When we think of the word ‘New’ these days, we tend to think of certain phrases like ‘New World Order or the New Normal’ The truth of the matter is that the Enemy, often called the Devil or Satan, is the ‘Master Counterfeiter’ of everything that God says in His Word. In Satan’s soon-coming New World Order, there will be a Counterfeit Peace, a Counterfeit One-World Religion, and some Counterfeit Signs and Wonders mixed in as well. Basically, it will be an ‘Evil and Lame’ version of a ‘so called’ One New World Utopia!
Matthew 24:21 “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

The problem with the acceptance and approval of any New World Order is that no government has ever offered, nor will it ever offer, real hope and peace for mankind. When man turns to government to provide worldwide peace and hope, he becomes disillusioned and enslaved by its false promises. History has proven time and again that no quasi-world empire has ever survived, simply because of its innate flaws of greed, corruption, and quest for power.
Those who desire the ushering in of a New World Order, whether secular or religious, are in for a rude awakening. The truth is that false religious teachings cannot bring utopia into being, regardless of man’s creativity and ingenuity. Only heaven brings lasting peace and happiness. The Bible makes it very clear that all things associated with this life on earth with its sufferings, its decay, its discontent, and death will continue with this physical life (2 Corinthians 4:16; Hebrews 9:27). It is also clear that all these things are completely unknown in the heavenly city (Revelation 21:3-7 and Revelation 22). They will be done away with. Yes, hope is needed. But it is the hope of heaven we need, not the false hope of a New World Order. The one hope for all believers lies only in heaven (John 14:1-4). It is not here on this earth. – Source

Store Clerk: “Hi, how are you doing today?” Me: “Hi, I am fine, how are you doing?” Store Clerk: “Good, I am doing great.” The truth that most people do not want to admit these days is that most of us are not really ‘fine’ and not even ‘okay’ on some days either. With all of the things currently going on in the world, it is hard, even as Christians, not to be unsettled at times.
Current situations are continuously ‘getting worse and worse’ everywhere, and it does not seem like it will improve. More than likely, they will not until we go home. As Blood-Bought Believers, we know that this world is not our home; therefore, we look forward to a heavenly country which is ultimately our true home with Jesus Christ!
Hebrews 11:16 “But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”

This verse does not say that Israel will ever be officially called “Beulah” or “Beulah Land” but that Israel will once again be attended to by the Lord as a husband would attend to his beloved bride. The point is in the meaning of the word. Rather than be considered forsaken by the Lord, God’s people will be restored to a close, loving relationship with Him, and all they need will be provided.
In Bunyan’s allegory, Beulah Land is the land just before heaven, for “here they were within sight of the city they were going to.” Bunyan correctly picks up on the theme of marriage from Isaiah 62:4, writing, “In this land also the contract between the Bride and the Bridegroom was renewed; yea, here, ‘as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so doth God rejoice over them.'” In the allegory, although Christian and Hopeful have not yet entered the Celestial City, they have escaped the snares and temptations of the world, and all their needs are met.
In this hymn, several themes from The Pilgrim’s Progress are developed. The song talks about the Christian life today as one that borders heaven and from where one can almost see heaven. It speaks of a place of victory and fellowship with God, which is something of the idea found in Isaiah 42:6 and in Bunyan’s work.
A second song that has become popular is “Sweet Beulah Land” by Squire Parsons (1948– ), often performed by gospel music groups:

Homesick for a Heavenly Country:
Yes, I am Homesick for a Country that I have never been to before! I am longing for my True Home! Nowhere here on Earth has ever felt like Home for me. Whether our Home is to be called Beulah Land, Paradise, Abraham’s Bosom, or just simply our Heavenly Home, that is where I daily long to be! Jesus IS my Home; just to be able to see and hug Him will mean that I have finally arrived! Can. Not. Wait!
Jesus Christ, the One True God, is the Only One who can make all things New! Scripture tells us that there be a New Heaven and a New Earth, where there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain! We also read that we will have New Glorified Bodies, just like Jesus; and not only that, we will have on ‘New Threads’ that are apparently made of fine linen, white and clean!
Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
There will also be a New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven! It all sounds so surreal and hard to comprehend. In our limited, finite state and minds it is hard for us to imagine all of this. Scripture even tells us that no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor mind conceived the things God has prepared for them that love Him!
Revelation 21:1-2 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
We should be so Thankful to have a God such as Yahweh who is truly Righteous and Holy as a Judge and who has no darkness in Him whatsoever! He will do what is Just for each and every one of us! Abba has good things planned for us and desires to bless us if only we would obey, follow, and allow Him to do so! In order to take hold of this promise and ‘stake your claim’ in this Heavenly Kingdom and Abode, you must be born again! Warning, for you to delay and ultimately ignore this Precious Offer is to your Eternal Detriment! Choose wisely!
