Satan’s Dark Cloud Over Australia: Christian Injustice :: By Ron Ferguson

A disgraceful thing has happened in Australia. In New South Wales, football is god. In Australia, football is god! The football code in this instance is Rugby League. One football club, Manly Sea Eagles, made a decision to make its players wear a “Pride” jersey. Pride is the name given to the promotion and arrogance of homosexuality. They promote the indecency openly.

Is this any different from what it was in Sodom when the perversion of the local men was rampant and they tried forcing others into their degraded behavior, even angels? For a Christian, these things are despicable, which is why Christians are hated by society, because “they don’t fit in.”

There are Pride marches, Pride conventions, and now Pride jerseys with some rainbow coloring and promotion of the perversion. The behavior of Sodom is a stench in God’s sight. Be warned all you who promote that perversion (a Bible word, incidentally; also “degrading passions” from Romans 1) and those who support it: God is not mocked. The judgment of the great white throne awaits in the future, and you will be without excuse.

Seven players of that Manly club (located in one of Sydney’s beach areas) refused to wear that jersey, so they can’t play, and they have been vilified by the media and politicians all over Australia. As far as I can ascertain, the other players in the Manly club are also against those 7 men.

The seven players are from the South Pacific Islands – Melanesians and Polynesians, men who maintain the standard of the Bible. These Pacific Islands are Christian, so most of their representatives are also. The greatest Rugby Union player who was in Australia – Israel Folau – some might remember was sacked and vilified horribly by the media, politicians, and all the homosexuality rights groups just because he posted a Bible verse on social media that contained a mention of homosexuality in that verse. This was the verse:

1Corinthians 6:9-10, “or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

HE WAS SACKED FOR THAT. It had nothing whatsoever to do with his time at his football club or with his job. The homosexual lobby in Australia is very strong and influential. These are dark days. Homosexuals are in high positions, and the one responsible for the dismissal of Israel Folau was the CEO of QANTAS (Australia’s airline), the main supporter of the club.

I now want to name the 7 Christian men who have been vilified for refusing to promote homosexuality. They are professional players, but you see, the perverted thrust of homosexuality is starting to claim every aspect of Australian life. It is pushed at us on every possible occasion. These are the men:

Seven players — Josh Aloiai, Jason Saab, Christian Tuipulotu, Josh Schuster, Haumole Olakau’atu, Tolutau Koula, and Toafofoa Sipley — stood down from the National Rugby League match rather than wear the “perverted jersey,” which has rainbow bands replacing the team’s white stripes to symbolize inclusiveness.

I want to mention them in honor and state their names so the Lord will honor these men.

NOW we come to an evil thing taking over this world. I think it extends beyond Australia. It is the new doctrine of “INCLUSIVENESS.” Inclusiveness means that all people are included, and supposedly the doctrine means no rejection. However, the language of these WOKE days is not what it seems. It is insidious. Inclusion means the inclusion of all those “WHO AGREE WITH US.” It is a discriminatory move with a fine-sounding name, but it is an evil move by the hard left to promote its policies. Inclusiveness is also anti-Christian to the extreme, as it pushes all those deviant behaviors that Christians are not part of. The trouble is, the attitude is not “live and let live.” If you don’t agree, then you are going to be persecuted.

I won’t continue too long with this, but I am shocked at all the media personalities coming out to attack these faithful 7 Christians. Just to give one example, and I quote – “Aussie TV icon Magda Szubanski has attacked the religious stance of seven rugby league players involved in the Manly pride jersey scandal in a series of tweets. The popular performer declared the seven Sea Eagles players, who are boycotting their team’s Thursday night clash with the Roosters, were failing to show the tolerance demanded by their religion by refusing to wear a LGBTQIA-themed jersey.”

Such hypocrisy! That woman despises Christianity and Christians, so she knows nothing about what Christian tolerance is. It certainly is not the open promotion of homosexuality. The Thursday mentioned is the 28th of July 2022, a day that will go down as a further step in the sinking of Australia into the moral abyss. Tolerance these days is another left-wing move, meaning you must tolerate the doctrines of the hard left but not the attitude and behavior of Christians. In fact, being tolerant means a rejection of the Bible. That is modern language.

Australian National Rugby League is going to bring in a “Pride Round” for the nation next year, and this perversion will go national and be paraded around Australia, flaunting all the laws of nature. Those who turn from God are capable of the worst sins.

The local Federal member for the Manly area called those dissenting players “hypocrites.” She is one who hates Christians and what they stand for. One media outlet, in a hateful attack, was blaming the missionaries for the trouble because, through God, they converted these Pacific Islands to Christianity in the 1800s. The media outlet accused the missionaries of destroying the way of life of Pacific Islanders. Praise God they were converted because they lived in a fearful blackness, practicing cannibalism, and were violent people to each other.

Nations such as Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Cook Island, Samoa in particular, and even Hawaii have been blessed and brought to the light through the early missionaries, many of whom lost their lives, and some were eaten. I have had the privilege of visiting all the above places more than once, except Cook Island, and it is a joy to see their plentiful churches. I have been present at some of their church services, some of which went for over 4 hours, but such is the devotion of these people from the Pacific Islands. Now vile men and women are attacking their Christian faith. It comes from Satan, no other place.

On top of this, one other repulsive thing has happened. Some of you who might read this are veterans and military men who have served your country. You know the importance of things such as The Shrine of Remembrance or Military Memorials honoring those who died for their nation.

Well, in Melbourne, Australia, there is a large Shrine of Remembrance. Would you believe this? – the powers that be, the evil Marxist politicians of Victoria, and others proposed to have the Shrine lit up in gay pride rainbow colors. See at this link. https://www.news.com.au/national/victoria/news/rainbow-lights-at-melbournes-shrine-of-remembrance-cancelled-due-to-abuse/news-story/f840ba711f4ba7eb3d60cde85138d1b7

It is gaudy. I think they started doing that, but then there was a backlash, and these words were soon used in one article: “a step too far.” Other news sites used the word “hateful” and “haters win” to express their disapproval of the lights being canceled. Nothing is sacred when it comes to the destroyers of values and society and dishonoring our soldiers.

There is such a growing hostility to Christians in Australia due to their moral stance on issues. These organizations attack Christians, but they will never say ONE word about a Moslem or Islam. I wonder why? We all know the answer to that. I know this increasing opposition is not just confined to Australia, but wickedness is spreading rapidly in the world. Is this any surprise to us? No, it is not. We know it will not only happen but is going to get worse. Consider these very relevant verses:

2Timothy 3:1-4, “Realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” (NASB).

“Difficult times” in verse 1 mean “times or hardship” (Perilous is the KJV word). I know we all apply those verses to the world at large, but I have always thought they are more specifically addressing Christians. It is Christians who will undergo the difficult times of hardship, probably more than the world will. We see it happening now.

Justice and injustice are on trial. The jury is stacked. The verdict is always for the support of injustice. What is injustice? It is the upholding of any move, law, or decision that goes against the clear law of God. Any travesty against what God has decreed is injustice. This includes evolution, abortion, homosexuality, corruption of marriage, the destruction of children’s sexuality, and the destruction of gender that Jesus said was male and female [ONLY].

Matthew 19:4, “He answered and said, ‘Have you not read, that He who created them from the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?”

In speaking of the last days, Paul went on to say in 2Timothy 3:12-14, “Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them.”

There are so many things that can be included here, issues that have been turned upside down. Each item God laid down in the first two chapters of Genesis has been inverted by wickedness. That comprises creation, the origin of man, gender, sexuality, marriage, headship, management of the earth, and no doubt there are others. There is no justice for those.

That is enough on that. I want to move to just one more area – more matters dealing with justice and injustice. However, I will only post a few paragraphs, and a bit of it may have been in one of my previous articles. I can’t remember. I keep developing these thoughts.

JUSTICE AND INJUSTICE NOW OPENED UP

Since 1972 in the United States, 180 men and 2 women have been freed from death row after being found innocent of the crimes for which they were sentenced to die. The condemned people were caught up in a nightmare, often caused by police or prosecutorial misconduct, or by witnesses who lied or who were mistaken. Most of the wrongly convicted had poor legal representation. They sat on death row, typically in solitary confinement, sometimes for decades. They missed their own parents’ funerals. Their children grew up without them.” (National Geographic, March 2021)

Consider the aspects of justice and injustice that arise from the previous paragraph. It is such a big subject, and we can only explore a few thoughts on it. The world is full of atrocities, of evils done to people. Justice will have its day, but it won’t rest in the hands of men. We cry for justice on earth but find none. There is no one to plead our cause. People are framed, cheated, robbed, dishonored, vilified, charged with spurious crimes and allegations, dismissed from their work on false pretenses, denied their rights, cheated by the legal system, falsely accused, murdered without recompense, and they are just a few of the things this world hands out to people. Yet nothing changes; it only gets worse. The Bible indicates it will get worse.

Are we unique in our generation in the matter of injustice? Certainly not. From the creation of human beings, justice is like an orphan still waiting to be adopted. In the very first book of the Bible, we read this in Genesis 4:10, “He said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground.'” Here was a murder crying out for justice. Cain had killed his righteous brother; the righteous slain by the unrighteous; God’s justice trampled into the ground; the red ground testifying to the injustice of man. In that Genesis case, the justice of God prevailed.

(There is more on this article dealing with Justice and Injustice, but that is enough for now.)

I am saddened by the state of my nation. At times it gets me down. All I see is that it is getting worse so quickly. There is nothing I can do about it physically. The Lord has not left us without knowledge as if in a meaningless vacuum. We have His word, and that is the viewfinder we have.

  1. The world will get worse. God has told us these will be the conditions in the last days. God was kind to tell us this so we would not be taken by surprise.
  2. Evil men and women will increase in wickedness. God has said so, proceeding from bad to worse.

I am just amazed how it has happened so quickly. Another thing that has astounded me is the large number of women entering politics in Australia. Whole areas of them. It is like a conspiracy. Many of them are being sponsored by a billionaire who is bent on the destruction of Christianity. I won’t name him.

  1. Yes, I get frustrated and upset because any vestiges of righteousness in this country are being trashed and eliminated. These are the last days, and we know rationally that all this must happen.
  2. Lastly, COME, LORD JESUS. WE WANT YOU TO RAPTURE US, TO TAKE US HOME. May the Lord give us a real measure of understanding, not only of what is happening but how we as Christians need to live and be faithful.

AMEN

Thy Kingdom Come – Thy Will Be Done :: By Charles Gray Adams Jr

The recent article, “The Great Awakening – The Grand Deception,” dealt with the topic of the currently trending movement to establish the kingdom of God on earth through various approaches, including the “Seven Mountain Mandate.” [1] Those who are devoted to this particular method desire to overcome the world by exerting dominance in seven primary spheres of influence: education; religion; family; business; government/military; arts/entertainment; and media. Each ‘kingdom now’ system has the same goal in mind: establish the physical kingdom of God on earth, “now.” This article will provide the antidote to this fallacy, Scripture rightly divided, which indicates the kingdom of God is currently only spiritual as the physical kingdom will only come when Jesus returns to the earth at the end of the Tribulation (Rev 20:1-6). Therefore, our heart’s cry must be, “Thy Kingdom Come – Thy Will Be Done.”

Incredibly, the Jewish Nation had the same problem expressed by many of the kingdom-now adherents; they desired the physical kingdom more than the spiritual kingdom. We all know how things worked out for them. They began by rejecting the true Messiah and calling for and witnessing His execution. If this wasn’t bad enough, they even called for His blood to be upon them and their children (Matt 27:25). Remarkably, they sealed this decree when they began to persecute and slay those who did receive the spiritual kingdom, the Christians, a group of believers made up of people from all nations. Essentially, the Jews established a witness against themselves by persecuting and even murdering the righteous. God will use this witness to judge righteously all who do not repent.

A good example of one who did repent is Saul of Tarsus, who was once a noted persecutor of Christians before his encounter with Christ on the Road to Damascus (Acts 9). Once he met Jesus, whom he immediately called Lord, which is another word for King, he repented and never again sought to harm the righteous. Consequently, Saul was renamed Paul, and he did much to further the spiritual kingdom of God. Paul’s life demonstrates the possibilities available to all who repent of any errant belief system.

The aforementioned misstep made by the Jews can be used to establish a historical representation of the mistakes being made by those who adhere to the kingdom-now fallacy. You see, God had already provided, in Scripture, all the Jews needed to know about the First Coming of Christ. Isaiah said Christ would come as a suffering servant, a lamb led to slaughter (Isa 53). David said Jesus would die as one who was poured out like water, one whose bones were out of joint, and whose garment was the subject of lot casting (Psa 22). Sadly, this is not the king the Jews desired. They wanted, instead, a lion who would crush the Romans.

This is the same mistake being made by the kingdom-now adherents. They desire a kingdom that is mighty upon the land, a kingdom that overcomes the world. However, this does not square with Scripture. You see, the kingdom of God was not of this earth when Jesus was on the earth the first time because He came as the Lamb to be slain (Rev 13:8). Upon His ascension, He left the Church here to fulfill the Great Commission while awaiting His return. [2] This is all the Scriptures say about the earthly goals of the Church. Therefore, just like the Jews who rejected Christ the first time, those building the physical kingdom now are missing the mark, terribly.

The root of the problem is simple. Both of the aforementioned groups are/were looking for the manifestation of a physical kingdom in order to fulfill their own desires. However, the Lord has provided in exacting detail the manner in which His kingdom will come to earth. One need only read the books of Daniel and Revelation to understand what God has in store.

In summary: at any time, the rapture will take place, and the Church will be removed from earth (1 Thess 4:13-17). Those who miss the rapture will enter into the Tribulation, which is prophesied to be a seven-year period of utter devastation (Dan 9:27). During this time, the antichrist will rise to power, and those loyal to him will slay all who will not worship him (Rev 13). At the same time, God will be pouring out His righteous judgment upon the unrepentant in the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments (Rev 6-16). During this time, the earth will suffer unimaginable chaos and become increasingly hostile to the human inhabitant. [3] It is at the end of all of this that Jesus will return to earth to establish His kingdom (Rev 20:1-6).

Needless to say, this is not a time to be desired by anyone. Unimaginably, those deceived by the kingdom-now heresy reject sound doctrine and actually believe, instead of tribulating, they will be rising to power via the aforementioned methods designed to conquer the world systems. Sadly, if they fail to repent, this errant desire will lead them down a path that ends with them working for the end-time false one-world church – the Whore of Babylon (Rev 17). By the way, they will be just like Saul of Tarsus and pursue, persecute, and slay the Tribulation saints (those who come to faith during the Tribulation) with incredibly religious fervor.

The title of this article, “Thy Kingdom Come – Thy Will Be Done,” could be better stated, “Thy Will Be Done – Thy Kingdom Come.” You see, fulfilling God’s will is how the kingdom of God actually comes. In fact, this is the only way the kingdom of God comes. Here is why.

What is a kingdom? A kingdom is somewhere a king reigns. The term reign implies that the king’s will is done; therefore, he is king. Simply put, a kingdom is a place where the will of the king is followed by those over whom he reigns.

According to Jesus, the kingdom of God comes when God’s will is done. He taught this when He taught the disciples how to pray:

Matthew 6:9-13

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” [4] (emphasis mine)

Therefore, praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it already is in heaven is essentially calling for God’s kingdom to come into existence on the earth. This is realized in two ways. First, Jesus will come to earth, bringing the physical kingdom with Him. Secondly, the kingdom spiritually exists within the hearts of men who seek and follow the will of God, making Him their King.

If you think about it, some of the greatest successes in the Bible were accomplished by those who followed God’s will without hesitation, even when what He said to do made no sense to the natural man. Noah built an ark when God told him to, saving his immediate family from the global flood (Gen 6). Moses, with the children of Israel penned against the Red Sea, was told to raise his staff and raise his hand over the sea, and a great escape ensued (Ex 14). Hebrews chapter eleven is filled with examples of the faithful who simply believed God and did His will, to the death. The New Testament is also filled with one example after another of those who sought and followed the will of God even though it cost them their lives. All of these resided within the spiritual kingdom of God.

One last consideration. Why is the spiritual kingdom not good enough for some? Why must there be a physical kingdom, now? The answer is actually very simple. Those who desire the physical manifestation of the kingdom of God now are more interested in their own will than the will of God. Jesus described this when He spoke of who would enter into the kingdom of heaven:

Matthew 7:21-23

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (emphasis mine)

Jesus clearly identified those bound for the kingdom of heaven; they are those that do the will of the Father in heaven. Notice, He also identified the reason for the rejection of those will not enter in; they did what they desired to do, in His name. This means they were serving their own will and simply attaching the name of Jesus to whatever they were doing at the time. [5] This is a far cry from seeking and following the will of God, no matter the cost.

Conclusion

Many have attempted to forge the kingdom of God on earth to no avail. Try as they might, one failure after another abounds. This is because anything short of God establishing His kingdom is not God’s kingdom at all. Remember, God no longer dwells in temples made by man (Act 7:48). Instead, He resides in the hearts of those who follow His will (Isa 57:15; 1 Cor 3:16; John 14:23; Col 1:27; Eph 3:16-17).

With all of this in mind, the true desire of a believer must be ascertaining the will of the Father in heaven and fulfilling it. In regard to the coming kingdom, there can be no mistake, God has already told us how this will happen, and He expects us to be about His business (The Great Commission) until the Son comes for the bride. Therefore, just like the builders of the wall in Nehemiah’s day, who worked with one hand to build the wall and held a sword with another (Neh 4), let us be busy building the spiritual kingdom of God while watching for our soon coming King.

John 4:34

“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
