The New York teacher was arrested for engaging in a pattern of sexually explicit digital communications with a child under 12. In stage appearances, he goes by Anita Buffem and is described as the first drag performer elected to a school board. His cell phone had explicit images, including videos “depicting sexual abuse of infants,” sent to him over the internet.

A dangerous wildfire outbreak across Utah and Colorado turned deadly this past weekend, killing three firefighters as crews across the Southwest continue to battle large fires amid hot, dry and windy weather. June 28: Israeli military intelligence warns Hamas is preparing new attacks on Israel. Hamas, which is designated a terrorist organization, has manufactured hundreds of explosive devices and anti-tank missiles, is recruiting and training young men, smuggling drones and re-establishing the Islamist movement’s underground infrastructure, such as tunnels, according to the warning.
July 1: US, Iran wrap up indirect talks as Trump touts progress towards denuclearization. US & Iran held indirect technical talks Wednesday, which President Trump described as “very good,” as American & Iranian officials said participants agreed to open a communication channel to ensure MoU terms are met, amid continued disagreements over implementation. Iran claims the sides agreed on partial release of billions of frozen Iranian dollars; the US denies this.
July 2: US to deploy troops in Lebanon and Israel to monitor ceasefire compliance. US soldiers will be deployed in both Lebanon and Israel to monitor compliance with Friday’s framework agreement to end the fighting. This is so the US can “apply pressure”. Officials at Centcom are to report any violations to the Trump administration, which will then have the opportunity to intervene.
