Alien Visitors to Earth – Congress Listens :: By Ron Ferguson

As I am writing this now, there is a Congressional hearing in the United States called by the White House into UFOs which are now called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). This hearing is chaired by a Mr. Grothman.

I was quite impressed with the number in attendance and the high profile this has, and on Day 1, the highlight was three persons of seemingly good credibility who testified as to their own experiences. One was a former navy pilot (Ryan Graves); one was associated with the aircraft carrier Nimez, a retired Navy Commander named David Fravor; and the third one was a whistleblower from within a government department that has been investigating these UFO sightings, and he is David Grusch. One man who had been working in intelligence into UFOs said quite categorically in answer to a question that the Government or a government agency actually has remains from crashed vehicles (space vehicles) that are not human.

I am not here to decide on anything but have two ears, though one is not as it should be, and I listen and think about it all.

This, of course, may be a dilemma for some Christians, while others will dismiss all this as a hoax.

I suppose all this raises the possibility of life on other planets, certainly not in our galaxy but in others, and the speculation will not go away but will increase. How is a Christian meant to understand all this? Of course, there will be many different opinions, and some people will be very adamant about their position. It is always amazing how some are so adamant with so little information, and that applies to any topic where evidence is circumstantial.

When we try to put all this together, I have come up with five possibilities to explain what many have put on record. These are the five possibilities (not counting hoaxes, of which there could be many).

  1. Delusions, or unexplained data. Optical illusions play a part, and so can imagination. Sometimes the brain wants to interpret what it can’t readily explain or identify.
  2. Human interventions from an unknown source. This could be either Government or private individuals or even from certain nations, though the latter possibility is quite remote because people testifying to all these sightings mention aspects that no human intervention has so far mastered.
  3. Aliens, or something visiting from space. I recently saw a science fiction movie from the early 1950s called “Cosmic Man,” the earlier term for what we would now call Aliens. In that decade, many Sci-fi movies were produced, and some of them featured aliens coming to Earth to explain the great danger to the universe of atomic testing. This was the “flying saucer age.” Hundreds upon hundreds of space movies and cataclysmic and apocalyptic subjects are everywhere.
  4. Unexplainable phenomena from nature. We do not understand some of our natural world and must not jump to conclusions if there is something that defies explanation.
  5. Demonic activity and signs in the atmosphere. Satan is the Prince of the air, and demons are powerful beings. They reside in the world’s atmosphere.

Many questions arise from each of those possibilities, and it is not my purpose at this time to try to explain them in detail. Of those five possibilities, the one that I would dismiss is number three because I do not think myself that God has placed life, certainly intelligent life, in any other place in the universe. The heavens show the glory of God and his magnificent handiwork, and I think He allows us to see that from the earthly perspective. I do not believe there is intelligent life on other planets, for then, in the definition of God’s creation, we must attribute souls and possibly spirits to that creation. I know that people like to speculate; even those in churches do that, but I feel sure that Earth is the only place where God has placed created life.

The explanation that I would favor, if all the recorded data is genuine, would be that of demonic activity. I am not being fanciful in saying that, but we are right at the end of the Church age, and many evil things are afoot. The demonic activity in my own nation is now like a skyrocket and getting worse by the day. This nation is adopting the spiritism and Satanism of the Aborigines at an intense pace, all promoted by the Federal and State governments. Satan’s power is increasing rapidly because people are pursuing wickedness, satanic activities, occult practices, and a denial of and hatred toward God.

Satan is the prince and power of the air, and the atmosphere is his realm, so it is not surprising that here at the very end before the Rapture – and we know that in the Tribulation, there are going to be such lying wonders and delusions with the greatest display of Satanism this world has ever known – that we might be seeing some of these lying wonders even in our own age to deceive further an unrepentant earth. It is little wonder that we might now be seeing strange things happening and an increasing account of what the world is now calling Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.

I think it is interesting that when the Rapture occurs, there will be three audible sounds for the ears of the Christians, not for the world, for the world will hear none of them. We are told the Lord descends with a shout, and I think that shout will be the words of Revelation chapter 4 verse one – “Come up here!” Then we have the sound of the trumpet, and that is the rallying call for all the believers since the time of Adam to rise to receive their new bodies. Then the third sound we read of is the voice of the Archangel, and we do not know what it is that Michael will say. However, this is just my thought that Michael’s voice will silence into impotence the demonic hordes that inhabit the atmosphere of this world as the saints rise and pass through Satan’s realm to the very presence of their blessed Saviour.

It will not surprise me at all if we get more and more reports of signs in the atmosphere around the world. I have searched quite thoroughly for science fiction movies that are available on YouTube, and I am surprised at how many there are stretching right back to the 1940s and coming out with increasing rapidity in these last few years. Many of them feature Alien invasion from spaceships and apocalyptic events such as meteorites hitting the earth, causing great destruction and the sun heating up. I happened to watch one of these recently, and it was putting me right in the middle of Revelation 16. The writers of these stories I doubt had any idea of the events in Revelation. What’s more, so many of them are churning this stuff out as if the world is being prepared for what is ahead.

This Congressional hearing in the United States is going to reveal some very surprising facts and events. I don’t dismiss them, that is, not all of them, and as I have said, I put them down to possible demonic signs and activity or maybe unknown signs in nature. At one stage, I would have dismissed any notion of UFOs (flying saucers), but something is happening, and I am not sure what.

There are things we cannot explain and must not jump to conclusions. Some years ago, I had left home about 5 o’clock in the morning in my boat that had no lights on, heading out to the Great Barrier Reef to do some reef fishing. I was a few miles offshore with just enough light to see, and on my left, about a half mile away, I saw a green light, a lovely glowing green. It had nothing to do with my boat or any light onshore, but this light traveled in a straight line, probably no more than 100 yards above the ocean, at a very rapid speed that I would estimate was somewhere around 100 meters a second. It went straight along parallel to the water, took a turn almost fully vertical, and quickly disappeared from view. I am not a looney, and I don’t know what it was I saw, but I am certain it was not alien and that it was not demonic. Some things we just can’t explain.

Just to finish on this – Some weeks back, I did watch one of these 1950 Sci-fi movies called “The 27th Day” (1957). Here is the story briefly I took from an Internet site:

An alien from a dying planet brings five average people from England, Germany, China, the Soviet Union, and the United States onto its spacecraft. Each person is given a case containing vials that can destroy all life within a 3,000-mile radius. They’re told that the earth will be spared complete destruction if all five can keep their respective governments from using the capsules for 27 days, but escalating Cold War tensions between the Americans and the Russians make that a difficult promise.

Well, the 5 of them did succeed, and the moral that ended the movie was that the world can cooperate (through the UN) to map out a bright future for mankind. They were the days when the UN was considered to be a body for world peace and advancement.

Today, Christians recognize the UN, especially the WHO, as one of the greatest forces of evil in the world.

There is a hymn/song that I can’t say I know, but it looks really good, written by Thomas Nelson and called “Glories of Christ.” Here is one stanza from it:

I’m worn with constant warring,

Where fiery darts still fly;

My weary soul is longing

To soar to realms on high.

For I long to see Christ come

And take all his ransomed home

To the house of many mansions,

There to rest in peace at home.

Yes, it will be very soon that WE WILL SOAR TO REALMS ON HIGH through Satan’s domain.

COME, LORD JESUS, COME.

“We” Aren’t Going to Save Anything :: By Dave Hubley

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

Over the last few years, in the process of following websites and watching the development of current events, I have found numerous “expositors” who posit that “we” will be the ones to save and rebuild the earth and carry on the reconstruction of what will be left of “civilization” after the disasters that are rapidly unfolding have run their course, or perhaps more accurately, been allowed to run their course by the Sovereign God, all the while under His complete control.

They seem to fall into two somewhat (general) categories:

  1. Christian conservatives who are ignorant of God’s prophetic Word.
  2. Conservatives who are unbelievers but can see total disaster unfolding.

Important clarification: The “WE” I refer to in the title is defined as people that think they will be acting independently of God and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ in a post-apocalyptic world. They seem to base this “we,” in large part, on preparation (prepping-financial, mental and physical). I am not against prepping, I think it is wise, but I don’t recommend it be done outside of the prophetic realities of God’s Word regarding true Bible-believing Christians and events that will unfold relative to the Rapture.

There are many who have been programmed to discount prophecy by any number of modern-day “pastors, preachers, and mentors.” They think and act in seemingly ambiguous ways as, without the bedrock of a true understanding of prophecy, everything is subjective. Sort of an “everything will pan out in the end” attitude?

Sadly, some of these people even mock the Rapture, the purpose of which they do not comprehend.

However, God is a God of order and not of chaos. Things don’t “pan out.” They have been “planned out” by God, and “His council will stand” (Isaiah 46:10).

It’s somewhat disheartening, in my opinion. They have not learned to or are not willing to trust in the authority of God as expressed in His Word.

It is always a good idea to read and understand the importance of prophecy, as made clear in Revelation 19:10.

“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Category 1: This requires understanding that their vision of the future depends entirely on their view, or lack of a view, of Bible prophecy.

By no means do I mean to imply that those who hold a different view of future events (eschatology) are not saved.

You are either a “Christian” based on the saving Grace of Jesus Christ, or you are not.

Nevertheless, it is important to make this distinction because if you misunderstand future prophecy, you misunderstand God’s sovereignty, His plan for man’s future, and more; His plan to dwell with saved, Christ- believing and following people forever on a recreated, sin-free earth (Revelation 21:1-7).

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture and Pre-Millennial viewpoint remove all doubt of these three realities:

  1. All true believers in Jesus Christ will be removed just prior to the execution of the judgments of Revelation beginning in Chapter 4:1, regardless of their eschatological view. They simply will no longer be present if they are legitimate Christ-worshipping, Bible-believing Christians, whether they believe it or not.
  2. When God completes execution of the judgments clearly defined in the Book of Revelation, there will not be the slightest chance of a “normal” resumption of human activities. Ever. That dispensation will have ended.
  3. Humankind is incapable of repairing the damage that has resulted from rampant sin, disobedience, and corruption of every single human institution, every human government, and the rule of law. That is a shimmering mirage in the current desert of despair.

Without Jesus Christ, humans would just begin the whole vicious cycle all over again.

This is one of the reasons why God will finally execute judgment on the world and limit its self-inflicted destruction in order to complete His perfect plan.

“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:22).

It is also why Category 2 (below) is vanity, based on humanism and humanism alone.

There are many fluffy definitions and “interpretations” of humanism, but they all share the same foundation built on the shifting sand of rejection and rebellion against the living God.

As ever, the Lord spoke to this futility long before the present time and events:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Emphasis added by me.

Category 2: This is a little less complicated. These folks are of the belief that somehow, humanity will engineer its own recovery through electing conservative politicians and leaders and restoring the rule of law, thus saving and rebuilding what was viewed as ops-normal in the past. This does not take sin into account, nor does it take God’s Word into account, as one would expect from unbelieving people.

A cursory, honest evaluation of human history should quickly dispel any hope of this as any kind of a viable “solution.”

It is important to note here that many of those who hold this conservative view are moral and upright people in human terms. They believe in a somewhat vague code of conduct, often referred to by the moniker of “conservatism.”

But that is just another “ism” designed to replace a true understanding of God with vain human philosophy that is foundering in a sea of rebellion.

It sounds solid to those who believe in it, but it is unsustainable.

So, they too will hopelessly put their trust in failed human leaders, confirming wisdom of the oft-heard saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same over and over again, expecting a different result.”

This a somewhat simplified synopsis of their optimistic assertions, which are based on a complete lack of accounting for God’s inerrant word and a complete lack of believing it.

It is this misplaced and unfounded trust in human leaders that will lead to the rise of antichrist and the final seven years of the world’s attempt to deny and displace God.

The result of trusting in this leader will only affirm the Truth of the Word of God and will result in worship of Satan through his agents, antichrist and the false prophet, and engender the severe consequences of doing so.

“He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So, he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God” (2 Thessalonians 4).

We all know what inevitably happens when absolute power is handed over to any one individual. History is replete with examples, none of which have ever ended well.

It is the perfect vehicle for mass genocide.

This will be magnified exponentially when that individual is evil personified.

We are seeing a “type” of this truth rapidly unfolding here in America.

Proof of the motivation for this God-denying activity was provided by the Lord in His Word approximately 1,000 years before the birth of Jesus.

“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against His Anointed One: ‘Let us break Their chains and cast away Their cords'” (Psalm 2:1-3).

Now to the crux of this article.

Many of these “expositors” that I referenced (Category 1) are, I believe, Christian believers, or at least they profess His Name. They seem quite sincere in their presentations as far as their view is concerned, but ultimately it is God’s plan that will be followed, not that of human imaginings.

It is always a good practice to remember that people can easily deceive themselves.

They (I hope) inadvertently contradict the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:11-13) and the Promise of God to rescue the True Church from the coming judgment of the unbelieving world [and the rescue of the remnant of Israel] (Revelation 3:10).

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:11-13). Emphasis added by me.

“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

One individual honestly claims that he is not a Bible expert but that he is a Christian. He is one of the more notable expositors who holds the view (and he has told his followers numerous times) that “we” will be the ones that will have to rebuild civilization after the coming collapse of existing financial, agricultural, etc., systems.

I would name names if it were just him alone, but that would not be fair, as there are many others who also hold this view. None of them hold the Pre-Tribulation view of prophecy, and that is why their understanding is skewed.

I would respectfully suggest that those who are Christians (Category one) need to spend more time in God’s Word and ask the Holy Spirit to lead them into all Truth so they may understand that it is by God’s authority that humans will be allowed to bring about many of these disasters.

Just as respectfully, I would urge those who have thus far ignored or rejected Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation (Category two) to face up to the futility of trusting in human “solutions” and receive Him as their Lord and Savior. (Please see the Special Message at the end of this article.)

Any restoration that will occur will be under the direction and authority of Jesus Christ during a 1000-year period of peace and prosperity foretold in Revelation 20:4, as He has planned right from the beginning.

It is and has always been one of God’s ways of bringing about judgment of man’s rebellion by allowing him to do “what is right in his own eyes” and reap the consequences.

God is Sovereign, and He has compassion on sinful man, as He has made clear.

“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:22).

The end is, I believe, very near, based on the testimony of Jesus (Luke 21:28).

Put no more trust in man, who has only the breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he? (Isaiah 2:22).

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9).

The Old Testament prophet was referring to the human heart.

Yes, he wrote it a long time ago.

Nothing about it has changed.

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God–The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
