israel destroyed during Israel’s 12-day war with Iran.

The U.S. and Israel have said they will not let Iran get nuclear weapons.

Fifteen, concerning the war in Gaza: on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in NY City on Sept. 24, 2025, Pres. Trump presented a position paper to leaders of eight Arab and Muslim nations for an end to the war in Gaza.

Among other things, Trump’s proposal calls for:

  • A multi-week ceasefire, during which all 48 remaining hostages would be released, followed by a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
  • Humanitarian aid would be funneled into the enclave through international institutions, and governance structures would be established that exclude Hamas.
  • A continuation of military support for Israel, if Hamas doesn’t agree to free all hostages and relinquish power in Gaza.
  • It rejects Israeli military occupation of Gaza, settlement activity, forced displacement of Palestinians, annexation of Judea and Samaria, and violations of the status quo at Jerusalem holy sites.

Prime Min. Netanyahu was not present at the meeting, but he will be at the White House on Sept. 29, 2025, to discuss it with Pres. Trump.

(My opinion: Judea, Samaria, the Jerusalem Holy sites, Gaza, and more were given to Israel by God, and no one – including Pres. Trump – can change that. This issue is taking the world to the Tribulation Period and the Battle of Armageddon.)

(Update: On Sept. 25, 2025 – one day after Trump presented his position plan to the Arab and Muslim nations – Netanyahu said a Palestinian state will not happen.)

Sixteen, concerning wickedness and violence at the end of the age (days of Noah): on Sept. 24, 2025, it was reported that a Capital Research Center Report says George Soros’ foundations have given more than $80 million to groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence ($23 million to groups that assist terrorism and criminality in the U.S.).

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
