May 3: Iran Gave U.S. One-Month Deadline; Trump Responded By Starting New Operation In Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s economy is being suffocated by President Trump’s blockade of Iranian ports, and Iran gave the U.S. a one-month deadline to end it. Iran’s 14-point plan for ending the war is essentially a wish list of everything they ever wanted. Iran knows Trump doesn’t want a long war with midterms looming, so they insist he accept their framework within a month.
May 3: Trump: Iran war could be renewed if mullahs ‘misbehave.’ Responding to reports that Iran retains 15% of its ballistic missile capabilities, Trump said he’d “like to eliminate it” as it would constitute “a start for them to build up again.” He will be reviewing Iran’s latest proposal. He wants to settle the Iran issue through a deal or even military action “so nobody has to go back in 2 years or 5 years.” Trump indicated he’d reject Iran’s latest proposal.
May 4: CENTCOM eliminates 6 Iranian small boats attempting to interfere with commercial shipping. This follows Iran’s claims of hitting a U.S. warship, which CENTCOM denies, and reports of Iranian missiles and drones targeting UAE oil facilities. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent asserted US control over the Strait, stating Iran’s economy is in free fall due to naval blockades.
May 4: Trump Says Iran Attacked South Korean Ship in the Strait of Hormuz. South Korea’s foreign ministry reported the explosion and fire aboard the Namu, which is flagged to Panama and owned by South Korean shipping company HMM. The ship was anchored near the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and was within the Strait of Hormuz at the time of the incident.

Iranian airstrikes launched to retaliate for the U.S.-Israeli attack on the country have hit almost 230 U.S. military assets across the region, a review of satellite imagery by The Washington Post shows. The damage, the Post reported, exceeds that reported by the Defense Dept. The report comes a week after the dept’s head bean-counter low-balled the cost of the war during testimony before the U.S. House Armed Services Committee.
May 7: Trump calls US strikes on Iran a ‘love tap’ after destroyers targeted in Hormuz Strait
President Trump said Thursday that U.S. retaliatory strikes against Iranian targets were “just a love tap” and confirmed a ceasefire is in effect. He said, “the ceasefire is going” before adding, “It’s in effect.” American forces “responded with self-defense strikes” on Iranian targets after 3 Navy destroyers came under missile and drone fire from Iranian forces, but weren’t struck.
May 8: Iran says US Gulf strikes violated ceasefire after Trump called retaliation a ‘love tap.’
The comments came after U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said American forces carried out “self-defense strikes” against Iranian military targets after Iranian missiles, drones and small boats targeted three Navy destroyers transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Trump has insisted the ceasefire remains in effect despite the exchange.

It includes transcripts of astronauts reporting strange lights and objects during space missions in the ’60s and ’70s.
