After the third attempt I finally was able to give Genesis the new purple Bible I bought for her. As I handed it to her, she was beaming from ear to ear and almost jumped out of her skin with joy. Two other young waitresses watched the transaction, wondering what I had given her – maybe it was a bar of solid gold! Genesis clutched the new Bible to her breast as though she had never owned or even seen one. Like I said in my previous article “Hallelujah,” she didn’t know her name appeared in such an important book – a God-breathed book – and it’s taken her by complete surprise. This amazing book is worth more than all the gold in the world.
I wrote a letter about the contents and order of the Bible: The Old Testament, The New Testament and what they meant. The prophets, the history of the Jews, Moses, who David was, the psalms of David, and finally – The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and placed it inside her new Bible.
Way too many people have never read the Bible – especially the young people of today; and so they go about trying to make sense of life by following New Age cults, Buddha and other man-made philosophies and Ideas. Some even go as far as following after Baphomet (Satan himself) and joining Witch covens. After failing to find peace and hope that only the God of the Bible can give, they, on their own, with their own rationale, fall into hopelessness with some even finally committing suicide out of complete despair.
UPDATE ON CHURCH MATTERS
In the meantime, the faux leaders at my church have fixed the voting, saying it didn’t count because of spies sharing the results? (like the Democrats they are – who fake voting numbers and procedures – then claim that they lost because of this and that, this ploy is taken directly from the Saul Alinsky playbook Rules for Radicals” – a book that exclaims “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”) This took place recently to put in place an inexperienced pastor who just happens to be black.
They claim that the voting was prejudiced because of the young man’s race. Not so. They also claim that two spies handled the ballots and passed along secret information to those opposed, and this warranted annulment of the process, even though they fell short of the desired 85% vote. So it is that these people proceeded to go against the will of the majority. On top of all that, the voters had to be present to vote and show a valid ID in order to do so. Not only that, but many members are “Snow Birds” who never had a chance to make their voices heard – boy are they in for a surprise when they begin to arrive after the holidays and they find everyone walking around in torn jeans and bopping to strange rhythms – no more suits filled with stoic and wooden men.
The new leadership can’t help but fail for the lack of money to run such a big church and are already showing signs of desperation and begging for money outright, buttering up the wealthy widows in hopes of garnering money to help defray costs. Maybe they should all take a cut in pay to help put a dent in the shortfall. But I’m sure that won’t happen. Except for Robin Hood, criminals are not known for their generosity. These wolves in sheep’s clothing are sure to hang themselves anyway for all their plotting. The guilt (if they have any) for destroying the faith of many is on their heads.
The affected congregants will view the things of God with seriousness. Both sides may find themselves repenting for not taking the things of God more seriously. The Word of God says that in the “Last Days” He is going to do some serious shaking; and unless you are well-grounded in Christ, your false religion and man-made assumptions are sure to crumble.
Funny how, at the very same time, another church in Naples is collapsing because of the machinations of manmade thought and practices. The Lord’s Way church – a branch of James MacDonald’s Harvest Bible Chapel, a 40,000-member church located in various campuses throughout the country – with its home base located in Chicago, Illinois, has come apart at the seams as well.
Former pastors are being displaced or leaving the church for one reason or another. The false ones are part of the last days falling away. They never had true faith to begin with. For example, it was disclosed on Axios, that former evangelical megachurch pastor Josh Harris said he “excommunicated” himself from the religion that propelled him to fame. Harris, who renounced Christianity earlier this year, told “Axios on HBO” that he ruined lives and marriages while he served as one of the country’s most well-known evangelical pastors. “If you’re not living according to the teaching of the Bible, and you’re living in unrepentant sin, then you have to be put out of the church,” Harris, 44, told Axios. “I excommunicated myself, essentially.”
This pastor was dependent on his own rationale and says he has now changed his mind on what he was preaching, which goes to show that he apparently was all along in a state of confusion regarding true faith in Christ.
Satan is sure to trip you up in any way he can and sometimes uses pride to bring us down.
Churches are being shaken to the core, and only those who truly are in Christ (who are the real church) will be taken away in the soon-coming rapture of “Believers” in Christ.
But the shaking was and is necessary to sift the wheat from the chaff on the threshing floor of Almighty God.
