In September of 2012, as Barack Obama was running for his second term as president, all references to God were eliminated from the Democrat Party platform. Apparently, the party recognized the hypocrisy of paying lip service to a God that stands in opposition to everything that they believe.
It was at that time that Barry Soetoro became the god of the Democrat Party. This party has certainly been made in his image.
In drafting the original platform, Democrat leaders had removed references to God (and to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel) due to the fact that most of their constituents were offended by Him. They didn’t merely forget to mention God; in updating previous party platforms, they made a conscious decision to remove Him.
When the Democrat Party was publicly criticized for this omission, they attempted to put some token reference to God back into their platform. They thought doing so would be an easy fix for them politically. However, they did not work that hard at making sure an amendment placing God back into their platform would pass. They failed to understand how unpopular God was among their constituents.
Even some of their leaders seemed to underestimate the level of Godlessness and evil that had taken over their party.
When the amendment was announced, a large percentage of the delegates at the Democrat Party convention were in opposition to it. It was reported that thousands of bloggers were writing that delegates at the Democrat convention in Charlotte booed when God was reintroduced back into their party’s platform. Video evidence of this event confirms their observations.
Imagine that. A powerful American political party that ‘boos’ God.
As usual, the press had no interest in the truth of what actually occurred. They immediately moved to suppress the truth by obfuscating the events that took place. The media was only interested in protecting the Democrats from any political fallout that might occur from this incident.
There was no criticism of the attempt to remove God completely from their platform, and no one lost their job because of it. They just got caught and went into damage control mode rather than make any attempt to show reverence for the Creator of the world.
That is, the Creator of the world who sent His only Son to die for our sins.
There were numerous ‘Christians’ who voted for Obama and did not seem the least bit concerned about this oversight. That should have been our first clue that there was something rotten in our churches.
This rot has been responsible for the untimely death of most of the churches in the Western hemisphere.
Now that most of our churches are spiritually dead, even Democrats can now call themselves ‘Christians’ with the appearance of credibility.
In 2020, according to Reuters, it was reported that participants in the Democrat Party convention had left out “under God” in the pledge of allegiance. At the LGBT Caucus Meeting, Dr. Marisa Richmond, a DNC delegate who identifies as transgender and teaches women’s studies at Middle Tennessee State University, led the Pledge of Allegiance but paused silently in the place of the words “under God.”
He/‘she’ was holding both the American flag and the gay pride flag, which dropped to the floor in the middle of the pledge.
Once again, the press stepped in to obfuscate what actually occurred in order to give cover to the Democrats. The first thing they did was to claim that the DNC did not authorize the omission of “under God” in the pledge of allegiance.
Even if this was the case, what is more important is that the DNC did not correct this or offer any criticism of the offenders. They simply attacked the political opposition with the help of their media lapdogs, and the whole controversy was put to rest.
The removal of God from a pollical party’s platform is an act of evil. We are not simply dealing with sinners anymore; we are dealing with something much worse. We are dealing with people who have made the transition from sinner to evildoer, and they are not shy about letting the rest of us know about their ‘transition.’
And our ‘mainstream’ press is in bed with them.
We can all be grateful that God is patient with us, not wanting any of us to perish but for all to come to repentance. When we begin to exhaust the patience of God, that is when we start to experience His wrath.
However, His fury is not always expressed with hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanos, and other natural disasters.
His most devastating judgment against us is abandonment.
Since sinners (unbelievers) demand total autonomy, in His mercy, God turns us over to our natural stupidity (i.e., our reason unguided by faith) so that we can experience the consequences of our own foolishness. When this occurs, we begin to make reckless decisions that are counter to our best interests.
This was a major theme in Christ’s parable of the Prodigal Son.
When these people vote for Godless politicians, these politicians will act in accordance with their nature. Voters of low moral character vote for politicians of low moral character.
That is why, instead of solving real-world problems, we are neck deep in false accusations of ‘racism,’ men being labeled women and vice versa, and ridiculous proclamations of ‘climate change.’ Those who engage in this kind of behavior would be immediately identified as unworthy of political power by a Godly society.
However, when a large portion of the voting population has no moral fortitude, we cannot expect them to vote for politicians with strong moral fortitude.
Democrat voters seem to have disdain for God and his law, but they are perfectly comfortable with Stalinism and the tyranny that comes with it. When we see people like Howard Stern or other comedians seemingly take a strong stand against oppression, we seldom take note of the fact that what they abhor is moral’ oppression.’
When evil begins to make demands of people like Stern, they fold like a cheap tent.
The Godless reject a strong moral authority and have created a new term that they can oppose called ‘Christian nationalism.’ The Democrat power brokers have polled this term and found that their Godless voters have disdain for it. They are well versed in Rule 11 of Saul Alinsky’s satanic book “Rules for Radicals.”
Pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it.
However, the Godless will always be drawn to any ideology that leads to a totalitarian form of government. They are joyfully obedient to those who do not demand any level of morality from their citizens. They echo the words of actors like Arnold Schwarzenegger – who apparently has no moral fortitude – when he issued the battle cry of the left: “To hell with freedom; take the vaccine!”
This kind of ignorance is a part of the judgment of God.
As we sink deeper into our own depravity, it is God’s desire that we recognize our sorry state and repent.
The deeper we sink into decadence, the more difficult it is to extricate ourselves from our plight. Like Pharoah during the time of Moses, we begin to harden our hearts in the face of unrelenting judgment instead of repenting and submitting to the will of God.
If we continue to harden our hearts, God will eventually lose patience, take over the hardening of our hearts, and render us ‘beyond redemption.’
There are some Christians who do not believe that a person can ever be ‘beyond redemption.’ They base this on the idea that God is outrageously merciful and we can all be thankful that He is. However, Scripture teaches that there are at least two occasions when God declares a person beyond redemption.
One is when we repeatedly harden our hearts against the Lord to the point where He takes over the hardening (as in the case of Pharoah; Romans 9:18). God bears with great patience the objects of his wrath, allowing them every opportunity to repent before disposing of them. In the end, those who refuse to repent are revealed to be those who were not made for noble purposes but rather for ‘common use.’
The other is when we confessed our faith in Christ and then fell away (Hebrews 6:4-8).
Those ‘pastors’ who preach a different Gospel than the one Paul preached without repentance are of the first group. A pastor can only take the Lord’s name in vain so many times before God loses patience, and they become the objects of His wrath.
The apostle Peter was clear on the second point when he wrote, “For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world [sin] through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ [faith], they are again entangled in them [return to unbelief] and overcome [like a dog returns to his vomit], the last state has become worse for them than the first [because they are crucifying Christ all over again]. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness [to remain in unbelief] than after knowing it [receiving the gift of faith] to turn back from the holy commandment [to remain in the faith] delivered to them (II Peter 2:20-22).
As creatures created in the image of God, the requirements of God’s law are written on our hearts. Even atheists are fully aware that there is a God because God has made it plain to them. His invisible qualities, his eternal power, and divine nature are clearly understood so that all men are without excuse for rejecting Him.
Among these requirements are that we glorify God as God and give thanks for his many blessings. Because His love is better than life, we should always glorify the Lord. We should praise Him for as long as we live because He gave us the gift of life, died for our sins, and His Holy Spirit grieves over us even in our rebellion.
Those who call themselves atheists are fully aware that there is a God, that He is good, and that He is responsible for their creation. Their problem is that they do not like Him. They do not want His love, they reject His Son, and they despise His Holy Spirit. They then spend their lives ‘pretending’ He does not exist.
Those who call themselves agnostics are pretty much in the same boat. They hide behind lack of knowledge as a poor excuse for rejecting God.
How anyone can build a philosophy around ‘lack of knowledge’ is a mystery that is not worth solving. The heart is deceitful, and we can all be ‘agnostic’ in the fact that there is no way to know it.
Atheists and Agnostics work diligently to suppress the truth of God. They are driven by the desire to break the chains of His law and throw off the fetters of faith. They yearn to be like God, defining truth and righteousness for themselves and demanding that others adhere to their new concoction.
And they do this despite the fact that God, in His love even for the rebellious, works diligently and patiently to draw them in.
The more we distance ourselves from God, the dimmer the light of reason grows. The gift of faith contains within it the seeds of the understanding of love, truth, and righteousness. When people reject the faith, they lose access to these virtues and instead succumb to hatred, falsehood, and wickedness.
We were warned that such things would happen when we attempt to distance ourselves from God and His Word.
The Psalmist writes:
“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’
They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds;
there is none who does good” (Psalm 14:1).
Those who wish to define love, truth, and righteousness for themselves always turn to idolatry. When we worship God, we are subject to His word. When we worship idols, we exchange the glory of the immortal God for images of created creatures. These images do not require anything from us other than our adoration, and in return, they allow us to create a new reality apart from God.
This new reality alters our perception of the virtues of love, truth, and righteousness until they become unrecognizable.
When this occurs, things start getting really ugly. God begins to distance Himself even further from the rebel. Since self-will is their goal, God turns them over to the sinful desires of their hearts. They begin to degrade their bodies with one another through the sin of fornication, which, if they remain unrepentant, leads them into the fires of hell.
This is the consequence of those who fall into idolatry. When we do, we are no longer led by God’s law but instead grow to disdain it. We begin to descend into immoral and destructive behavior that causes us to make foolish decisions. When we make foolish decisions, our ability to maintain decent relationships becomes much more difficult.
When we examine the ‘mental disorders’ in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V), we find that most of these ‘ailments’ are caused by repeated foolish decisions. The ‘mentally ill’ become slaves to their idols and, by doing so, destroy their families and ruin their lives.
The word of God is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet. When we follow God’s righteous laws, good things happen, and joy fills our hearts. When we disobey God’s laws, we exchange the truth of God for a lie, and the end is always despair.
This fact is made especially salient when we consider the sin of fornication.
Fornication is responsible for many of the most terrible ills that plague every society.
Our children seek abortions because of this sin. The terrible sexually transmitted diseases, some of which cannot be cured, are the result of it. It is responsible for the broken relationships, divorce, and loneliness that plague the hearts of humanity.
Although it is glorified and minimized by perverts in Hollywood, its destructiveness cannot be overstated.
Once God begins to distance Himself from the rebel and turns him over to self-will, He allows him to wallow more deeply in his own filth. Suddenly any stray perverse thought takes on greater meaning and is considered a viable option. The rebel begins to believe that if he thought it, and if sufficient dopamine accompanied that thought, it must be who he truly is.
God then turns rebellious men and women over to the sin of homosexuality. This sin is an even deeper level of debauchery and is an indication that God is abandoning you. These behaviors are a warning from God that he allows us to engage in with the hope that we will see our plight, unharden our hearts, and repent.
Those who refuse to repent are approaching the point of being ‘beyond redemption.’ When God turns us over to homosexuality, we are experiencing the consequences of abandonment. The heathen often describes this experience as being ‘liberated.’ They no longer feel bound by God’s ‘oppressive’ law. People who talk like this are on the precipice of being beyond redemption.
When God’s mercy ends, and he hardens our hearts, all that is left is the fearful expectation of judgment and raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
When society begins to approve of this behavior, it is clear that God is abandoning that society as well. When a culture begins to mock the warnings of God with ‘gay pride parades’ and ‘drag queen story hour,’ there is no question that God’s patience is coming to an end.
It is not long before the land itself is ready to vomit out its inhabitants.
It is sin that defiles the land and causes it to be sickened by those who defile it, not climate change. God will send upon a rebellious nation curses, confusion, and rebuke until everything they put their hand to fails. The Lord will plague that society with disease and strike it with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation.
He will send scorching heat and drought as the sky becomes like bronze and the ground like concrete. This is no doubt why Satan and his demons invented the silly notion of climate change. This ideology hardens the hearts of sinners and keeps them from repentance in the face of God’s more physically destructive judgments.
Instead of repentance, the deluded morons of the world will turn their freedom over to the evil Globalists for proper disposal. As God sends His judgments upon the earth, this will seem like verification that the climate hoaxers were right all along. The problem was never their perverse lifestyle; it was that they were ‘selfishly’ enjoying the fruits of their labor that were degrading the earth.
The more freedom they give up, however, the more of their freedom that will be demanded of them.
Once they are completely enslaved, they may begin to perceive that they were duped. By then, it will be too late. They will be at the mercy of worldwide tyranny.
God is turning the world over to the evil Globalists at this very moment as an act of judgment against it.
This wicked and perverse generation has not found it worthwhile to retain a knowledge of God.
It is for this reason that God has given many of them over to a depraved mind. He no longer makes the effort to draw them in. Instead, God is now turning the world over to powerful people who will treat them mercilessly.
The people of this society have become so depraved that its mothers take their children to ‘Drag queen story hour.’ The mind that came up with his idiocy is completely debauched. The person who celebrates it, and exposes their children to it, have had their consciences seared as with a hot iron. They have become heartless and cruel as they sexually debase their child while foolishly believing that they are teaching him a wonderful moral lesson.
What is more is that these mothers are actually anxious to have their children sexually mutilated in order to change their gender. Even though they know that these sex operations will turn their children into eunuchs, they are more than happy to destroy their sexuality to appease the purveyors of the newly invented sex cult. These women are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, and depravity.
Those who offer their services to pervert and mutilate children are God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful as they invent ways of doing evil. They are senseless, faithless, heartless, and ruthless.
These ‘pediatricians’ would love to prosecute anyone who dares to offer resistance to their wickedness.
And they are very close to succeeding.
While this wickedness is going on, there are many other members of this society that approve of those who practice evil. Even though they know that they deserve hell for their depravity, they watch with glee as people of faith are appalled by their behavior.
Once this point is reached, a society is beyond redemption.
Once our society moved into even greater depravity than the acceptance of homosexuality, it seems that it had ‘crossed the Rubicon of God’s mercy.’ Once our Supreme Court codified gay marriage in 2015, our society ‘hit the iceberg’ of God’s wrath, and there is likely no coming back at this point.
Marriage is a divine mystery that reflects the relationship between Christ and the church.
When gay marriage was codified by the Supreme Court, I believe God was letting us know that most of our churches had severed their relationship with Him and had exhausted His patience.
Fortunately, Jesus has left the door open to his one true church and will call us home when the Holy Spirit has completed His work.
It is not possible to know exactly when God has taken over the hardening of a person’s or a nation’s heart. It is done by God’s Sovereign choice. For the evangelist, all rebellious people should be warned that if they continue to harden their hearts, they may finally exhaust the patience of God. This information should be used in conjunction with the Gospel so that the unbeliever understands the critical necessity to immediately repent.
It is crucial to understand that we are not to pass judgment on these people. This kind of behavior tortures the souls of the faithful to the delight of the wicked. It is extremely difficult not to condemn them in the harshest terms possible.
Our job is to call them to repent.
In the meantime, we should do our best to leave room for God’s wrath rather than our own.
God is better at judgment than we are.
God makes it clear that those who engage in fornication and homosexual behavior are approaching the point of being beyond redemption. Those who approve of these behaviors are no better off. Those who mock people of faith are hardening their hearts to their own destruction.
It is one thing to engage in these behaviors and then experience Godly regret; it is another thing completely to proclaim that these behaviors are good. When these behaviors are called ‘good,’ God’s law and His servants who proclaim the Gospel are by necessity considered ‘evil.’
Isaiah prophesied about this level of depravity:
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21).
The person to whom ‘woe’ is applied is beyond redemption.
One of my fellow parishioners once asked our study group, “Is it possible to be a Christian and a Democrat?” The sad fact is that only two of us said that it is not possible. This is not because Republicans are really any better people than the Democrats. It is because the Republican Party legislators are elected by Christians who hold them accountable for any evil they may perpetrate.
That is why many Republican politicians do not like Christians any more than the Democrats.
The Democrats do not have any voters who will hold them accountable for their wickedness. Evil is a résumé enhancement for most Democrat voters.
Most elected Republicans are zealous for this kind of constituency.
Any “Christian” who votes for a party that ‘boos’ God and corrupts everything they touch is either not a Christian or extremely weak in the faith.
There is an interesting statement in Ecclesiastes that has political and religious ramifications for us today. In today’s vernacular, we refer to the left and the right regarding one’s political bent.
This passage is prescient in the view that God takes of the man whose heart is to the left or to the right.
“A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left. Even when the fool walks on the road, he lacks sense, and he says to everyone that he is a fool” (Ecclesiastes 10:2-3).
The wise man, the man of faith, uses his gift of understanding in a proper, expert way. The fool, who is on the left, corrupts everything he touches.
Who can deny that the Democrats, who are owned by the political left, corrupt the law, the economy, the border, foreign policy, the budget, and everything else they touch? The most corrupt judges are always appointed by Democrats. They always fight for tyranny and against what is right. If there is a wrong side of an issue, they will almost always occupy it.
It was easy for the Globalists to purchase Democrat politicians because they really only stood for greed and tyranny anyway. There are still some Republicans who have not been purchased, and if we ever get a legitimate president again, our legislators can be forced to do what is right through the political will of his voters.
If this should occur in 2024, it will be the most tumultuous time in American history. The left will never accept a legitimate president who loves the country. The evil globalists and their religious advisors will work furiously to undermine him by causing social, spiritual, and financial havoc. Few leaders will have the moral fortitude to stand against the evil that these people are prepared to perpetrate.
However, even the terrible tumult they will cause will be preferable to being under the thumb of the wicked and Godless Democrat Party.
We have watched helplessly as the Democrats have acquitted the guilty and condemned the innocent. This is especially true when we observe how they have dealt with the issue of abortion.
People who pray in front of abortion clinics are prosecuted mercilessly. On the other hand, those who destroy pro-life clinics and threaten their lives are allowed to roam free to do as they please.
They have repeatedly falsely and maliciously accused a prior president (Trump) of phony crimes, and they have jailed people (Doug Mackey) who mock their corrupt politicians.
There is no level of depravity to which they will not sink. There is no elected Democrat who has revolted against this corruption with any vigor because none have the moral fortitude to do it.
They praise the wicked and condemn the righteous. They are allies with Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa but call people who love their country racists and traitors. BLM cares nothing for human life, especially black lives, and is composed primarily of evil white communists who have no conscience.
As for Antifa, they are nothing more than anarchists who steal and destroy the property of others, and their ethnic composition is similar to BLM.
The wisdom of Solomon will probably do the Democrats no good, but I will remind them anyway.
“Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive against them. Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely” (Proverbs 28:4-5).
It is not only justice that these people do not understand, but their senselessness also expands into our education system as well. Our universities are no longer making people smarter; they are actually imposing complete stupidity on the most ‘educated’ members of our society.
When you send your child to these universities, they are not taught things that are useful for life; they are taught pure madness. When they are taught Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), they are literally being taught to be stupid. Any member of this society who thinks ethnicity or sexuality or climate change are of prime importance for societal progress is under the judgment of God.
He has turned them into morons.
The people who learn these things become incapable of being productive members of society. And since they always find themselves in leadership roles, they bring the rest of us down with them.
Thinking themselves wise, they become fools.
Fortunately, there is a day of judgment coming for the wicked. The Democrats, their voters, and all of the Godless have wearied the Lord by saying in their hearts, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them.”
They have taunted the faithful by asking, “Where is the God of justice?”
Satan has sown weeds among the wheat. In his wisdom, God allows both to grow together until the harvest. He will not pull up the weeds because they may uproot the wheat as well. The weeds will soon be collected in bundles to be burned.
The Lord has delivered His message to the weeds:
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 4:1-3).
That day cannot come soon enough for me.
