The Perils of Immoral Leadership :: By Bill Wilson

Leadership is important. Immoral leadership reaps bad things. Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.”

There can be little rejoicing when the people have chosen men and women to represent them in Congress and in statehouses to lead this nation, and they stand for killing the preborn even as they are being born.

As Psalm 94:20-21 says, “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frames mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.”

This is a stain on this nation of innocent blood. We must condemn it in the strongest possible terms.

From Virginia to New York to many other states, Democratic Party lawmakers are writing and introducing bills to redefine “personhood,” to allow the murder of babies in the birth canal at full term, to promote infanticide – all in the name of protecting women’s health. Democrats in the US House and Senate are supporting these efforts by blocking Republican bills to protect the preborn.

It is all part of a nationwide campaign by the evil and radical NARAL, a pro-abortion organization that pumps millions into the campaigns of state and national Democrats in exchange for their support of abortion. This campaign is ostensibly in anticipation of a Supreme Court that may overturn Roe vs Wade, but we all know this is their ongoing promotion of a death culture.

There are so many wrongs with this. It is against the human race. It is against minorities and people of color. It is against GOD. Yet people, time after time, seek to elect those who are pro-death and support infanticide.

Leadership is important. It changes the way nations are viewed and brings peril to the righteous. Whether the righteous want to acknowledge it or not, whom we elect and the leaders we choose have a bearing on eternity. Even more so for nations like the United States who have the freedom to choose whom their citizens elect. We may not understand exactly the ramifications of our collective voting, but there is a connection.

Christ says in Matthew 25:31-34, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

We know the truth. We need to stand firm on it. For as Christ said in Luke 12:48, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.”

You see, leadership is important. Immoral leadership brings peril. Righteous leadership is a joy to others.

Be a leader for Christ. Influence others. Choose life.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
