The Terminal 180-Degree Inversion :: By Dave Hubley

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

On all common mechanical compasses, the red half of the compass needle always points toward the north. If you were to turn 180 degrees, the red half of the needle would still be pointing toward the north. (On some compasses, the needle is designed to look like an arrow but performs the same function). You need only align the “N” on the compass face with the red (or the arrowhead) on the needle to know where the four points of the compass are related to your current location. A properly functioning compass allows you to navigate with complete confidence that you will arrive at your destination when the appropriate amount of time and distance has been completed.

In other words, you CAN know where you are going to end up.

“Science” tells us that there is a condition where the poles of earth (North being “0 or 360” degrees and South being 180 degrees as has been normal since recorded history began) can shift 180 degrees (called a polar inversion), resulting in South and North exchanging their magnetic fields. There is some degree of uncertainty as to what would result if that were to happen or even if it might ever happen.

It could result in chaos were the Lord to allow it.

A 180-degree inversion is also a good way to describe a human-generated attempt to turn Biblical Truth on its head.

God’s Word also tells us of the man-made attempts to manufacture a 180-degree inversion (without calling it such) as it applies to His Word.

It will be attempted by Godless humans, as the Word of God indicates.

God, as ever, in His Mercy, tries to warn man of the consequences of rebellion.

His Word is not ambiguous as to what will be the inevitable result.

In this well-known Bible verse from the prophet Isaiah, the ominous folly of God-rejecting modern man is revealed:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21).

The above can be referred to as “polar opposites” or if you will, a “180-degree inversion.”

Biblical use of the word “Woe” is never good news for individuals, nations, or kingdoms at whom it is directed.

Some contemporary examples of present-day attempts to employ a man-made 180-degree inversion on the fixed creation of God are:

  • Males can menstruate.
  • Males can become pregnant.
  • Gender can be changed by drugs and/or surgery.
  • Legislation by governments sold as being intended for the welfare of children and then used to (humanly) legalize their murder by abortion.

There is really no need to expand upon the above list, as these few examples are so contemporary and extraordinarily ridiculous on their face that nothing else need be said.

Anyone who is following current events knows that this list is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg at this point in history.

God’s Word provides the simple yet clear reason for the state of mankind at the present time:

“The fool has said in his heart: ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good” (Psalm 14:1).

Woe unto you.

The current global governance plan referred to as the “Great Reset” is also addressed by the Word of God:

1) “Woe to those who devise iniquity and plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they accomplish it because the power is in their hands.

2) They covet fields and seize them; They take away houses. They deprive a man of his home, a fellow man of his inheritance” (Micah 2:1-2).

Below is a contemporary quote from today’s news that is intended for all but the so-called elites. It is, of course, not part of the “mainstream news”:

“You will have nothing, and you will like it.”

It is a statement by the powers seeking to establish a “New World Order,” which is a humanistic code for a world government in defiance of God.

Below the radar, it is being directed by Satan.

The statement itself is currently a “below the radar” reality.

However, here are a few more “realities” that cannot be ignored or avoided:

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

“Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'” (Isaiah 46:9-10).

“The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalms 33:10-12a).

Woe unto you.

Brothers and Sisters. God has, through His eternal Word and by means of the prophets and the very Word of God, made clear that these things would happen; and they currently are happening.

He has also made clear what the inevitable outcome will be.

“Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” (Isaiah 43:13).

“There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD” (Proverbs 21:30).

The 180-degree inversion of God’s Word and the attempt to defy Him will be terminal.

The Lord of Creation will terminate it Himself at His appointed time.

So, why not now?

Amidst all this evil, chaos, suffering and strife, God is adding to our forever family. Every day people are coming to salvation and knowledge of the Truth.

Take heart.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Already fulfilled “future” prophecy (now history) is your guarantee that every Word of God will be completed according to His Perfect Will.

It is His Signature authenticating His Word.

Perhaps the Berean Study Bible phrases it best:

“But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall” (Malachi 4:2).

One of the more obvious examples of God keeping His promises and of the veracity of His Word is the following:

“Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children” (Isaiah 66:8).

On May 14, 1948, 2,600+ years after the prophecy of Isaiah, the State of Israel, after being completely destroyed (from the worldly perspective), as God had promised, was reborn in a single day!

And what did He say through the prophet Jeremiah at around the same time in history as Isaiah’s prophecy above?

“Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: ‘If this fixed order departs from before Me,’ declares the LORD, ‘Then the offspring of Israel also will cease From being a nation before Me forever'” (Jeremiah 31:35-36).

Take heart and keep on witnessing, my Brothers and Sisters.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.’

“And He who sits on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ And He said, ‘Write, for these words are faithful and true.’ Then He said to me, ‘It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son'” (Revelation 21:3-7).

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life:

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
