In many of my articles, I have stated what the Word of God says and I have done so in a manner of ease and conformity, according to the Word of God. So then the problem comes, when others read the Word of God and talk or write, are they according to God’s Holy Word? I would never think for a moment that what I say or write is better than anyone else.
I am simply asking if what they say is according to the Word of God. I matter little, but what is said matters greatly whether it is done so for the Lord God Almighty or for personal gain; that my friends is always the question. Sort of like saying, “They shall be known by their fruits.” Make sense?
I am sure you will agree that things written or stated are not always according to God’s Word, especially in the things of this world like the left-leaning media for example.
I am sure you are aware that what you read a book is remembered with much more ease than simply sitting and listening to someone talk. Obviously we infer a greater amount of trustworthiness in something written down. We even have rules and regulations according to the written word and less to say, a video presentation.
The exact reason for this is not always known. Suffice it to say, writing can be a very dangerous path to walk. Once the words are made public, how easy do you think it would be to retract anything? Or as is mentioned quite often..deleted? For the Internet, it would appear that is impossible, thus one can be a prisoner of their own words.
How many times have you read the theory of evolution and considered whether it is fact or fiction? And yet the Word of God, stands out among literature as the point of all points which needs to be considered by each person. In the Word of God it states that God created the heavens and the earth.
Of course the left-leaning media does not particularly associate themselves with the facts, they enjoy twisting and manipulating words to their needed ends. We enjoy writings when they are termed mysteries; the thoughts conjured up will run into many areas, but are these areas worthwhile? If one is not compelled to search out the facts, they will never know whether the mysteries is real or just fiction. Make sense?
We are told by Jesus Christ “That in the last days, be ye not deceived.” Example, Luke 21:8:
“And he said, ‘Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.’”
How many pulpits are spewing the “Feel Good Gospel or the “Prosperity Gospel?” How many books have been written by those same titled and how many so-called pastors preach these things, in God’s Name?
Joel Osteen is an example. He talks about SUCCESS in an interview with his wife Victoria in the CD inside the November ‘09 … Seeds of SUCCESS.
In my mind, I ask: If the ultimate joy of life is found in Jesus Christ who is God, and we know God is Spirit…then what need do we have for financial success? Do you understand, this life is to make one decision, whether or not you will follow Jesus Christ, or if you choose this world and its leader Satan and his ilk?
Which do you choose? Financial success that lasts maybe 80 years or eternal salvation to heaven in Jesus Christ? Simply looking at the years alone, the math will tell you it is better to have an untold number of years in happiness and harmony, than 80 years of money! If the Word of God is Truth, then money is nothing. It stays right here as you move on into eternity, which follows your death.
Looking at the Scriptures, doing the simple mathematics, you will find that money is a deception, in other words, it is a LIE. Therefore, believing in earthly success, as in finances, is worthless and you have been LIED to. Which is worse? Being LIED to…or believing a LIE?!
Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your NEED according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Please notice the emboldened word “need.” Obviously, there is a difference between a person’s NEEDS and a person’s WANTS. Has it occurred to you that you have been given what you NEED first and always? Your WANTS may end up with you walking away from the Lord God Almighty, rather than to HIM.
So what does this have to say about financial success? I must guess that the Joel Osteen’s of this world believe in using God as an ATM machine. In other words, if you do not buy his book on Bible and financial success, then you must be happy in poverty, right?
Galatians 6:7-8 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
In the Scripture above, we see again, “Be not deceived.” And just as quickly, we read “God is NOT MOCKED.” So if we read in God’s Word that we are to have treasures in heaven…If God is Spirit and must be worshiped in Spirit…after believers die, they go to heaven in spirit…how does this apply to riches here on earth? Yuppers, you are correct…it doesn’t!
Think about it: Man cuts down a tree God created, crunches it up and makes paper. Man gathers the plants that God created and makes ink from them. Man puts the ink and paper together and makes MONEY from what God created in the first place and yet every minute of every day and night, trees and plants die. And so, YOUR MONEY has no worth at all.
This means that if you find any worth in your money, then you are believing a LIE. And WHO is the Father of LIES…Satan! Thus if MONEY is your sole pursuit in life, then you have chosen to follow Satan and his ilk and you put your TRUST in money…rather than the Lord God Almighty.
Which would you rather have, all the money you can have here on earth…or an eternity of happiness and peace? Again, we see it is an either/or situation and you get to choose. Life spells that out all the time. You are either sitting there at your computer or you are sitting on the curb outside, but never both at the same time. Do you ever get the feeling that God Almighty is trying to tell you something?
I only need enough bread for one day, every day. I only need enough clean water to drink, for when I am thirsty and if by the Lord God Almighty, I have happiness and comfort and peace, then I am already beyond belief. Or do you not remember the story of Jesus feeding 5000 men on two loaves of bread and three fish? So how much is your money worth now?
I have stated in my articles that my wife and I were in the hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, big jobs and yet we were slaves to the work. I missed far too many birthdays and anniversaries and other important gatherings with family and friends. Big money and very little peace and harmony. And I have only myself to blame for it, because I was blind and I WANTED money and I never felt like I had enough of it; yet millions around the world were dying from dirty water and lack of food.
One day the Lord God Almighty impressed upon me and my wife that He had just about enough of us. And then HE humbled both of us and we learned what poverty is really like. It is humiliating to say the least and I felt like a worthless man that had let everyone down around me. And so for a few months, we languished in this state of poverty and yet we still had far more than the majority of the world has.
I had been a fool to listen to the LIES of Satan and his ilk and as my wife and I were struggling, Satan and his ilk were sitting back on their collective butts and laughing at us. Does the story of job pop in your minds? I was angry and hurt because I had been duped into believing lies and that made me totally angry and I began to hate the one that had told me those lies. Laugh at me, I’ll simply bow my head and take it, but no one will ever hurt my wife and family and get away with it!
My Lord and heavenly Father heard my prayer when I was at my lowest, because I was responsible. I was accountable for the situation of my family. I was the dad and the husband, the head of the household. I prayed like I had never prayed, in all my life. I opened my heart and told the Lord God everything, without holding anything back. I said I was responsible for my sins and I asked HIM to forgive me and cover my sins with HIS blood…and HE did exactly that!
Since that prayer, the Lord God has blessed us with such happiness and peace, the likes of which I have never known in all my life. The Lord God has met our every NEED and I no longer care about any of my wants.
I am now retired and my wife will follow suit in 1.5 months from now and we have no worries, no concerns, except to continually praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know in my heart, I have met and faced both sides in this spiritual struggle and I follow Jesus Christ with every fiber of my being. As I learned overseas, the Lord God Almighty “never gives up, gives in or goes away.” I KNOW for a fact, today, I am more happy and content than I have ever been in all my life and I owe that to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior!
So whom do you wish to listen to, some jerk with an attitude that wants nothing more than to LIE to you and make you believe him? When will you understand that Satan and his ilk HATE YOU and they can’t wait to watch you die over and over again in the lake of fire. Odd, he will be too busy screaming himself and begging God for redemption, to have any such thought about little old you, or haven’t you figured that out yet?
You have a choice to make. Do you want to live according to this world and all its LIES and spend eternity in a place as far from God Almighty as the East is from the West? Or do you really want heaven, peace and harmony, a full and happy life here, until the day comes when you stand before your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
If you are willing to read the Holy Word of God, if you are willing to also ask for the Lord’s wisdom and discernment, you will find that this one single and simple choice…is what this entire life on earth is all about. If you enjoy being LIED to every second of every day, then by all means follow the world and Satan and his ilk. If by chance you want happiness like you have never know, peace beyond your ability to understand…then Jesus Christ is what you seek.
The world will never change, it is up to YOU to change your life and the ONLY change of any worth available…is in Jesus Christ. HE is available at any time, any place, under any circumstance. HE has said, “I will never Leave you nor forsake you” when you belong to Him.
