The Insidious Plot

 As readers of this space know, I have long believed that the Two State Solution is the trigger for the great end-times siege against Israel and Jerusalem. Something must be the trigger for such a completely outlandish scenario: an international coalition army invades Israel and arrives at the gates of Jerusalem. This is not some 8th century Assyrian mob, or Rome’s 10th Legion. No, this is a full-throated global attack on God’s People.

Thankfully, we still have the wisdom of the late great Dave Hunt. Today I saw this Facebook post from his page:

“Israel is the major topic of the Bible, occupying most of its pages. The many prophecies concerning its past, present, and future are vital in understanding God’s Word. Sadly, they are ignored, explained away, or simply rejected by the vast majority of professing Christians, a growing number of whom insist that Israel has been replaced by the church.”

It’s partly because of that terrible, terrible job the Church overall has done teaching God’s Word in the last two centuries that Israel is in peril, from a human perspective. Right now fighting a seven-front war, and what is being pushed?

A Palestinian state.

It’s madness.

Massad Boulos, President-elect Donald Trump’s newly appointed advisor on Middle Eastern and Arab affairs, advocates for a roadmap toward Palestinian statehood as a prerequisite for normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

He emphasizes that while immediate statehood isn’t demanded, a clear vision and plan are essential.

Yes, I can. From the moment I heard that Trump was appointing his son-in-law’s father as an advisor on the Middle East, I knew it was trouble.

And it’s obvious trouble. Like the kind you see your child about to get into so you warn him.

Sometimes us humans are just dumb. We do the obvious dumb things. Satan’s Two-State Solution plan, so clearly a lethal threat to Israel, is embraced by the “smart kids” in the room, those diplomats and politicians and media types (think the insufferable—and always wrong about the Middle East—Thomas Friedman, who rants and rails against Israel for not committing suicide).

It has also been embraced by too many religious types. The religious smart kids, the ones that covet approval and party invitations from those same ghouls in Washington and London and Paris. The ones that hate Israel every bit as much as the jihadists do and fight day and night to eradicate Israel.

This has always lingered in the background of a potential peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have been trying this for at least 20 years.

Boulos, born in Lebanon, has acted as a go-between for Trump and Mahmoud Abbas, that old devil that’s gotten rich as the lifetime president of the Palestinian Authority.

According to the Jerusalem Post:

“WASHINGTON — Massad Boulos, President-elect Donald Trump’s advisor on Middle Eastern and Arab affairs, said that the United States would have to discuss laying out a ‘roadmap’ to Palestinian statehood if it hopes to establish relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

“Saudi officials have long made it known that they would not establish ties with Israel absent progress toward a Palestinian state. But for Boulos — a Lebanese-American billionaire and the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany — to emphasize the point is significant because other Trump appointees, in addition to Trump himself, are seen as close to the Israeli right, which rejects Palestinian statehood.

“’I think the issue of a roadmap that would lead to a Palestinian state is an important part of the discussions between the United States and Saudi Arabia,’ Boulos said in a wide-ranging interview last week with Le Point, a French magazine. ‘It is certainly a very important point.’”

Is it? Why is it an important point?

It’s important for those that want to destroy Israel. A much-shrunken Jewish state, already tiny, would be hard-pressed to survive a 23rd Arab state on its doorstep.

At a time when Trump’s second term is a huge Christmas present for Americans, those of us that love Israel and see her in Bible prophecy lament the mistake made by throwing-in with the likes of Massad Boulos.

It’s an Insidious Plot.

‘THE POPE CAN’T REWRITE THE BIBLE,’ SAYS EVANGELICAL LEADER. Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations, criticized the Vatican Nativity scene that portrays Jesus as a Palestinian, accusing the Vatican of historical and religious revisionism.  The nativity scene featured baby Jesus lying on a Palestinian keffiyeh.

LETTER TO POPE FRANCIS AND CATHOLIC CLERGY: JESUS WAS NOT PALESTINIAN. The keffiyeh has become a symbol of “the Axis of Resistance” and is worn by Pro Hamas protestors around the world when they threaten Jews and chant for Israel’s destruction. Keffiyehs were worn by Hamas when they commenced their massacre and during all their terror attacks against civilians. Iran’s Ayatollah wears a keffiyeh (which is not traditional Iranian garb) when he speaks of wiping Israel off the map and denies the Holocaust.  It’s become a symbol of anti-Zionist Jew-hatred.

And About the name “Palestine”: The name Palestine was only coined 135 years after Jesus’ death by the Romans, after they murdered and ethnically cleansed Jews from biblical lands. The name Palestine was only reinstated administratively during the British Mandate following World War 1.

RUSSIA LAUNCHES MASSIVE ATTACK ON UKRAINIAN “CRITICAL FUEL & ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE.” Russia launched a massive drone and missile strike against Ukraine on Friday in retaliation for Ukraine’s recent use of the US-supplied Missile System against a Russian military base. This was one of the largest bombardments against Ukraine’s energy sector since the invasion began almost three years ago.

ISRAELI AIR FORCE DECLARES TOTAL AIR SUPERIORITY OVER SYRIA. The near-total elimination of Syrian air defenses has enabled the IAF to operate freely over Syrian airspace, including directly above Damascus. After years of navigating Syria’s dense air defense network during its efforts to counter Iranian weapons shipments to Hezbollah, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) has announced it has achieved complete dominance in the region’s skies.

SYRIAN REBELS IN DAMASCUS VOW THEY’RE ‘COMING FOR JERUSALEM.’ ‘PATIENCE, PEOPLE OF GAZA.’ They vow to march on Jerusalem a day after taking over the capital, Damascus. “This is the land of Islam, this is Damascus, the Muslim stronghold. From here to Jerusalem. We’re coming for Jerusalem. Patience, people of Gaza, patience,” vows an Islamist rebel spokesman surrounded by gunmen who respond with “Allahu akbar! (“Allah is greater” in Arabic).

In the Golan Heights (mountains of Israel): IDF TAKES OVER SYRIAN HERMON, STRIKES SYRIAN CHEMICAL WEAPONS FACTORY. The IDF, on Dec.8, took over the Syrian side of the Mount Hermon mountain range to expand a demilitarized buffer zone along the border with Syria and also at several other points of significance for defense. The Hermon range has always been thought of as providing a strategic advantage because it provides high ground for the entire area, enabling Israel to anticipate any potential invading force further in advance.

DEFENSE MINISTER ORDERS ISRAELI TROOPS TO PREPARE TO SPEND WINTER ON MOUNT HERMON. “Due to what is happening in Syria — there is enormous security importance to our holding on to the peak of Mount Hermon,” a statement from Katz’s office said on Friday. The order suggests that Israeli troops who moved into a buffer zone inside Syrian territory, as well as a “few additional points” following the collapse of President Bashar al-Assad’s government, are likely to remain.

IDF SEES CHANCE FOR STRIKES ON IRAN NUKE SITES AFTER KNOCKING OUT SYRIA AIR DEFENSES. Israel Defense Forces believes that following the weakening of Iranian proxy groups in the Middle East and the dramatic fall of Assad’s regime in Syria, there’s an opportunity to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Israeli Air Force has, therefore, continued to increase its readiness and preparations for such potential strikes in Iran. The IDF also believes that Iran – isolated after the fall of the Assad regime and weakening of its main proxy group, Hezbollah, in Lebanon – may push ahead further with its nuclear program and develop a bomb as it scrambles to replace its deterrence. “Iran now has enough fissile material to make more than a dozen nuclear weapons,” should it decide to do so.

TRUMP CONSIDERING DIRECT ATTACKS AGAINST IRANIAN NUCLEAR SITES. The policy of previous administrations has been the use of diplomacy and economic sanctions to force the IRGC to reduce its nuclear intentions. According to the report, Iran has enough enriched uranium to build four nuclear weapons within a few days. The Trump administration is considering several options, the first being a direct buildup of American forces in the Middle East. The USA would send additional troops, planes, and ships to the region, and possibly even begin to execute its own attacks against Iranian nuclear sites.

Regarding a So-Called Two-State “Solution”

TRUMP SAYS MIDDLE EAST PEACE ‘CAN TAKE DIFFERENT FORMS’ THAN A PALESTINIAN STATE. “I support whatever solution we can do to get peace. There are other ideas other than two-state, but I support whatever is necessary to get not just peace, [but] a lasting peace. It can’t go on where every five years you end up in tragedy. There are other alternatives,” he says.

MACRON: FRANCE & SAUDI ARABIA TO CO-CHAIR A CONFERENCE ON CREATING A PALESTINIAN STATE. Emmanuel Macron said, “In the coming months, together we will multiply and combine our diplomatic initiatives to bring everyone along this path.” Responding to a question on whether France would recognize a Palestinian state, the French president said he’d do so “at the right moment” and at a time “when it triggers reciprocal movements of recognition.” “We want to involve several other partners and allies, both European and non-European, who are ready to move in this direction but who are waiting for France,” he added. Macron explained there was a simultaneous aim to “trigger a movement of recognition in favor of Israel,” which he said could “provide answers in terms of security for Israel and convince people that the two-state solution is a solution that is relevant for Israel.”
