The God Factor :: By Daymond Duck

About one week after Israel left Egypt under the leadership of Moses, an estimated two and one-half million unarmed Jewish men, women, and children found themselves camped out at the Red Sea with Pharaoh and a hostile, well-armed, well-trained Egyptian army and 600 horse-drawn chariots approaching them from behind.

The Jews were sore afraid, and they asked Moses if he brought them there to die.

  • “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” (Ex. 14:13-14).

Moses said (in my words), you see Pharaoh and his Egyptian army now, but after today, you will never see them again.

God parted the waters of the Red Sea, the Jews crossed to the other side on dry ground, Pharaoh and his troops followed, the Sea closed, and Pharaoh and his army drowned.

This is the God factor: God delivered the unarmed Jews from Pharaoh and his highly-trained, well-armed Egyptian army in one day.

In one day,

  • God stopped construction on the Tower of Babel, confused the people’s language, and scattered them around the world.
  • God destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah, and all the cities around them.
  • God caused the walls of Jericho to collapse (after the seventh trip on the seventh day).
  • God caused the fortified city of Babylon to fall.
  • God delivered multitudes from sin when Jesus died on the cross.
  • God brought the nation of Israel back into being.

In one day,

  • God will change the world with the Battle of Gog and Magog.
  • God will change the world with the Rapture of the Church.
  • God will change the world with the confirmation of a covenant with many for 7-years of peace in the Middle East.
  • God will change the world with the Second Coming of Jesus.

Do not overlook the God factor.

God can change the world in the blink of an eye anytime He chooses.

The world is not controlled by the U.S., UN, international community, Islam, China, or any other entity.

It is controlled by the God that spoke it into existence, and it looks like He is preparing to act in a big way.

Here are other recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close.

One, concerning corruption in the United Nations: on May 9, 2024, it was reported that a Palestinian group said UNWRA staff members are stealing humanitarian aid and selling it out of their homes and at the door of UNWRA-run schools.

According to the group, citizens who report the UNWRA face reprisals.

Two, concerning deceit: Biden says he supports Israel, he has Israel’s back, his commitment to Israel is ironclad, the U.S. is Israel’s staunchest ally, etc., but he publicly criticizes Netanyahu, he is trying to bring down Netanyahu’s government, he refused to veto the UN resolution to condemn Israel, he is holding up weapons shipments to Israel, he is demanding that Israel not invade Rafah, he is demanding that Israel must prevent the accidental death of Palestinians, he is pushing the Two-State solution to divide Israel, he sanctioned Israeli soldiers who were fighting terrorists in Judea and Samaria, and more.

Biden’s actions – stabbing Israel in the back during a time of war – show disdain for Israel and support for Hamas.

Hamas doesn’t need to release the hostages or stop attacking Israel or sign a ceasefire because Biden is protecting Hamas.

(Question: On May 8, 2024, it was reported that the Israeli seizure of the Rafah border crossing had cut off a major Hamas supply line from Egypt. Why does Biden want this major terrorist supply line kept open?)

(Question: On May 9, Israel’s ambassador to the UN said Biden’s decision to withhold weapons shipments is strengthening Israel’s enemies. Why is Biden strengthening Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, etc.?)

(More: Biden – the Big Guy in the Hunter Biden Burisma scandal – has no problem supporting the corrupt government of Ukraine and supplying them with weapons and bombs, but he has a problem with supporting the government of Israel. His actions defy his claim that he has Israel’s back.)

(Amir Tsarfati’s opinion: Letting Hamas survive will open the door for another Oct.7 attack on Israel in the future.)

(More: On May 10, 2024, 26 Democrat members of Congress sent a letter to the U.S. National Security Advisor urging the U.S. to resume the delivery of security aid to Israel.)

(More: On May 12, 2024, Biden was blasted for withholding intelligence information on the location of Hamas leaders and possibly several hostages, including some U.S. citizens, from Israel. One Jewish writer asked if a friend or ally of Israel would treat Israel this way.)

(More: On May 13, 2024, Biden’s Sec. of State urged Israel to get out of Gaza.)

(More: On May 13, 2024, Biden said he will move forward on the approval process for a $1 billion shipment of weapons to Israel. This is not approval and shipment, but it is a step in that direction. It will also not include 2,000-pound precision bombs.)

(My opinion: God has Israel’s back. I am calling it The God Factor in this article. Israel needs to trust in Jesus instead of Biden, who betrayed America’s troops and abandoned about $80 billion worth of weapons to Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan.)

Three, concerning a curse on those that curse Israel: on May 9, 2024, it was reported that there has been a multi-day, multi-state outbreak of severe weather (920 reports of tornados, high winds, heavy rain, flooding, hail, etc. in 72 hours) in the southeast U.S. (and more to come in the next 2 days).

(More: A report on May 8, 2024, said the U.S. has been hit with 7 disasters in 2024 that cost more than one billion dollars each.)

(My opinion: This could be the God Factor: God’s curse on those who curse Israel.)

Four, on May 10, 2024, Gary Bauer (Campaign for Working Families) wrote:

  • Joe Biden removed sanctions on the Houthi terrorists.
  • He removed sanctions on Qatar, which supports Hamas, and Lebanon, which supports Hezbollah.
  • He removed sanctions on the terrorist Iranian regime.
  • He removed sanctions against the Marxist Venezuelan regime.
  • But he is now imposing sanctions on our democratic ally, Israel.
  • Ponder that for a moment.

Five, concerning Israel’s war with Hamas spreading to other nations: on May 10, 2024, it was reported that:

  • The Jewish Institute for National Security of America warned that Iran and its proxies are watching closely to see if the United States will abandon its ally.

The Bible clearly teaches that the nations (this includes the U.S.) will abandon Israel when it is attacked by Russia, Iran, Turkey, etc., in the Battle of Gog and Magog.

It also plainly teaches that God will defend Israel (The God Factor), and He will receive the glory.

(FYI: On May 10, 2024, an Iranian lawmaker said Iran has nuclear weapons. If this is true, God could soon change things in the Middle East in one day.)

Six, concerning Biden’s abandonment of Israel: on May 10, 2024, The Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported that 80 former U.S. generals and admirals posted an open letter that said:

  • We are very concerned about the security impacts of increasingly strained U.S.-Israel ties as Israel becomes a growing source of domestic division.
  • We feel compelled to declare that a strong Israel is vital to the United States’ national security, and it is imperative that America unequivocally stand by this indispensable ally.

As I see it, these military experts believe a strong Israel is vital to U.S. national security, and Pres. Biden is trying to weaken Israel to appease terrorists.

He wants to weaken the U.S. and bring it into the New World Order, and weaken Israel and force it to accept the Two-State Solution.

Seven, concerning a departing from the faith or a falling away in the Church: on May 3, 2024, it was reported that 17 scholars and activists in the Roman Catholic Church signed a document that says Pope Francis has done great harm to the Church and the entire world.

They asked Pope Francis to resign, but if he refuses to resign, they requested that the cardinals and bishops ask him to resign before he does an even greater harm.

(More: On May 3, 2024, it was reported that the United Methodist Church (UMC) deleted the words “homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching” (and other statements) from its Book of Discipline – By-Laws – so they can approve of homosexual marriages and allow homosexuals to serve as clergy.)

(My opinion: Religious leaders can change their teachings to tickle people’s ears, but they can’t change what the Bible says or how God will respond.)

Eight, concerning the World Health Organization (WHO) Pandemic Treaty (Accord): on May 10, 2024, it was reported that the UK will not sign the treaty in its present form.

Officials have decided not to sign it because it requires them to give 10% of the medicines they produce to the WHO for distribution in poor countries (and to sell another 10% of the medicines they produce to the WHO at affordable prices).

Critics note that UK officials are not objecting to surrendering the UK’s sovereignty; they are refusing to give away and/or reduce the price of medicines.

Nine, concerning a U.S. economic collapse: America’s national debt is now $34.6 trillion and rising.

More than 6 months ago, the U.S. House of Representatives created a bipartisan committee to tackle the problem before it causes an economic collapse.

On May 10, 2024, it was reported that the committee has accomplished nothing, and it appears to be dead.

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin, who sponsored a bill in the Senate, said, “It’s a shame, $34.6 trillion in debt. No one cares about it.”

(More: On May 13, 2024, it was reported that the interest on America’s national debt for the first 7 months of fiscal year 2024 is $514 billion, and it is expected to keep increasing. Our own government says this is unsustainable, but those that can reduce spending aren’t doing it.)

Ten, concerning a borderless world government: on May 12, 2024, it was reported that the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) said the number of known suspected terrorists crossing America’s northern border continues to break records (143 apprehended in the first 6 months of this fiscal year).

(More: On the same day, it was reported that the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) said the Mexican Cartels have increased the amount of fentanyl in fake prescriptions, which makes them more deadly than ever.)

Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war.

Wednesday, May 8, 2024 (Day 216): The one hundred-sixtieth day of the resumed war. Day 2 of the attack on Rafah.

  • An Israeli official said the current invasion of Rafah is a limited invasion, not the full-scale invasion usually talked about.
  • Hamas fired rockets at U.S. troops that are building a pier to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians. No troops were injured, but Hamas wants to control the aid so they can control the Palestinians and blame Israel for their hunger.
  • Israel has killed 50 Hamas terrorists in east Rafah and relocated 150,000 Palestinians.
  • Israel assassinated the head of Hamas’ naval force in Gaza City.
  • There was intense cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
  • The U.S. State Dept. accused Israel of not letting humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza, but Israel released videos of humanitarian aid trucks going in.

Thursday, May 9, 2024 (Day 217): The one hundred-sixty-first day of the resumed war. Day 3 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israeli intelligence believes many of the remaining hostages from Israel, the U.S., and other nations are being held in tunnels under Rafah.
  • Tom Cotton called for the U.S. House of Rep. to begin impeachment hearings over Biden’s withholding weapons shipments to Israel.
  • As of today, Israel’s raid on Rafah has uncovered 10 tunnel shafts.
  • The UK said it will not withhold arms sales to Israel.

Friday, May 10, 2024 (Day 218): The one hundred-sixty-second day of the resumed war. Day 4 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel said it has the weapons it needs to conduct the operations it has planned.
  • Israel’s security cabinet voted to expand its operation in Rafah but not to go all out yet.
  • The U.S. said Israel may have used U.S. weapons in a way that violated international human rights law.
  • A Jewish foundation that has given tens of millions of dollars to Columbia Univ. has suspended its gifts over the school’s support for Hamas.

Saturday, May 11, 2024 (Day 219): The one hundred-sixty-third day of the resumed war. Day 5 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel urged Palestinians in more neighborhoods in Rafah to evacuate because its military plans to move deeper into the city.
  • The UN has reduced the number of deaths in Gaza by more than half and admitted that the Hamas numbers and media reports are not dependable.
  • Yesterday and today, Hamas fired rockets from Rafah into Israel.

Sunday, May 12, 2024 (Day 220): The one hundred sixty-fourth day of the resumed war. Day 6 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israeli sources said the Israeli government could soon collapse over its inability to get more hostages released.
  • Hezbollah announced that it was firing a new type of heavy rocket from Lebanon into Israel.
  • Hezbollah announced that it has reduced the number of troops it has near Lebanon’s border with Israel and is relying more on drones to attack Israel.
  • Egypt threatened to suspend its peace treaty with Israel if Israel expands its attacks in Rafah.
  • Egypt announced its intention to join South Africa’s genocide lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Monday, May 13, 2024 (Day 221): The one hundred-sixty-fifth day of the resumed war. Day 7 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Netanyahu said we are determined to win this battle (with Hamas).
  • Israel stepped up its attacks all over Gaza (north, central, and Rafah).
  • The UNRWA said 360,000 people have left Rafah to date (60,000 in the last 24 hours).
  • Hamas documents that Israel seized in Gaza show that Hamas had a secret force (called the General Security Service) that had a monthly budget of $120,000 and was used to silence all dissenters.

Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (Day 222): The one hundred-sixty-sixth day of the resumed war. Day 8 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israeli tanks moved deeper into Rafah.
  • The UN estimates that 450,000 of the 1.3 million Palestinians have left the city.
  • Israel assassinated a senior Hezbollah commander and his security guard in Lebanon.

Wednesday, May 15, 2024 (Day 223): The one hundred-sixty-seventh day of the resumed war. Day 9 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Hezbollah in Lebanon launched 60 rockets into Israel. They caused minor damage and no casualties.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Are You Ready for Battle? :: By Nathele Graham

Picture in your mind a battlefield. The enemy is formidable and armed with their weapons of battle. What are those weapons? Lies, deception, temptation, fear, chaos, and all things evil. As you look around at your fellow soldiers in this war, you catch a glimpse of an enemy soldier lurking behind the ranks. That enemy is whispering lies to the troops. The enemy seems to know their weapons well and how to use them skillfully. You’re certain that the battle will soon be fully raging in all-out war. There have been many small skirmishes, but nothing that has tried the troops like what is about to come.

You know that your side of this war also has weapons, and you look around at your fellow warriors, and your heart sinks. Look at them! Where’s their armor? They’re dressed in shorts, Hawaiian shirts, and sandals. What happened to the battle gear that the Instruction Book described? You think hard, trying to remember what the Book said. Something about putting on armor, but nobody in your troop seems to have put on any armor.

Peeking out from under a bunk, you notice that somebody had hidden the Instruction Book. It was opened to a section about the battle gear. As you pick it up to begin reading, a voice whispers from behind you, “You can read that later. The battle hasn’t started, and some of your fellow soldiers are watching TV and playing cards in the other room. That will be much more fun than reading this ancient book.” The whispering voice made sense. Why upset the troops with stories of battle and tales of an enemy when there are much more interesting activities to do?

You know that you are armed for battle, but as you look down at your feet, your heart sinks. You only see sandals, but you recall the Book instructed, “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6:15). Spiritual sandals just aren’t spiritual battle gear.

Is that just an imaginary story? Something that makes for interesting reading but just not applicable to you or your fellow soldiers? Sadly, most Christians are clad in vacation clothing rather than the full armor of God.

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).

There is a war raging all around us, but many Christians aren’t fit for battle. They’ve chosen to listen to a watered-down Gospel that tickles ears and doesn’t prepare anybody for war. I have to be honest and say that I’ve attended churches where the preacher has no grasp of Scripture. There is a growing trend found in many pulpits to ignore the battle, make the congregation feel comfortable and cozy, and send them to battle in flip-flops. Pastors should know Scripture and be able to discern the times in which we live. Sadly, in this day and age of softening God’s word so that congregations and offerings grow, God’s word has gone missing. That’s another piece of the armor that seems to be misplaced.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17).

Christ hung on a cross, shedding every drop of His blood in order to offer salvation to all of humanity. That salvation has to be accepted by each individual. Protect your head and brain from enemy attack. Wear your salvation like a helmet to protect you from the lies of the “feel good” Gospel. Your salvation was purchased at a great expense but is offered to you freely. Admit that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself. Your sin has condemned you to eternity in Hell, but you have a choice. Choose to repent of your sin and accept the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for salvation.

Too many Christians stop there, “I’ve gone to the altar and mumbled a prayer, so I’m set for eternity.” Well, if your trip to the altar and your repentance were sincere, you have been sealed by the Holy Spirit. Now you need to show evidence of your changed attitude and turn from your sin. Pick up the “…sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17b). Don’t wait for a preacher to arm you, but allow God to fit you for battle. Pick up your Bible, study it, and apply it to your life.

In studying Scripture for yourself, you’ll learn that there is a real spiritual battle raging. It began in the Garden of Eden and has never eased up. The unseen realm is very real and overflows into the physical realm.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Our enemy is not flesh and blood… it’s not people. It may look as if our enemy is human, but we all have spiritual ears. We can choose to listen to Satan’s voice and act out his evil toward fellow humans, or we can choose to listen to God and show His love to others.

Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” (John 13:34).

We are to love our fellow Christians. Well, we need to love people in general, but our brothers and sisters in Christ are family. Don’t waiver from God’s truth.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

If you are sitting in a congregation where the preacher compromises God’s truth, you need to use Scripture to rebuke the teaching. Does your congregation accept sexual perversion? Get out of there. If you continue to listen to liberal teachings, you allow your spiritual armor to be tarnished. If you continue to listen to false teaching, you will be shod in flip-flops rather than having your feet shod with the Gospel truth. Stand firm on God’s truth, and don’t waiver.

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness” (Ephesians 6:14).

You need to know God’s truth by knowing His word. Put on His armor, and don’t take it off.

How can you know a false teacher? First, you need to know God’s truth. If your pastor doesn’t rebuke sin, there’s a problem. If your pastor doesn’t teach that Jesus Christ was God incarnate, there’s a problem. If your pastor doesn’t understand how important Israel is to God, there’s a problem. False teaching comes from Satan. Just as he confounded Eve in the Garden by twisting God’s words, that evil being is still twisting Scripture. You need to know God’s truth and stand firm on your faith.

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” (Ephesians 6:16).

When you come to faith, and especially if you allow your faith to guide your life, you become a target for the enemy. God won’t let you be a casualty of the spiritual war, but you need to stand with Him, not against Him. When Jesus was in the wilderness fasting and praying, Satan, in all his pride and arrogance, tried to twist God’s words to the One who wrote those words. Jesus was in the beginning with God, and He created all things.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1: 1-3).

John goes on to say that the Word was made flesh. The Word was Jesus… God in the flesh. This is truth. You can either believe it, or you can believe Satan’s lies. Personally, I believe God. As Satan tried to manipulate Jesus into sinning, he pulled Scripture out of context and twisted the meaning. Jesus cannot be fooled, and Satan lost that battle. Satan is always a loser.

Your faith will be challenged, but don’t compromise. Parents, you need to teach your children God’s truth and prepare them for the spiritual battle they will face. Fathers, be sure you are teaching your sons to be godly men. Lead by example. Mothers, teach your daughters to honor God and not to compromise their faith by living worldly lives. I am horrified at what is being taught in public schools, and any Christian parent who accepts the curriculum that’s being taught needs to examine their own faith. Anyone who claims to be a Christian yet can teach children Satan’s lies also needs to examine their faith to see if it is real. Never compromise God’s truth. Study to know what you believe and why you believe it.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).

Scripture is truth from beginning to end, and it never changes. If you think Scripture should be “updated” to fit into modern society, then you need to check your spiritual armor. You’re allowing it to become tarnished. Satan’s fiery darts are messing with your mind.

Don’t forget to pray. Prayer is an important piece of God’s armor. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:18).

Praying for all saints? These aren’t humans whom the pope has deemed special. If you are a person who has submitted to Christ and know that your righteousness is only through Him, you are a saint, holy and set apart for God. Live your life to honor Him, and never be ashamed to openly let your faith be known.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).

Wear God’s armor proudly, and never be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.

The spiritual battle may be unseen by human eyes, but it is all around. It is spilling into the physical realm and manifesting in the acceptance of the moral decay and mental illness of confused people who think they are something they aren’t. People are not animals, girls are not boys, and boys are not girls. No matter how much you mutilate your body, males are males, and females are females. Stand firm on God’s word, put on the full armor of God, and be ready for battle.

God bless you all,

Nathele Graham
