What is war? A most basic definition would be: “conflict.” Conflict between two or more entities, with armies generally numbering in the thousands.
Human history is filled to the brim and overflowing with wars of all sizes. Feuds between family members or with neighbors, tribal wars, regional wars, civil and national wars, and international or world wars.
All of human history has been one long and continuous power struggle. People conquering other people by means of violence. The whole world has been one giant ever-evolving military-industrial complex hex. From the day Cain slew Abel (Genesis 4:8) with a blunt object, to the international nuclear proliferation that haunts our world in modern times. Especially in these last days.
In all of recorded history, it is estimated that mankind has been at peace a mere 8% of the time.
Wars started out small. The first weapons of war, other than hands and fists, were rocks or blunt objects like the one Cain used out of jealousy to murder his brother Able. Next came clubs and spears, swords, and then bows and arrows. Arrows were a big leap in advantageous war equipment in that, with them, people could kill other people from a greater distance.
Many centuries passed using this group of weapons along with slingshots, slings and catapults, siege ladders, and the like.
Also, sailing vessels converted to warships came into play.
Animals such as horses were greatly used in battle for individual warriors and to pull chariots and other equipment.
Then came the accidental discovery of gunpowder in China around 850 AD. That event, of course, led to primitive guns and explosives.
In time, ways were discovered to build bigger and more powerful guns and explosives called bombs. As the guns became more sophisticated, this proved to be a huge advantage over the weapons of the earlier centuries.
Wars and conflicts continued unabated century after century and, in modern times, became ever more brutal and ever more efficient as to the numbers of people killed in the conflict.
By the time WW1 rolled around, there were tanks and airplanes, heavily armed warships, and submarines.
Now, mankind could kill each other on land, at sea, under the sea, and in the air. Guided missiles were developed with warships and planes to deliver them.
An interesting aside is that around the mid-17th century, in Germany, the first “international” banker, Mayer Amschel Rothchild, realized what a fortune could be made from war.
He deduced that someone had to finance both sides in the wars and charge a hefty interest on the returns, someone had to own the facilities and factories where the weapons were made, and someone had to sell those weapons.
He had his five well-trained sons start major banks in other major European nations, and Bankster Rothchild and his boys got busy doing all of those things. Family ancestors have continued the practice to this day.
In retrospect, “a Cadillac is a good car to drive after a war.” Bob Dylan once said that in a song about those who profit from war. With inflation, that would translate today to a 30 million dollar Rolls Royce. I said that.
Newer and more powerful weapons were always needed along the way to balance the playing field and fill the pocketbooks, and yes, war is a game to some humans.
In the long history of wars, very few could be considered righteous wars, like when the Lord delivered the promised land into the hands of the Israelites.
Those wars were righteous because the Lord God of Israel had determined that the hourglass had run out of sand for the wicked nations who were inhabiting the lands of Caanan at that time. Their time of depravity and sin was up.
Like the people of Noah’s time, the nations of Caanan had descended 100% into evil.
That time coincided with The Lord fulfilling His promises of land to Abraham, Isacc, and Jacob (Genesis 15:18)
There have been times when the good were forced to defend the innocent against evil aggressors, but a great many wars were not righteous at all. Many wars found evil nations and evil leaders fighting against each other in attempts to fulfill their insatiable lusts for power.
For others, like the international banksters and their historic counterparts, wars were simply a way to become filthy rich off of the massive suffering of others.
In more modern times, brilliant scientists were hired and sometimes coerced into developing chemical weapons and atomics. By the time WW2 ended, every kind of weapon had been used somewhere and on someone.
World War 2 was thought to be a righteous war because the likes of Adolph Hitler had to be stopped. No two ways about it. Hitler greatly desired to rule the world, and his attempted genocide of the Jews was monstrously evil on a scale that could not be ignored.
Ironically, Joseph Stalin, who had helped the Allies stop Hitler, ended up murdering even more of his own Russian people than Hitler had slaughtered. Hitler is estimated to have killed about 14 million people.
With Stalin, the estimates are around 20 million, though some say as many as 60 million, counting the mass starvation Stalin imposed on Ukraine. Chairman Mao of China, between 1948 and 1952, brutally murdered 45 million of his own Chinese people in what he called “the Great Leap Forward.”
Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin each shamelessly demonstrated the level of murderous cruelty to the world that godless Marxist communists are capable of.
Although WW2 was considered a righteous war, the corrupt bankers and traitorous industrialists still made financial killings from that war.
Although WW2 was over in 1945, nations continued, with the help of some truly brilliant scientists, to create more and more powerful weaponry. Sometimes, reluctant scientists were coerced to comply via threats to the safety of their families. The warmongers of history have proven to be capable of whatever ruthless and despicable acts they deem required for them to march forward in their lust for blood and power.
Nuclear bombs far more powerful than the atomic bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima were created, along with powerful laser beams and even more lethal strains of bioweapons. All of these newer weapons were designed with highly complex delivery systems and pinpoint accuracy. Today, we even have attempts to disguise bioweapons as vaccines.
There is considerable evidence to suggest that laser beams from a satellite were used to ignite the fires that destroyed the famous old whaling town of Lahaina on Maui last year. It has not been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt just yet, or exactly why, but the globalist-owned media has swept the entire tragedy under the proverbial rug as the survivors who lost everything continue to struggle for justice and for answers.
All of the most recent mega-death weapons can be delivered from the ground, from ships and submarines, from planes, and from satellites circling high above the earth. And the technology keeps improving.
Electromagnetic-pulse weapons (EMPs), for example, can take out entire electrical grid systems of nations the size of the USA.
We have come all the way from two fellows in a fistfight or armed with some blunt object to the point where one person with one finger to push a button can obliterate millions of people on the other side of the planet in an instant while sipping on a cup of coffee.
This is the legacy of humankind in the so-called quest for peace on earth, as promised to us by our elected leaders. Especially our wannabe elected leaders when campaigning.
Of course, it is the bought-and-paid-for politicians who always promise peace.
Unfortunately, throughout history, some version of the “Old Boys Club,” whose membership is owned and financed by the elites, has long existed to ensure that those who profit from war continue to do so.
These puppets called politicians help to create the wars that keep the profits flowing. They do this often by spreading a false narrative or by creating a false flag event to rile up the populace and through agitation and backroom deals.
Also, symbolically speaking, when genies are let out of their bottles, they generally do not like to go back in.
Case in point, even the earlier primitive weapons are all still around, with clubs and knives still favored by muggers.
Weapons of war were not built to collect dust.
Now, multiple nations on this earth have nuclear capability, and many others are developing or pursuing the technology.
Some — like Iran, which has been working feverishly to develop nukes — have vowed to use them.
The Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran (ancient Persia) has vowed to blow the modern nation of Israel off of the face of the earth. As of this writing, it is believed Iran is weeks away from their goal of possessing nukes.
The Islamic terrorist viewpoint is based on an inflexible theological belief system.
The Shiite Muslim cult that rules Iran is able to justify the cold-blooded mass murder of innocent people as the will of Allah. They believe it pleases Allah.
There are no words to describe their mindless, seething hatred for Jews and for the tiny nation of Israel.
They believe they are called and chosen by Allah to blow up Israel and kill all Jews and anyone else who stands in the way of imposing Sharia Law upon the world. They also believe that their actions will induce the return of the 12th Imam to bring order to the world through Sharia law and to the chaos they themselves help to establish.
This vision also includes Jesus, who they believe will help the 12th Imam secure the planet under the banner of Islam. Completely delusional? Yes, but try and tell them.
During the Cold War in the 1950s and 1960s, America and the former Soviet Union recognized each other’s ability to destroy each other and mutually agreed not to. This was referred to as “Mad” or Mutual Assured Destruction.
It was a standoff, a stalemate, a tie game, and common sense prevailed. The powers that ruled at that time understood that the whole game would be over and both sides would have lost everything.
They didn’t want to lose their wealth and power, and it was a good thing they didn’t because we American kids hiding under our desks at school during bomb drills did not feel safe at all.
Individual terrorists and terrorist-supporting regimes like Iran do not share the same mentality as the USSR and USA leaders, who mutually agreed to refrain from pushing the nuclear buttons in the days of the Cold War. The theology that the death-loving Islamists’ so fervently embrace does not allow for such things as common sense or placing value on the lives of others.
Whereas most national leaders of nations possessing nuclear weapons would bow to common sense, those with the mindset of glorifying Allah through murdering infidels would not bow down to common sense or common decency or common anything. They are, after all, the descendants of Ishmael.
Ishmael, the wild donkey of a man who was unable to get along with anyone including his own. Ishmael, the man who seems to have endowed his anti-social character traits to his descendants in great abundance (Genesis 16:12).
If given the opportunity, the Iranian Ayatollah would not only use nuclear weapons but seems to be burning with the desire to do just that.
The worldwide geopolitical situation grows not less but more dangerous with each passing day. There are wars such as the Israeli war with Iran proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi in Yemen, and the ongoing Russian war with Ukraine. There are about 40 other smaller wars going on, and the “rumors of wars” are being spread and heard with every passing day on social media.
There is an expanding division between hearts and minds as to who supports who across the globe, and a worldwide expansion of hatred toward Israel just as Bible prophecy (Zechariah 12:3 and 14:1-21) said would happen. We can see that we are on a collision course, not with peace on earth like the politicians promise, but with mutual annihilation.
There is much talk of China attacking Taiwan and many rumors of war about another even bigger war. It is called World War 3.
It has gotten to be where there is such a lack of common sense all across this globe that a new acronym should be put up for consideration. “AMD” or Assured Mutual Destruction. “And there will be wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not troubled for these things must take place before the end shall come” (Matthew 24:6-8).
Jesus also said no flesh would be saved were He not to return (Matthew 24:22-24).
It is not at all difficult to see at this point how true that statement by Jesus is and how easily it could happen were He not to return. Think about that for a minute.
If this whole ongoing wars and rumors of wars saga was allowed to play out, no flesh would be saved. There wouldn’t even be a last man standing.
Between the massive number of nukes, the laser weapons from space, and the deadly bio-weapons, the psychopathic tyrants would simply exterminate the entire human race. There might be a handful of billionaires that survive for a little while in their lavish underground bunkers, but the earth’s surface would be rendered uninhabitable for many generations.
The good news is that this is not going to happen according to the ancient Hebrew prophets and Jesus Himself. There are promises of deliverance from the horrors of war and the demonic nimrods that perpetuate it upon us.
There are only a few rumors of war of the prophetic kind left to be fulfilled. The Psalm 83 war that some believe is happening now, some believe is still future, and some believe already took place in 1948 is one of them. See Psalm 83 for details. The Ezekiel 38-39 war with Russia, Iran, and Turkey leading an assault on Israel is certainly still to come, but we can see the alliance between those three major players is up and running and growing stronger every day. These, along with the Battle of Armageddon, are not really “Rumors of War” like so many others but rather prophesied events that, on the certainty of the Word of God, will take place.
Yes, the world is becoming an increasingly scary place, and yes, the intervention of Almighty God would be most welcome.
As to any last righteous wars, after what the sub-barbarians of Hamas did on Oct. 7, 2023, it is not hard to understand the Israeli need to wipe out the demonic Amalek-like horde known as Hamas. The Amalekites were a nomadic tribe who were descendants of Esau. They attacked the Israelites from behind in the desert after the Israelites had been led out of captivity in Egypt by Moses. Similar atrocities to what Hamas did were committed by the Amalekites against Israel, and thus the comparison (Exodus 17:8; Numbers 14:45). Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently quoted scripture regarding Amalek.
The question remains: will Bibi follow the command that the Lord gave the ancient Israelites on how to deal with Amalek, or will he make the same mistake that King Saul made?
Mr. Netanyahu should know by now that caving in to international pressure and walking down the road to appeasement has brought nothing but heartache and despair to the modern nation of Israel. See Deuteronomy 25:17-19 to view the instructions the Lord gave to Israel regarding Amalek and the Amalekites.
Then, there is the very last war that is on the Lord’s agenda. The Battle of Armageddon.
That last looming battle at the end of the seven-year Tribulation, where the unrighteous, God-hating, and unrepentant armies of this evil world will be assembled in the Valley of Jehoshaphat for the final futile fatal attempt of Satan and his God-hating minions to defeat the Creator of the Universe. The one last ditch effort by the fallen angel known as Lucifer to try and prevent the Will of God from being done.
These armies of Satan will come from the four corners of the globe armed with the most powerful weapons that have evolved over time ever since unrighteous Cain smashed his righteous brother Abel over the head with that infamous blunt object.
After Cain did his dastardly deed, he, although cursed, went on to live. The same cannot and will not be said for those participating in the final battle.
The last righteous war.
The end of war and an end to all of the hideous creatures that employ it, enjoy it, and profit from it. That will include the antichrist and his false prophet and all of the nations led by WEF young leaders trained by heir Klaus Schwab.
The kings of the East and every other nation that has rejected the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit will all be there. Gathered together in one place with arrogance on full display. It is not clear just exactly how much time they will have to realize the enormity of their miscalculations.
Revelation 19:11-16, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in white linen, fine and clean, followed Him on white horses.
“Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of Iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”
And then there will be peace. It will be the last of wars and rumors of wars. The last of vicious warmongers. The last of the greedy lovers of money and power and the last of them making insidious profits from their evil endeavors.
War will be learned no more. Swords will be beaten into plowshares.
Jesus will not need to rule those who truly love Him with a rod of iron.
No, it will be whoever survives the Tribulation and does not yet know Him and love Him that will need to be ruled with a rod of iron. Jesus is not going to let anyone — including any self-serving billionaires that might survive — throw a monkey wrench into His plans for a millennium of peace and justice.
And so, for the sake of my children and grandchildren, family and friends, fellow believers, and all who long for peace on earth, I am praying for it to happen just like our Heavenly Father, the Holy God of Israel, says it will happen. I, like my fellow remnant church believers, am so very sick of evil.
Dear Adam and Eve, we have seen what that hideous thing called evil looks like, and it is thoroughly repulsive. We much prefer the blessedness of goodness. We don’t want to be like God; we want to praise Him and worship Him. We want to fill entire stadiums with believers of all races and colors and sing praises to Him. We want to worship Him and adore Him now and forever.
Yet, in conclusion, I must say that not mine but God’s will be done. I believe He delays for the sake of a few more souls that can be saved.
