Two Great Days :: By Daymond Duck

A reader recently sent this Billy Graham quote to me as he spoke in a crusade. He said, “The first thought I have when I wake up in the morning is I wonder if He is going to come today. I would like to see Him come; what a day that’s going to be. All of our aches and pains are going to be behind us, all of our tears are going to be behind us, all of our problems are going to be solved. What a day that’s going to be!”

Actually, many Christians believe two great days are coming.

When the day of the Rapture arrives:

  • Every deceased Christian will be raised from the dead with an incorruptible, immortal body like Jesus had when He was raised from the dead.
  • The body of every living Christian will be changed into an incorruptible, immortal body like Jesus had when He was raised from the dead.
  • Christians will see their saved loved ones in heaven.
  • Christians will be taken to heaven for rewards.
  • Christians will be presented to Jesus for the marriage of the Lamb.
  • The Christian’s prayer to be accounted worthy to escape the Tribulation Period will be answered.
  • The salvation of multitudes by the preaching of the 144,000 and Two Witnesses will be near.
  • The blinding of Israel will soon cease, and all Israel will soon be saved.

When the day of the Second Coming arrives:

  • Satan will be bound, chained, and cast into the Bottomless Pit for 1,000 years.
  • The Antichrist and False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
  • The Restoration of planet Earth will begin.
  • Jesus will reign and be worshipped all over this earth.
  • There will be peace, justice, and righteousness on earth.
  • God’s covenants with Israel will be fulfilled.
  • Christians will reign with Jesus.

Christians should look forward to these two magnificent events taking place.

Here are some signs that we are getting close:

One, concerning world government: at the World Government Summit in Dubai (held Feb. 13-15, 2023), Klaus Schwab talked about Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots, and other advancements in technology.

Schwab said, “Who masters those technologies – in some way – will be the master of the world. Ten years from now, we will be completely different.”

(Note: An evil world government is coming that God will allow to exist for seven years, but the ultimate Master of the world is Jesus.)

Two, concerning world government: Elon Musk (he is not a Christian) recently said,

  • The World Economic Forum’s (WEF’s) Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda is Satanic.
  • The WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want.

In a video speech to the recent World Government Summit in Dubai, UAE (held Feb. 13-15, 2023), Musk said,

  • I know that this is called the World Government Summit, but I think we should be maybe a little bit concerned about actually becoming too much of a single world government. If I may say that, we want to avoid creating civilizational risk by having, frankly – this may sound a little odd – too much cooperation between governments.
  • We want to have some amount of civilizational diversity such that, if something just goes wrong with some part of civilization, the whole thing doesn’t collapse, and you know, humanity keeps moving forward.
  • A civilization collapse could lead to greater disaster than if nations were more independent.

As I understand it, Musk was saying a world government that has too much central control will collapse, and that could be worse than nations retaining their national sovereignty.

Three, on Feb. 17, 2023, The Gateway Pundit published a great article by author and TV personality Wayne Allyn Root that says, “The consequences of a stolen election (the 2020 presidential election) are all around us.”

I believe Root’s Gateway Pundit article is extremely important, and every U.S. citizen needs to know what it says.

Root was talking about inflation and famine when he said:

  • Grocery prices are skyrocketing.
  • Egg farms are burning to the ground.
  • Over 100 food plants have burned to the ground in the past year.
  • A mushroom cloud of deadly chemicals is floating over the farm belt, animals are dying, fish are dead, and people are sick.
  • Gas and energy prices are soaring.
  • Massive inflation is decimating the middle class.

Root was talking about the decline of the U.S. when he said:

    • The supply chain is crippled.
    • Highways, ports, and infrastructure are crumbling.
    • Trains are derailing.
    • Our federal energy reserve is being depleted.
    • Biden left $85 billion of our weapons in Afghanistan, he is shipping a lot of what is left to Ukraine, and America’s military is short on equipment.
    • America’s national debt and homelessness are exploding.
    • Not even one black child in 50 Chicago schools can do grade-level math.

Root was talking about surrendering the sovereignty of the U.S. and a population reduction when he said:

    • Our border is wide open, and criminals, terrorists, and drugs are pouring through.
    • Fentanyl kills over 100,000 Americans per year, and it sure seems like someone wants them dead.
    • Covid vaccinations are killing children and young athletes.

Root was talking about wickedness when he said:

    • Violent crime and retail theft are exploding.

Root was talking about tracking people when he said:

    • Our government is compiling a list of the unvaccinated.

Root was talking about corruption in Washington when he said:

    • The FBI and DOJ are prosecuting parents that protest the LGBTQ agenda, censoring conservatives and Christians, but releasing violent criminals.

Root was talking about the moral decline of America when he said:

    • Government, media, Hollywood, and schools are brainwashing society 24/7 with the LGBTQ and transgender ideology.

Root concluded that all this has to be the purposeful destruction of America, and he closed by saying, “A stolen election has unleashed the gates of Hell on America.”

(My opinion: This is just part of why I believe history is approaching the two great days mentioned above.)

Four, concerning the coming world religion: on Feb. 17, 2023, LifeSiteNews posted another great article by Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.

As I understand it, Vigano believes (and I agree) that:

    >Satan is behind the globalist hostility to Biblical morals and the spread of the gospel of Christ.

    >The green agenda, woke dogmas, and cancel culture are part of a globalist cult religion that is being promoted by the New World Order.

    >Globalists are using the World Health Organization (WHO), World Economic Forum (WEF), and other groups to draft laws that require everyone on earth to accept their morality (adherence to these global laws will not be optional).

    >Globalists are using these groups to draft laws to control what churches teach, what schools teach, what the media says, and to silence anyone and everyone who does not agree with them (freedom of religion and speech will not be allowed).

    >Globalists are using these groups to promote immorality (abortion, gay rights, gender mutilations, etc.), euthanasia, depopulation, etc., as meritorious, the common good, and the ethically right thing to believe and do to save the planet (and what the Bible says does not matter).

    >Globalists are drafting laws and policies that no one wants and no one asked for in the name of an unproven and unprovable crisis (climate change) that will make everyone’s life worse (eat worms, walk to work, use less energy, etc.).

    >The globalist religion is exclusive, and those that disagree with it must be dealt with (considered enemies of the common good, be re-educated by force, be forced to submit, etc.).

    >The list of people promoting this satanic global cult religion includes politicians, heads of companies and universities, actors, preachers, the Catholic hierarchy, and even Pope Francis.

Here is a link to the article:

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/abp-vigano-the-globalist-new-world-order-has-the-marks-of-the-antichurch-of-satan/?utm_source=daily-usa-2023-02-18&utm_medium=email

(My opinion: A global cult religion is a major sign that the above-mentioned two great days are approaching.)

(More: The fact that a highly respected conservative Roman Catholic Archbishop believes Pope Francis supports a satanic global cult religion that is hostile to Biblical morals and the spread of the gospel should not be taken lightly by Roman Catholics. Everyone, regardless of their faith, that opposes the agenda of the Antichrist during the Tribulation Period will be persecuted and probably killed.)

Five, concerning world government, I have recently reported that:

    >There were two globalist meetings in Jan. 2023 (The WHO International Health Regulations Review Committee, IHRRC, and the WEF Annual Meeting) that submitted proposals to be voted on at the upcoming WHO Assembly Meeting in May.

    >Francis Boyle, Prof. of Law at the Univ. of IL, studied those proposals and said they will set up a worldwide totalitarian medical and scientific police state and that every nation on earth could lose its national sovereignty if those proposals are approved.

    >One very dangerous aspect of those proposals is that the International Health Regulations (IHRs) will be changed from “non-binding” to “legally binding,” and WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus will be empowered to declare a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, whether there is a real one or not, just by saying that the “potential” for one exists.

    >If the IHRs become “legally binding” global laws in May, the only thing that is needed for one man to take over the medical and scientific sovereignty of every nation on earth is for Ghebreyesus to declare that the potential exists for the bird flu (monkeypox or whatever) to become a global pandemic.

    >On Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that the WHO’s proposed International Pandemic Treaty calls for: 1) A “One Health” global surveillance system to monitor and control diseases; 2) The 194 nations that belong to the WHO to be required to recognize the WHO’s authority over global health issues, and 3) The WHO to be allowed to impose its requirements upon all member nations.

    >On Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that a World Health Organization (WHO) official called for: 1) A strengthened WHO global surveillance system; 2) Standardized global medical care; 3) Everyone on earth that is 60 years old or older with an immunocompromised system (weakened immune system) to receive booster shots; 4) To require everyone that is at risk (everyone with underlying conditions, healthcare workers, etc.) to be vaccinated, and 5) To put patients that are hospitalized with Covid-19 on ventilators (which often terminates their life).

I am reminding readers of these previous reports because, on Feb. 18, 2023, The Epoch Times reported that the Biden administration is planning to sign a legally binding document (on Feb. 27, 2023, as I understood it) that commits the U.S. to obey these global policies.

On Feb. 19, 2023, The Gateway Pundit reported that “The amendments delegate the international body of unelected bureaucrats more authority to define what constitutes a pandemic, when a pandemic is in progress, how long a pandemic lasts and how ‘to prevent, detect and respond to future public health emergencies of international concern,’ ultimately delegating the WHO total authority over emergency operations in the U.S. during a ‘public health emergency.’”

(My opinion: I believe this will be a major step toward Regionalization and the rise of the Ten Kings; Regional Directors, Regional Czars, leaders over 10 regions in the world.)

Six, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Feb. 20, 2023, a 6.3 earthquake struck Turkey.

This earthquake struck exactly two weeks after the Feb. 6, 2023, quakes that killed almost 50,000 people in Turkey and Syria combined.

More buildings were damaged or destroyed, but injuries and death were light (initial reports said 6 deaths and more than 300 injured) because more than one million people are now in temporary structures (tents, etc.).

    Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Results of Divorcing the Rapture from the Gospel :: By Jonathan Brentner

Somewhere in the past, a tragic divorce occurred; theologians decided we must separate the return of Jesus for His church from the proclamation of the Gospel. The results of this untimely divorce have led to a dearth of understanding among believers regarding Jesus’ appearing and the joyful anticipation that comes with such awareness.

Confused believers hear that they will surely die rather than meet Jesus in the air, which directly contradicts the New Testament in passages such as 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17. The Apostle Paul believed there would be many saints alive at the time of the Rapture, but many preachers, even those that profess to be Bible-believing, disagree with him on this matter.

Many New Testament texts connect Jesus’ imminent appearing for His church with the Gospel hope of believers (Titus 2:11-14; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Cor. 1:7; 1 Thess. 1:8-10; 1 Cor. 15:51-55; Rom. 8:23-25). Jesus’ imminent appearing and our receipt of immortal, imperishable bodies were essential elements of the Gospel preached to the early saints. Why has this changed so drastically in our day?

The consequences of such negligence have been tragic. It has resulted in:

    1. A Near Blackout of Teaching About Our “Blessed Hope”

The divorce of the Rapture from the Gospel has resulted in a near blackout of teaching about our “blessed hope” in churches today. This negatively impacts new believers as well as seasoned saints; it leaves them ill-prepared to live in a fear-ridden society because such teaching provides no prophetic context into which they can place the violence and lawlessness of our day or the push for a New World Order.

The book of 1 Thessalonians reveals that the hope of Jesus’ soon appearing was an essential facet of the Gospel message Paul preached during his short stay in Thessalonica. Notice what the apostle wrote about its reception among the new converts:

“For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything. For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come” (1 Thessalonians 1:8-10).

Upon turning to Jesus, the new converts immediately began waiting for His appearing, aka the Rapture. Paul included the return of Jesus for His church in his preaching from the very beginning. Why else would they have responded to his message with an eager expectation of it?

The new converts in Thessalonica were so fixated on their soon departure from the earth that when some in their midst died, they grieved unnecessarily, thinking they would miss out on the Rapture (1 Thess. 4:13-19). In response, Paul emphasized the primary place of the “dead in Christ” during the Rapture, telling his converts that Jesus would resurrect them first at his appearing (4:16).

If the issue had been a failure to believe in a future resurrection, Paul’s response would’ve been similar to what he wrote in 1 Corinthians 15. Instead, he emphasized the role of the “dead in Christ” in the Rapture because that was the cause of their lingering sorrow.

In Romans 8:23, the apostle identifies a key aspect of Jesus’ appearing, “the redemption of our bodies,” and verse 24 says, “For in this hope we were saved.” Paul regarded the event we call the “Rapture” as a key aspect of his preaching because it signified the “hope” contained in the saving message of the Gospel.

Jesus promises eternal life to all who believe in Him. Our experience of it begins with His return for us, the Rapture, when He gives us immortal bodies (1 Cor. 15:51-55) and takes us to the place He has prepared for us (John 14:2-3).

The Rapture is the joyous future tense of the Gospel and a message that people so desperately need to hear.

    1. A Diversion of the Believers’ Focus to Earthly Aspirations

Another sorrowful result of this divorce is this: It takes the eyes of believers away from their ultimate hope at a time when they need such a focus. Instead, their eyes remain focused on earthly aspirations.

Very few pastors talk about what happens at the moment Jesus returns for His church (1 Cor. 15:51-55; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:16-17). Even those that believe these things never ever mention the believers’ hope of immortal bodies for fear that talking about the Rapture might hurt attendance.

If there was ever a time the saints needed to hear about their “blessed hope,” it’s now. Multitudes of young people are dying suddenly across the world. Natural and manmade disasters are claiming many lives and raising levels of fear. Threats of nuclear war abound; America and Russia are already at war with each other in the proxy conflict in Ukraine. The globalists warn of new pandemics and future crises, which frighten many because of their track record in correctly predicting such things.

I couldn’t begin to cope with all that comes across my news feeds apart from a prophetic perspective that assures me God is sovereignly in control of all things and that Jesus is coming for me before the Day of the Lord, just as He promised in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11. Apart from this joyous expectation, I would have to ignore all the threats prevalent in our world and somehow pretend they don’t exist.

Biblical prophecy puts current events in perspective and offers joyous hope for both those in Christ and outside of saving faith. Sermons that emphasize this life at the expense of the future tense of the Gospel perform a great disservice to the lives of many in the body of Christ.

    1. An Open Door to Wokeism and the Diminishing of Gospel Purity

The defense of premillennialism, which includes a belief in the Rapture, a literal seven-year tribulation, and Jesus’ thousand-year reign, is a long-term defense of the purity of the Gospel and a safeguard against Wokeism in the church.

During the fifth century AD, the majority of those in the church switched from premillennialism to the amillennialism advocated by Augustine, which he based on the allegorization of many prophetic texts in God’s Word as well as Platonism. Later, the church applied Augustine’s methodology of interpreting prophetic texts to Scripture passages related to the Gospel, and the purity of its message disappeared from the organized church during what we know as the “dark ages.”

The abandonment of justification by faith in the church began centuries earlier with the allegorization of biblical texts related to the millennial promises God made to Israel.

Once a pastor, church, or denomination relegates a prophetic passage to allegory, others apply this same methodology to other biblical passages, and false teaching ensues. It may not happen right away, but eventually, Scripture passages related to marriage begin to fall by the wayside, as evidenced by Andy Stanley, a longtime advocate of interpreting God’s promises to Israel as symbolism fulfilled now in the church.

Such altering of the intent of prophetic passages in the Bible opens the door to compromise with the “woke” culture. Maybe not for years down the road, but it will happen.

Whether for the sake of those coming to faith in Jesus or for those already in the faith, we must reunite the message of the Gospel with our “blessed hope.” The divorce of the two has done much damage to the purity of the Gospel throughout the history of the church.

My primary purpose for writing The Triumph of the Redeemed was to provide believers with a solid biblical foundation for placing their hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing, which most churches fail to provide to the saints.

    1. Silence Regarding Our “Blessed Hope”

The message of the Gospel is this: Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended to heaven, and is coming again to give us imperishable, immortal bodies and take us to the place He has prepared for us.

Jesus’ resurrection means that we, too, will live forever with bodies that will never grow old, get sick, or die. The church is far too silent on this all-important matter.

Titus 2:11-14 places our “blessed hope,” aka the Rapture, as a result of responding to the Gospel message:

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.”

The aversion to mentioning the “Rapture” has led to silence in many churches regarding the true meaning of our “blessed hope.” It’s not the Second Coming, but rather all the saints of the church age meeting Jesus in the air before the Tribulation period (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17).

If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, please see my post, Jesus Is the Only Path to Eternal Life. In it, I explain how you can know for sure that Jesus has forgiven all your sins and that you possess eternal life. Jesus is my risen Savior; He can give you bright hope for tomorrow regardless of the threats that come our way from a fallen world.

In conclusion: The tragic divorce of our “blessed hope” from the Gospel has tragically led to a focus on temporal outcomes within the church today, the loss of an excited anticipation of Jesus’ return for us, and the loss of preserving the purity of the Gospel that sadly impacts future generations who apply the same methodology used to deny premillennialism to other clear passages of God’s Word.

My book, The Triumph of the Redeemed-An eternal Perspective that Calms Our Fears in Perilous Times, is available on Amazon. In it, I provide further reasons for rejecting Replacement Theology and putting our hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing to take us home to glory.
