I’m reminded of the opening verse of a familiar old song: “I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord.
And I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord. Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Lord.” On that note, let’s review some of the latest concerns.
Extreme Weather Events
The US was hit by a barrage of wild weather last weekend. Tornadoes carved through the South, a blizzard buried the northern plains, and flash floods drenched the Tennessee Valley.
Category 5 Typhoon Wutip sideswiped the US island territory of Guam – first February super typhoon in a century and strongest February typhoon in the Northwest Pacific on record; packed 180 mph gusts.
In Wisconsin, whiteout conditions on an interstate as cars rounded a corner caused the “largest traffic crash in the state’s history” involving 131 cars. One person died and 71 people were injured.
Ice Tsunami in New York: High winds caused chaos across the eastern half of the US. The windstorm created an “ice tsunami” last Sunday across parts of New York. Ice from Lake Erie piled up in mounds between 25 and 30 feet high (seen on video) as it moved toward people’s homes. “We’ve had storms in the past but nothing like this,” said Hoover Beach resident Dave Schultz.
A fierce winter storm barreled into the West on Monday, affecting states from Oregon to Montana. Winds were in excess of 100 mph (160 kph), and as much as 8 feet (2.4 meters) of snow fell in the Sierra Nevada. Heavy rain fell in the lower elevations with 20 inches flooding some places, stranding 1,800 people. Another winter storm headed for the Sierra on Friday, where several area ski resorts had already set February records with over 20 feet (6 meters) of snow in four weeks. Over 40 feet (13 meters) of snow has fallen already this winter at the top of some ski resorts around Lake Tahoe.
February was the coldest in Los Angeles, California, in nearly 60 years.
This weekend and into Monday forecast for the US: a major, fast-moving winter storm with heavy snow from California to New England, creating major travel delays and flight cancellations as it sprints along its 2,500-mile path across the country.
In Britain, 70 to 80mph wind gusts and heavy rain brought to an end a period of unseasonable weather that saw temps in Wales on Monday the warmest winter day since records began.
On the heels of a storm that brought heavy rain and strong winds to the UK on Saturday, another storm (Freya) will track farther south from late Sunday into Monday, spreading the threat for rain and damaging wind across Wales, England and much of Northwest Europe.
Three wildfires broke out across the UK after its hottest winter day on record: 1) A wildfire described as apocalyptic in the Saddleworth Moorlands – the place that had inspired poets of the past, known for its “bleak forbidden beauty” and centuries of folklore. 2) Wildfire at Arthur’s Seat Hill – once described by Robert Louis Stevenson as “a hill for magnitude, a mountain in virtue of its bold design.” 3) A wildfire in the Hundred Acre woodland, the place that was immortalized by A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh stories.
Australian graziers are now dealing with the “nightmare” of mass cattle losses after the flood disaster that hit northern Queensland earlier this month.
In Israel, as rains continued to fall this week, two people were rescued as vehicles were washed away in a flood near Jerusalem. After a 5-year drought, rains were welcomed as a blessing by some. The water level in the Sea of Galilee has at least now risen above the lower red line that determines when the freshwater lake becomes too salty and undrinkable. Nevertheless, this year has brought an unusually harsh winter in Israel with powerful storms and extensive flooding.
Heavy rains caused Israel to be spared from the current locust plague affecting the region. Jordan was also spared; instead Jordanian authorities battled floods, collapsed buildings and closed roads as the heaviest rains of the winter season fell.
Earthquakes and Volcanoes
A deep 7.0 earthquake struck Peru on Friday, just one week after another strong quake hit in neighboring Ecuador. This one hit in the Andes region in a sparsely populated area, and there were no damages reported. Most big quakes in South America occur at a maximum depth of 70 kilometers, but this one was over twice that depth (257 kilometers; 160 miles).
A 6.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan on Saturday.
US Geological Survey posted a report on Monday saying that, sometime within the next 30 years, there’s a 16% possibility of a small to moderate-size volcanic eruption occurring in California. There are 20 volcanoes in California and eight volcanic areas that experts say are threatening to people or property nearby. At least seven of the eight volcanoes sit atop magma and are thus considered “active.” About 200,000 people live or work in a region at risk of an eruption, and millions visit every year. There’s a 22% possibility that an earthquake at the San Andreas Fault of 6.7 or greater will hit within that time frame.
Lawlessness
In New Orleans, was it a terrorist act? Drug or alcohol related? At this writing it is not known. A driver struck eight pedestrians on Esplanade Avenue around 8 pm on Saturday night within a three-block area, some on bicycles. Two died and five were taken to the hospital, three in critical condition. One refused to go to the hospital. Bystanders stopped the driver from leaving the scene, at first thinking it was a one-car accident. The Endymion Parade, part of the ongoing Mardi Gras festivities, occurred today in the area of Bourbon Street and Esplanade.
Plague/Pestilence/Disease
UN experts are monitoring for fresh locust swarms and calling on countries in the flight path to step up vigilance and take precautions. Adult locusts can eat their body weight in fresh vegetation every day, and even a small swarm can eat enough food for 35,000 people in just 24 hours. A female locust can lay around 300 eggs in her short life, meaning swarms can measure miles wide and be made up of hundreds of millions of locusts. They can strip the land bare as they fly through. Tackling swarms is also difficult because they’re able to fly up to 150 kilometers (93 miles) a day. The devastating impact locusts can have on crops poses a major threat to food security, especially in already vulnerable areas.
In Europe, the spread of superbugs resistant to antimicrobial drugs shows no sign of slowing, health officials said on Tuesday, making food poisoning and other infections more difficult to treat.
The Ebola virus has been found in a bat in West Africa for the first time, though it has previously been found in bats in Central Africa.
In Central Africa, four Ebola patients have gone missing after an attack on a treatment center run by Doctors Without Borders, prompting the group to suspend its operations in the area. Attackers burned tents and other equipment in the second attack on the medical group in four days.
In North Carolina, Macon County public health officials confirmed an outbreak of meningitis. Two deaths have occurred in the last three weeks.

In California from Laguna to Huntington Beach, dolphins and sea lions are washing ashore dead or so sick they have to be euthanized. Scientists are desperate to find the cause.
Demonic Agenda against Children
The hideous Momo challenge that was in the news last fall is now spreading in Europe. It’s been found on apps like WhatsApp, but now it’s showing up on YouTube. Lyn Dixon of Edinburgh, Scotland, said her 8-year-old son was searching through YouTube recently when the extremely creepy-looking Momo character suddenly appeared and recited a disturbing poem. It also told the child he was going to die and told him to stick a knife in his neck.
A disturbing video on YouTube gives children suicide tips. It’s been up for a while even though people reported it 8 months ago. In a 9-second clip that’s spliced between clips of the popular Nintendo game Splatoon, a man appears and says, “Remember, kids, sideways for attention, longways for results. End it,” as he pretends to cut his forearm.
The mayor of Lansdale, Pennsylvania agreed to make every Feb. 2 as “Inclusion Day” in commemoration of “Drag Queen Story Fun Time” for kids featuring “Annie Christ”—a play-on-words of “anti-Christ.” Mayor Garry Herbert’s decision is reportedly in response to a petition launched by event supporters urging him to call the day “Annie’s Day” in honor of “Annie Christ.”
Murder of Babies Due to the Left’s Depopulation Agenda
The Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act, which would have ensured that babies who survive abortions are given medical attention, failed to pass the U.S. Senate on Monday. All of the Democrats hoping to be the next president voted against the born-alive protection bill. The names of all 44 Democrat leaders who voted for infanticide are at this link. CBS, ABC and NBC all blacked out any coverage of the Democrats supporting infanticide—murder of babies after birth. Hours after this vote, Bernie Sanders appeared in an hour-long “town hall” on CNN without a single question on this. Elizabeth Warren was interviewed by Chris Hayes for 11 minutes on MSNBC, and no question on this subject.
A Planned Parenthood abortionist’s shocking admission to a late-term abortion patient is back in the spotlight after Democrats in Congress repeatedly blocked bills to protect newborns from infanticide. According to a former patient, the abortionist admitted she’d “break the baby’s neck” if he was born alive after a botched abortion.
American singer Amanda Palmer believes abortion should be celebrated. Excerpt from her song: “You don’t need to beg for redemption or ask for forgiveness….We’ll throw you the best Abortion shower.”
In Georgia, a guest lecturer at Emory University in Georgia, Professor Rebecca Todd Peters, told students why she, as a “Christian,” believes abortion is a “moral good.” In a column on Elon University’s website, she claimed women shouldn’t have to justify their reasons for aborting a baby.
So it was then; so it is now: “You have also taught the wicked women your ways. On your skirts is found the blood of the lives of the poor innocents. I have not found it by secret search, but plainly on all these things. Yet you say, ‘Because I am innocent, surely His anger shall turn from me.’ Behold, I will plead My case (pass judgment) against you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned'” (Jeremiah 2:33-35).
Planned Parenthood president Leana Wen said in an interview with Chelsea Clinton, “Our nurses and our clinicians are all here because we believe in life. Being pro-choice (pro-abortion) is being pro-women… pro-family… pro-community… pro-life.”
In a video of Chelsea Clinton in an abortion discussion, she said being against abortion is un-Christian.

Walmart has launched a “gay dating” video as part of an ad campaign called “Love in the Aisles.” Sam Walton would not have approved had he still been alive.
In Canada, an Ontario public school board voted to force all its elementary schools to fly the pro-homosexual rainbow “pride” flag for at least a week in June.
The politically “progressive” and feminist Meghan Markle reportedly told friends she and Prince Harry plan to raise their child with a “fluid approach to gender.”
“Leftist and secular professors are spending their time demonizing Christianity, misrepresenting the Bible, and misconstruing long-established religious principles. While this list could go on for pages, here are the five most troubling religion courses offered this school year: Queering the Bible; The Problem of God; Queer Theory & the Bible; The Bible in the Public Square; and GodLoveSex.”
In New York, a group of Democrat lawmakers is calling for legalization of prostitution. Experts and survivors of child sex-trafficking are speaking out against it, saying it’s not a victimless crime. There are hundreds of thousands of human trafficking victims in the US alone, not to mention other countries.
It’s not yet clear how many victims will be identified in the law enforcement sting of illicit massage parlors in Florida that are suspected of being part of an international human sex-trafficking ring. An 8-month investigation across four Florida counties and in New York resulted in the disruption of a multimillion-dollar human-trafficking and prostitution operation. The sweep led to criminal charges against 50 people so far including several rich, prominent men. Young women were brought from China under false promises, then trapped in back rooms of strip-mall brothels—sex-trafficking victims trapped among South Florida’s rich and famous.
President Trump announced a federal investigation into the elite pedophile scandal involving human trafficking and promised to help put an end to the “horrific crimes taking place.” Compare this to Hillary Clinton who used her job as Secretary of State to stop an investigation of an “elite” pedophile ring, according to a documented investigation reported by NBC.
Apostasy/False Prophets/Doctrines of Demons
Cardinal Pell, once Pope Francis’ top financial advisor, has been found guilty of sexually abusing two choirboys in the sacristy of a cathedral, later indecently assaulting one in a cathedral corridor.
A video at this link shows Cardinal Pell in a discussion with atheist Richard Dawkins. Pell believes we came from apes (also the position of some popes. For example: Pius XII acknowledged it as a possibility, John Paul II accepted it “as an effectively proven fact,” and Francis claims evolution is real and explained it by saying God is no wizard). Pell also discounts the Bible: he says the account of Adam and Eve is a mythical story and that the Ten Commandments may not have been written by the hand of God.
In South Africa, “prosperity gospel” pastor, Alph Lukau faked raising the dead; and many believe it. Other false prophets in South Africa have performed stunts like spraying insecticide on congregants to clear demons or sold selfies with Jesus. Some “prosperity” churches have been investigated, especially regarding their finances, but still the prosperity gospel appeals to millions of South Africans. “Miracles are our daily bread,” Lukau shouted into a gold glitter microphone. “You are leaving here with a minimum of seven outstanding miracles.”
In Japan, SEE VIDEO of an AI robot god speaking in a Japanese Buddhist temple in an effort to further spread the religion of Buddhism. Mindar the humanoid robot is modeled after Kannon Bodhisattva, so-called goddess of mercy. A temple official explained how the robot would “help people who usually have little connection with Buddhism to take an interest in the religion.”
Nature Worship
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggests people shouldn’t have children due to climate change. She said, “This idea that I’ve been working on this for x-amount of years, um, it’s like not good enough. Like, we need a universal sense of urgency, and people are like trying to like introduce watered-down proposals that are frankly going to kill us.”
As we know, Romans 1 pronounces judgment against willing fools without excuse who worship creation rather than the Creator. Also nations fall that turn against God: “I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them” (Isaiah 3).
Traitorous Times
There are fears that bribery charges conveniently just brought against Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu could cost him the election in April. There are Leftists in Israel who want him gone.
In the US, the left continues its attempts to destroy President Trump at every turn. They’re determined to oust him and/or keep him from being re-elected next year. They’ve gotten to Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen, who is now claiming the president is a racist. However, two black women who have known Trump for years have come to his defense.
Trump associate Lynne Patton, who has known him for years, denied that Trump is a racist. She brought up his economic record and what those gains have meant for black Americans.
Candice Owens, Director of Communications at the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, tweeted that Michael Cohen tried to approach her last summer to help “change the narrative” (lie) about the president. She said Cohen is a coward who plotted this entire “racist” lie to save himself.
House Oversight Committee Republicans on Thursday referred Michael Cohen to the Justice Department for alleged perjury, citing evidence that he lied during sworn testimony before the panel about a number of issues.
Leftist report deliberately inventing a crisis: “The far-left Southern Poverty Law Center, widely described as a hate group for its anti-Christian bigotry, released a new report painting everyone from President Trump and Fox News host Tucker Carlson to their supporters as dangerous racists and extremists.” As I’ve pointed out before, the Left uses psychological projection—accusing the other side of that which they are the ones doing.
“Democrats know they can’t win on a level playing field.” Hillary and Politico published a list targeting 200 influential conservatives they call “foreign actors” who they want removed from Twitter. The Left has already decimated conservative voices on Facebook with many of the top 2016 publishers already put out of business. Facebook cut nearly two billion page views to conservative websites in 2018. Google regularly censors conservative content. Twitter eliminates conservative users and shadow-bans thousands of conservative accounts. Now Democrats who are the real fascists want complete elimination of conservative voices online.
PayPal CEO Dan Schulman admitted that PayPal works with the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center when it considers blacklisting conservatives.
In Miami, eight staffers have been fired at Radio and TV Martí over a report that referred to George Soros as “anti-Semitic” and exposed his Nazi past. Firings began following an investigation by the Office of Cuba Broadcasting which oversees the stations, and which are funded by the US Agency for Global Media in Washington, DC, controlled by the Left. Former US senator Jeff Flake (RINO and globalist) and Democrat Senator Bob Menendez (has been accused of various misdeeds) accused the station of anti-Semitism and demanded the investigation. An employee who asked not to be identified for fear of reprisals said, “The environment that has been created by the upper hierarchy of the Agency for Global Media is repressive. People write with fear.”

Marxists, Socialists and Communist Agendas Abound
More dumbing down of the children: North Carolina is considering a bill that would significantly lower the scale used to grade the performance of state public schools.
A radical Marxist professor, Joshua Clover, is still on the faculty at University of California, Davis, despite in 2014-15 posting tweets such as cops “need to be killed,” on Thanksgiving saying he’s “thankful that every living cop will one day be dead, some by their own hand, some by others, too many of old age,” and similar offensive remarks. UC Davis spokeswoman said “his public statements are protected by the First Amendment.” Yet that doesn’t apply to conservative professors.
The City of Chicago is failing thanks to decades of failed Democrat policies. The city’s middle-class has practically disappeared. While the city has gained higher income residents in a few small regions of the city, 75% of the city is now home to low or “very low” income households.
Socialist shills want to keep jobs from America in their takedown agenda: “As community activists in Virginia (emboldened by Ocasio-Cortez’s successful campaign to drive Amazon out of Queens) push back against Amazon’s plan to build a headquarters in Crystal City, VA, it looks like Amazon is preemptively scaling back its plans to expand in Seattle as it braces for more pushback from “progressives.”
South Africa’s descent into chaos, violence, and tyranny offers a sneak preview of what may be coming to America and the rest of the Western world if current trends continue. The same anti-God, anti-freedom forces that brought South Africa to the brink of collapse are working to unleash the same evil in America.
Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó has called on other nations to consider “all measures” to oust socialist dictator Maduro. Pressure is building after Maduro denied food and medical aid to enter the country. Deadly clashes occurred last weekend between government forces and hundreds of demonstrators. At least four people were killed and many were injured. Over 100 troops abandoned their posts and fled to Columbia. They fear their relatives will face reprisals.
In Algeria, tens of thousands have taken to the streets against the socialist dictator President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who has ruled for 20 years unimpeded by law. He is running for a fifth term, and the citizens say no more. Police fired tear gas at protesters in the capital, Algiers. 183 protesters have been injured and over 50 officers were injured, with 45 people arrested. Algerians have long tolerated a political system with little space for dissent as a price to pay for peace and stability.
Border Disorder
The US House of Representatives voted to revoke President Trump’s emergency declaration over building a US-Mexico border wall. It now goes to the Republican-majority Senate for a vote.
In New York, federal agents raided a fentanyl and heroin mill operating out of a rented home in the wealthy community of Ardsley. They found five kilograms (over 11 pounds) of fentanyl and six kilograms (13.2 pounds) of heroin. The fentanyl alone was enough to kill two million people. Arrested for conspiracy and possession were Braulio Mata, Jose Garcia, and Yarly Mendoza-Delorbe who lived at the home. Ramon Aracena Alfe and Dionell Duarte Hernandez were arrested for possession. One resisted arrest.
In Reynosa, Mexico (borders with Texas) six people died in the most recent wave of drug cartel violence.
Pushing of Victim Mentality and its Consequences
Another hate crime hoax exposed: Nikki Joly, a “transgender’ activist and gay rights leader who was named citizen of the year in Michigan in 2018, is now charged with arson. She/he burned down she/he’s own home, killing five pets inside in what was initially investigated as an alleged hate crime.
In Massachusetts, Rosiane Santos, who was arrested last week for attacking a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at a restaurant, claims she’s the victim and was provoked even though the man did nothing to provoke her. She’s been found to be an illegal immigrant from Brazil.
In the already cash-strapped state of New York, Democrat lawmakers introduced a new bill that pushes spending over $500 million in taxpayer money to provide free healthcare for illegal immigrants.
Hatred of the Jewish People
Terrorist attack in the Old City of Jerusalem: Several days ago, Arab terrorists hurled firebombs at a transport vehicle full of Israeli families. The vehicle burned completely, but miraculously no one was injured.
In France, Strasbourg’s memorial to the synagogue that was sacked and burned by Nazis during World War II was vandalized on Saturday, two weeks after 100 Jewish graves were desecrated in the same city.
The World Council of Churches Program in Israel ostensibly sends delegates to monitor and report human rights abuses. It’s a sham; it’s an Anti-Israel Group with an Anti-Israel agenda.
In the UK at Essex University, students voted against starting a Jewish society after a Holocaust denier complained. Due to the Left, Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party, Jew-hatred is normalized in Britain today. Politicians are rushing to win the vote of the growing Muslim population by becoming increasingly anti-Semitic.
Members of Harvard University’s Harvard Club invited a “Palestinian” guest lecturer. He was spreading so many lies and hatred that one young female Jewish member of the Harvard Club said, “I believe that peace comes through education. How are you trying to pave the road for peace when you teach the next generation to kill Jews, and strap bombs on the children? At that point, a man grabbed her and called her a slut. A woman yelled out, “Get her out of here.” There were also calls to kick her out of the club. The entire audience was against her.
Next to the Polish border in Belarus, during excavations for a residential development and shopping mall, a mass grave of 1,000 Jewish men, women and children shot in the head by Nazis during WWII was unearthed. Yet we have Jew-hating Holocaust deniers. For example, so-called pastor Steven Anderson (of the infamous Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona) who spews hatred weekly in his sermons, claims Holocaust survivors are lying.
Hatred of Christianity
Over 30 Nigerian Christians were killed by Islamic Fulani herdsmen, who’ve been systematically targeting believers living on lands the terrorists claim as theirs. They burned homes and churches.
In North Korea, Christian persecution continues to worsen. They were hoping negotiations this week between Kim Jong Un and President Trump would lead to peace and their ability to worship God freely without being persecuted, tortured and killed. But the peace summit failed. Kim wanted US sanctions lifted without North Korea committing to eliminate its nuclear arsenal.
The 100-year-old Maryland war memorial called the “Peace Cross” is being challenged by atheists who took their case to the Supreme Court, which is “arguing” the case at this time. Atheists say it should be moved to private property or modified into a slab or obelisk. If the justices rule against the monument, it could threaten hundreds of monuments nationwide. [The Obelisk, a pyramid-topped monolithic pillar, has its origins at the entrances of ancient Egyptian temples with dedications to their sun god.]

New York City Muslim cleric Abul Amreeki told his congregants they must not befriend or engage in alliances with Christians and Jews, which is commanded in the Qur’an 5:51. This and many other verses prove Muslim’s don’t worship the God of the Bible. Still many remained deceived due to politicians, the media, the pope and some so-called pastors who spread the lie.
In Sweden, the official welcome sign to Gävle features a Muslim woman in a hijab, Suzan Hindi, who has connections to an ISIS mosque.
Wars and Rumors of Wars
Dmitry Kiselyov, presenter of Russia’s main weekly TV news show, revealed a map of America with marked off targets should a Cold War-style nuclear war develop between Russia and the US. Kiselyov also detailed a hypersonic missile that Putin’s team is developing, which would allegedly be able to hit America in less than five minutes.
Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Russia’s Vlad Putin regarding Iranian entrenchment in Syria. He has met with Putin more than any other world leader. We hope he knows he can’t trust Putin.
The “Palestinian” Islamic Jihad terror group boasted that it has developed a new missile that can hit beyond Tel Aviv, threatening to turn Israeli cities into “hell.”
Turkey has launched the largest maritime drill in the country’s history, testing its war-fighting capabilities in the Black Sea, Aegean Sea, and eastern Mediterranean simultaneously.
In the continuing war in Somalia, Muslim militants stormed an area lined with hotels, shops and restaurants, then seized a nearby building leaving 20 people dead.
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated further this week after each country said it carried out airstrikes against the other, prompting concerns about a potential outbreak of war. One analyst said, “We are now in unprecedented territory.”

Facebook spent years forging various partnership agreements with other digital media monsters to gobble up huge troves of users’ private data even when customers are not on Facebook.
Police in Canada are tracking people’s ‘negative’ behavior in a ‘risk’ database. The database includes detailed, but “de-identified,” information about people’s lives culled from conversations between police, social services, health workers, and more.
Beast Technology
The company “Soul Machines’” 5G technology can make digital humans look real and turn real people into holograms. The idea is that you’ll engage with a digital person to interact in some customer service fashion. “You can’t help but be wigged out by the prospect of not knowing if the person you are communicating with is human. And that is kind of creepy.”
A study shows mice can be given infrared “night vision” for up to 10 weeks through a simple injection with negligible side effects. This could serve as the basis for human “super vision.”
In Spain at the Mobile World Congress Technology Event, a man received an RFID chip implant in his right hand. He didn’t receive the mark of the beast since that will occur in the Tribulation when the False Prophet demands everyone take Antichrist’s mark of worship or die; but this is surely promoting beast technology. London-based OneWeb is set to launch the first six satellites in its multi-billion-pound project to take the internet to every corner of the globe. Other companies also promise to do the same. This can be used for good such as spreading the gospel, but also for evil such as what the Antichrist will use it for. For example: The world will be able to see the two witnesses killed during the Tribulation, to his delight. BUT, to his surprise, the world will also see them rising from the dead and ascending to heaven, just as Bible prophecy tells us (Rev 11).
Papal Push to Propagate its Presence in the Promised Land
During the Axis Tel Aviv conference at the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, Pope Francis gave the green light for the Vatican to invest in Israeli ventures. The Vatican has long sought to have its snaking vines wrap around the Holy Land… and the world (Rev 17).
The “Peace and Security” Proposal
Israel’s PM Netanyahu has issued a terse denial of Education Minister Naftali Bennett’s claim that Netanyahu and Trump are coordinating the presentation of a plan to establish a Palestinian state a day or two after the (April 9 Israeli) election.
Kushner and Greenblatt are going through the Mideast to drum up support for the long-awaited “peace” proposal, meeting with Gulf leaders and even Turkey’s Erdogan. They discussed increasing cooperation between the US and these nations, and discussed ways to improve the entire region through economic investment. But Arab/Muslim leaders aren’t interested in economic development in the region. The safety of the Arab nations (mostly Sunni Muslims) is threatened by war-mongering Iran (mostly Shiite Muslims) which intends to develop a nuclear weapon. The Sunni Arab nations need the US and Israel to keep the Iran threat at bay.
The “Peace and security” proposal is to be released after Israel’s election that Kushner says would build on the 1990s Oslo accords (which provided a foundation for Palestinian statehood and were signed but fell apart before being successfully implemented). Unlike previous negotiations between just Israel and the “Palestinian” leaders, this peace proposal involves other Arab nations. Nations that fear the Iran threat and are sick of the fighting want “peace and safety (security).”
The cries for “peace and safety” are louder than they’ve ever been, but true peace won’t come until Jesus returns. It will be the Antichrist who will bring a temporary false peace.
Jewish Rabbis Prepare for a messiah
Calls to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem are louder than they’ve ever been. As I mentioned last week, a rabbi is claiming that the Messiah will make himself known after the Israeli election; and a crown is being made to present to him along with a call for 70 nations to unite behind the project. However, the True Messiah, Jesus, brings His own crowns when he comes; Antichrist will wear a crown given to him (Rev 6:2).
Conclusion
Anyone who knows Bible prophecy is aware that we are in the season of Christ’s return. This peace deal might not be accepted, but we can see events moving closer than ever to the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27. When you add to this the unprecedented weather events and more frequent strong earthquakes that are occurring, Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38-39 moving towards fulfillment, and the absolute wickedness and people’s loss of the ability to reason – then if you can’t feel something coming in the air, you have no nerve impulses.
“And he will *confirm a covenant with many for one week (of years), but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the abomination that causes desolation, until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him” (Daniel 9:27).
*You can only “confirm” a covenant that already exists.
This wicked world is ripe for judgment, but those in Christ are not appointed to wrath.
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief… Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober… For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ… Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do” (see 1 Thess 5:1-11).
