As the Hate Rises, Israel Marches On

The British historian Sir Arnold Toynbee detested the fact that the Jews had survived and would go on to become a sovereign nation again. He derisively referred to them as a “living fossil.” Meaning, sometimes we find a species of animal still living in nature, after it was thought to be extinct.

This is the beauty and glory of modern Israel. Defiant in the face of withering attacks through history. Safe in the palm of God’s hand.

As the IDF pushes through Khan Younis, one of the last strongholds of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, satanic views of Israel and the Jews are pulsing throughout society. Even now in America, once a place of safety for Jews feeling persecution. Soulless politicians/grifters like Obama and Biden did everything they could to place Israel in great danger. God will not permit these satanic plans to flourish. And, as we see the Church Visible in America descend further into false teaching, we see a handful of brave souls still supporting the Apple of God’s Eye. This week I saw some of them, posting on X.

Meanwhile, the usual suspects lie about Israel, as the Jewish state readies 60,000 troops to finish the job in Gaza City. From the Jerusalem Post:

“Al-Arabiya notes, ‘Israel prepares to evacuate thousands from Gaza, Red Cross warns. The Red Cross confirms that mass evacuation is impossible.’ Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, has called on the international community to take stronger action to stop the offensive in Gaza City.”

And the Jordanians, who have been saved time after time by Israel, from terrorists, click their teeth:

“Arab News reported that ‘Jordan’s foreign minister on Friday called on the international community to take stronger action against Israel in response to the nation’s latest military offensive in Gaza, warning that continued impunity will only fuel further regional instability.’”

From Open Source Intel on X:

“France may open an embassy in Ramallah after recognizing a Palestinian state next month, Emmanuel Macron’s advisor Ofer Bronchtein told @almagor_tomer. He said the October 7 massacre ‘would not have happened if there had been a Palestinian state,’ adding: ‘We are trying to prevent Israel from entering Gaza City.’ Bronchtein warned Israel will face ‘very strong resistance’ from the international community, though Paris hopes ‘to avoid the imposition of sanctions.’”

With only 10,000 residents left in Gaza City neighborhoods, media continue their evil propaganda against Israel. And that Jew-hating, iconic organization, The Red Cross, insists that it is “impossible” to move Arab citizens out of Gaza City. That’s a bald-faced lie.

To me, though, all this is stronger and stronger proof that God exists and that He will have the last laugh. As mankind rages against the Jewish state, and Jews worldwide, the Living Fossil exists! This is a great strengthening of our faith, even in our own lives. As evil rises, Good is rising faster and stronger. Think of it. We can get caught up in the terrible news, or we can focus on irrefutable facts: Israel exists. The IDF exists and is God’s hedge for the people. God has promised us that Israel will endure, while He will execute judgement against her enemies.

No one can get rid of these facts. Let us hope the terrible war is concluded within the next couple weeks. Keep lifting up the Jewish people. God loves them and so do we!

With a Little Help from My “Friends”

 October 7, 2023 was a culture-shifting moment for the whole world. Once again, the obsession with the tiny nation of Israel is bringing about all sorts of strange things. Israel has been forced into a protracted war, mainly due to Western diplomacy. One day—in the next life—there will be divine judgement on corrupt politicians and diplomats and media figures that impeded Israel’s ability to finish-off Hamas quickly.

And in the last few months, what we thought were media friends have turned out to be part of the enemy. Tucker Carlson (he had such great potential) has shown himself to be a Jew-hater, with scores of guests for his podcast excoriating Israel. Carlson interviews guests that say we should have joined Hitler in fighting the Soviets in World War 2, and that if so, the Holocaust might not have happened!

What madness is this? Only a reprobate mind would think of such a thing.

This week we find that Megyn Kelly interviewed Marjorie Taylor-Greene, long known as a MAGA representative in Congress, and a strong Trump supporter. Among other topics, they are angry that Israel invites congressional leaders to visit. Just like every other UN country does. Everyone courts U.S. power and influence.

The President needs to distance himself from such people. Kelly and Greene allege that the Israel Lobby in Washington controls our government and they vowed not to visit the country, even though they’ve been invited “a lot.” Greene also beats the drum about annual U.S. aid to Israel. She ignores the other 100 countries we give aid to (and get little in return, including gratitude).

Members of Congress are constantly courted for visits from scores of countries. Why single-out Israel?

Because Jew-hatred is exploding in this country. Which tells me it was always under the surface, and is now becoming mainstream. A nation cannot stand if it turns its back on the Jews. Look at history.

As to Greene’s attack on annual aid to Israel, she leaves out a lot of context. The $3.8 billion “given” to Israel comes back, every dime, because they buy military products from us. Above that, the intelligence value alone is worth far more than the amount of aid. Too, as to the question of “Jewish lobbying” in Washington, AIPAC has an operating budget of $50 million. Big Pharma is seven times that, and that doesn’t include the added hundreds of millions from Big Tech. Why is she singling-out Israel? Because that’s what Jew-haters do.

Reports have also come out that Israel has approved plans for new dwellings in the area of Maale Adumim, just east of Jerusalem. This is the report from The New York Slimes:

“Israel gave final approval on Wednesday to a settlement project in the heart of the occupied West Bank that supporters and critics alike say will deal a major blow to the contiguity of territory that Palestinians hope will be part of a future independent state.

“The project, known as E1, was delayed for more than two decades, often following pressure by the United States. But the Trump administration has been far less critical of settlements than previous administrations, or most of the international community, which generally considers them to be illegal and obstacles to Israeli-Palestinian peace.”

The Times calls Jewish communities in their ancestral land “radicals.” They know not what they do. We have entered into a period in which standing with Israel is literally going to cost you something. Work, “friendships,” family cohesiveness.

The vise is closing on Israel. The Era of Abandonment has begun.

We are calm, because Scripture tells what is to come. Yet we continue to pray for our beloved Israel!
