A Great Day Is Coming :: By Daymond Duck

We are living in amazing times.

A great day is coming, and it looks like we can see it approaching.

Jesus talked about it.

He said there hasn’t been anything like it since the beginning of the world, no, nor ever shall be (Matt. 24:21).

The prophet Jeremiah talked about it.

He said, “Alas! For the day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble: but he shall be saved out of it” (Jer. 30:7).

The prophet Zephaniah saw it.

He said, “The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm” (Zeph. 1:14-16a).

Yes, it is coming fast, and Christians are blessed to see it.

Does that sound strange?

How can Christians be blessed to see this terrible day approaching?

Jesus was talking about the signs of His coming when He said, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads: for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28).

This terrible day is the Tribulation Period, and it will be worse than anything the lost have ever seen.

Christians grieve for those who will be here, but many Christians feel blessed because the closer we get to it,

  • The closer we are to the Rapture and our redemption.
  • The closer we are to our new bodies that won’t get sick or die.
  • The closer we are to seeing our deceased Christian loved ones again.
  • The closer we are to the Millennial reign of Jesus with peace, justice, and righteousness on earth, etc.

For whatever it is worth, there are a few excellent prophecy teachers who believe God will deal with humankind for six God-days (six 1,000-year days; one day with the Lord is as 1,000 years to us and 1,000 years as one day), and the seventh God-day will be the Millennium.

They base this partly on the fact:

  • That God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and He rested on the seventh.
  • That God told the Jews to plant and harvest crops for six years and let the land rest in the seventh year, etc.

If this theory is right, history is approaching the seventh God-day, and the day of redemption is near.

Here are some recent current events that seem to indicate that our redemption is drawing near.

One, concerning the fact that no weapon that is formed against Israel at the end of the age will succeed: on July 24, 2025, it was reported that:

  • Israeli defense systems in general, and the Arrow system in particular, demonstrated exceptional capabilities during the 12-Day War with Iran.
  • The numerous interceptions saved many lives and significantly reduced economic damage.

So, Israel has signed a large-scale contract to significantly accelerate the serial production of Arrow interceptors.

And, in addition to mass producing them, Israel intends to constantly upgrade them to make them even more efficient.

(More: On July 28, 2025, it was reported that Iran launched more than 500 long-range missiles at Israel during the 12-Day War. The U.S. launched 100-150 interceptors, and that was about one-fourth of what we have. Experts say we need to boost our stockpiles. America’s defense of Israel may come back as a defensive blessing for America.)

Two, concerning the fact that no weapon that is formed against Israel at the end of the age will succeed: Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei recently attributed Israel’s military successes in the 12-Day War to the work of demons.

This seems to be a common Muslim tactic or excuse.

Muslims have attributed some of Israel’s previous victories to the help of the UK, France, or the U.S.

They seem unable to admit that Allah is failing them or that Israel’s God is God.

Anyway, on July 23, 2025, it was reported that an Israeli rabbi has responded to the Ayatollah’s excuse.

Here is part of what the Israeli rabbi told Khamenei:

  • That is simply a mistake.
  • We do not use demons.
  • There is wisdom that deals with demons, but we do not use them.
  • Why? Because we have holy angels that help us in these wars.
  • How did we win alone in the Six Day War of 1967 against Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and all the countries that supported them?
  • How did we prevail in 1948, practically without weapons, against ten nations?
  • We are not angels.
  • G-d sends angels to us because He promises and fulfills.
  • Anyone who goes against G-d has no chance in this world.
  • It is a danger to oppose us because G-d promised the Land to us.
  • If you want to save your lives, go with G-d.
  • Follow what He wrote in the Torah, and even in the words of your prophet Muhammad.

This explains Israel’s incredible victories.

The Scriptures reveal that God said Israel would come back into being at the end of the age, that Israel cannot be destroyed again, and that Israel will ultimately get all the land God promised to Abraham and his descendants after him.

God’s Word (the Bible) is true, God is holy, God cannot lie, God is faithful, and everyone would be wise to learn, believe, and go by the Scriptures.

(BTW: Israel is blinded now because they did not recognize their Messiah when He made His Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, so Israel’s protection is a matter of God’s faithfulness, not Israel’s faithfulness. Nevertheless, all Israel will accept Jesus and be saved just prior to His Second Coming.)

The more I thought about what the Ayatollah and the Israeli rabbi said, the more interesting it got.

The Bible clearly teaches that there is a very powerful world of angels and demons.

  • The angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel, and to Joseph and Mary.
  • Angels appeared to shepherds when Jesus was born.
  • Michael and his angels will cast Satan and his angels (demons) out of heaven during the Tribulation Period.
  • Jesus cast demons out of a demoniac, and they entered a herd of pigs that ran over a cliff.
  • Evil spirits that dwell in Satan, the Antichrist, and False Prophet will work miracles and drag the nations into the Battle of Armageddon.
  • Great disasters will happen on earth when seven angels blow seven trumpets, and later when seven angels dump seven vials of God’s wrath on earth during the Tribulation Period.
  • Christians wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So, I ask, is it possible that the 12-Day War between Iran and Israel was somehow impacted by angels and demons?

I think so.

Daniel chapter 10 records one of Daniel’s last visions.

Daniel had been fasting and praying for three weeks when an angel touched him.

The angel told Daniel that God heard his prayers the first day he started praying, but the prince of the kingdom of Persia (a demon or evil spirit that rules over Iran) had prevented him (God’s angel) from getting to Daniel with the answer to his prayers.

But Michael, one of God’s most powerful angels, helped God’s good angel get through with the answer (which incidentally concerned the meaning of visions that Daniel had about Israel in the latter days).

So, as I see it, the 12-Day War between Iran and Israel may have been impacted by demons in Iran, and the outcome may have been influenced by angels that are guarding Israel.

(My opinion: None of us understand the full impact that spiritual forces have upon this earth, or how much evil the Restrainer is holding back. But I believe the Restrainer will soon be removed, and things will turn catastrophic fast. Today is the day to make our salvation sure.)

(More: According to the Bible, God will cause the Battle of Gog and Magog, and He – not Israel – will destroy the militaries of Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others. God will act alone so that people will know that Israel’s God is God.)

Three, on July 25, 2025, it was reported:

  • That one of Iran’s top Ayatollahs has offered more than one million dollars to anyone who brings him Pres. Trump’s head.
  • That Iranian government supporters have raised forty million dollars in a crowdfunding campaign to murder Pres. Trump.

(Questions: Could a religious leader who publicly announces that he wants to pay someone to decapitate the president of the U.S. be controlled by Satan or demons? If radical Islam gains control of the world, will non-Muslims be safe?)

(More: On July 26, 2025, RAIR reported that a Muslim preacher in Germany posted a video on the Internet telling Germans to accept Islam or leave the country. According to the article, the message is clear: this is not about peaceful coexistence; it’s about ideological conquest.)

(More: On July 27, 2025, Israel’s Defense Min. warned the Ayatollah Khamenei that if he continues to threaten Israel, Israel will attack Iran again and go after him.)

Four, concerning the expansion of Israel’s borders at the end of the age: on July 23, 2025, Israel’s Knesset passed a non-binding resolution that calls for the Israeli government to declare sovereignty over Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.

This is the first time in the history of modern Israel that the Knesset has passed such a resolution, and it is not clear what the Netanyahu government will do.

(More: On July 24, 2025, the Israeli government authorized the spending of $138 million to improve road safety in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.)

(FYI: I don’t know the full implications of Israel annexing Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley, but it could possibly impact sovereignty over the Temple Mount, and that might open the door for rebuilding the Temple. This could be big.)

(More: On July 29, 2025, it was reported that Israel will begin annexing parts of the Gaza Strip if Hamas keeps rejecting a ceasefire agreement.)

Five, concerning the Two-State Solution (dividing Israel and God’s threat to drag the nations into the Battle of Armageddon for doing that; Joel 3:1-2): on July 24, 2025, French Pres. Emmanuel Macron said he will recognize the existence of a Palestinian State before the UN General Assembly meeting on Sept. 22-23, 2025.

(Note: As I understand it, Macron will participate in a meeting on July 28, 2025, to line up support for creating a Palestinian State, but he will make his official recognition of a Palestinian State on Sept. 22-23; Rosh Hashanah; the Feast of Trumpets.)

Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu said:

  • “A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a launch pad to annihilate Israel—not to live in peace beside it.
  • Let’s be clear: the Palestinians do not seek a state alongside Israel.
  • They seek a state instead of Israel.”

Israel’s Defense Min. Katz said:

  • Instead of standing with Israel at this challenging time, the French president is acting to weaken it.
  • We will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian entity that would harm our security, endanger our existence, and undermine our historical right to the Land of Israel.
  • We are all united to prevent this grave danger.

(More: On July 24, 2025, Canada’s Prime Min. Carney said he supports a two-state solution, which guarantees peace and security – peace and safety – for Israelis and Palestinians. As of now, the U.S. and Israel are not planning to attend.)

(More: On July 26, 2025, it was reported that Israel has captured documents in Gaza that contain the minutes of secret meetings between French Intelligence officials and Hamas officials that have been going on in Qatar since 2020. According to the report, France is very critical of the way the U.S. is handling the war. A French diplomat quickly denied the legitimacy of the documents.)

(My opinion: Forcing the Two-State Solution on Israel won’t bring peace and safety to Germany, where German citizens have been told to accept Islam or leave their country.)

(Question: Where can German citizens go since radical Islam is determined to conquer the whole world? It is easy to see the great day of trouble and distress shaping up.)

(My opinion: God will have the final word.

Six, concerning peace and safety, on July 26, 2025, UK Prime Min. Starmer said:

  • He backs the recognition of a Palestinian state, but such recognition must be part of a wider plan which ultimately results in a two-state solution and lasting security (safety) for Palestinians and Israelis.
  • We must build the State of Palestine and ensure that, through its demilitarization and recognition by Israel, it contributes to the security (safety) of everyone in the Middle East.

Then, on July 29, 2025, Starmer said:

  • He intends to recognize a Palestinian state in Sept. before the U.N. General Assembly, “unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza” and agrees to a ceasefire and to “commit to a long-term sustainable peace, reviving the prospect of a two-state solution.”
  • “This includes allowing the United Nations to restart the supply of aid and making clear that there will be no annexations in the West Bank,” Starmer said during the briefing at 10 Downing Street.

Seven, concerning the Israel-Hamas war: ceasefire negotiations appear to be deadlocked at this time.

Concerning the deadlock: on July 25, 2025, Pres. Trump said, “It was too bad—Hamas didn’t really want to make a deal. I think they want to die.”

Eight, in a report published by the British Daily Mail on July 26, 2025, a former female hostage who was held 471 days by Hamas said the worst thing was being kept in a cage with as many as six hostages at a time for four months.

She said the cage was about 6 ½ feet by 6 ½ feet, it was underground, there were cockroaches everywhere, the silence was murder, and the atmosphere was very hot and humid.

She lost several fingers, had a bullet in her leg, and was allowed to go to the bathroom only once or twice a day.

She said she believes other hostages are still being held in cages and being abused.

(My opinion: It is hard for me to imagine the mentality of those who defend what Hamas has done and is still doing.)

Nine, concerning the distribution of aid to the citizens of Gaza: on July 27, 2025, it was reported that an Arab analyst, Hussain Abdul-Hussain, wrote:

  • There is plenty of aid, but Hamas obstructs its distribution by terrorizing Gazans.
  • In areas where Hamas has lost control, Gaza residents are in a better situation than in areas where Hamas still rules in the shadows.
  • If Hamas disappears, Gaza residents will receive everything they need in the blink of an eye.

Why is Hamas doing this?

They want control of the food and medicine so they can force the Gazans to support them.

(More: On July 25, 2025, a Christian pastor, author, and editor in Israel wrote, most of the aid never reaches the population in Gaza; as soon as it crosses into Gaza, it is commandeered by squads of armed Hamas operatives and redirected to Hamas’ storerooms, all of which now overflow. Hamas then first provides for its own and for those who actively and openly support the terrorist organization, and then sells the rest in dribbles to keep prices high.)

(Question: How can world leaders support terrorists that use food and medicine to force people to support them? It sounds a lot like what the Antichrist will do, and it is okay with many world leaders.)

Ten, concerning lawlessness at the end of the age: on July 21, 2025, UK Reform leader Nigel Farage said:

  • We live increasingly in a lawless Britain… most people think that Britain has become lawless.
  • People are scared to go out to the shops, scared to let their kids out.
  • That is a society that is degraded, and it’s happening very, very rapidly.

Eleven, concerning natural disasters increasing in frequency and intensity at the end of the age: on July 25-26, 2025, Hebei Province in China received 20.94 inches of rain in eight hours (5.71 inches per hour at its peak intensity).

At least two people died, two are missing, and 46,000 were impacted.

(More: On July 25, 2025, some parts of metropolitan Chicago, Il., received more than 6 inches of rain in less than two hours, and on July 26, 2025, some parts of Lincoln County, MO received 10 inches of rain in one night.)

(More: On July 27, 2025, the temperature in Tampa, Florida, reached 100 for the first time in recorded history.)

(More: On July 29, 2025, an 8.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Russia.)

Twelve, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on July 24, 2025, it was reported that the Houthis in Yemen are training elite operatives for an invasion of Israel.

Thirteen, concerning Israel’s war with Hamas: on July 27, 2025, Israel reported that it had killed about 400 terrorists and destroyed a 500-meter-long tunnel in recent days.

Fourteen, concerning deceit at the end of the age: a photo that went viral of a child from Gaza supposedly starved to death by Israel has turned out to be fake news (Hamas propaganda).

Several world leaders swallowed the propaganda hook, line, and sinker, and now that it has turned out to be fake news, they are amazingly silent.

Fifteen, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on July 28, 2025, Pres. Trump expressed frustration with Vladimir Putin’s efforts to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine.

Trump gave Putin just 10-12 days to agree to a ceasefire or face very strong, crippling sanctions.

(My opinion: Trump’s impositions of more sanctions could damage Russia’s economy and increase Putin’s desire for Israel’s silver and gold, cattle and goods.)

Sixteen, concerning the Mark of the Beast, HHS Sec. Robert Kennedy, Jr., recently said in testimony before a Congressional Committee, “My vision is that every American is wearing a wearable within four years.”

Wearables are trackers and monitors (usually worn on the wrist) that measure movement, heart rate, blood sugar, sleep apnea, etc.

Requiring every American to wear these good things within four years is causing alarm bells to go off in the minds of prophecy teachers.

(My opinion: I believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, and I believe it will be a minimum of 3 ½ years – perhaps more – before the Mark of the Beast is implemented.)

Seventeen, concerning the Mark of the Beast: on July 29, 2025, Leo Hohmann reported that:

  • The FBI has awarded a $128 million one-year contract to a company called Leidos to modernize the agency’s sprawling biometric and criminal history database.
  • According to Biometric Update, it is the most expansive biometric identity system in the world, encompassing multimodal data inputs including facial recognition, palm prints, iris scans, voice data, scars and tattoos, and, increasingly, behavioral biometrics.
  • This is more of the beast system developing at warp speed before our very eyes.
  • Putting this type of tech in the hands of a notoriously corrupt and, in my opinion, unconstitutional agency, is unconscionable.

Eighteen, on July 29, 2025, in the interest of peace in the Middle East, the EU, the Arab League, and 17 nations (sounds almost like a covenant with many) signed a joint declaration calling for Hamas to disarm, surrender its weapons to the Palestinian Authority under international supervision, and to end its control over the Gaza Strip.

The document was signed by France, Canada, the UK, and others.

France’s Foreign Min. called it “historic and unprecedented.”

He added that it paves the way for normalization agreements between Israel and other nations.

(My opinion: We are living in amazing times, and many experts in Bible Prophecy believe we are seeing a great day approaching. Many believe it is time to lift your head and look up.)

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Tell Your Story :: By Nathele Graham

Quite often, people have a hard time talking about important things. We can discuss the weather, or talk about the latest blockbuster movie, but are those things really important? Married couples sometimes have trouble discussing finances, and children are often afraid to speak to a parent about some trouble they have. Is it the fear of being ridiculed or laughed at that stops us? It’s the same when it comes to talking to someone about why you are a Christian.

Are you afraid of losing a friend if you share your testimony? Do you think that you’ll be laughed at if you speak of Jesus as something more than a cuss word? Maybe you might think that your faults will hinder your testimony. We all have failures in life, but if you’re like me, you’re trying to turn away from the sin that hinders you. I’ve heard many testimonies in my life, and I can tell you right now that no Christian is perfect. We all have a story of how we came to full faith in Jesus.

I don’t think I have an exciting testimony. I was raised having no doubts about Jesus. When I was a child, I didn’t have deep answers to questions anybody might ask, but I had a solid foundation. At a very young age, I had a desire to please Jesus. Was I a perfect child? No, I wasn’t. Was I a perfect teenager? No, I wasn’t. Am I a perfect adult? No, I’m not. Still, my testimony can help encourage others.

There were many times that I wondered if I really was saved because I didn’t have an amazing testimony, but then I read the testimony of a well-known pastor, and his testimony was much like mine. What he said opened my eyes to the fact that we don’t have to go through drug addiction, alcoholism, gang membership, or Eastern Mysticism to have a testimony that can strengthen others. Tell your story and give God the glory!

As we study Scripture, we can see that only Jesus was perfect. When He chose the twelve men to be His closest disciples, we can see that He chose men who had imperfections. They also had strong characters and learned enough in only three years to spread the Gospel and establish the Christian faith. First, let’s take a look at Peter.

Who would have ever thought that he would be a pillar of faith? He spoke before thinking and leaped before looking. He said things that everybody was thinking but weren’t bold enough to say out loud. It was Peter who saw Jesus walking on water and wanted to walk with Him. The others saw Jesus and were amazed, but kept their silence.

Peter said, “And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water” (Matthew 14:28).

Jesus told Peter to come, and Peter actually walked on water. He had faith that he could walk to Jesus until he noticed the storm. That’s when he failed.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me” (Matthew 14:30).

Instead of keeping his focus on Jesus, he saw the storm. How often do we trust Jesus until we see the storms around us? This testimony can help us to turn to Jesus during the storms in our own lives. Peter called out to Jesus, who saved him. We can chuckle at Peter’s failure, but Peter did step out in faith. He learned from his mistakes, and so must we learn from our own mistakes. It was Peter who first boldly proclaimed that Jesus was the Christ. When Jesus asked who people said He was, it was a general question. But then He got personal.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ” (Mark 8:29).

It might have been easy for Peter to make that declaration because he was among like-minded friends and didn’t fear the consequences. If he had been standing in the middle of a group of Pharisees, would he have been so bold? Maybe that’s a good reason for us to have fellowship with like-minded believers rather than surround ourselves with non-believers.

At the final meal they all shared together, Peter swore that he would defend Jesus with his life, but Jesus knew better. “And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice” (Mark 14:30).

And it was true. Many of us are like Peter. We have great intentions, but soon hide our faith. “Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus” (John 18:10).

Peter did boldly defend Jesus, but after that, he hid in fear and denied knowing Jesus. We all have fears in our walk with the Lord, but Jesus is always ready to call us back to Him.

There is no sin too great that Jesus won’t forgive. Peter never lost his status as a disciple, but he did lose his fellowship with our Lord. It wasn’t until after the resurrection that he listened to Jesus with all his heart when Jesus told him to feed the flock. Peter’s life was changed. His bold talk was now directed to bold truth rather than boasting. On the day of Pentecost, after being filled with the Holy Spirit, he was able to clearly speak the words of God, and many came to salvation. His life became a testimony not filled with fear, and his boldness had a purpose. Peter still had moments of failure, but because we know his testimony, we are strengthened in our own faith.

Do you ever doubt? Most Christians have gone through periods of questioning. That’s not a bad thing as long as you’re truly seeking truth, and not some “feel good” answer that says your sin is acceptable. Thomas was a disciple who had doubts and asked questions. When Jesus told the disciples that He was going away, He told them, “And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know” (John 14:4).

He expected them to understand, but they didn’t. It was Thomas who asked questions. “Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?” (John 14:5).

Jesus gave him an answer that we must remember. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

If you have doubts as to whether all faiths go to heaven, or get sidetracked by some false teaching, remember these words. Only faith in Jesus will bring salvation.

Soon, Jesus was crucified. Thomas knew He was dead and buried. Like the others, he feared for his life. The disciples were gathered together in a locked room, but Thomas had not been with them. Three days had passed since Jesus was crucified. Peter and John had found the tomb empty, and that caused quite a stir. That night they had a lot to talk about, and fear ran high. Suddenly, Jesus entered the room. Can you imagine the emotions? Joy, astonishment, fear all at once. Jesus showed them the marks of His crucifixion, then breathed on them. He gave them the Holy Spirit, the promised Comforter. What a testimony these men had. When Thomas heard what they had experienced, he had doubts. You see, even close friends can question your testimony.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe” (John 20:25).

Never think that Jesus doesn’t hear us when we speak. Eight days later, Jesus appeared to them again, and Thomas was there. “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing” (John 20:27).

Now all of the disciples knew that Jesus Christ was risen from the dead and that He is Lord! Thomas had no more doubts. “And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:28-29).

These men all had a testimony, and they shared it. They changed the world.

What about Judas? He had the same opportunities as the others, but used his experiences with Jesus for evil. Jesus knew Judas’ heart, but allowed Him to be a part of the disciples. Sadly, this fulfilled prophecy, but Jesus knew it had to happen just as it did. Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. He had remorse, but wasn’t repentant.

And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself” (Matthew 27:5).

Judas could have had a far different ending if he had allowed Jesus to change him. His testimony stands as an example of a false follower of Christ. We must always be aware of people who pretend to follow Christ, but their hearts are full of deceit and lies. We can learn from a bad testimony.

One of the greatest transformations was the Apostle Paul, also known as Saul. His life was full of hatred and murder. He had no love for Christians and thought he was serving God by persecuting people who had turned from the Jewish religion to the Christian faith. Jesus knew him, even in his sin, and knew he could and would change. It took dramatic circumstances to get Saul to recognize his need for Jesus. Saul had obtained permission to go to Damascus and arrest men and women for professing Christ for salvation. On the way, suddenly a bright light came from heaven.

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutes thou me?” (Acts 9:4).

Remember, when you witness to someone and share your testimony, if they laugh and mock you, it’s Jesus they are mocking, not you. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18).

It was Jesus whom Saul was persecuting, not the people. This experience changed Saul, and he is known as the Apostle Paul who became the best example of missionary work throughout the ages. His testimony is an example to all of us.

Many people found in Scripture have amazing testimonies. One was Mary Magdalene. She was one who followed Jesus. “And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, and Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance” (Luke 8:2-3).

These women all had testimonies and services to give to Christ, but that place isn’t in leadership or the pulpit. Then there was the man born blind who was healed by Jesus, and then called before the Pharisees. His testimony was questioned, and his parents were brought in as witnesses. He stood firm on his testimony even though the Pharisees had lots of opinions about Jesus.

He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25).

Read about ten lepers who met Jesus and cried out for mercy. “And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed” (Luke 17:14).

Jesus answered their prayer, but only one said thank you. I’d like to know more about the man who was possessed by demons in the country of the Gadarenes. This man had a legion of demons possessing him, and Jesus cast them out and allowed them to possess some swine. The man who had been healed wanted to go with Jesus, but Jesus had a mission for him.

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee” (Mark 5:19). The man obeyed and shared his testimony.

How about you? What has Jesus done for you? Is your testimony a simple statement of faith that you know to be true, or do you have a miraculous conversion story? Each is important, and you need to share what Jesus has done for you. Read through the Gospels and learn about each person who was touched by Jesus. There are many; I’ve only scratched the surface here. Then take a look at your own testimony. Do you have friends who could benefit from hearing it? Write it down if you need to and read it over. Jesus loves you enough to rescue you from eternal death, so you are important in His eyes. Share your story with others. The end of all time is approaching quickly, and your testimony may bring someone to salvation before it’s too late.

God bless you all,
