On Sept. 2, 2024, John Bellam posted an excellent article on his website called “Bible Prophecy Information.”
He is just a small sample of what Bellam said:
>For almost 20 centuries, the prophetic signs of Christ’s return were so rare and sporadic that they were like a stray raindrop falling from a mostly clear sky. Something could be felt, but no one was sure what it was because the conditions in the atmosphere did not indicate rain was imminent. Starting in about 1897, however, the prophetic clouds began to gather more abundantly, and now, in 2024, the world is being hit with end times signs so powerful they are more resembling meteor showers than rain showers. What was the impetus for this end-times explosion of signs? How can we be sure that what we are witnessing is the fulfillment of the last days’ prophesies of the Bible? The answer can be summed up in one word. ISRAEL!
>Hal Lindsey has referred to Israel as “God’s divine timepiece because we can tell where we are in history by what is happening with that tiny Jewish nation. So… back to the first paragraph of this article: for centuries we could not tell exactly where we were in history because, after AD 70, Israel was not there.
>May 14, 1948, was the day Israel was reborn as a nation. No other conquered nation has ever had such a thing happen after 2 millennia.
>This was the great sign the world needed to know where we are on God’s prophetic timeline.
>Israel is right where God planned for them to be at this moment in time. They are not abandoned. They are not an afterthought. They are not there by pure chance. They are not replaced, and they are not rejected. They are regathered, and God is using them to finish history and bring His precious and mighty Son to the throne of David to rule the entire world and fulfill all the remaining prophecies. God used them to bring the Messiah the first time, and He is using them to bring the Messiah again the second time. Israel’s glory is just ahead. But just like all of us, she must humble herself to the only Savior that God promised way back in Genesis 3:15. The storm is approaching fast. And Israel will soon fulfill all Her intended role.

Here are some reports that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near.
One, concerning the possibility of the Rapture occurring at the sound of the Great Blast (last trump) on a future Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 4:1-2): I have been asked when is the Feast of Trumpets in 2024?
We do not know that the Rapture will happen in 2024, but we do know that the Jews will blow the trumpet 100 times on Oct. 3-4, 2024, and the Great Blast (100th trump; last trump) will be on October 4 at 6:19 pm in Israel (10:19 am Central Time in the U.S.).
Two, concerning world government: in early Sept. 2024, it was reported that an undercover journalist secretly recorded a UN official (from the Office of Legal Affairs) expressing his opinion that UN officials are terrified at the prospect of Trump being elected again.
According to the article, the UN official said (my words for simplicity):
- UN officials desire to transform the UN into a world government.
- Trump opposes world government and wants to make America a sovereign nation again.
- Pulling the U.S. out of the UN would cause the UN to lose about one-fourth of its income, and that could lead to the collapse of the UN.
- Trump’s desire to close America’s borders is a threat to the borderless world.
- Trump has signaled that he will withdraw the U.S. from the World Health Organization (WHO) and possibly NATO (if nations do not pay their dues).
- The UN Office of Legal Affairs is preparing to bring Trump before a UN human rights Tribunal if he is elected and goes rogue.

Three, concerning world government: on Sept. 9, 2024, it was reported that the UN will meet on Sept. 22-23, 2024, to ask the nations to sign a Pact for the Future (UN 2.0) that says:
>We, the Heads of State and Government, representing the peoples of the world, have gathered at United Nations Headquarters to protect the needs and interests of present and future generations through the actions in this Pact for the Future,” the document begins.
>We recognize that the multilateral system and its institutions, with the United Nations and its Charter at the centre, must be strengthened to keep pace with a changing world.
>We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the UN, its charter, its purposes, its principles, and Agenda 2030. They vow to comply with the UN’s International Court of Justice and promise to reform the international financial architecture.
>We commend ongoing reform efforts and call for even more urgent and ambitious action to ensure that the international financial architecture becomes more efficient, more equitable, fit for the world of today and responsive to the challenges faced by developing countries in closing the SDG financing gap. The reform of the international financial architecture should place the 2030 Agenda at its centre, with an unwavering commitment to investing in the eradication of poverty in all its forms and dimensions.
>Member states will deepen United Nations’ engagement with national parliaments in United Nations intergovernmental bodies and processes in accordance with national legislation, including through building on the efforts of the United Nations and Inter-Parliamentary Union to engage parliamentarians to maintain support for the implementation of relevant UN agreements and resolutions.
As I understand this, they want to develop a new global financial system and to bind the nations into transforming the UN into a global government.
(FYI: As far as I know, the UN and globalist goal is still to establish a world government by 2030 or sooner if possible.)
Four, concerning world government: on Sept. 5, 2024, award-winning international journalist Alex Newman reported that 26 Republican governors sent a joint letter to Pres. Biden that says:
>The International Health Regulations and the International Pandemic Accord (or treaty) being negotiated by governments and the WHO grant unprecedented and unconstitutional powers over the United States and its people to the UN agency.
>These proposed changes could drastically change the role of governors in response to their charge as the state health officials.
>The objective of these instruments is to empower the WHO, particularly its uncontrollable Director-General, with the authority to restrict the rights of U.S. citizens, including freedoms such as speech, privacy, travel, choice of medical care, and informed consent, thus violating our Constitution’s core principles.
>As governors, we affirm that public health policy is a matter reserved for the states, not the federal government, and certainly not international bodies like the WHO.
>We are committed to resisting any attempts to transfer authority to the WHO over public policy affecting our citizens or any efforts by the WHO to assert such authority over them.
>Put simply, Republican Governors will not comply.
(My opinion: It would take an extremely dangerous threat to the U.S. to get more than half of the governors to send a letter to the President of the U.S. that says we will not comply.)
Five, concerning a worthless peace treaty in the Middle East that could mark the beginning of the Tribulation Period (I Thess. 5:3), dividing the Promised Land, and triggering the Battle of Armageddon (Joel 3:2): on Sept. 5, 2024, Kamala Harris’ vice-pres. pick, Tim Walz, said:
- We (the U.S.) can’t allow what’s happened in Gaza to happen.
- The Palestinian people have every right to life and liberty themselves.
- Israel’s government should be pushed to accept a Palestinian State.
- Getting a ceasefire with the return of the hostages and then moving toward a sustainable two-state solution is the only way forward.
The Bible says God made a covenant to give all the Promised Land to Israel forever (Gen. 17:7-8), and He promised to bless those that bless Israel and to curse those that curse Israel (Gen. 12:1-3).
(My opinion: The U.S. might be able to force a peace treaty on Israel, but the U.S. cannot force God to accept it.)
(More: On Sept. 8, 2024, the PA asked the UN Gen. Assembly to pass a resolution to expel the Jews from Judea and Samaria. On Sept. 9, 2024, Israel’s foreign min. said, “If the Palestinian Authority acts against Israel in complete contradiction to the commitments it undertook in the interim arrangements that were signed, Israel will act in the same way and stop all cooperation with the PA and bring about its dissolution.”)
Six, concerning corruption in the Democrat Party: during the 2016 and 2020 presidential election, Democrats accused Republicans of colluding with the Russians to sway the outcome.
During the 2020 presidential election, Democrats and many in the media called the Hunter Biden laptop story Russian disinformation, and they pressured social media to censor it (Zuckerberg has now admitted in writing that he was pressured).
Joe Biden and the FBI knew that the laptop story was true, but 51 intel experts signed a document that said the Russians made up the story.
Anyway, on Sept. 4, 2024, Biden administration officials indicted 2 Russian workers and seized their RT (Russia Today) network for reporting non-Western views (stories that Democrats want censored).
U.S. investigators accused them of favoring former Pres. Trump over his rival Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
The next day (Sept. 5, 2024), Russian Pres. Putin said he supports Harris.
Putin said Biden was his favorite because he was more predictable than Trump, but Biden dropped out of the race, so he now supports Harris.
Seven, concerning deceit, the possibility of illegals voting in the next election, and perhaps the government running out of money and having to shut down before the next election:
In July of this year, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a bill called the Save Act to require individuals to show proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in elections for federal office, and it pushed states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls.
The Democrat-controlled Senate refused to consider the bill; they have allowed millions of illegals into this country, and they are acting like the Save Act doesn’t exist.
The Biden administration is about to run out of money before the election, and they want Congress to approve a new short-term spending bill by the end of Sept.
Republicans are willing to approve a new short-term spending bill, but they want the Save Act attached so only U.S. citizens can vote in federal elections.
On Sept. 8, 2024, Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said he will not allow the Save Act to be attached to the short-term spending bill because preventing illegal aliens from voting in the federal election is “Republican extremism.”
If he would, he could allow a vote on the July Save Act that is not attached to the short-term spending bill, but he won’t.
If the Republicans insist on the Save Act being attached to the short-term spending bill, he is threatening to not allow the Senate to vote on it and to blame Republicans for a government shutdown.
(My opinion: America should not allow millions of illegal aliens to decide who is president of the U.S.)

Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 (Day 334) The two-hundred seventy-ninth day of the resumed war. Day 121 of the attack on Rafah.
- Hezbollah fired more than 100 rockets at northern Israel.
- Hamas rejected America’s ceasefire proposals and demanded that the U.S. force Israel to accept its terms.
- A Biden official said Hamas is threatening to murder more hostages.
- Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu said Israel needs to control the Philadelphi corridor, not just to prevent weapons smuggling into Gaza, but to keep Hamas from moving hostages out of Gaza and then to Iran. (He based this on documents Israeli troops found in a tunnel when they found the 6 murdered hostages.)
Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 (Day 335) The two-hundred-eightieth day of the resumed war. Day 122 of the attack on Rafah.
- Trump said that if Harris wins, terrorists will wage an unceasing war to drive Jews out of the holy land.
Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 (Day 336) The two-hundred eighty-first day of the resumed war. Day 123 of the attack on Rafah.
- Israel destroyed an explosives lab hidden under a mosque in the West Bank.
- Israel destroyed a Hamas command and control center located in an abandoned school. Operating from civilian structures is a violation of international law; Muslims systematically violate it, but the international community ignores their violations.
- An Israeli military official said Israel is preparing to operate deeper inside Lebanon.
Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 (Day 337) The two-hundred eighty-second day of the resumed war. Day 124 of the attack on Rafah.
- Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan called on the Islamic nations to form an alliance to stop Israel’s expansionism.
- About 500,000 people demonstrated in Tel Aviv to get Israel to agree to a ceasefire.
Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024 (Day 338) The two-hundred eighty-third day of the resumed war. Day 125 of the attack on Rafah.
- Hezbollah fired more than 50 rockets from Lebanon into Israel.
- A terrorist from Jordan killed 3 Israeli police at the border crossing between Jordan and Israel.
- Israel struck an Iranian research site in Syria, killed at least 14, and wounded 46 others.
- S. and UK officials warned that ties between Russia and Iran are deepening.
- Israel said the chance of a hostage deal with Hamas is close to zero.
Monday, Sept. 9, 2024 (Day 339) The two-hundred eighty-fourth day of the resumed war. Day 126 of the attack on Rafah.
- Based on forensic evidence, Israel said the 4 murdered male hostages that they found in a tunnel (they found 4 males and 2 females) fought with their captors before all 6 were killed.
- S. and Israeli military officials met to discuss cooperation on ways to deal with threats posed by Iran and Hezbollah.
Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 (Day 340) The two-hundred eighty-fifth day of the resumed war. Day 127 of the attack on Rafah.
- Israel killed 3 senior Hamas leaders hiding in a command center in a Gaza humanitarian zone, and the international and PA media are outraged.
- Israel found 2 Hamas terrorists hiding in a UN convoy that was delivering humanitarian aid.
- Israel offered safe passage to Yahya Sinwar and his family in exchange for the release of all the hostages.
- Israel said Hamas no longer exists as a military formation, and it is now fighting a guerilla war against Israel.
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
