In Part 1, we looked at how man has taken what belongs to God and canceled God out of the whole matter. The self-deceived in the world dismiss God and His creation and wallow in their own intelligence and wisdom that God calls foolishness. We live in days now where all that is godly is being set aside incredibly rapidly, and man’s wickedness is dictating policies and evil behavior.
These are the last days of the Church age before the Lord takes His people away in the Rapture, and the growing wickedness of the human race will enter the Tribulation. It is a shame that some Christians do not believe that, but the blessed hope of the Lord’s coming for His Church most certainly will happen.
It is astounding how rapidly wickedness is progressing right through governments, the judiciary, and the police force. Even people’s interactions with each other are now not to be trusted as they once were.
We will continue this series begun in PART 1. THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS IRONY. However, I think some people don’t understand irony. Don’t get it muddled. The statement of the Bible from Genesis each time is followed by a direct contradiction. The contradiction will always be in inverted commas along with [[ ]] and represents what is said in opposition.
Remember, there is quite a lot of irony here. Please understand it like that. Britain and Australians use irony. I am not sure about the USA. I think Indians (India) use irony well, but that is part of the British legacy.
THE THIRD MATTER
Genesis 1:3-4 “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. God saw that the light was good.” [[“NO, not correct! But light is not good. We don’t want people examining us and following what we are doing, spying on us. We want our own secrecy.”]]
Sinners don’t want light. We all go about our own lives walking in darkness if one is not a Christian and love that darkness, for we are covered from exposure. “Light is just relative. What might be light for you is not for me. In other words, ‘We all have our own light,” say the walkers in darkness. “It is all just subjective! Live and let live.”
That is the way the natural man behaves. He thinks and does what is natural to him. He does what his nature tells him to do and walks in darkness, but he thinks it is the light. The Bible is very precise about the nature of man, that it is fallen and corrupt and very devious, seeking always to depart further and further from God. God terms it this way – Ephesians 2:3 “Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.”
If I give a person a bucket of clothes pegs all the same color (say white) and ask him to separate them into red and green, he will be at a loss to do what is asked. However, if the bucket contained an equal number of red and green pegs and I asked a person with red-green color blindness to separate the pegs into red and green pegs, he would be unable to do so.
People with “sin color blindness” would find it difficult/impossible to divide light and darkness. O, yes, he could do so in the physical sense but not in the spiritual sense. To put it scripturally –
John 1:4-5 “In Him [Jesus Christ] was life, and THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:9-10 “There was THE TRUE LIGHT which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.”
Jesus is the true light that makes the light of God known so we can see where to walk. God said, “Let there be light,” and in the fullness of time, the Light came into the world. However, men will deny the light and try all the harder to extinguish it. They are cockroaches who love the dark, and when you shine a light, they all scamper away. Those living in darkness will even try to extinguish those who are walking in the Light. Isaiah put it well when he wrote – Isaiah 5:20-21 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!”
It was the Apostle John who dealt with light more than any other New Testament writer. The light is good, for God decreed it to be so. Just a couple of passages I will cite from John’s writings.
(a). John 1:4-5 “In Him was life, and the life was THE LIGHT OF MEN. The light shines in the darkness, and the DARKNESS DID NOT COMPREHEND IT.” The word translated “comprehend” in the NASB means to catch hold of it, to capture it for oneself, or to appropriate it, meaning to apply it to oneself for the better. The exact opposite is what the enemies of truth and light will do. They want to extinguish it, to mutilate it, to crucify truth and light. We see that everywhere in the world today.
(b). 1 John 1:5-7 “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that GOD IS LIGHT, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth, but if we WALK IN THE LIGHT as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” The second application is for Christians. We must walk in the light, or our profession is empty. However, look at the words of verse 5. “God is light,” and it was that Light that said, “Let there be light.” And, of course, the light was good because it represented God. The wicked people of the world have twisted and opposed and distorted the truth of the light to make it represent darkness and have substituted darkness in its place.
THE FOURTH MATTER
Genesis 1:20: “Then God said, ‘Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, AND LET BIRDS FLY above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.” [[“Hang on for a minute! That surely must be wrong. What happened to the reptiles? Our master and god, Charles Darwin, said the reptiles came before the birds as some mutant slimy thing crawled from the sea and started everything on land. The fish struggled ashore and became reptiles. THEN the birds. Don’t dare contradict Charles Darwin! Our master taught him well.”]]
Tell me, is God the Creator of order or disorder? There is no order in evolution, and its basis is anti-Christian chaos and random selection because the basis of evolution is “survival of the fittest.” There is nothing MORE SELFISH than the “dog eats dog” philosophy of Darwin. God has commanded we defend the weak and poor and support them, not walk all over them and crush them beneath the soil that we might rise up over them.
Nothing more satanic and soul-destroying has come upon the human race than evolution. It is straight from hell, degrading and demonic, reducing and destroying the dignity of man. So-called theistic evolution is an absolute disgrace, but it still holds sway in a number of churches. Charles Darwin could only produce his book, On The Origin of Species, under demonic influence. People who fell under his evil influence, among others, were Sigmund Freud, Francis Darwin, Richard Dawkins, Thomas Huxley, and John Dewey (education), and they were all humanists and/or atheists.
Evolution has its basis in full humanism, and as such, it has influenced all aspects of thinking and behavior in the world. It gives approval to violence and, most of all, to the concept that there is no God and some people are elite and can walk over others. No true Christian can possibly accept evolution, and to do so is to downgrade God to an unfeeling and casual observer. Don’t you think it is of note that every dictator, every socialist, every academic wise in his own deceits, is a strong supporter of evolution and dismisses all notions of God and of a God of creation? Some years ago, I wrote a long poem against evolution, and here I will quote just one stanza.
To every living thing it was outlined,
To reproduce according to its kind.
In constant reproduction, we can see,
This principle ordained and orderly.
Then, faithfully, all species keep their dress.
There’s not an intermingled mutant mess.
Primordial slime did not begin life;
Nor did complexity arise from strife.
Now think about this for an observation – you know the world rushes after things in a frenzy to embrace them. Once embraced, they are usually held fast, particularly so if they are evil concepts. Tell me one thing that is Christian, which the world has rushed after to embrace and hold dear. I know of none, but I see the opposite – what is Christian is abused and scoffed at and fought against. Often, that is the indicator that it is good. What is anti-Christian is loved and honored and embraced. The world hates goodness but rushes after what is evil. It will not serve God but serves the god of this world. Evolution has destroyed students at university and young minds that are bombarded with flashy books and movies idolizing evolution. It is one of the devil’s master cards.
THE FIFTH MATTER
Genesis 1:24 “Then God said, ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures AFTER THEIR KIND: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth AFTER THEIR KIND.” [[“Not true. We know evolution is built on the mutation of species. Over millions of years, there are species changes. The Bible was written for simple-minded people who cannot understand proper science. We know that to be wrong because creeping things – reptiles – came before cattle.”]]
Human wisdom counts for naught with God. Man is wise in his own conjectures, and his mind is not open to God but is open to the other side, and Satan will certainly take advantage of that. The devil is the mastermind behind all that refutes God and negates what God has done. That is why the first few chapters of Genesis are so much under attack. Christian ministers must defend these chapters to their congregations, especially for the young people, because the godless humanists are tearing down the faith of our young people.
“AFTER THEIR KIND,” said God, but not Darwin. Well, of course, Darwin could not agree with the Creator because there is no Creator in any case! Darwin knew that. Intelligent Darwin worked that out!]]
Yet Darwin might be kind to you in the matter of “kind” in a not in a too kind way. Generally speaking, in the short term, Darwin might agree with you, “but silly Christians,” evolutionists would say, “don’t understand the meaning of millions of years.” We are expected to see all these changes over hundreds of millions of years. The millions of minute implementations gradually create the new species. Funny thing that is, that God did not think of that! Strange why He did not adopt “the survival of the fittest.” That must not be in the nature of God! God created in perfection, and what was not, then suddenly was!
Wait a moment! This is not the first time God said something about “after their kind.” Genesis 1:11 “Then God said, ‘Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed and fruit trees bearing fruit AFTER THEIR KIND with seed in them, on the earth,’ and it was so.” The universe is set in exact design, and so too is all the creation relating to the earth. Specialized breeders may change the color of the rose or produce bigger blooms, BUT behold, they are still roses. They have not changed into pineapples.
I can’t say I am a dog lover, but I find it fascinating that all the different breeds of dogs have been developed over thousands of years from the original wolf-like dog. It is quite amazing actually. Now I think it is possible for a poodle to breed with a German shepherd, though one is much larger than the other. And guess what? What will be the result? A DOG! Yes, dogs produce dogs. Sorry, Darwin, it is a dog, not a dog starting to produce tusks or wings!
THERE’S MORE! Genesis 1:21: “God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves with which the waters swarmed AFTER THEIR KIND, and every winged bird AFTER ITS KIND, and God saw that it was good.”
Evolution would disagree, for it places the sea creatures before land creatures. God is the great Mastermind and works according to a set principle. He does not change all that around all the time. AFTER THEIR KIND is kept locked in place, for God works according to stability and order.
WAIT! THERE’S MORE! God knew in the latter days a God-denying Darwin would come along, so in His word, He emphasized all the “AFTER THEIR/ITS KIND” (through repetition) again – Genesis 1:25 “God made the beasts of the earth AFTER THEIR KIND, and the cattle AFTER THEIR KIND, and everything that creeps on the ground AFTER ITS KIND, and God saw that it was good.”
God’s creation is good. He saw it. He said so. Evolution is not good. Darwin knows that now, but it is too late. Darwin tried to separate God from His creation, but now Darwin is separated from God in hell. Just another stanza from my poem:
For those, whose God’s creation, won’t allow;
Who won’t before creation’s Maker bow,
Explain this universal fact to me,
Why all through starry space and earth and sea,
Are interlocked all comprehensive laws
That operate so smoothly without flaws.
Did scientific principles arise
Through chaos or disorderly surprise?
