Our Lord Jesus Christ is spot on in every aspect of what is happening around us. The Gospel may have been written two thousand years ago, but what it has alluded to is stunningly true as we speak. On this note, can we say that the Bible is irrelevant in the current-day context?

Here is just one verse that speaks more than volumes about real stuff. In Matthew 7:13, it is clearly stated that you “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

More than two millennia have lapsed, and believe it or not, what is plainly stated above is irrefutable proof that the Word of God is a hundred percent foolproof! What is the wide gate and the broad way? None other than the opulence plus extravaganza of the Church Growth Movement. There is a vast expanse of space for so-called praise and worship sessions. Speak of the atmosphere – much like a rock concert with the keynote preacher emulating a pop diva. The seating is almost packed to capacity; there are throngs that just desire the feel-good setting week in and week out.

For the purpose of keeping the large numbers intact and perhaps bloating, the Living Word is diluted – maybe even totally absent. Anything that makes them seemingly come back for more would be fantastic, even if it were totally not from Holy Writ. Quite the case with the Prosperity Gospel – certainly not inspired by the Holy Spirit but a fable invented by the flesh. The crowd just wants to hear it because it could be their quantum of solace from endemic harsh realities. It is truly no different from a crack house which offers an escapist fix! Nothing about dealing with the problems in daily living.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

That time is right at this very moment when it is staring at many eyes – the reality of what is common practice in numerous apostate churches at full swing! They will accommodate anything but the truth, which is oftentimes hard to swallow and potentially a turn-off. Why do specific personalities enjoy a cult status? All because of their ability to satiate the itching ears of the spiritually wayward masses. Sad to say, they have little appreciation of the value in the truth. They would be content with the short-term euphoria and be numb to the long-term implications!

One key word which stands out in Matthew 7:13 is DESTRUCTION! It is all pointing to the blind being led by the blind to the slaughterhouse. All these regular faces who show up in the thousands haven’t the faintest idea of what is lurking in the shadows. For a start, there is a semblance of Christian worship, but is it genuine? Far from it because it is driven by an aggregation of fleshy desires – absolutely nothing to do with the Spirit of God! The character of this crowd is best said in 1 John 2:15-16.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.”

These folks certainly have a very serious issue with their eternal destiny because they truly do not know their Saviour. Their emphasis is on matters of the material world; it can be clearly seen in fables like the Prosperity Gospel. It is all about the lusts and desires of the flesh – very much in tune with pagan worship. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

Proponents of the Church Growth Movement are indeed turning their attention away from the stinging truth about blatant unbelief by putting all the focus on numbers as a key performance indicator. There is no regard for the spiritual well-being of those on the pews. Coming as little surprise, this is exactly what our Lord and Master said about the many choosing this route.

When there is no attention paid to the spiritual welfare of the congregation, it is only music to the ears of the evil one. Because of their unbelief, they are unable to reap the benefits accorded to true believers, which are in the Armour of God (Ephesians 6:12). These individuals are easy pickings for the wicked one plus his minions. Do not be surprised at their mental health status after a considerable period of being part of one of these spiritually toxic outfits.

It is just a question of time before this unbelieving, if not partially believing, end up in the ultimate snare so spoken of in 2 Thess 2:10-11. These people will be subject to the strong delusion, which is indeed the lead up to eternal damnation!

The Word of the Lord is unshakeable where truth is concerned. What has been written speaks of the certainty of God’s Word. With that in mind, it is a clear indication of His promise – that Blessed Hope!

On May 4, 2022, Pres. Biden reacted to the leaked U.S. Supreme Court ruling that will overturn Roe v. Wade. Then he said the MAGA crowd will go after many other privacy rights and freedoms. He asked, “What are the things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history—in recent American history.”

Most readers know that MAGA is an acronym that stands for Make America Great Again. It was Donald Trump’s slogan during his presidential campaign.

As I understand it, Pres. Biden was saying those that want to Make America Great Again adhere to the most extreme political view in recent American history.

In case there is any doubt about this, readers should know that Biden has called for the establishment of world government several times during his long political career.

Here are just 4 things he said along those lines:

On April 5, 2013, he spoke as Vice Pres. of the U.S. at the Export Import Bank Conference in Washington, DC, where he said, “The affirmative task we have now is to actually create a new world order.”
On Jan. 4, 2021, Pres. Elect Biden said, “It is time to change America.”
On Feb. 19, 2021, he spoke as Pres. of the U.S. to the G-7 nations and then to the Munich Security Conference and declared an end to Trump’s “America First” agenda.
On Mar. 21, 2022, he spoke at the Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting and said, “There is going to be a New World Order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. We’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.”

How can anyone in their right mind believe that putting America first is “the most extreme political view in recent American history?”

How can anyone in their right mind believe that those that want to put America first are more extreme than the KKK, Antifa, the abortionists that want to kill babies up to a month after birth, those that want to teach LGBTQ to children in kindergarten, those that want to force people to be vaccinated or lose their job, etc.?

This is the man that wants to create a Disinformation Governance Board and have it headed up by a known purveyor of disinformation (a known liar).

According to the Bible, the New World Order (world government) he supports will be run by Satan himself, and according to Jesus, there will “be great tribulation, such was not since the beginning of the world, to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matt. 24:21).

The time will come when world leaders will long for the days of the MAGA crowd (Rev. 6:15-17).

Here are some related current events.

One, concerning world government: on May 4, 2022, it was reported that a member of the EU parliament is warning that the World Health Organization (WHO) is working on amendments to existing treaties between the WHO and member nations that will allow the WHO to seize power over those nations during a pandemic.

If a pandemic is declared, nations will have no power to resist a WHO assumption of power, and they want these amendments to go into effect before the end of 2024.

Two, concerning pandemics: on May 3, 2022, global government activist Bill Gates said the world hasn’t seen the worst of Covid and that an “even more transmissive and even more fatal” variant is on the horizon.

Three, concerning food shortages and ultimately famine: on May 6, 2022, Bloomberg reported that 37 million chickens and turkeys have been killed in the U.S. because of the current outbreak of bird flu, and more will probably be killed in the coming months.

Four, concerning inflation and deceit: the White House said it is temporary, but on May 2, 2022, diesel fuel reached the highest average price on record, and on May 10, 2022, gasoline prices reached the highest average price on record.

The higher fuel cost will cause the price of food (and everything else) to go up.

On May 10, 2022, Biden finally admitted that inflation is a problem, but instead of admitting that he destroyed America’s energy independence or that the White House, Senate, and House are controlled by Democrats, and they control the economy, he blamed Putin’s war, Covid and ultra-MAGA Republicans.

The situation will continue to get worse because Biden and the Democrats won’t face the real problem (they have turned their back on God and the truth). Build Back Better is about weakening America; globalism is about establishing a godless world government and religion; abortion and the gay agenda are contrary to Scripture; a Disinformation Governance Board is about denial of free speech, etc.

Five, concerning the days of Noah (when the wickedness of man was great): on May 3, 2022, Pres. Biden was commenting on the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion on Roe v. Wade when he said, “the idea that we’re going to make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court … goes way overboard.”

Notice, Biden’s admission that people are choosing to abort (kill) a child.

Many politicians are voting to fund the killing of children, some doctors are taking money to kill children, and many in the Church are okay with killing children (some even after birth).

The home addresses of Supreme Court judges that voted to end Roe v. Wade have been published, and citizens are demonstrating outside the judges’ homes for the right to kill children.

In Los Angeles, rioters that want to kill children threw rocks at the police and busted windows out of squad cars.

(Another sign of the days of Noah was people ignoring Noah’s prophetic message that a Flood was coming and living like everything was okay; Matt. 24:38. That seems to be the attitude of many in the Church today.)

Six, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (an attack by Russia and her allies on Israel in the latter days and latter years): on May 6, 2022, it was reported that Russian experts believe “the distance between the two countries (Russia and Israel), which traditionally have belonged to different camps, will grow and the tensions will continue to mount, further destabilizing the Middle East.”

Seven, concerning Russia and her Islamic allies attacking Israel in the latter days and latter years to take a prey: on May 9, 2022, oil and gas producer, Energean, announced the discovery of 8 billion cubic meters (cfm) of natural gas off the coast of Israel, and it is in an area that could contain 58 billion cfm of natural gas.

Eight, concerning world government and population control: in late Apr. 2022, it was reported that the World Economic Forum (WEF) thinks there are too many people on the planet, and officials are now suggesting that older citizens consider euthanasia “for the children.”

Nine, concerning pestilences during the Tribulation Period: on May 8, 2022, it was reported that official U.S. government Centers for Disease Control (CDC) data strongly suggests that fully vaccinated citizens are developing Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

The U.S. data is also confirmed by government data in Canada and the UK.

AIDS can be caused by many things (the HIV virus, radiation, chemotherapy, leukemia, malnutrition, etc.).

This writer believes weakened immune systems may be a contributing factor in the death of multitudes from famine and pestilence during the Tribulation Period.

Ten, concerning peace in the Middle East: on May 9, 2022, it was reported that Saudi Arabia will put $2 billion into a fund that is investing in high-tech companies in Israel.

Saudi Arabia has not joined the Abraham Accords and has no diplomatic relations with Israel, but her ties with Israel are growing, and Saudi Arabia has said under the right circumstances (an agreement over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount), Saudi Arabia would formalize relations with the Jewish state.

The circumstances for a peace treaty are not right, but they are moving in the right direction.

Eleven, concerning a cashless society: on May 1, 2022, it was reported that the Bank for International Settlements said up to 90% of the world’s national banks are studying the use of a digital currency, and more than half are developing them or already experimenting with their use.

This is the bottom line: It appears to be just a matter of time until the world adopts a global digital currency that can be tracked.

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born-again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
