Events are constantly happening in the real world that line up with Bible prophecy.
One, Dr. Dave Reagan recently pointed out on the Christ in Prophecy Christmas TV program that the angel Gabriel made seven glorious promises to Mary when he visited her to reveal the birth of Jesus: 1) Mary would conceive and bear a Son; 2) Mary’s Son would be called Jesus; 3) Jesus would be great; (4) Jesus would be called the Son of God; 5) Jesus will be given the throne of David; 6) Jesus will reign over the House of Jacob; and 7) Jesus’ kingdom will never end (Luke 1:31-33).
Dr. Reagan said the first four prophecies were literally fulfilled, so people should expect all seven of them to be literally fulfilled.
The literal interpretation means Jesus will come back to sit on the throne of David in Israel to reign over Israel and this whole earth.
Israel has been re-established as a nation, and some Jews want to re-establish the throne of David in Jerusalem.
Some Christians believe they will accept the Antichrist as their Messiah.
Two, on Dec. 21, 2019, Pope Francis delivered his Christmas message to the Roman Catholic Church and blamed conservative Catholics for getting in the way of the “common good” (world government and world religion).
Pope Francis was urging Catholics to put world government and world religion before the Scriptures.
It is impossible to know if he is The False Prophet, but he fits the description; and setting aside the Scriptures to bring in a world government and world religion is dangerous.
Three, in early Dec. 2019, Iranian proxies fired rockets at the U.S. K-1 military base in Iraq.
On Dec. 13, 2019, U.S. Sec. of State Mike Pompeo warned Iran that any attacks by Iran or Iranian proxies will be met with a decisive U.S. response.
On Dec. 27, 2019, Iranian proxies fired 30 rockets at the U.S. base.
DEBKAfile reported that one American contractor was killed and four U.S. soldiers were injured, prompting urgent consultations with Washington to decide how and when the U.S. will respond.
Two days later, the U.S. struck three Hezbollah (an Iranian proxy) targets in Iraq and two in Syria.
19 people were killed, and several buildings and weapons were destroyed.
Four, at the end of the age, Israel will be an exceedingly great army (Ezek. 37:10).
On Dec. 24, 2019, Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu was commenting on the Arabs’ warming relations with Israel, and he said it is “the direct result of our policy which has turned Israel into a rising power in the region and the world.”
Five, on Dec. 25, 2019, terrorists in Gaza attempted to assassinate Prime Min. Netanyahu.
He was speaking at a campaign event at Ashkelon when a rocket was fired from Gaza at Ashkelon.
He was rushed off the stage, Israel’s Iron Dome defense system shot down the rocket, and no one was hurt.
Six, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has instructed religious leaders to rewrite the Bible (and the Koran) to teach a pro-communist perspective that conforms with CCP goals.
China has jailed some pastors and refused to allow others to travel abroad.
At least one Church has been ordered to replace paintings of the Virgin Mary and Jesus with images of (CCP) Chairman Xi.
The Church was also ordered to hang Chinese flags and slogans in the Church.
The Church was also told to remove its name from the Church and replace it with a banner that reads, “Follow the party, thank the party, obey the party.”
Older Church members were warned that they could lose their pensions if they continue to worship at the Church.
Recent reports say up to two million Muslims are being re-trained in concentration camps.
During the Tribulation Period, the Antichrist will try to replace the Bible and worship of Jesus with Satan worship.
