Zelensky: There may be a referendum on Ukraine territories. President Zelensky maintains there’s no question of giving up territory to make some kind of peace with Russia, and he has opened the door to let the issue be decided by referendum: “Ukrainians must have their say.” The US is pushing for a demilitarized “free economic zone” in the east of the country as part of a deal to end the war. Zelensky says ceasefire must be in place before Ukraine can hold elections.
NATO chief Rutte warns allies to step up defence spending or be Russia’s next target. He urged this to prevent a war waged by Russia that could be “on the scale of war our grandparents and great-grandparents endured.” He said too many members of the military alliance didn’t feel the urgency of Russia’s threat in Europe.

IDF postpones planned strike on alleged Hezbollah site as Lebanese army searches it. The Israel Defense Forces on Saturday warned residents of Lebanon’s town of Yanouh to move at least 300 meters away ahead of planned airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure. But it was postponed after Lebanon’s army requested to “access the site that had been implicated and to address the violation of the agreement.” The IDF has warned it will attack military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization in response to its prohibited attempts to rebuild its activities in the area.
True Peace in Christ’s Eternal Kingdom
‘Times of the Gentiles’ and Beginning of Israel’s Preeminent Position Among the Nations. During the past 2,500 years, Jews have been hounded, hunted, and hated, but God promises the age to come will be completely different (Zechariah 8:22-23). So, even though the world must first endure the revived form of that final Gentile empire which will sweep the planet with its marauding hordes, seize Israel, and triumph over Jerusalem, we confidently look for that promised fifth eternal kingdom as prophesied in Daniel 7:13-14:
“I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.”
