Age verification is coming for the internet — and it’s already raising red flags
Legislative efforts to age-gate parts of the internet are gaining traction. Some experts warn of compliance complications and data security breaches. What began as an effort to bolster kids’ safety online has morphed in recent months into a broader debate over privacy and anonymity on the internet.

US weekly jobless claims decline as labor market remains stable
The number of Americans filing claims for unemployment benefits fell last week, suggesting labor market conditions remained stable, though employers are cautious about hiring new workers as the conflict in the Middle East casts a shadow over the economy. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 11,000 to a seasonally adjusted 207,000 for the week ended April 11,

Chicago Democrats Deny Scholarships to Students to Spite Trump
Chicago Public Schools (CPS) has long suffered from abysmal test scores and plummeting enrollment. But instead of addressing those crises, the current top priority for school officials appears to be opposing President Donald Trump by denying students potential new education funding. On April 8, in a 15-0 vote with several abstentions, the Chicago Board of Education approved a resolution “formally [urging] the Illinois General Assembly and the Governor of Illinois to reject any legislation… or federal incentive program” to “create, expand, subsidize, or otherwise reintroduce school voucher programs in the State of Illinois.”

OPEC for Americas? Iran Conflict Solidifies U.S. Focus On Western Hemisphere Oil
Oil supply disruptions from the conflict with Iran may present the perfect opportunity for the United States to reorder the global energy market by exploiting its own natural resources and investing in the Western Hemisphere. American companies have already begun ramping up investments in Latin America, closing new deals with a freshly compliant Venezuela and friendly Argentina in recent days that promise new capacity in the hemisphere.

Satellite photos show Iran oil island on fire in Persian Gulf
Iran has lost the first oil storage tank in its weekslong war with the United States and Israel, according to new satellite imagery released this week. A photograph, captured on April 15 by the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2 satellites, showed smoke rising from the site of a crude oil storage facility on Sirri Island, an Iranian oil terminal in the Persian Gulf. The damage—first reported on Thursday by the shipping-monitoring group TankerTrackers.com—appeared to cost Iran at least one large tank capable of storing 1 million barrels of crude oil, about one-fifth of the island’s capacity.

Is Pope Leo’s Brother MAGA? What We Know as Trump Praises Louis Prevost
“I have nothing against the Pope. His brother is MAGA all the way,” Trump told reporters during a press gaggle outside of the White House before he headed to Las Vegas. “I like his brother. I’m not fighting with him. I can disagree with the Pope. I have a right to disagree with the Pope. This is the real world. It’s a nasty world. If the Pope would allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon, he cannot do that.”

Donald Trump Issues Warning on Missing, Dead Scientists: ‘Serious Stuff’
President Donald Trump has been briefed on the 10 U.S. scientists that have either disappeared or died in the past few years, calling the situation “pretty serious stuff.” Trump issued the warning a day after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the administration would look into the cases. The remarks come amid growing scrutiny and unanswered questions surrounding multiple scientists whose disappearances or deaths have drawn national attention and fueled concern within the scientific community.

Trump Says ‘Probably, Maybe’ Iran Talks To Resume This Weekend, ‘Not Sure’ About Ceasefire Extension
Trump says “probably, maybe” Iran talks resume this weekend, “not sure” about ceasefire extension. Iranian report (unconfirmed) says Bab al-Mandab could be forced close tomorrow.

US Army Trials Unmanned Hunter Wolf Robot With Gun, Radar In Combat Drills
Fresh imagery dropped on Monday by the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service shows a Hunter Wolf unmanned ground vehicle rolling with the 101st Airborne Division during a full-on combat simulation at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) in Louisiana. The display amounted to a serious stress test in one of the Army’s roughest training environments – where ideas either prove they work or get ditched fast.

Secret Service Targets Thieves Stealing SNAP Benefits In Texas
Fraudsters used special devices to skim card information from electronic devices used to read food stamp cards in northern and central Texas, the U.S. Secret Service’s Dallas Field Office reported April 15.  “EBT fraud is a serious threat impacting families nationwide,” said Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Office Christina Foley. “Our investigative teams are committed to dismantling these skimmer operations and holding perpetrators accountable.”

US-brokered Israel-Lebanon talks: “We’re on the same side against Hezbollah”
The meeting between Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, and Lebanon’s Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad was framed by both sides not as a negotiation between enemies seeking recognition, but as a coordinated effort to confront a shared destabilizing force that has dominated the Israel-Lebanon border for decades. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and senior American officials facilitated the discussions, signaling that Washington views the moment as an opportunity to reshape the region’s security reality.

The Pope, Iran, and My Being Sentenced to Death as a Christian in Iran
Only after my release from Iran’s notorious Evin prison in 2009 did I begin to learn about the extent of the wide, grassroots support my friend and I received from around the world. At one point, a senior prison official angrily let me know about the large number of letters of support sent to us in prison, though we were never given access to any of them. The number must have been vast, in that it’s believed that the widespread pressure on the Islamic regime was at least in part responsible for our being released from death row, fearing the possibility of being executed by hanging at any time.

Pentagon widens efforts beyond blockade of Iranian ports
The U.S. military has widened its efforts beyond the blockade of Iran’s ports. The Pentagon says it’s allowing its forces around the world to stop any ship tied to Iran or those suspected of carrying supplies that could help its government. Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine says the U.S. would be targeting vessels in other areas, like the Pacific, that had left before the blockade began earlier this week. The military also detailed a long list of goods it considers contraband, declaring that it will board, search and seize them from merchant vessels “regardless of location.”

WATCH: ‘Israelism’ is the new religion of Trump, says Carlson
Tucker Carlson bizarrely claimed that President Trump and the United States have abandoned Christianity in favor of a new religion he calls “Israelism”—a swipe at the administration’s close ties with the Jewish state.

Trump declares Israel-Lebanon ceasefire
“I will be inviting Bibi Netanyahu and the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, to the White House for the first meaningful talks between Israel and Lebanon since 1983,” Trump wrote. In a dramatic post on Truth Social Thursday afternoon, President Donald Trump announced a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. “I just had excellent conversations with the Highly Respected President Joseph Aoun, of Lebanon, and Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel,” Trump wrote, adding that both leaders “have agreed that in order to achieve PEACE… they will formally begin a 10 DAY CEASEFIRE at 5 P.M. EST.”

US intends to lead Hezbollah disarmament, senior Israeli official tells ‘Post’
A senior Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post that, unlike in the past, the United States now intends to actively lead efforts to disarm Hezbollah and is prepared to use American resources to achieve this goal. “Trump wants this to happen, so this time the US will be far more involved,” the official said.

March heat in the U.S. was the largest temperature anomaly ever recorded
Heat usually doesn’t define March, a month that still carries a hint of winter’s last breath. This year, it felt more like a preview of late spring, and sometimes even early summer. Weather records are meant to be broken now and then. That is how climate works over long periods. What stands out now is how often it is happening and how many records fall at once. Over 19,800 daily heat records were broken in a single month.

Claims that extreme weather is increasing is fraudulent pseudoscience
John Clauser, Nobel Prize winner in physics, presented at a Climate Change conference, questioning proof of a climate “crisis.” He highlighted a 2012 article authored by two NOAA “scientists,” which fraudulently claimed extreme weather events were increasing due to climate change. To prove the article fraudulent, Clauser plotted the NOAA researchers’ graph backwards and challenged the audience to identify which graph proved extreme weather was increasing.

What In The World Is Happening On The Bottom Of The Pacific Ocean?
Something is causing the Pacific Ocean to really heat up: water temps way above normal, and records shattered. As a result, powerful storms are being spawned, and we’re warned a “Super El Niño” could be on the way. What’s causing this? Experts are offering all sorts of explanations, but I’m convinced it has to do with what’s been happening on the Pacific Ocean bottom.

EVIL: Cuban Political Prisoner Released After Surviving ‘Nazi Concentration Camp’ Conditions For Five Years
“Political dissident Alexander Diaz Rodriguez was imprisoned in Cuba following the 2021 protests against communism there. He survived what’s described as the next best thing to a Nazi concentration camp for the crimes of “disrespect” and “public disorder.” Thousands were put in Cuba’s prisons and still suffer there as political prisoners.”

Prices For Physical Oil and Fertilizer Go Absolutely Nuts As a “Summer of Shortages” Looms On the Horizon
“Most people still seem to believe the war in the Middle East will rapidly come to a conclusion and economic conditions will return to normal soon. Meanwhile, the price of oil and fertilizer are going nuts, and we’re warned a “summer of shortages” is looming on the horizon if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. What we’ll face in the months ahead depends upon the war’s duration. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear a peace deal with Iran will happen any time soon.

Canada Is Burning Its Churches. 96% of Cases Go Unsolved. And The Government Calls It “Understandable.”
Between 2011 and 2014, Canada averaged roughly 39 arson attacks per year on religious institutions. In 2021, that figure jumped to 90. It held at 74 in 2022 and 2023. A 2025 report confirmed that arson against Canadian houses of worship had more than doubled as a share of all arson nationally.

Asylum Seekers Pretend to be Gay to Stay in UK, Report Finds
An undercover BBC investigation has reported that a shadow industry of legal advisers and intermediaries has been charging migrants thousands of pounds to help fabricate asylum claims based on sexuality, with some clients allegedly coached to pretend to be gay in order to remain in the UK.

Uncertainty over fuel supplies after major fire at oil refinery in Geelong
A fire has broken out at one of the two remaining oil refineries producing fuel for Australians, with emergency services responding to reports of “explosions and flames.” The blaze has raised concerns about fuel supplies as it produces 50% of Victoria’s and 10% of Australia’s fuel. Nobody was injured in the fire, which was extinguished around midday.

Those That Are Crying Out “Peace, Peace” When There Is No Peace Are Going to Be Deeply Disappointed
Mainstream media assures us we’re on the verge of Middle East peace. But it’s raged since Oct 7, 2023. There will never be peace as long as the Shiite regime in Iran exists. We see endless headlines about a potential end to the Ukraine war, but it’s raged since early 2022, no end in sight. Apparently there are preparations for a U.S. military operation in Cuba. Nothing wrong with optimism, but media voices constantly crying “peace, peace” are going to be disappointed.

70% of U.S. Farmers Say They’ll Not Be Able to Purchase All the Fertilizer They Need in 2026
If farmers don’t grow our food, we don’t eat. At the year’s start, we already faced the worst farming crisis in the US in at least 50 years: farmers drowning in debt, and farm bankruptcies soaring. The Strait of Hormuz crisis made things much worse. Spring planting season is here, and there’s a global scramble for whatever supplies of nitrogen fertilizer are available. As a result, prices have skyrocketed, and farmers worldwide are facing incredibly tough choices.

Sharia in the Badge: NJ Police Leaders Cheer First Hijabi Deputy’s Allegiance Over the Constitution
RAIR TV exposes the alarming conquest from within while Americans were distracted. New Jersey’s top law enforcement leaders proudly celebrated Huda Shalabi, the first hijab-wearing Muslim sheriff’s deputy in Passaic County, whose veil is a public declaration of Sharia supremacy now embedded in the uniform sworn to defend the U.S. Constitution, the latest front in the nationwide Islamization of American policing.
