Every wicked, powerful person takes full advantage of the people and resources around them. I am neither wicked nor powerful, but simply a writer who has a gift of observation. I notice things where Satan is concerned, that he has had stepping stones throughout time – people he has used to help him get to where he needs and wants to be in preparation for the Antichrist.
When you and I think of a stepping stone, it is usually a pleasant thing, a rock-like path providing footing to a traveler, leading to a desired location or place. It is typically a thing though, not the abhorrent definition—meaning people—or worse than that, entire bodies of people.
Satan uses people for his desired end, and his motto is “the more the merrier.” The more people he has at his disposal, the faster he can reach his goal. He will also blow through their bank accounts faster than a young teenager with Daddy’s credit card in hand at the mall. He will tap into and drain their every resource until he has used them up. We have all been reading in the news lately about what happens sometimes when people get used by him, and they believe the lie of suicide—it being the only way out.
He has been at this for a long time. The Bible has many names for the slippery, slimy one; “Serpent of Old” is just one of the many.
Jesus had some direct dealings with Satan. Let’s take a look at a scripture that verifies it for us. Here, we read:
“Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, ‘All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish; therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.’ And Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve’” (Luke 4:5-8).
I want to hone in on this particular part of the temptation of Christ for the purposes of this article today.
Notice Jesus’ response to Satan in regards to this encounter. Jesus will only worship God His Father, just as it is written in the scriptures.
But specifically here, Satan offered Jesus something he truly had in his possession. Satan owns the kingdoms of this world with authority—and he is fully aware that he does. He made Jesus a real offer with a contingency, but it was a real offer, nonetheless. Satan owns the kingdoms of this earth, for now, and he is giving out ownership in this scene depicted here—if only the Son of God would bow and worship him. Satan could not have offered something he did not possess.
Satan is still making the same smelly deal with whoever will take him up on the offer…just worship him, with your signature on the dotted line—in your very own blood. The only difference is that, when he makes this deal with a regular person, he may give them money, power, prestige and fame—but it does not last. He can yank it from that person just as fast as he gave it to them, and then will lure them to their death when he is finished with them. Sad, but true.
A man will step forward soon in the days ahead along with a counterpart. His name is the Antichrist. He will not have that formally printed on his business card, but people living on the earth during that time may suspect who he is. Many will declare him to be God. He will rise to power quickly, as many stepping stones will be in place—ready to help him get to his desired end.
The False Prophet will be his number one stepping stone of advancement and will rise to power alongside him. He will be helping him with every evil thing on his agenda during those prophesied years of the future.
The Antichrist is Satan’s protégé, and he will have learned well from his master. He is favored and groomed by his teacher, just waiting behind the curtain. But he will appear soon, very suddenly on the world stage with much fanfare and accolades.
The rapture will take place, and the absence of millions of Christians will create a tremendous vacuum upon the earth worldwide, and the chaotic world will demand the leadership by such a person. He will receive authority from God and slide into his position for seven years.
He is very likely a current leader and has stepped on more than just a few people to get to where he will be in his future role. He has an entire one-world government almost ready and poised for when the time is right. He will have adoring fans from every nation, but few will see his sinister plans. The people he leads in the future have already been aligning themselves into his anti-God agenda and hatred. He will bamboozle these deluded, lost souls in every way.
I see these deceived ones on the news—it’s almost too difficult to witness how far-gone some of these people are right now. They have offered themselves as a stepping stone for everything evil and have already given themselves over to the end-times agenda of the Antichrist—even before the appointed time of his reign! There must have been an early sign-up for these folks. I hope they realize before it’s too late that if a person receives his mark on their right hand or forehead during the tribulation, it is eternal doom; their fate is sealed forever, and there is no getting off this path.
Here are just a few of my observations—of stepping stones ready and in place awaiting the Antichrist:
—The liberal progressive agenda in governance. This includes any political party that is anti-God and departs from traditional Judeo-Christian values. They promote Socialism and Communism as the best form of governance. These people like control, and the Antichrist will be all about control.
—Anarchy is used right now to upset the rule of law and governance. This turbulence will ultimately lead to worldwide takeover; the Antichrist will step in with the appearance of bringing peace and stability globally. We are witnessing this, especially on the borders of countries trying to hold on to their sovereignty.
—False Religions that obscure and malign the truth of God. Jesus told us that false Christs would be rising in the last days and not to be deceived. The end-times deception has come upon the earth already, and no country seems to be without exception in one way or another. The Antichrist is the ultimate deception; and the deceived ones—oh, it will be like taking candy from a baby for him.
—Changing the rule of law, especially constitutional laws. Oh yes, he wants the big laws, ultimately. According to the book of Daniel, he changes times and laws.
“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time” (Daniel 7:25).
Wow, this is already gaining momentum all over the earth. Look what just happened in Ireland with the abortion law.
—Religious institutions are re-writing their core beliefs, denying the word of God. A recent example is the Presbyterian Church USA that passed anti-Israel resolutions in the Church’s general assembly with sweeping votes to condemn Israel. The Presbyterian Church USA is showing its anti-Semitism towards Israel in votes against them regarding the sale of real estate in Judea and Samaria, aligning themselves with the causes of unbelievers of our faith.
God gave Israel their land; it is actually referred to in scripture as God’s land (Joel 3:2). Palestinians have no claim on this land—it is 100 percent Israel’s, and a gift from their covenant-making God.
—The propaganda of the mainstream media. This has reached an all-time high. The MSM is a willing accomplice to the agenda of darkness and is spewing lies daily. Please be careful, dear readers, where you get your news. (The Antichrist will be the biggest liar that will ever breathe in air—claiming himself to be God.) They are warming up for their seven years of non-stop coverage of the fakest news in world history. Do not buy into this falsified stuff, even now —it is poisonous!
—Kings and leaders of the earth. The Antichrist will tread them underfoot to get his reign of terror accomplished, and they will be aligned with him to their own destruction.
Our paths take us places either good or bad. Look closely at those who are traveling the same path as you are. Are they going where you want to go? Are they people who love and honor God and Christ and seek to promote peace? Are they of the light or darkness?

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:13-14).
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’” (John 14:6).
I took the road less traveled, and it really does make a difference. Take the path that leads upward to Jesus, for only on this path—is life.
