Why Do the Nations Rage? :: By Jim Towers

I am watching this war as it pertains to scripture – and you should too. Last night I read this in the Bible: “I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath upon them – all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger” (Zephaniah 3:8).

Read the following words carefully:

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

“Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him” (Psalm 2).

Now I know that many of you “theologues” will say that these words have been misappropriated by me, and really say something that is true only to Israel. However, skeptics should note that it can be applied to us at the present time as well. It speaks of Nations and Kingdoms – meaning just that – the kingdoms of the Middle East and the Nations of the West. Even Generals of our armies are alluding to this war as the war of Armageddon. Others prefer to call it World War Three. They say that Bible study and a closeness to God will inevitably lead to this conclusion.

We all know that vast knowledge handled improperly by religious leaders can make that person vain. God had the Bible written so that even a child can understand. Nitpicking gains us nothing.

Suffice it to say, with nations and kingdoms forming coalitions to wage war – this war could turn out to be the big one. The one world monetary system is around the corner; the Euphrates River has dried up enough so that a two-million-man army can come from China all the way to Syria across from Israel. China and Russia are allies of Iran – who just ordered a fatwa against us and Israel (big Satan and little Satan to them.) But alas, they are preoccupied with their own problems right now and may have to wait for a spell to interject themselves into war. With that being said, the timeline is only three years in the making – one way or another.

Most people don’t know that Islam is a totalitarian conquest ideology intent on imposing Sharia law worldwide, including in the US, through stealthy civilization jihad, demographic infiltration, and explicit declarations of dominance by Muslim leaders and organizations like Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, posing an existential threat to Western civilization and US freedoms that must be confronted urgently.

The number of Christians in Iran varies depending on the source and methodology. According to the 2016 Iranian census, there were 117,700 Christians, primarily from ethnic Armenian and Assyrian communities, while other reports suggest the figure could be over 500,000, including converts from Islam. Religious organizations such as Article 18 estimated that by 2025, the Christian population may have reached around 800,000, reflecting growth among evangelical and Protestant converts despite persecution. Some sources even suggested the number could exceed one million, though exact figures are difficult to verify due to the secrecy surrounding house churches.

Presently, Russia is threatening to enter into war with the USA and Israel, and I expect we’ll hear from Turkey soon too – after all, they and China profess to be allied with Iran. They are right now planning on how to respond to the attacks on Iran. Turkey is holding their cards close to the chest but may soon intervene.

Kremlin TV host and spokesperson Vladimir Solovyov predicted the conflicts in Ukraine and Iran would converge as World War Three erupts. “There are no more laws: international diplomacy has been destroyed [with the US-Israeli strikes on Iran],” he stated, cautioning that World War Three is unavoidable. He says the present war cannot help but merge and coalesce into one larger conflict. We must prepare for this. To this end, we must destroy Ukraine’s military and political leadership and strike at the decision-making centers in Ukraine….”

So, with all the ‘players” in place, this could be a “big and prolonged war.” In which case, there are certain things you can and should do – just in case. Stock up on canned food and top up your gas tank – but first make sure you repent, receive Christ as Lord and Savior, and are in constant contact with the God of the Bible. We believers might just be raptured sooner than we think.

Rapture Jacks :: By Tom Clark

When I was a little kid, I used to watch my two older sisters play a game called Jacks. Sometimes they would deign to let baby brother play with them, and thus I learned this simple game from them. They would draw a circle (usually with chalk) on the ground and dump out a bag of jacks and one small red rubber ball. That was all the equipment needed to play. You’d draw about a 10-inch circle with the chalk, then grab all the jacks in one hand and drop them into the circle. You’d then throw the red ball down, and as it bounced up into the air you would snatch away as many jacks as you could, and with the same hand, catch the ball in midair. The winner was the one who would catch up the greatest number of jacks in one try.

It was many years later that I became a believer in the Lord, and early in my walk with him, I first heard about something called the Rapture. It was the most amazing thing to hear! After reading 1st Thessalonians 4:12-18, my mind took me back to the childhood memories of playing the Jacks game, and made the following analogy.

I saw God’s hand holding all the jacks reaching down from Heaven and sowing the jacks who are all the people who have ever lived across the surface of the circle. As the jacks fall through the air, they also fly through time & space. The ones landing first tend to bounce out to the edges of the circle, and the most recent ones cluster in the center. Then the ball drops out of the sky & lands in the circle, but only for a brief moment before it ascends up into the air.

The first appearance of the ball is Jesus coming to Earth to dispense the Gospel of the Good News to all the jacks, but he’s there only for a short time. He tells the jacks who have come to believe in him that he will soon return for them & that they are to look up and make themselves ready for his glorious reappearing at any time.

That day soon comes, and in an instant as the red ball hurtles down to the earth, the powerful hand of Almighty God reaches down to the circle of jacks and snatches the chosen ones away. The oldest ones first at the edge, and then the most recent ones in the center. All at once, they are caught up together to be with the red ball in the air, safely held in God the Father’s protective hand forever more.

Paul tells in 1st Thess 4:16 & 17 “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

Raptured jacks!
