We have been considering our present time to see that at the end of the Church age, more and more evil is overtaking the world. This growing explosion of wickedness is according to 2 Timothy chapter 3, where evil men will proceed from bad to worse.

The Bible is the most hated book in all the world because the growing wickedness seeks to destroy it. In the 1800s began the attack on God’s established order and especially on the truths of Genesis 1, so that evil men and women have overturned the precepts set down by God for man’s wellbeing. Satan seeks to destroy mankind, and if he can’t do that, then he will corrupt all man’s thinking and bring about ruin that way.

We looked at how creation is now inverted and twisted, with the demonic theory of evolution being the hallmark of a fallen society. Parts 1 and 2 looked at 5 aspects of this inversion, and this time, we look at another important few of these satanic attacks on scripture.

Remember that I am using irony and sarcasm here and there. After the Genesis reference, the opposition and sarcasm are contained in inverted commas and [[ ]] and italics.

THE SIXTH MATTER

Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, ‘LET US MAKE MAN in Our image according to OUR LIKENESS, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'”

[[“NO. That can’t be true. We know God did not make man because he evolved from an ape-like creature and eventually became Neanderthals and Denisovans (another supposed ancestor of human beings) that interbred with early, primitive homo sapiens, and eventually, we became modern man. Have you not heard of Lucy? Your Bible is wrong.”]]

Ahh, so you dare to contradict God? You promote yourselves over the God of creation because you are running after the lie and refuse the truth. You who are evolutionists, who worship your god, Darwin, believe you are improving all the time because of your superior intelligence. Isn’t it wonderful to know that evolutionists have all the reservoir of truth! At least it shows the conceited nature of evolution. In fact, modern man, with his superiority and pride, has even twisted DNA for his own purposes.

Look at this nonsense from an article titled “Evolution of Modern Humans” –

[[“Neanderthal and Denisovan ancestors. This shared DNA could have shaped our individual susceptibility to modern-day diseases or adaptation to new environments and climates. Scientists have found nine Neanderthal genes in living humans known to be associated with susceptibility to conditions such as type 2 diabetes, lupus and Crohn’s disease.”]]

Now listen to the cries of horror and rage and idolatry that rise from the evolution camp. God created man in His own image, but sinful man was not prepared to accept God as creator, so he set up a long line of his own creators. Some were made of stone, others of wood decorated with silver and gold. There you are. Wood and stone created man in their own image! They were the gods of men. Aren’t they so clever! That must be why evolutionists have wooden heads when it comes to spirituality, and hearts of stone when it comes to God. Romans 1:23 “and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for AN IMAGE IN THE FORM OF CORRUPTIBLE MAN, and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.”

I found it most interesting recently when reading Diognetus (written somewhere between 100 – 200 AD), where the letter sets out the vanity of idols – “Come and contemplate, not with your eyes only, but with your understanding, the substance and the form of those whom you declare and deem to be gods. Is not one of them a stone similar to that on which we tread?

Is not a second brass in no way superior to those vessels which are constructed for our ordinary use? Is not a third wood, and that already rotten? Is not a fourth silver, which needs a man to watch it, lest it be stolen? Is not a fifth iron, consumed by rust? Is not a sixth earthenware, in no degree more valuable than that which is formed for the humblest purposes?

Are not all these of corruptible matter? Are they not fabricated by means of iron and fire? Did not the sculptor fashion one of them, the brazier a second, the silversmith a third, and the potter a fourth? Was not every one of them, before they were formed by the arts of these [workmen] into the shape of these [gods], each in its own way subject to change? Would not those things which are now vessels, formed of the same materials, become like to such, if they met with the same artificers? Might not these, which are now worshipped by you, again be made by men vessels similar to others? Are they not all deaf? Are they not blind? Are they not without life? Are they not destitute of feeling? Are they not incapable of motion? Are they not all prone to decay? Are they not all corruptible?”

God has emphasized here the origin of man, which is from the creative mind of God, not from the heart of Africa. In verse 26, there are two expressions – “IN OUR IMAGE” and “IN OUR LIKENESS.” Why do you think God repeated two similar thoughts? It was because God’s Omniscience knew the destructive heresy that would come from Darwin, raised up by Satan to confuse and twist all God’s declared revelation in creation.

What it is exactly to be created in the image of God and according to His likeness, I don’t think any of us can be conclusive about. I do believe the Trinity has something to do with it, and man is a trinity – spirit, soul, and body. I think the emotional side is also important, interwoven with love and justice. In any case, man was not created according to the image of a primate or some hominoid. Because man is created in the likeness of God, then that places man on a very high plane and is the reason why homosexuality is degrading and perverted and abortion is reprehensible in the eyes of God. Because God established man over creation in Genesis 1:26, then that places great responsibility in stewardship, not to rape the earth or to mangle what God has placed here for man’s benefit (such as fossil fuels) or to walk on perverted paths of wickedness.

THE SEVENTH MATTER

Genesis 1:27 “God created man IN HIS OWN IMAGE. In the image of God He created him. Male and female He created them.”

[[“I am sorry, you Christians, you are wrong. Well, I am not actually sorry because you are all stupid. There is no god as we keep telling you, but even if there was, then no one has seen god, so how can that possibly be that we are god’s image? The only image we are made in and actually evolved from is that of an ape or pre-homo sapiens, if you like. Intelligent people do not believe in fairytales. It is the case because nearly everyone with a PhD says so.”]]

A good deal of this we have covered already, but I want to add more.

Mr. Evolution, let me tell you, “Believe in your ape god and trust that for your wellbeing. When you DO MEET GOD at the great white throne, argue the case there with Him if you have any case at all, which you will not have.” Christians know they are created in the image of God and want it no other way. Just to emphasize the point, God stated twice in verse 27 that we are the image of God.

I found the following comments on “Christianity.com” and pasted them for your consideration. I must say that in the second to last sentence, we have to understand “co-creators with God” as meaning having the ability to create and construct according to human terms. For example, right now, I am listening to the beautiful violin concerto of Beethoven – a wonderful creator of music and harmony.

“IMAGE OF GOD” is defined as the metaphysical expression associated uniquely to humans, which signifies the symbolical connection between God and humanity. The phrase has its origins in Genesis 1:27, wherein “God created man in his own image.” This biblical passage does not imply that God is in human form but that humans are in the image of God in their moral, spiritual, and intellectual essence. Thus, humans reflect God’s divine nature in their ability to achieve the unique characteristics with which they have been endowed. These unique qualities make humans different from all other creatures: rational understanding, creative liberty, the capacity for self-actualization, and the potential for self-transcendence.

The term imago Dei refers most fundamentally to two things: first, God’s own self-actualization through humankind; and second, God’s care for humankind. To say that humans are in the image of God is to recognize the special qualities of human nature which allow God to be made manifest in humans. In other words, for humans to have the conscious recognition of their being in the image of God means that they are the creature through whom God’s plans and purposes can be made known and actualized; humans, in this way, can be seen as co-creators with God. The moral implications of the doctrine of imago Dei are apparent in the fact that if humans are to love God, then humans must love other humans, as each is an expression of God.”

THE EIGHTH MATTER

Genesis 1:27 “God created man in His own image. In the image of God He created him. MALE AND FEMALE He created them.”

They can be whatever they wish to be. What you were born as, and the tag put on to you, is now unacceptable. You are what you think you are. This god stuff just enhances gender stereotypes. Don’t you know this is so important that it is taught in schools? Children must be told all the options; the younger they are, the better. It is a good thing that people can change their sex with gender reassignment.”]]

Just one moment, you there with the socialist agenda, deluded with the devil’s lie, a person bent on the distortion and destruction of the human race, let us pass on 1,400 years from when that Genesis verse was written. Let us see what God has said and written – Matthew 19:4 “He answered and said, ‘Have you not read, that He who created them from the beginning made them MALE AND FEMALE. . .” That was said by God the Son, the very one who, in the beginning, created them male and female. Would you tell me that the designer of a clock would not be able to tell me what parts he designed in the whole?

There is no such thing as a she-male or a he-female or a transgender person who was born male but wants to play women’s sport. This is all a mutant mess, a bit like how it was before the flood. And you, socialist, there are only two forms of human DNA. If a person is male, he has Y-DNA, AND NOTHING ELSE EVER, even if he gets around in a dress and wears lipstick and calls himself female. When a person who is female does a DNA test, SHE shows mitochondrial DNA, the exact mark of being female. She can be nothing else, even if she wants to cut her hair short and wear men’s clothes, and even starts taking testosterone tablets. God has imprinted DNA as the exact answer to all man’s fanciful, evil, distorted notions.

So much of this devilish nonsense has come from feminists. These feminists are reactionaries against God, God-haters, and blatant socialists, most of them. They are in the hands of their father the devil. God established an order in creation that feminists severely hate. As Jesus has headship over all of creation, God has granted headship to the man in a marriage, which thing feminists and socialists hate with a vengeance. It is rebellion, totally.

Man’s headship DOES NOT MEAN rule by power or force or by coercion. It means rule by love, seeking the best interests of the man’s wife. Paul stated it better than any of us could do in a fundamental passage –

Ephesians 5:21-31 “and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. WIVES, BE SUBJECT TO YOUR OWN HUSBANDS, as to the Lord, for the husband is the head of the wife as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Saviour of the body. AS THE CHURCH IS SUBJECT TO CHRIST, SO ALSO THE WIVES OUGHT TO BE TO THEIR HUSBANDS IN EVERYTHING.

HUSBANDS, LOVE YOUR WIVES, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless. HUSBANDS OUGHT ALSO TO LOVE THEIR OWN WIVES as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself, for no one ever hated his own flesh but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. For this cause, a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

All Christians must be in subjection to Christ and to one another. That means not just obedience but greatly desirous to love and serve. Did you know God made each of us to have a need of dependence? When a person is committed to the Lord, and dependent on Him, then that person is a happy and fulfilled individual. Feminists hate any idea of dependence. The butch types want domination. It is no surprise, for Satan has twisted and distorted and opposed all God’s perfect order in creation.

For a moment, let us look at some of the horrible mutant positions man has made for himself. Do you know there are 59 terms to describe all these mutant distortions of the simplicity God created in male and female? We know the evil with 2LGBTQIA+, and an “s” has been added for Aboriginal homosexuality – I saw that in a program. Just look at this rubbish of some of the terms; here are the first 10 of the 59: Aces or asexual people, AGs or aggressives, Agender people, Alloromantic people, Allosexual or zsexual people, Allosexism, Androgynes, Androsexual people, Aros or aromantic people, Bi or bisexual people.

Have you ever heard of such an awful abuse of what God did in making male and female? Satan pushes with an all-out agenda to destroy, contaminate, and distort the whole human race.

It makes you sick to the stomach. It will get worse, though, because God said in the last days of the Church age, difficult times will come.
