When, in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the spiritual bands of unity which have connected them – in accordance with Christ’s admonition that we may all be as one and to assume that those from whom we are dividing are false teachers who have abandoned the faith and have become empty talkers and deceivers, teaching things they ought not to teach, and for the sake of dishonest gain, and are even now laying the foundation for the Laodicean Church – a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that people of faith should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all Christians, in unity, were called by God to testify to the Gospel, which is that Christ died for our sins. Due to that testimony, we are called to proclaim repentance and the forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus while standing firm in the faith, that all men may hear and repent, that they may receive the gift of faith—That whenever any church becomes destructive to these ends, that it is the Right of the people to demand that such churches repent or be abolished, and institute a New Testament church that is not subject to transient causes.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations by false teachers, the fruits of whose preaching leads to absolute Despotism the likes of which we have not seen since the rise of Hitler, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off the spiritual shackles of what has become the Laodicean Church, and to provide new Guards to preach the Gospel. The history of the present false preachers and teachers is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations as they are leading their congregants into the fires of hell. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a lost and dying world.
The Laodicean Church has refused to proclaim the Gospel and to call sinners to repent and be forgiven in the name of Jesus because there is no money in it. They have attempted to ‘deconstruct’ the Gospel so that it can be replaced with the pagan abomination of ‘social justice.’
It has adopted the pagan notion of ‘best life now’ theology, causing this disgrace to infiltrate our seminaries, churches and Christian universities, leaving people utterly deluded and completely unqualified to preach the Gospel or even for entrance into the kingdom of heaven.
The Laodiceans have corrupted our seminaries, Christian schools and universities, abandoned all pretense of being faithful, and turned to teaching our youth to be as much the sons of hell as they are.
The Laodiceans have taken over the once devout Southern Baptist Convention and turned it into what looks like the human resources department for the evil globalists as they create ‘woke’ policies for their congregations to follow.
The Laodiceans have taught people to fruitlessly seek their purpose in life rather than to nurture the precious gift of faith that they were offered by the Lord of heaven.
The Laodiceans have wormed their way into homes to gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires and have left behind books by female ‘pastors’ who preach Word of Faith theology and other heresies.
They have claimed that we can vote for the Democrat party, which has completely wiped God out of its political platform, with the full understanding that their refusal to glorify God causes those party members, and their voters, to become futile in their thinking.
They have falsely accused Christians of being “Christian Nationalists” because we demand a political leader who has not rejected God or who appoints Godly people to the courts or high political office. And then, to further add to their insult, they falsely accuse us of putting nationalism ahead of faith. Their disgraceful behavior is manifest when Democrats, a party that is comprised of people who have clearly rejected God and corrupt everything they touch, win power. After the travesty of the election of Democrats, these false teachers quickly fall suspiciously silent while evil and oppression run amok.
They have joined with and promoted a usurper that they blasphemously call ‘Holy Father’ who turns a blind eye to the evil that is enveloping the world and instead lectures us on the pagan myth of climate change. They show no interest in the Book of Revelation, even as they see it is about to unfold before their eyes, but are passionately dedicated to promoting the ‘heathen apocalypse’ of man-made global warming.
They cause divisions in the various congregations, requiring these houses of worship to splinter and form new congregations to escape the heretical, self-centered nonsense that they preach.
They have stood idly by while cross-dressers are appointed to the highest offices in the land, and while men who are not even trying to look like women are competing in women’s sports. Then, as if to show their true character, they will quickly rise with the heathen to suppress calls for repentance by true Christians.
They refused to call homosexuals to repent, and now this sin has metastasized into the sexual mutilation of children.
They have cheered the Methodist Church USA, which has apparently morphed into a communist front group by pushing the pagan myth of climate change through their pathetic, Godless document “God’s Renewed Creation: Call to Hope and Action.”
They issue Declarations that all religions need to enter into ‘religious dialogue’ for world peace even though Christians were warned not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. In so doing, they demand that the faithful seek a partnership with lawlessness, darkness, and Belial. These deluded people have abandoned the faith and show no concern that their declarations of utopia will only result in the opposite.
Ever since these oppressions began with the ’emergent church movement,’ which caused many churches to achieve ‘dead’ status and made them an easy target to be purchased by the evil globalists, the faithful have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms. Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated false accusations, usually that we are ‘unloving’ or are guilty of touching God’s ‘anointed.’ A Pastor whose character is thus marked by his refusal to repent of taking the Lord’s name in vain each time he ascends the pulpit is unfit to share the word of God with a free people.
The facts that we have presented are common sense, and the sun never shined on a cause of greater worth. Men of all ranks have embarked on this controversy over the last 50 years, with different motives and with various designs, but all have been ineffectual, and the period of debate is closed. Arms, as the last resort, decide the contest; the appeal was the choice of the false teachers of the newly emerged Laodicean Church, and the faithful have accepted the challenge.
To CONCLUDE, however strange it may appear to some, or however unwilling they may be to think so, matters not, but many strong and striking reasons may be given to show that nothing can settle our affairs so expeditiously as an open and determined declaration of separation from dead and Laodicean Churches. Some of which are the following:
First—We will endeavor to correct the only egregious error made by the writers of the U.S. Constitution and add the following, despite the pending protestations of the Laodiceans, to the preamble:
We the people confess that God will bless this nation for as long as it serves as a vehicle for the church to:
Proclaim repentance for the forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus, and,
To make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded.
Fortunately, the necessity of amending the Constitution does not exist since God is currently implementing this addendum whether anyone likes it or not.
Second—We shall don the full armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. To our shame, the devil has put forth no effort at being wily in this modern era, and his wolves have not even bothered to put on sheep’s clothing. This kind of laziness among the wicked will not go unchallenged. We have watched silently as communist front groups, bent on evil, have successfully passed themselves off as ‘civil rights’ groups. They pretend to work for the betterment of humanity when they are tearing down the fabric of society and have fended the faithful off with false accusations of racism. They advocate for sexual perversion while falsely claiming it promotes good mental health, and they promote paganism in the form of climate change. Through faith, we will stand on the truth and the righteousness of God and make Satan work much harder for his conquests.
Third—We will fasten on the belt of truth and be unafraid to call out false teachers even when they enjoy great popularity and have mastered the art of false accusations against the faithful. Using the Gospel as our guide, we will be prepared to face ridicule from a faithless world that values attractiveness and eloquence over sound doctrine.
Fourth—We will put on the breastplate of righteousness and stand firmly on God’s law. The law of the Lord is perfect as it revives the soul, makes the wise simple, causes rejoicing in the heart, and enlightens the eyes. The faithful are called to remember that we are blessed when others revile us and utter all kinds of evil against us falsely on account of Christ. We will rejoice and be glad, for our reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before us.
Fifth—We will put on shoes for our feet as having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. As we testify that Christ died for our sins and call sinners to repent and be forgiven in the name of Jesus, we will be prepared to kick the dust off of our shoes if they will not listen to our testimony about the Gospel. In so doing we shall turn them over to the tender mercies of Satan who is the father of all who harden their hearts against the Gospel.
Sixth—In all circumstances, we will take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. This will protect us from the slings and arrows of outrageous liberals (a.k.a budding Bolsheviks) who too often claim that good is evil and evil is good. The most powerful flaming arrow currently being employed by liars and deceivers is bearing false witness against their neighbor. Those who falsely accuse others of racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, climate-denying, or any other unbiblical accusation will be called to repent and be forgiven in the name of Jesus.
Seventh—We will take up the helmet of salvation. We know that God has already won the war against those who love evil, and this knowledge will embolden us to proclaim Christ without hesitation. Even if we lose every battle from now to the rapture, we know the end has already been determined.
Eighth—We will take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We are even now equipped with the power of God’s law to beat back the lies of the evil one, and with the Gospel to call those who defy God’s law to repent. This is our nuclear weapon, and it will be employed constantly and relentlessly until Christ returns for us.
The day of the Lord is fast approaching. There has not been a day more momentous than the one that is coming, for almost 2,000 years.
Yes, our government is corrupt, but it is only a reflection of the Laodicean Church that currently dominates the hearts and minds of the populace. God has saddled the nation with a corrupt government as judgment for our inexcusable lack of faith. We will remain submerged in this darkness until the nation returns to faith in the God who sent his only Son to die for our sins.
The wealthy global ‘elites’ of the world have seen how weak and decadent the church has become and have begun to pursue a worldwide tyranny that has not been seen since the Tower of Babel. They have purchased most of our politicians and apparently think they can purchase any new crop that comes in; and they may be right.
This tragedy will continue until what is left of our true churches emerge from slumber and do the job that Christ appointed them to do.
The churches of Nazi Germany thought they could hide in the tall grass in hopes that fascism would not come for them. History shows that they were terribly mistaken.
With this in mind, we will issue our new battle cry against the Laodicean Church. To paraphrase the great revolutionary Patrick Henry, “Give me the Gospel, or give me death.”
We enter into battle with the full understanding that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces in the heavenly places.
To that end, we will stay alert with all perseverance, making supplication for the remaining saints, that the word given to us in opening our mouths boldly to proclaim the mystery of the Gospel, for which we are ambassadors in chains.
