(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)
Recent events, domestically as well as worldwide, seem to have taken on an amazing life of their own.
There is so much happening simultaneously in the way of prophetic alignment that is obvious, and there is so much taking place that is not so prophetically obvious (except perhaps to those of us who comprise the “Watchmen” mindset {Ezekiel 33:6}), that it stirs the soul and spirit and our admiration of God’s power to try and comprehend it all.
It is actually somewhat difficult to determine what to write about due to the volume and the rapidity of events on a daily basis. There is a blessing in the certain knowledge that God is handling it.
I don’t think there is a better way to express this phenomenon than our brother Terry James has done in the below article that appeared today (5/22) in the RR right-hand writer’s column.
His article captures the exact sense of convergence, surging, and undulation that I am trying to wrap the spiritual part of my brain around. Thank you, Terry James!

Some things that I have mentioned in past articles in terms of trying to caution my readers about investing their hope in human endeavor have only become more amplified over the past few months, notably related to President Trump’s dynamic actions and their effects both here and around the world.
One man having such a world-altering impact is one of those examples of prophetic harbingers that are not quite so obvious on the face of things.
What I am not saying: Is that President Trump is the antichrist.
What I am speculatively saying: Is that he may very well be one of the Lord’s purposeful indicators to make those who are willing to observe their surroundings aware of how one man’s leadership can actually cause earth-altering consequences.
I don’t think there can be very much in the way of doubt that the Lord preserved Trump’s life from the attempts to kill him for the purpose of using him to bring about His will in what, at least for the moment, appears to be a very notable increase in prophetic activity.
Having said that, it is also obvious, at least to me, that the President does not have the least idea of what he is truly dealing with when engaging in “peace talks” with the powers in the Middle East nations that so hate Israel that they willingly sacrifice their own future and their children’s lives in an orgy of hatred that even they do not understand.
I believe he is being wrongly advised through ignorance of the scriptures, or maliciously advised by those who wish him (and as a result, us) harm. Or, perhaps, he just isn’t listening because he doesn’t wish to. We can’t know, but God does know.
Also, there is great danger to this country if this activity results in the dividing of the land of Israel for any reason whatsoever (Joel 3:1-3).
If we are entering into a “golden age,” it will be by God’s will, for His purposes, and very temporary, as His Word declares. Perhaps, if it were to happen, it might be a test to separate those who are sold out to the world from those who put their trust in Him?
No number of “deals” or slathering with vast sums of money (that we don’t have) will lead to any semblance of actual peace.
It will instead result in a pause, a “hudna” if you will, because the hatred of the “peace partners” is so deeply embedded that it is incurable.
God’s Word calls it a “hardening of heart,” and it has gone on for a very long time.
In my opinion, Trump needs a new “spiritual advisor” who understands that the “church” does not replace Israel in God’s future plans. Neither will it succeed in “preparing the world” for His return.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19).
This new spiritual advisor should be one who understands and believes and advises him that the following verse from the Old Testament does not have an expiration date, just like every other letter, jot, or tittle in the written Word of God.
“Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: ‘If this fixed order departs from before Me,’ declares the LORD, ‘Then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before Me forever.’
“Thus says the LORD, If the heavens above can be measured And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel For all that they have done,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 31:35-37).
President Trump should also understand that the 100% accurately fulfilled prophecies in His Word clearly tell anyone who will listen and believe Him the following:
“Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’” (Isaiah 46:9-10).
The prophetic Book of Revelation declares the ultimate end of history, and God allows no room for the hubris of man being his own savior.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9).
The things President Trump is doing need to be done, especially in terms of restoring the rule of law here in America. His motives for doing them cannot be discerned, and they will not change what God has determined to be the final outcome.
This is what needs to be understood by him in order that he can approach these efforts to pursue peace in harmony with the Sovereign and Only God.
Either way, he is only God’s servant. Just as in the case of Moses or Cyrus, God’s plans will be achieved with or without his understanding of what he is doing.
As for the True Church, the Bible believing, Christ-honoring and worshipping Church, we must not be shaken or moved from the Solid Rock on which we stand – the written Word and the Living Word: Jesus Christ.
Sisters and brothers, the bewildering array of amplified human events, the deceptions, lies, and constant conflicting reports can be almost overwhelming.
Stay the course, hold fast to the God of our salvation. He will not fail, and He will prevail.
The special message I promised you:
For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.
You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.
It requires that you come before God on His terms and that you do so in your living years.
And, what are His terms according to His Word?
- Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
- Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
- That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
- To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
- Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross and rose from the grave three days later, conquering death, just as He promised.
- To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.
God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.
- No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
- No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
- Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.
If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.
“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).
There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.
The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
