Hurricane Helene has left at least 42 dead [update 52] across the Southeast US. Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane in Florida’s Big Bend region Thursday night. It’s now weakened to a tropical depression and is moving north across the Southeast, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, considered “life-threatening” conditions. Over 4 million are without power across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia amid fears that outages could last weeks.
Central Europe has been ravaged by floods, brought on by Storm Boris, that have caused billions of dollars of damage and killed at least 24 people.
Level 5 emergency alert issued after devastating floods hit Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture. The region suffered torrential rains from Sept. 20-21. One person was killed; over 10 are missing.

Ukraine wants permission to use long-range missiles provided by us to strike targets all over Russia, which would cross red lines Russia has established. Iran-backed Hezbollah launched rockets across a wider, deeper area of northern Israel, pointing to civilian areas; Nazareth was hit the hardest. Israeli aircraft hit hundreds of militant sites, thwarting a larger attack by Hezbollah. Lebanon was hit with a massive bomb. Events have pushed both sides to the brink of a precipice, and it appears the world will soon be changed in an apocalyptic war.
Russia updated its nuclear doctrine this week in an attempt to modernize its defense strategy in response to Western military and political actions. Under the new policy, Russia reserves the right to use nuclear weapons if it is attacked by a massive airstrike via drones, missiles, aircraft, etc., and it believes its sovereignty is threatened.

Hezbollah battle plan to conquer Israel revealed. This is the major attack planned against Israel that IDF is currently destroying in Lebanon. Hezbollah has thousands more forces trained and prepared to attack Israel, stationed in Syria and Iraq.
Biden and Macron team up against Israel, Netanyahu rebuffs, ground forces prepare. Today’s ceasefire rumors are more than just rumors – they are part of a concerted effort by the US and French governments to undermine Israel’s ability to defeat its enemies.
All-out war in the Middle East seems all but inevitable as Israeli forces gear up to cross the border. IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Hagari emphasized that strikes in Beqaa would be widescale, and warned Lebanese citizens to leave areas in which Hezbollah weapons are embedded, which includes homes. Israel struck 1,600 Hezbollah targets on Monday; 492 killed and over 1,645 injured. Many of the strikes focused on homes where Hezbollah stored rockets, drones, and other weapons.

There are unverified reports claiming Houthis have arrived in Syria over many months, dispatched to Damascus and southern Syria. The presence of Houthi operatives and tens of thousands of Iranian-backed combatants from other Shi’ite militias could signal a concrete threat in the form of a ground-specific or extensive invasion of Israel’s territory in the Golan Heights. If all-out war breaks out between Hezbollah and Israel, southern Syria in particular will constitute a central arena from which Shi’ite militia operatives will operate.
