The Amazing Blindness of the World’s “Experts” :: By Dave Hubley

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

This short video is worth a watch and careful listen as to what they (the WEF members) are actually saying.

If you are paying close attention to the world’s mad scramble to “fix” things that are highly suspect in terms of having been the result of humans exaggerating, tampering, experimenting, and even intentionally engineering things to attempt to bring about their “New World Order,” you will gain some additional insight into how they either possess no consciousness of God or are simply determined to oppose Him.

As events digress (actually advance prophetically), the convergence of these myriads of threats to humanity appear to far exceed any possibility of being a “coincidence.”

I mean this in terms of the frenetic activities of humanism as they comport with Biblical prophecy, but also as God uses man’s depravity to further His own plans, as He has always done throughout History.

Are these events just arbitrary, or are they the fulfillment of the prophecies revealed in the Word of God? Are they the logical result of willful rebellion against God’s created order? In these two areas (pestilence and famine), man appears to be diligently working to advance the cause of evil instead of opposing it:

Pestilence / Disease:

“Then He said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven” (Luke 21:10-11). Emphasis added by me.

Famines:

“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, as well as famines” (Mark 13:8). Emphasis added by me.

Man’s determination to defy God’s created order:

“And the LORD said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they have started to do, and now nothing which they plan to do will be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6). Emphasis added by me.

God, at that time, having made communication between all peoples impossible, knew man would eventually devise a “work around,” thus the new common and universal language of Computer-ese.

He has already allowed for that, however, and it won’t change His plans in the least bit.

If you happen to read this, kindly do not write me just for the purpose of accusing me of being a “conspiracy theorist.”

It’s not that I resent that term (I have heard it numerous times in the past), and I have very thick skin. It’s that the proof, as they say, of the pudding is in the eating. Proof abounds now that these “theories” are now no longer only theories but realities.

The taste of this pudding, however, does not satisfy. It saddens.

Blindness to God’s Word:

Events that have and/or are currently occurring preclude any reasonable doubt that the world is rushing headlong toward fulfilling every single jot of the Word of God.

“So also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away” (Luke 21:31-33).

Without regard to whether one believes God or does not, already fulfilled prophecy provides empirical proof of the Sovereignty of the Lord of Hosts.

“For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished” (Matthew 5:18).

You will note that the very prophecies quoted above are directly addressed by these “experts” in their various fields of “knowledge” without the slightest indication that they are aware that they are acknowledging them.

“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Psalm 4:1).

“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One: Let us break Their chains and cast away their cords” (Psalm 2:1-3).

Unless the reader has been away on an extended mental hiatus or completely and willingly unaware of the reality of the current world situation, the evidence of the accuracy of Psalm 2:1-3 paints a vivid portrait of the world of today.

Those who pay appropriate attention to prophecy in the Word of God understand this, and so, as the Apostle John was commanded to do by the angel, we (sisters and brothers) also rely on the testimony of Jesus and worship Him:

“And he said to me, ‘These are the true words of God.’ So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, ‘Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy’” (Revelation 19:9b-10). Emphasis added by me.

Those who fear or ignore God’s prophetic passages not only rob themselves of much-needed (especially at this present time) reassurance that God is indeed bringing about His plans for the end of the age of man’s final, failed self-governance, but they also miss the Truth: That the Word of God is the full and complete revelation, both of Messiah Jesus, but also the Nature and the Sovereignty of God the Father.

For those of my sisters and brothers who are vexed and grieving over the apparent triumphs of evil, I offer this one of many reassurances found in our Bible:

“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass” (Psalm 37:7). Emphasis added by me.

Amidst all this chaos and evil, I believe God is saving the willing by the thousands every single day, and He reminds us of one of the reasons why He is allowing it to continue for the present time by way of this parable:

“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, “Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?” But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn’” (Matthew 13:28-30).

Relative to those who “dwell on the earth,” there is an old saying that goes something like this: “There is none so blind as he who will not see.” The operative phrase here being “will not” as opposed to “can-not.” Can-not might imply that there might be a little room (very little) to account for ignorance as an excuse.

God’s Word puts it a little more succinctly:

“Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear. ‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 5:21-22).

The Word of God also reminds us that men are “without excuse” (see Romans 1:20).

Additionally, the indisputable proof of the Sovereignty of God is in the minutely detailed, already fulfilled prophecies of the Old Testament, as well as the ongoing fulfillment of many (mostly as they relate to world conditions) in the New.

The world is indeed in what appears now to be a constant and undulating state of chaos until all the prophecies be fulfilled.

It indeed can be unsettling as we observe these long-foretold events unfolding, even to those of us who know the full counsel of God, but again, we are reminded: Do not fret.

Pray without ceasing for those who are yet blind to the Truth of God’s plan in Jesus Christ, that many more will come to the foot of the Cross and receive eternal life.

At the same time, we must be realistic: Not everyone is going to be able to be saved, but only those who are willing (see Matthew 23:37). According to God’s own Authority, He will not force people to love Him.

We, as Christians, are charged with loving (according to God’s definition of love) everyone and, therefore, to spread the Truth of the Gospel without drawing our own conclusions as to who may respond.

We simply cannot be certain of what the Holy Spirit will be able to accomplish with our seed of Truth.

Let’s take every opportunity to be in obedience to our Savior.

Maranatha!

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross and rose from the grave three days later, conquering death, just as He promised.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

Crucial Takeaways from the Book of Revelation :: By Dr. Donald Whitchard

Revelation 20:1-15, 21:1-7, 22:17; Matthew 25:41-46; Hebrews 9:27; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15; Philippians 2:9-11; 2 Corinthians 5:10

Summary: I want to bring my series of messages on Revelation to a conclusion by pointing out some key points to consider apart from its prophetic significance. These points can be used as tools for witnessing as well as giving warning.

There is no shortage of material covering the book of Revelation. Countless commentaries and sermons have been written on the book. Its message of prophetic warning and promised redemption has been proclaimed in pulpits, on the streets, in villages, and in countries whose cultures are wrapped in anonymity and mystery. Faithful men of God have taken the Gospel and the promise of Christ’s return to hungry hearts and desperate souls over the course of the centuries, bearing good fruit and reaping harvests in places that had been inhabited by the vile figures of pagan idolatry and the dark arts.

The Spirit-breathed Word of God (John 17:17; Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21) has not lost its ability to reach the hardest of hearts, and in doing so, change the course of nations and individual objectives.

The late Dr. Francis A. Schaeffer (1912-1984) wrote a book entitled He is There, and He Is Not Silent, explaining that God is at work in the world, drawing people to Himself (John 6:44), using committed brethren to carry on the work of the Gospel and that the Word of God is never silent when it comes to dealing with issues and concerns that people find themselves dealing with every day.

We need to take the time to stop and hear what God has to say in His Word and the work of Christ’s true church to be assured that He has all things under His control (Colossians 1:16-18). The modern church has dropped the ball in presenting this message to a world growing more anxious by the day with seemingly nowhere to turn for answers. We get caught up in the worries and weariness just as much as the world, which is something Jesus warned us about in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6:25-34).

We have at our disposal treasures of knowledge and inspiration from the pens and minds of Bible teachers such as David Jeremiah, Billy Crone, L.A. Marzulli, John MacArthur, W.A. Criswell, John Walvoord, Charles Swindoll, Donald G. Barnhouse, R.C. Sproul and others, yet for the most part, their material tends to be unused and unread.

Christian, in these final days before His return, we need to get off our “blessed assurances” and examine our walk with Him to see if we are the real thing or playing some kind of game where we look holy on the outside but are no better than the garden variety pagan next door (Matthew 7:21-23).

Jesus is coming back at a time in which He will not be expected. You can say, “Well, that applies to the unconverted world.” No, it applies to all of us. This is why it is so important to give a reason to the world why we follow Jesus in the first place.

All of what I have written falls in line with what will be my last series of sermons covering Revelation. I want to wrap up the teachings I have presented so far by pointing out that Revelation is not strictly prophecy. It is a call to both the unsaved and the redeemed to get right with God because there will be a day when all the preparations that we were planning to make will come to naught. Revelation is a warning to everyone, believer or not, that God means what he says and is not going to tolerate what is happening much longer.

Aside from the descriptions of the brutal and horrifying time that will come upon the world for its defiance against the LORD and of the certainty that Jesus is returning to make all things new, Revelation has other points worth noting. I pray that you will take them to heart and that you will use them as the LORD leads.

1) Revelation is the final look at what happens when a nation and a world reject God and witness the consequences of such a foolish and dangerous decision.

2) Revelation is a record of the futile attempts by humanity to justify unbelief.

3) Revelation is a record of the rotten harvest of defiance and what happens when the world gets its wish of forsaking God for the drivel of human “wisdom” (1 Corinthians 1:18-25).

4) Revelation shows the results of man-centered thinking and actions. It comes to nothing.

5) Revelation is the FINAL call from a Holy and Loving God to humanity (Ezekiel 18:23,31-32; Matthew 11:28-30) to come to Him for salvation before Jesus returns to judge the world (Matthew 25; Revelation 20).

6) Revelation carries the theme of repentance and renewal as much as it does prophecy and warnings to flee from the wrath to come.

7) Revelation shows how God allows evil to take its course, but in the end, it will be judged once and for all. This current world is not all there is, and God, in His mercy, will not let it continue in such a manner (2 Peter 3:1-13).

8) Revelation shows that God will not take excuses or alibis as a way of clearing the guilty. If anyone does not come to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6), the unrepentant, along with the devil and his angels, will be cast into the Lake of fire forever. God’s justice will prevail.

9) Revelation is the end of all evil and suffering, all wickedness and malice, all sickness and disease, all poverty and sorrow, and the beginning of eternity in the presence of the Lord Jesus for all time with our brethren who have come to Him for salvation across the spectrum of history (Revelation 21:1-7).

10) Revelation’s final verses call on you to come to Christ now and receive true peace and life that the world can never give. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Amen.

As an evangelist, my calling is to do everything possible in the power of the Spirit to warn the world of the coming judgments and to flee into the loving arms of Jesus Christ for salvation before it is too late. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, do it now (Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 6:2). What is written in Revelation is coming to pass before our eyes. Do not be left behind to endure what is to happen to this world. Get into God’s Word and be assured that His promises are true and certain. May He return today.
