Delaying “No Nuclear Iran”
We’ve heard for years from President Trump and other presidents’ declarations that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. This objective is the primary reason given for the war waged against the terroristic Iranian regime–in the first attack on Iran’s nuclear centrifuges called Operation Midnight Hammer.
The radical Islamists in control of Iran since the revolution that overthrew the shah in 1979 have proven to never let up on their declaration to destroy all who oppose their version of Islam. The leaders and the people who follow them have screamed their chants for years: “Death to the big Satan—America,” and “Death to the little Satan, Israel.”
These have waged war, usually terroristic, with small groups of militants, or with individuals with bombs strapped to their bodies or the bodies of their children. They strike in the screaming rant that “Allah is great!”
The theological premise used to foment such deadly fanaticism is based upon the Koran and passages declaring that all who are not willing to bow the knee to their version of Islam are infidels, thus are worthy of death.
This fanatical Islamist history of murderous intentions leaves the rational among us realizing that if the Iranian regime ever achieved nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, they would act on their desire to eliminate the United States and especially Israel. These Islamists hold to the Koranic dogma that by bringing on the final world war, they’re doing the will of Allah, thus they must do whatever possible to bring on that war.
It is a satanic rage from which they suffer, spawned by the hater-in-chief against all humanity, and against God’s chosen people and nation in particular. That hellish rage was made manifest for the world to see on October 7, 2023, when the most wicked atrocities imaginable were carried out with the massacre of men, women, children, and even infants. Hostages were taken, and the current ongoing action grew from that attack.
So, is there any wonder that this president and Israeli’s leadership have declared that this evil regime must not be allowed to achieve deliverable nuclear warheads?
President Trump has consistently said the nuclear material, now apparently enriched to 60 percent, must be given over, or Iran will face an unthinkable consequence. This continues to be both Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu’s threat.
Why has this removal not yet been accomplished? Trump has proven time and time again to mean what he says. Yet he keeps moving the dates, etc., choosing to seemingly hope for talks with the Iran fanatics who’ve now become the leadership to be diplomatically successful.
All the while, prices rise worldwide because of the regime’s threatened action against shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and other reprisals for American and Israeli military action.
The regime’s leadership, it is conjectured–and I think Trump and Netanyahu believe—will never surrender their nuclear material. Nuclear threat is the only ingredient within their deadly plans that gives them credence on the world stage of geopolitics. If they surrender the nuclear material, they will no longer hold the world in fear of their madness.
At the same time, Mr. Trump and his team of military know the option they have is to destroy the enriched uranium believed to be beneath the Bushehr mountains. As a matter of fact, with today’s sophisticated surveillance capabilities, there is no doubt where that material is located.
America has proven this area could be struck at any time, thus eliminating the threat.
Why has this decision not yet been made?
I believe it’s all part of God’s restraining hand as placed upon prophecy yet future. I’m almost certain that the president, of course, has no understanding of this prophecy. But Mr. Trump does know about the kind of havoc an all-out attack on this nuclear material would cause.
Therefore, this is where I believe Bible prophecy might enter the matters involved.
My friend Bill Salus has written extensively on this prophecy. His book, Nuclear Showdown in Iran: Revealing the Ancient Prophecy of Elam, involves the very region where resides the nuclear material that is at the heart of conflict in Iran.
That Jeremiah 49 prophecy is as follows:
“That which came as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying: Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, the finest of their might. I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four ends of heaven, and will scatter them to all these winds; and there will be no nation to which the outcasts of Elam will not go.
“So I will shatter Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their lives; and I will bring calamity upon them, even My fierce anger,’ declares the LORD, ‘And I will send out the sword after them until I have consumed them. Then I will set My throne in Elam and destroy out of it kings and princes,’ declares the LORD. ‘But it will come about in the last days that I will restore the fortunes of Elam,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 49:34-39).
It is true that such destruction might come from a catastrophe such as a massive earthquake rather than as an attack upon Iran’s nuclear material hiding place. This prophecy, however, seems to be in view to those who “watch” as commanded by our Lord. If President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu determine that this regime of Islamist fanatics will in no case surrender this enriched nuclear stockpile, an attack to obliterate that stockpile might likely be launched.
This could result in just the kind of chaos and scattering the prophet Jeremiah warned about.
This potential nuclear disaster for the Iranian people is why, I believe, every effort at diplomacy is being employed at present. These administrations–American and Israeli—want to make it clear that this was the only option in the final analysis, if indeed the attack is launched.
This is a time for all Christians who believe Bible prophecy is truth from God’s Word to be watchful.
We at RaptureReady.com certainly intend to continue to view all that is happening under the light of God’s prophetic Word.
All of God’s Word, of course, speaks to the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first phase of that return will be the Rapture of the Church–the taking of all believers into the clouds of Glory and safety from all that will then transpire on this judgment-bound planet.
Here is how to make sure you are called by Christ to that safety at the Rapture:
“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

A Prelude to Revelation Days
How much closer can we get? I’ve been asking myself that question for the past several years. It seems as though the seal judgments of Revelation 6 should’ve kickstarted long ago. Everywhere we look, we see the stage setting for much of what the apocalypse reveals will happen after our departure.
The continuing release of the UFO files by the U.S. government is yet another indication that we live in the last days of human history as we know it. I suspect the disclosures will convince many that the sightings confirm the existence of alien life. The revelations are already deceiving some, as Congressman Eric Burlison recently stated that the disclosures have “challenged his faith in God.”
Really? I see the alien files as yet another validation of prophetic messages contained in the book of Revelation, a prelude to the time of judgment described on its pages.
Deception
The intensifying interest in UFOs and alien life is symptomatic of Satan’s efforts to deceive people during these last days. With the advent of AI, the potential for deception has greatly increased. With these tools, people can create or alter videos and voice recordings so as to make what’s completely false appear genuine. The amount of fake information on social media is staggering. Although I have learned to be exceedingly cautious, I have still fallen for more bogus posts than I care to admit.
The bad news for the world is that the deception of our day will get even worse once the Tribulation starts. When we turn to Revelation 13, we see that the devil dramatically ups his game at deceiving people. When I read this chapter in light of AI’s abilities to deceive people and how demons are already leading people astray with UFO sightings, I’m amazed that new ways still remain for antichrist to deceive and subjugate humanity. What we see today will surely get significantly worse after the Rapture.
Those who deny the prophetic message of the apocalypse claim that Revelation 13 represents Satan’s attempts to deceive “God’s people” throughout human history. Although highly popular in churches, the denial of a future “beast,” or antichrist, leads believers away from the truth of what God’s Word says about today versus the upcoming Tribulation. It not only deceives believers into thinking that this is a time just like any other in history, but it also closes their eyes to the multitude of other signs signifying that we are ever so close to meeting Jesus in the air.
Two Paths
The media hype regarding the release of previously classified information concerning the UFOs confirms another theme that we see in the book of Revelation. It highlights the differing paths of belief and unbelief that will become even more pronounced during the days of the judgments recorded in the book of Revelation.
After the Rapture, most people will believe the lies told to them regarding our disappearance. It seems likely that the ruse of alien abduction will be a highly popular explanation put forward by world leaders. In the aftermath of the most stunning event in human history resulting in multitudes of missing people, most people will eagerly believe the false explanation for it. Paul wrote about the deception that will lead many astray after our departure in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12:
“Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
When we turn to Revelation, we see the sad results of those who reject the truth and, as a result, fall for increasing levels of deception. After the trumpet judgments, the text says this about the dire state of those who continue to reject the truth and remain deceived:
“The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts” (Revelation 9:20-21).
Although given the chance to turn to the Lord amid the Tribulation horrors, people will cling to their evil behavior rather than turn to the Savior. They will be the ones who willingly worship the beast and take his mark so as to preserve their ability to buy and sell.
We also see another path in the book of Revelation, one that a great many people will choose after Jesus takes us home to Heaven to be with Him. John wrote the following about this group that he saw in heaven:
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10).
I believe the UFO craze of our day is preparing vast numbers of people to accept alien abduction as a plausible explanation for our disappearance. Based on the verses above, however, we know that a “great multitude” of those left behind will reject the world’s explanations for the Rapture and turn to Jesus in saving faith. Rather than believe the prevailing lie of their day, they will see it as an unmistakable confirmation of the truth of God’s Word.
We live in a day when a great many people have already rejected the Gospel and traveled down the Romans 1 road to a “reprobate” or “debased mind.” They are the ones who will eagerly embrace the lies of the devil regarding the reason(s) for our disappearance. This may very well begin with their acceptance of the current revelations regarding alien life.
