Sin
I remember as a kid, there was nothing quite as exciting to see than Barnum & Bailey Circus coming to town. I was beside myself, hoping we would be able to go and see all the acts under the Big Tent, all the rides to be enjoyed, the food, and most of all the Cotton Candy and Sodas. I also remember that all my Friends were in the same boat as I was, and we would spend all our time talking about the things we wanted to see and do.
The only thing standing in our way was the cost. We all belonged to Military Families, so money was always tight. Somehow and some way, my Mom and Dad had expected the event and had put some money aside for us all to go. I was totally thrilled!
Once the day came, we jumped in our old Buick and went to the Circus! The music was blaring and the rides were running; and I was allowed two rides, one Cotton Candy and a ticket to go inside the Big Tent with my Dad. We had seats on the second row, right in the middle! I cannot tell you how amazed I was watching all the acts, my mouth dry, as the Trapeze artists flew through the air so gracefully. And everything was more than I had expected – until the clowns came out, that is.
At first they were funny, and I giggled out loud. Then two of them came right up in front of me, leering through their make-believe funny faces…I found them to be horrifying! I could see their painted-on smiles, and yet their real smiles did not exist…it was a false smile; and then they had a rather heinous, almost evil laugh! I backed up in fear and hid behind my Dad; all the while He was telling me it was all in fun.
To this very day, I do not like clowns of any kind; they are a deception, a false funny face. It would appear that most kids like clowns and their antics. I would rather not see them at all. In my mind, they are a sinister lot of make-believe. In almost every case, I do not like being “Lied to” in such a way. I prefer the truth. I would have to guess that has followed me in many areas of my Life; and yet, as a little kid, I tried to lie to my Parents. They would always catch me in my Lies, and there would be a consequence each and every time.
In high school, I remember going to church one Sunday where I read the following Passage of Scripture:
Luke 21:8 “And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.“
Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.“
As with these verses, the Lord did not want me to enjoy clowns, much less anyone that would Lie to me or anyone else. And as we begin our walk in these “The Last Days,” we find that there are Liars-par-excellence everywhere!
Sadly enough, we find them in the Pulpits all around the country. They Preach about Wealth and monetary gain, the “Prosperity Gospel,” and others love to Preach about how wonderful each and every one us is – when every Born-Again Believer already knows we are as “Filthy Rags” before such a Righteous and Just Lord God! They know we should be groveling in the dirt, hiding our faces and begging for mercy from the Lord! And every single bit of our being is overflowing with our own Sin.
My Readers already know I write a great deal of articles talking about our Sin and its effect on our lives, how it separates us from the Lord and destroys our relationship with HIM.
We know that if our Sin is not covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on HIS Cross, we will spend Eternity in Hell and then the Lake of Fire. We know that these places were originally created for the punishment of Satan and his ilk; it was not meant for us. And we know that Satan and his ilk are Sin. They espouse everything and anything that is evil! We also know that the majority of the world will follow Satan and his Ilk…straight into Hell! It is because of this that I spend so much time writing from the Word of God about Sin.
Our Sin is the one thing that stands between us and the Lord God. It is the one thing that will doom you and me forever! And as I read the Word of God, I can plainly see this: it is the fulcrum point of our entire lives and one that must be acknowledged and dealt with.
I know that most people do not want to talk, much less think about this subject matter. Problem is, the Time is so very short before the Rapture! Our decision on our own Sin is the one thing that will determine whether we go to be with the Lord in the Rapture…or we are Left Behind!
As “Watchers on the Wall” we see the Dawn of that day. We see that the Lord is about to make a very quick appearance and take the True Believers away from this earth to be with HIM in Heaven. Anything other than going in the Rapture means they will likely have to go through Death. According to the Word of God, there will be a great many that will have to die here on earth, even those that come to the Lord after the Rapture.
Just between you and me, I have real hard time trying to imagine how scary and fearful the Tribulation will be for anyone – to witness firsthand the Wrath of the Lord God on the people of this world!
And then I begin to understand that this world is not our home; it is so greatly filled with Sin and death! Every act of evil is being played out every day right before our eyes! The most heinous of acts of evil are everywhere and being committed by ordinary people, caught in the clutches of Satan and his ilk. They are deceived beyond common sense, doing things that they know are wrong, dumbed down by the words of so many people that have hearts of evil. Does this make more sense to us today about the “Great Delusion of God?”
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Is this scary or not? The “Damned” will be destroyed! That, my Friends, is so serious that I have no other words! Can you say, that is exactly everything that is taking place right now…today…all across this globe? It is right before our eyes, and it is not something any of us…are able to miss. It is absolutely everywhere, in our Government and even our churches! This, my Friends, is Satan already at work destroying everything that we once saw as good – and for many – things that were called Noble, even Sacred!
Matthew 24:37-39 “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.“
This not anything to sneeze at or to take lightly! In the days of Noah, before the flood, everyone was busy doing everything normally. If you look closer though, the Sin of the World was so bad, it reached the Lord God!
Genesis 6:5-7 “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.“
I do not believe that we missed a single thing here…God hates Sin! God hated our Sin back in the days of Noah, and God hates the Sin today. I believe that the Sin of mankind has reached the Lord God once again; and this time…it is going to bring the destruction of mankind – not with a flood, but this time with Fire! As we all know…Fire destroys everything. Or maybe you know nothing of Sodom and Gomorrah! Maybe that would be a good place to research and find out for yourself (Genesis 19).
My Friends, we must understand something here. Again, God hates Sin…our Sin! We either get our Sin taken care of by Jesus Christ and HIS Blood…or we will die continually in Hell because of our Sin. This is an Individual decision, and no one is able to change that for you…it is all on YOU. It will be…one way or the other…Jesus Christ or not…Heaven or Hell and then the Lake of Fire. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. YOU CHOOSE JUST FOR YOU. Jesus Christ…or Satan!
Just so you know, Satan and his ilk…HATE…YOU. Why do you think they want to make sure you go to Hell with them?
Our Sin…I am going to continue to write on this subject matter for as long as I am able…It is that Important! You are correct…God IS a Loving God…yet HE is a more Just and Righteous God! Go ahead and enjoy your Churches and how Holy they make you feel. Just make sure you are forgiven of your Sin by the Blood of Jesus Christ…shed on HIS CROSS AT CALVARY. Your name MUST be found in the “Lamb’s Book of Life”…otherwise no Heaven! Just saying y’all…give it some thought.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.“
