Israel carried out a broad round of airstrikes in Gaza on Wednesday in response to security threats against IDF soldiers and violations of the ceasefire. Hamas terrorists breached the Yellow Line — the zone defined as Israeli-controlled under the truce — and opened fire.

Security Council approves Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan, and Trump is named chairman of the Board of Peace, a major victory for administration diplomacy as it struggles to implement its blueprint for what Trump has said would be “a new dawn” for the Middle East. Number 19 of the 20-point outline says, “While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.” (Netanyahu insists there will be no Palestinian state.)

France to help ‘Palestinians’ draft constitution for future state, President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday after talks with ‘Palestinian’ President Mahmoud Abbas. A number of major Western nations, including France, formally recognized a ‘Palestinian’ state in September, a move driven by frustration with Israel over the war in Gaza and a wish to promote a two-state solution to the Middle East conflict.

PM Netanyahu: Opposition to Palestinian state west of Jordan River remains unchanged. “I have been rebuffing these attempts for decades, and I am doing it both against pressures from outside and against pressures from within. So, I do not need affirmations, tweets, or lectures from anyone,” he said.
