IN AN EVER-DARKENING WORLD, LOOK UP

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)

Apostasy and Doctrines of Demons

Pope Leo’s Mosque Visit Raises Serious Concerns Over Doctrinal Confusion. No surprise. The Catholic Church bears little resemblance to Christianity and has so many people deceived. Pope Leo’s Mosque of Algiers visit– where he expressed gratitude for being in “a place that represents the space proper to God”– raises serious questions about how the highest office in the Catholic Church chooses to represent Christian truth in the public square.

Would Luther Recognize This Church? ELCA’s Bishop Race Is Sign of the Times. Last weekend, the St Paul Area Synod of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America hosted “meet the candidates” forum for the next bishop. Of the 5 candidates, 3 are in openly same-sex relationships, and all are aligned with gender-affirming theology. Future leadership of the synod is drawn from a pool that already reflects a decisive shift from traditional biblical doctrine on sexuality and identity.

Pervasive Perversion

Decades-Long Study Blows Up Narrative That ‘Gender Reassignment’ Prevents Suicide. The left says “transgenderism” isn’t a mental health problem, while at the same time saying that people, especially minors, will kill themselves at greater rates if not quickly put on puberty blockers and put on track to mutilate their bodies.

Stopping Pro-Porn Librarians and Lawmakers. In Trump’s America, many think “woke” gender and sexual issues are settled. They should think again. Alaska proves it. The state’s lawmakers are currently advancing Senate Bill 238. The bill grants libraries represented by the American Library Association (ALA) sweeping power to stack kids’ shelves with pornographic material and to promote it, even when parents object.

The Evils of Islam

French soldier killed, 3 others wounded in attack on peacekeepers in Lebanon, Macron says. A U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon came under attack Saturday, leaving one French peacekeeper dead and three others wounded, two seriously. Macron and his UNIFIL blamed Hezbollah. The attack came after a 10-day ceasefire went into effect at midnight Thursday between Israel and Hezbollah.

Last Days Traitors

The Architecture of Jihad: Exploring the Communist-Islamic Axis. True Islam, in the Quran, demands firm adherence to Sharia Law and would result in a global Islamic caliphate featuring total persecution of all infidels (non-Muslims). And it is coming to the U.S. Despite ostensibly being in competition with Islam, Communists have created a Red-Green Axis, partnering with Muslims to destroy Western Civilization, formerly known as Christendom.

‘Make Her a Lesbian’: Lefty Lawyers Caught Coaching Migrants on Being Gay to Gain Asylum. BBC’s undercover investigation revealed how legal advisers are raking in cash by helping migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh apply for asylum by claiming to be gay, which would put them at risk of persecution in their home countries. Some lawyers are going as far as coaching migrants on how to fabricate photos and come up with their own back stories.

Economic and Food Insecurity

Drought, Diesel, And Fertilizer – Global Food Shock Could Be Coming. It’s two crises colliding at the worst possible moment. Across the US and much of the world, farmers are squeezed by a brutal combination of worsening drought and surging input costs–especially diesel fuel and fertilizer. Either challenge would strain the global food system. Together, they’re a “double whammy” that could ripple through grocery stores, economies, and households within months.

Weather Events

Severe weather causes damage across the Midwest. A trail of damaged homes and buildings dotted a wide swath of the U.S. after destructive winds and tornadoes tore off roofs, uprooted trees, and rendered rural roads impassable. No deaths were reported following Friday’s storms that delivered the latest round of severe weather to the Upper Midwest. Officials braced residents for a long recovery in some rural communities.

Wars and Rumors of War

Russia threatens to strike Israel-based drone production firm. The deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council said such facilities constitute “legitimate targets” for Russia’s military. He accused European countries of escalating the conflict by significantly increasing drone production in cooperation with Ukraine. The list names an Israel-based company with operations in Haifa as one of them.

‘A sentence for the next massacre’: Northern Israelis slam ceasefire, accuse government. Northern Israel residents were shocked by a temporary ceasefire with Lebanon. The head of Mate Asher Regional Council said without “lethal enforcement against Hezbollah for any violation” and a terror-free security zone to the Litani River, it’s not an achievement; it’s waiting for the next massacre. “Residents aren’t extras in an international public relations show.”

Intelligence capabilities fuel America’s game-changing naval blockade. The U.S. Navy is enforcing a strict maritime blockade against Iran, severing key economic lifelines by targeting Iranian oil exports and weapons-smuggling routes through the Persian Gulf while preserving freedom of navigation for regional allies. “The blockade applies solely to ports of Iran,” former Israeli Navy chief Vice Adm. Eliezer Marom said.

Iran reverses course on reopening Strait of Hormuz, signals warning to US. Iran reversed its decision to reopen the Strait, citing the ongoing U.S. naval blockade.  Multiple vessels have already been forced to turn around, and the IRGC reportedly opened fire on at least one ship. Trump said Friday the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports would remain in effect despite Iran announcing the Strait would reopen. He insisted Iran “cannot have a nuclear weapon.”

Iran’s economy could collapse within three months under naval blockade, experts warn. Iran’s economy, heavily dependent on oil exports, could collapse within that timeframe, likely accompanied by massive street protests due to an unprecedented surge in runaway inflation. Even without protests, continued economic pressure could lead to the complete collapse of Iran’s economy within a year.

Trump Says ‘Probably, Maybe’ Iran Talks to Resume This Weekend, ‘Not Sure’ About Ceasefire Extension. He appeared to confirm ceasefire talks with Iran are very up in the air, saying he doesn’t see the need to extend the two-week ceasefire – “not sure,” he said – also amid the ongoing US naval blockade of Iranian-China oil exports, or other sanctioned vessels. With no extension, the ceasefire expires April 22. “If there’s no deal, fighting resumes,” Trump affirmed.

Concluding Scripture

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28).

STARLINK DECLARES WAR ON COMETS:
Earlier this year, the number of Starlink satellites in Earth orbit surpassed 10,000. You can see the evidence in the sky: Dan Bush took this picture before sunrise on April 16th from Albany, Missouri. It’s supposed to be a picture of Comet PanSTARRS (C/2025 R3), but it contains far more satellites than comets–more than 35 Starlinks in the full-frame photo. “The ‘Starlink Zone of Maximum Reflection’ appeared right in front of the comet,” says Bush. “Stacking 30-second exposures helped alleviate the satellites, but they’re still there.” Bush’s photo is no fluke. In the past year, the number of comet photos criss-crossed by satellites submitted to our gallery has jumped more than 10-fold.

DARPA’s ‘Pulling Guard’ Program Could Solve the Strait of Hormuz Crisis—But Not Until 2029
As the U.S.-Iran war has turned the Strait of Hormuz into a strategic pressure point, one of the world’s most important maritime chokepoints now sits under the shadow of disruption, coercion, or outright closure. .. more than a year before this latest crisis erupted, the Pentagon quietly launched a program that now looks less like a speculative research effort and more like an early attempt to solve exactly this problem.

Middle East live: Trump welcomes Iran’s reopening of Hormuz Strait for rest of ceasefire

US President Donald Trump welcomed the move, thanking Tehran for reopening the critical waterway. Follow our liveblog for the latest updates.

Netanyahu says Israel’s job on Hezbollah not finished
Today’s Hezbollah is a shadow of its former self compared with Nasrallah’s glory days, Netanyahu said, referring to the Iran-backed group’s leader who was killed by Israel in 2024. “But we are not done yet. There are things we plan to do to deal with the remaining rocket and drone threats,” Netanyahu said, hours after a 10-day ceasefire came into effect.

Climate change and biotechnology agendas merge, as promoted by Associated Press
On 10 April, the Associated Press made the ridiculously false claim that “climate change” is outpacing evolution, putting 1 million species at risk of extinction. The claim was made to promote their “solution”: Genetic engineering of the natural world. Conservation genomics, AP said, will help species adapt faster than evolution normally allows. And of course, so AP claimed, reducing emissions and protecting habitats is also necessary. Anthony Watts explains why AP is talking a load of baloney.

Drone Incursions in the US are Massive
The US is starting to respond to drone incursions on US territory, but the response does not match the growing threats from drones, which are likely to get worse. In 2025, the last reporting information, the US tracked 34,000 drones along the southern border, a significant increase over 2024. The DEVCOM Armaments Center at Picatinny is a lead collaborator on projects like Project Golden Shields where the Army is developing autonomous counter drone systems and sensors. Golden Shield is designed to solve the problem of “drone swarms”

Looks like it’s going to be very good for everybody. And we’re very close to having a deal,” Trump told AFP. “… The strait’s going to be open, they already are open. And things are going very well.”

Opposition leaders including Lapid, Liberman, Eisenkot and Bennett are reportedly planning to offer Benny Gantz the presidency in exchange for him leaving politics.
Leaders of the opposition parties are planning to offer Benny Gantz the position of the next President of Israel in exchange for his leaving politics, Kan 11 News reported on Friday evening. According to the report, the proposal is expected to be made by Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman, the head of the Yashar party Gadi Eisenkot, and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The move would also include a unification of the parties, to be led by either Eisenkot or Bennett. In most of the recently published polls, Gantz’s party has been failing to pass the electoral threshold. The most recent Kan 11 News poll found that his party is receiving only 1.7% of the vote.

Yale University Admits Role in Crumbling Public Trust in Higher Education
Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut blamed itself and other elite colleges for having played a role in crumbling public trust in higher education in a new committee report published on Wednesday. Racial preferences in admissions, prohibitive sticker prices, declining academic standards, and advocacy of divisive progressive causes which polarized the American public to the point that “national divorce” became a byword on social media in recent years all contribute to a sense that elite higher education considers itself a class apart and above regular people, the report said. “trust in higher education has declined faster than in other institutions and sectors.”

Russia threatens to strike Israel-based drone production firm
Haifa-based firm identified as supplying critical communication modules for drones, according to Russia, which claims such components enable remote control systems used by Ukraine’s unmanned aircraft. Russia has threatened to strike drone production facilities across Europe supplying Ukraine, including a Haifa-based company identified by Moscow, as fighting intensifies and European support for Kyiv expands.

Warped Islamic Eschatology: Iranian Regime Hardliners Declare Trump To Be An Evil Apocalyptic Figure
As we continue to bear witness to the accumulation of end-times signs, it clearly points to one conclusion: the rapture is near. Of course, if the rapture is near, it means that the time of Jacob’s Trouble and the rule of the Antichrist is also near. But did you know that we are not the only people warning the world of an antichrist? Islamic hardliners are also becoming very vocal about the appearance of an antichrist figure. But they do not believe he is near, they believe he is here.

Pentagon ramps up plans for military operation in Cuba in case Trump orders direct intervention: report

Two sources … told USA Today on Wednesday that contingency plans are being developed in case President Donald Trump orders an intervention on the island nation. Trump has not announced plans to invade Cuba, but has floated the idea. Sources also told Zeteo earlier this week that the Pentagon was given a directive straight from the White House to prepare for possible military action in the Caribbean.

Britain’s Grooming Gang Nightmare: Media and State Complicity in the Industrial-Scale Rape and Sexual Slavery of Young British Girls by Muslim Migrants.
On 9 December 2025, MP Lowe delivered a devastating speech that should have dominated every front page in Britain. “What happened just yesterday?” he asked. “Two Afghan illegal migrants jailed for raping a schoolgirl…She filmed herself during the rape. Even the Afghanistan Rapist’s own lawyer warned it would lead to ‘disorder’ if it was released, as it was so horrific.”

Algeria: Suicide Attacks Target Pope Leo XIV Visit – Authorities Rush to Bury the Story
Two suicide bombers detonated their explosive vests in Blida, Algeria, on April 13, 2026 — the very day Pope Leo XIV began his historic first visit to the country. The attacks occurred approximately 40–45 kilometers southwest of Algiers. Both bombers were killed in the blasts. Several people were wounded, but there were no other fatalities.

Pope Leo XIV’s Mosque Visit Raises Serious Concerns Over Doctrinal Confusion.
Pope Leo’s visit to the Mosque of Algiers — where he removed his shoes, stood in silent reflection before the mihrab, and expressed gratitude for being in “a place that represents the space proper to God” — raises serious questions about how the highest office in the Catholic Church chooses to represent Christian truth in the public square.

Communism Is Sneaking Up on Us Americans; In Fact, It’s Nipping at Our Heels
“American people will never knowingly adopt socialism,” goes the saying generally attributed to Norman Thomas. “But, under the name of ‘liberalism,’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” The prediction has been shown to be prescient, say many. Media analyst and law professor James Hirsen warns, “Our crawl to communism has us practically there.”
