Let me ask you a simple question. What do you deserve in this Life? Do you deserve the next breath of air, or the next Heartbeat, or the next mouthful of food? And if you do think you deserve these things, to what do you attribute that? In other words, for what reason do you deserve these things? Go ahead, my Friends; I’ll wait.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.“
“For ALL have Sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!” Paraphrasing is mine, but as you see, ALL of us are NOT worthy. As a matter of fact, one sin condemns us to Eternal Punishment!
James 2:10 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”
Oops! It sure does hurt when we find that we are less than we would like to think…Right? But there is the Truth, written in Black and White! The Holy Word of God spells it out without any sugar-coating whatsoever. “SIN” is the reason we never measure up to what God Almighty has set down as perfect.
I already know I am touching on a very sensitive subject matter here, but we must know what is and what is NOT the Truth! And to know the Truth of the Lord, we must investigate the Holy Word of God. And yes, I am sorry if this hurts some. It hurt when I began to read about it in the Bible.
Let me put it this way: If one develops a boil, it must be lanced and drained before there is any healing. It is exactly the same thing with our Sin. We must understand, “I am a Sinner!” just like everyone else of this planet! That shows us where we stand…all by ourselves. Jesus Christ died on that Cross of Calvary for one reason and one only…to Shed HIS Blood, to cover our Sin. No blood to cover your Sin…NO Heaven!
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Wow…what a concept…right?! So why do so few ever read this Passage of Scripture? Because they are too busy with everything else in this Life. Because they do NOT know the reason we humans are here in the first place. “Ignorance…is NOT Bliss!” That ignorance will end up costing you…your Eternal Home with Jesus Christ!
Again, I did NOT say this…God said it in HIS Holy Word, the Bible! NO Jesus Christ…NO Heaven! It is YOUR choice.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
